The Doctor looks down at the bisected human, cuts something that makes the breathing stop, and takes off one of his gloves, offering youthe naked hand as a handshake.. You take it in stride, giving him a firm grip as you look himin the face...
Dark Gray skin as any Noah.. Curly black hair that falls down to his neck, and a gentle, almost serene composure.. He bears no stigmata upon his forehead.
As the handshake is done, he gestures for You and Alice to Follow suit,"Morgan-dear, that one is done. Stitch him up and he'll be ready to go."

"Yes Doctor.." Morgan begins stitching up the cadaver.. yet you notice that its face has skin oulled over its features, rather taut, and almost translucent without fullness or musculature. .. Seems they're making more of those things..

As you walk with the Doctor, you pass through a hallway with numbers of doors, and finally arrive at a small dinner table with 14 seats. Without being asked to, you take a seat, while Alice does the same, sitting at the next seat to the head of the table, that the Duke takes for himself," I.. don't suppose that you enjoy food now and then, Faefnir?"
You look at the table before you, closing your eyes," I certainly do.." You look at Alice and the Doctor, eyes transfixed upon the man," Makes baking worth it after all, you give a nervous smile..

"Excellent, I'll have the chefs make Ratatoille and other cuisine from France.. I went through there upon my way to seek the other Noah you know..."

The Doctor folds his hands before him at the table, the candlesticks' light flickering to give you a rough view of his face. His hands, gloved, clean as he exchanged a pair from his previous work upon the skull... You see a thin crescent of a smile upon his face through the dim, he has your attention...
"The lovely land of France and her people.. I traveled through many of the lavender countrysides with my own family upon the forefront of my mind... It was in a little village along the southern coast of France that I stumbled into Alice.."
At the mention of her name, Alice smiles and tilts her head toward the Doctor, like a doll in reverence of her keeper.. Yet she does this oh so mockingly," I was but a frail thing lost in a world of adults and disaster, n'est sui pas?" Her accent begins to come through, foreign, yet familiar.. Her voice coming from within her nasal. She twirls her hair," Dear Adam, We're running a tight schedule aren't we? Do really you think that Faefnir needs to hear our stories?"

The Doctor looks to her, a grimmness about him now, yet his vision shifts to you and his eyes narrow, focusing hard and sending chills down your spinal chain,"I do not mean to bore my guest. That is so.. Faefnir, would you rather keep this casual, or get straight to business?" His crescent smile returns,"Tell me.. What you'd like.."

You avert your gaze for a moment, glancing about. Seeing now tha within this burrow, there are other people here, in waiting, watching.. Yet they do not bare the skin or the stigmata.

The Doctor gestures to them," They are demons, not so unlike yourself, fear not, they are only here to serve us for now.. To the best of their ability."
At the end of his word, he awaits your response as Morgan walks into the room in a simple black gown, taking her seat on the second chair to the doctor's left.

The doctor nods his head slightly at that," Yes, yes, one that I am well aware of.." He snaps his fingers and food is brought in,"The Main course is cancelled, we must make do with hor's d'oeuvres.." Akuma waiters come in, followed by a Skull that set down plates, of scant, yet delicately prepared food, yet you remain on the course of business.
"Indeed, Speaking of that.. It is nmy understabding that you had sensed me through an Akuma.. One that looked quite like a comrade that I had thought to be deceased.. What of that, doctor?"

A chuckle is heard, reverberating through the room, and Alice looks at with meek posture, uncomfortable in her seat.
"Good of you to bring that up.. He is yours if you'd like him back.. Alice picked him up shortly before his demise when we stopped by Ruinebriar.. The Exorcist that you had known as "The Asher" had been sloppy.. He mutilated your dear Ivan and cast him aside.. The Demon's innate ability did indeed save his life however as He vanished from sight and the Asher took his pursuit to you.. With your party long gone.
You could almost say that he had the Devil's luck?"
The doctor forks one of the morsels upon his plate and puts it into his mouth, chewing a crunchy appetizer slowly to savor it..

You breath a sigh of relief,and bring a hand to your face as you try to regain your composure as the feelings you had felt for his death come rushing back in reverse.. Joy.. Joy you feel that he is alive now and not lost.."But.." You start as it dawns upon you.
"How did he find his way there, why did he not remember me?"

The Doctor swallows deliberately and points his fork in Morgan's direction,"I believe that you should ask this one here of that.."

It's Morgan's turn to look uncomfortable, though she maintains her composure far better than Alice.. She looks to you, and averts her gaze slightly, chin up, and holding some kind of nobility. Nobility that you had saved from Rickton Asher.. Her eyes dart to the Doctor,"Adam, this is not what we brought him here for, we should.."

The Doctor gently sets down his fork, folds his hands and looks to Morgan all in silence. He speaks, his voice stern, and unyieding, like a father chastising his child,"You will answer a member of your family.. You will answer him as he sits in one of Bondomu's seats. You will answer him because He deserves to know what you've done. You will answer him because we will not keep secrets from each other. Not this time."

Morgan averts her gaze again, looking down at the table," May I be excu-"

Welp, he knows, Morgan did something and it looks like we are here for a reason. Well.. chances are the Doctor will force the issue if we try to divert from it, but right now we need to STAY CALM. Ivan is safe. That's good. As long as we can get him back, no issues.

We can ask what she did, but we should be ready to bite our tongue and grit our teeth. She likely has reasons and it's obvious that both Alice and Morgan don't want to make their brother/sister mad or they are repentant... or whatever Noah feel that's similar to that. Any bile we feel we can save for the reds and the exorcists. After all, they are the reason we almost lost Ivan in the first place.

As she finishes, she folds her hands together and stares at you blankly, distant as though she does not want to be "there" for the backlash...

Still, Ivan is alive and she didn't mean anything cruel by it. In the name of all that is unholy the things are much worse than I expected.

We have to do something big to reverse the tide of this war. Something such as corrupting humans on a large scale. Researching curses could come in handy here.

We could tackle this in a completely opposite way too and go into hiding with the Noah. If demons disappear for a couple hundred years or more, they will fade into legend. People won't expect them and will not be prepared to fight them.

I can't be the only one thinking 99% of Alice's attention and power is going toward killing the Red Queen.
