Whether or not this thread or quests threads are circlejerks isn't really important. What is important is that the denizens /tg/ are having fun. I view these sorts of threads no differently to how I view most other threads on /tg/. It doesn't matter if it's about people discussing or complaining about lore or stuff from other games. It's all a part of the culture we've built here, all the storytime threads, the drawthreads, how people need to shutup about 40k, that guy stories and system general threads are all part of our culture and charm.

So I don't think this sort of thread is polluting the front page of /tg/, if you don't like these kinds of threads you can always hide them or ignore them because regardless of whether you love or hate them, they're a part of us. That's doesn't mean we need to spam the board but with how things currently are I don't think we really need to worry. Regardless of how uncreative some of these threads may be there is always a chance something great can be born from them. So I got to floor... well, I can't really tell. It's this weird symbol, I don't know.

Anyway, all there is is this door with this mannequin wrapped in an American flag talking in hushed tones about, like, jets or something. When I turned to leave, the staircase was gone, replaced by a concrete wall.

I just got done screaming and crying for about ten minutes straight and now I'm just sort of a scared-bored. Anyone know how I get out of this?

Guys Ive made a mistake.

I was part of the original 'Monkeywrench' team invoked with 11B, Im sure you all know the details of that endeavour, but.. Ive been out of the loop for a while, and I get a call from Hendricks, and we met up for a drink last night. We tried to talk about everything but..it. His wife left him, took the kids. Mine dont return my calls anymore. Well anyway, we were drinking and avoiding the elephant in the room for a few hours, and when it closed up, we left, he offered to share a taxi because we were both pretty slashed. I passed out in the cab, and woke up to Hendricks shaking me, telling me to come in and sleep on his couch.

We went upstairs and I passed out quick, heard him pattering about making tea or something, but he dropped the cup. Shook me awake again.

That was about twenty minutes ago. We are hiding in the bathroom now, its the only door we opened that led where it was supposed to. Every other door opens onto that hallway, but the front door, oh god please help us the front door.

We're in 11B.

Our team has been assembled in a nearby block - six of us altogether tasked with bringing that shitstorm under "Safe" control, just gotta wait for command to come in from the room next door with the briefing.
