The Chief recoils, trying to hide behind his relatives after the sudden invasion by an Orc.

Orc-bro looks around, surveying the situation for himself. It seems he came in alone. Slutty-san woke up when he crashed in.

"Hurry up and untie me!" She shouts out. You sit there quietly.

Orc-bro draws his axe, taking a swing at her chair. He smashes to pieces. Then he swings at your chair, but only manages to knock off two of the legs, making it fall over and you on your side.

Slutty-san starts casting a spell, backing up behind Orc-bro.

"Careful boys, she seems dangerous."
With this warning, the Chief sends the men toward Slutty-san. Orc-bro takes a defensive stance. When one gets in range, he swings at it, cutting a swathe in him. Taking the hint, the other man backs off to a better range. The injured one crawls away and holds his hand to his injured chest.

Just then, Slutty-san lets loose a fireball, engulfing the room in flames. The other two back out of the room. You struggle a bit before you realize that the ropes are loose. It seems the axe did more than you thought, and the rope was cleanly severed.

You climb to your feet, coughing in the smoke. You see the three perpetrators fleeing through a backdoor while Slutty-san and Orc-bro are backing out of the entrance Orc-bro created.

With that, the three of you set off toward the forest. Shortly into the forest, you come across the place where you pitched your tent. Well, you think it is the place. Even though you had set a fire there the previous night, it seems all remnants of your previous stay are gone.

The path you are on goes north and south. There is a clearing to the east and west, with your party having stayed in the western clearing.

Walking into the other clearing, you see it looks very similar to the one you stayed in.

It was disfigured, though not in an unusual way. There was bark stripped so as to reveal the underwood. It does look quite familiar.

"Ah, I remember! I took a nap against a tree just like it." Orc-bro suddenly realizes "I took a nap against it... over there..." He says, pointing back to the other clearing.

After a quick analysis of the other clearing, it seems he was right. It was a very similar pattern, though reversed.

He heaves his axe in the air and swings at a tree, taking a large chunk out of it, though not felling it.

Your group goes to examine the other clearing. Coming upon the tree that you think corresponds with the other one, it does not seem to be harmed. You go back to the original tree, thinking the experiment a failure, when you see that that tree is no longer harmed either.

The chunk is missing from the forest floor, and the majority of the trees remain untouched, including the one that Orc-bro took a chunk out of.

Deciding it would be best not to disturb this cooky stuff, you head back the way you originally came from, toward the lord. You still havent found the tax collector, so maybe you wont report to him yet.

Your group had been walking for several hours now. Deciding it was time to take a break, you keep your eyes open for a clearing to rest in.

Eventually, you reach one.

Looking around, you see where Slutty-san is looking. It appears to be a tree. A scarred one, with some of the bark chipped off.
