Hulking knight with "Claw shields" that are actually rapid-fire spike launchers, a horned, dragonlike helm, Scorpion tail that fires spikes too ("Tracer arrows"?) and dragon/insect wings used for a speed boost and hovering for short durations. Wings fold into a "cape" of sorts for the knight.

It seems like while Denis is somewhat agile, he also can take a beating, so a heavy knight that can also move quickly is what I made. Maybe make him move like a slow, heavy knight until he needs to dodge or get a better vantage point, then he shows his true speed.

Besides, the first Akuma we see in the original story is a humanoid Jester with exaggerated features too. I'll make a full drawing now, and I'll try to dehumanize it more.

I've been thinking on this for a while now, and I think Morgan can make this a reality. We already brought forth the notion of using the skulls as teachers and leaders, but what about incubators?

What if we were to change the akuma making ritual by having a skull take the place of the mourning sucker who took the good doctor's deal. Have the newly born akuma forego it's own disguise and initial freedom, instead hibernating inside the skull. This would allow the fledgling to be moulded by the skull's superior control of dark-matter and mana. It would allow the akuma to learn all the essentials of blending in and being an effective hunter without giving itself away.

Bring up the idea of using Jacqueline's poison inside bread and drink, the priest can "bless" the water/wine. Using that to make them sluggish or unconscious to give us an edge in taking the Mages alive for Morgan.

We're going to want to drop the docks into the water, between Jacqueline and Lisa in the water, and Edward making it absurdly cold nobody who calls into the water is going to be able to do much.

If Morgan and the Skulls can whip up some talismans or foci beforehand it'll be useful as we can set those up beforehand and utterly wreck the docks.

Schwere will weight down all the armored fellows, and if my guess is right she has control over magnetism or metals or something like that, which will utterly fuck up most of their fighters, and once they're a ball of stuck together knights we just heat it up until they bake.

Armbrust does need some of Jacqueline's venom for the opening strike on the mages.

They won't be eating before the funeral, but there may be ceremonial wine, they may drink water or wine to keep hydrated, we can have James poison those with Akuma Virus or Jacqueline's Venom.
