Around him Hun-yar saw life in abundance, and this was good for it would be to him as grain is to the farmer, a thing to let grow and harvest. Yet, he found his own holdigs, the lands he claimed as his own wanting. They were meager and tiny things, so he expanded. In the north more dead forest sprang up admist the plains and mountains. To the east and south he created a new type of lands, the wastelands, a vicious land trecharous to any life. The soil is dead, unable to grow life and is constantly being upturned, creating massive dust storms. The only things that subsist in such harsh lands are vultures and other scavangers, who harvest those foolish enough to enter the lands.
