You approach Commander Quattro and the rest of your baffled yet relieved squad, and perform a traditional Stella Platina salute.

"Objective Complete, sir!"

"I can see that!" He chuckles lowly and crosses his arms. "Truly, the ones with the Star Birthmark are a blessing bestowed upon us by the Emperor himself. With you in our ranks, there's no way the Battlers could lose!"

You scan the area. Medics are tending to the wounded, Rahman and Mercuria are speaking, and Hayes is nowhere in sight.

[Forgive my afkness you guys, I had something to deal with.

I hate to disappoint, but "Domino Effect" only works on "objects you can see". You do not have to see it completely, but it needs to be clearly defined. Thus, you can use Touch and Go on someone's skin in its entirety if you can see their face, but if it's someone like a Krieg you cannot see any of their skin, you can't affect their skin.

Keep in mind that Stand Users barring Polnareff can see what their Stands see.

You decide to approach the Guardsman that seemed, in your opinion, to be the most critically wounded.

There was blood everywhere.

"How is he?", you ask the medic tending to him.

"He's not going to make it", she responds. "He's lost too much blood. If we could stop him from bleeding so much I could probably stabilize him, but as it stands, there's nothing I can do".

You recognize the Guardsman as the Chimera's main operator. What do you do?

[Sorry for long update time, network being a shit.

Also, questions in regard to what Joachim is currently seeing, feeling, his inventory and whatnot are a free action and don't require a roll, for future reference.

>>

You use Low Rider to manipulate the blood around the would. It starts to clot, but this surely isn't going to save him by itself. You look at the medic. She cracks a smile.

"Yeah, whatever you did, thanks. This ought to earn me enough time to work. Come to think of it, weren't you hit pretty hard? You should have that checked up. I can do an examination once I'm done here, if you want.

[I saw you guys mentioning 1s earlier. If someone rolls a 1, it overrides every other action, and the result is going to be a botch version of whatever suggestion the roller made.

"I think I know where it is. Bad news is, it's pretty far away, and to get there on foot would take way too long. The good news is, we have a Valkyrie airlifting reinforcements to this location. Rather than making a return trip, I'll tell them to take you there."

"Colonel..."

He smiles genuinely. "No thanks necessary. If such is the Emperor's Will, so it shall be done. It would be incredibly useful to have you around, but you have a place to be. "Ah, Joachim!" he calls out as he sees you approach. "I was expecting you to approach me so we could talk. You must have many questions, in regard to your 「power」."

"Not as many as me," interjects Mercuria, "I still have no idea what just happened. It was insane. But eh, I figure things do tend to get crazy whenever you're around, Joachim. Just never like this."

"In any case...", Rahman starts. "That Battle-Spirit of yours is something we of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica have always thought as but a myth, if we know about them at all. One of the few records to have survived the distant past spoke of them...the record was a transcript of a report written around the 3rd Millenium. In it, it described that certain gifted individuals could harness the power of 'spirits from within', each with radically different powers, and control them as if they were just another extension of their body. That record, transcribed from an ancient language, was written by one「SWF」."

"「SWF」..." you mutter after him.

"Indeed. This record referred to these powers as 「Stands」. So while we of the Astra Telepathica called it 'the Legend of the Blessed Battle-Spirits', it seems the original users called their power 「Stand」."

"So wait." Mercuria interrupts. "This power Joachim has harnessed is called a「Stand」? "

"Indeed. But by far, the most interesting aspect of this tale is, right now, where the reproduction of said document was located. It was found in no other place than Stella Platina."

"WHAT?!", both you and Mercuria yell in unison.

"How could a copy of an ancient document from Holy Terra find its way to such distant a planet... only to be unearthed by the Astra Telepathica about 500 years ago...a myth turns out to be more than fiction, and by a dweller of Stella Platina itself. It is unbelievable."

"But..what reason could there be, JoJo?" Mercuria asks you. You place your hand on top of your helmet, as if adjusting a hat.

"That's something I intend to find out. And the Bohemia Tower seems a good a place as any to start looking for some clues."

Your helmet has a sticker for a traditional sigil from your home planet on the top left side. It looks like a circle bisected by a vertical line, and with an upside down "V" intersecting it at the bottom.

You also wear a golden pin on the front right side of your helmet. It depicts an open hand with its five fingers stretched upwards yet not to the sides. It is another holy sigil from your home.

You carry two frag grenades, a laspistol, your uniform, a canteen, and of course, your flak jacket and helmet. Your scarf still keeps you warm, and the Heart Pendant hangs from your neck.

You realize you lost your Lasrifle, probably when the Chimera was hit.

You also do not have the Choppa any longer, in virtue of wedging it firmly into a Shoota Boy's chest.

"Rahman", you turn back to the Psyker. "To tell you the truth, I saw a strange vision when we first met. There was a...Stand next to you, and it looked like a red bird-man. And you weren't really you, but rather, someone with a similar face."

"Peculiar", the psyker answers. "I saw something strange, too. Next to you, there were 「Nine Silhouettes」, if I managed to count correctly. I thought I was just seeing things, though.."

"Perhaps not." you say.

"Regardless, it seems I did not meet you just out of luck, Joachim Joestar. I hope that I am useful to your future."

"Hey, don't hog all the glory." Mercuria. "You two ain't goin' in at this alone, ya hear? I'm gonna be with you two through thick and thin as well."

Your bonding is cut short as the sound of engines draw closer. You look up and see a Valkyrie heading towards your squad. Soon enough, it lands, and is vacated by several mixed Guardsmen forces. You realize that while most are Battlers, there are some Cadians intermingled with them as well. You remember that there is a Cadian regiment fighting in another part of the planet.

"Transport's here", Zola, the medic, approaches your group. "Pleasure to meet all of you. Now there's going to be plenty of time to trade life stories inside of the Chimera, you hear?"

You climb onto the squad hold of the Chimera. All four of you look back at Colonel Quattro, who is looking at you from down below. The four of you salute him in tandem, and he salutes back.

It is not long until you are in the air. Only the four of you are in the Valkyrie, alongside the Operator crew.

What do you do now?

The medic known as Zola looks, perhaps, all-too-innocent and entirely too young to be in the battlefield.

Sure, you are a young man too (in your 21st year to boot!), but she looked even younger. Granted, in this universe, factors such as age do not stop conscription...but service in Stella Platina is never mandatory (special cases like Mercuria's notwithstanding). You wouldn't place her outside the 15-17 age bracket.

From the looks of the locks that escaped her helmet, her hair was jet-black and rather short.

Bottom line, while Mercuria's angular face reflected on her role as a 'combatant', Zola's soft, gentle and rounder features made her look like a 'caretaker'.

>>27593616

Halfway through the trip, you decide to bring out Low Rider. As there was enough space for you to do so, you decide to have him toss a few punches in order to see his capabilities. You have him basically shadowbox...but you can't really tell much, outside from the fact that his fists are much faster than what your senses can perceive.

You determine that Low Rider has to be lightning-fast, from his punching speed and the fact that he managed to intercept a Power Klaw aimed right at you, closing a distance of about 2 meters to do so in a split second.

Your transport soon touches ground, and you step out of the Valkyrie together with your entourage. About 500 meters from your location, a large, black spire stretches out to the heavens, its structure battered by unimaginable age.

Hmm, if only we had a stubber on hand, we could fire it and have our Stand try to catch it.
While not useful against opponents armed with energy weaponry, our Stand could prove immensely useful against enemies armed with physical projectiles.

Also why is everyone so keen on hamon, it's not that effective outside of undead/vampires/pillarmen, if anything we should try to reenact the Spin, since our Stand manipulates friction, unless we can infuse Hamon with the Emperor's Light or whatever, Hamon would be almost useless outside of healing.

>>
>>27594433
Quite a bit of that is redudant thanks to us having a Stand, our Stand is a melee-type, so we already have strength and speed, hell Jotaro seemed to age backwards after awakening his stand.

However being able to zero friction an object and then using the Spin on it could allow you to do all kinds of crazy shennigans.

>>27594540
Still doesn't seem as worthwhile as having a Stand that can manipulate the fundamentals of the Spin.
>>
>>27594622
But why not get BOTH THE SPIN and RIPPLE?

I mean, it made bubbles into fucking scary shit.
>>
>>27594540
Bottlecap gun/cactus would probably be weaker than an actual lasgun/pistol.

Leafhanglider we could just take a lightweight object and up the friction on it to an incredible level to do the same thing, and with Hair Shield we can just ORAORA bullets.

On the other hand, Super Spin can do dimensional fuckery, and we could probably hit shit in the warp with our Steel Balls.
>>
>>27594285

You approach the operators o fthe Valkyrie and pop a simple question.

"How about leaving us at the top?"

"We can definitely fly you up there", the main pilot responds, "but we couldn't see any external entry point as we flew around it, and have no way of opening one ourselves. Not to mention we don't have any Paratrooper equipment on board to drop you safely, either. Unless you have some sort of plan?"

This is a crossover, so God-Emperor only knows how things will interact with each other. The Ripple might prove extremely effect against dark Chaos energies. And seeing as Stands are psychic and how psychic energies are related to the Warp and 40k's track record with that...yknow, it might be handy to have a fallback technique or two.

>>27594665

Or we could do this and just load ourselves up. I don't see any reason why not to - it wouldn't be hard to edge the story in a way such that each technique will be valuable to us at different points.

"C'mon, JoJo!" Mercuria chuckles. "Did you honestly believe we'd find resistance in a tower that has been deserted for ages?" She jokingly punches your shoulder as she gets off the elevator.

Well now you just feel plain silly.

You find yourself inside what appears to be a comms room, perhaps the largest you've seen in your entire life. The derelict equipment, emblazoned with Imperial emblems of faded gold, does not seem usable any more.

You decide to scan the room, but are stopped as a large behemoth of a man comes within your vision. You have 'met' this man once before, his holy visage now radiant in your vision.

You kneel in front of him. He speaks up.

"Never kneel before me, Joachim Joestar. It is because of those like you that I was given the title and role I have had. You and I have much to talk about."

However, most know it under the name of 「Astronomicon」. And while the beacon in the warp can be seen by any man, this projection that allows 'Direct Communication' can only be seen or heard by those with Stands. Such an ability, however, does not work anywhere, and this room, along several others, was specially designed in order for my ability to work in a long distance, far faster than that which any Astropath can achieve."

With a renewed vigor, the Colonel speaks again.

"...JoJo. Costello. Akon. And my dear Zola...you are the 「Last Battlers 」! GLORY TO YO-"

The loud BLAM of a Bolt Pistol firing is the most horrible noise you've ever heard as rage wells within you.

Zola wails inconsolably.

"PAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

"Oh, be quiet, little girl. You will be joining him soon, anyways! No reason to be sad! Now, this Inquisitorial ship will be leaving Vox range, but it will leave you with a nice parting gift of EXTERMINATUS!!"

"Hayes.", you begin with an icy heart. "I will find you and I will kill you. I will make you pay for your treachery."

"I'd love to see a dead heretic hunt me down! Now... GOODBYE, JOJO!!!"

The Vox goes dead, as so does the glimmer inside a young girl's eyes.

The elevator finally reaches the ground level. Everyone is silent.

>>
>>27597809
Wait, so he executed an entire regiment and issued exterminatus over *one guy?* How the fuck is that even possible? I thought that exterminatus was a last resort option, hell he's not even an Inquisitor!

>>27597937
I know that, but a regimental Commissar doesn't have the authority to execute exterminatus, that shit's left to inquisitors and people like Lord Generals, it's a method of last resort, NOT the default option for something like this, if anything they'd send an assassin after him, not to mention executing an *entire* regiment because of 1 guy.

>>27597958
Unless the situation is pretty much beyond recoverable, they'd just throw more troops at it, not even the imperium can afford to Exterminatus planet that troubles them, hence why the Imperial Guard exists in the first place.

"Do you trust me?" You ask Mercuria and Rahman. They, of course, nod solemnly.

Removing the pendant from your neck, you tell them to stretch out their hands. You first cut into Rahman's exposed palm, and then alongside Mercuria's finger.

"This...should awaken your Stands. The Emperor told me so." You notice them struggling for balance. "That sensation will be gone soon."

After a minute or two, they regain their bearings. You and Rahman step out of the lift first, followed by Mercuria, who had a broken Zola in tow.

You are at the entrance of the tower.

You do realize that the only Jojo to act like that also had one of the shortest lifespans, failed to kill the villian and died in his own story arc, right?

Jojo villians don't pull their punches and trying to make the quest run the most thematically is a good way to kill off everyone.
>>
>>27598455

[You forgot Jolyne. She died and failed to kill Pucci, but Emporio finished the job using Heavy's Stand Disc]
>>
>>27598455
Furthermore, if we want to operate thematically, most of the Jojo final villians weren't actualy the first guy introduced, for all we know this could be our version of Straights, or Leakey Eyed Luca.

Hell, only Dio and his various incarnations filled that role.

>>27598511
Actually I was excepting that, because the Poochie managed to actually get killed, instead of surviving to spread more chaos.
>>
>>27598581
>turns out he was manipulated by chaos all along
>we find out and liberate him
Our Kakyoin?
>>
>>27598628
Wouldn't that just mean he just gets stuck in a Penitent Engine?

Executing and entire regiment and issuing Exterminatus isn't something you just walk away from, he'd get shoved in a Penal Legion for doing things much less worse, and 'being succeptible to chaos' isn't something that's going to make his case any better.

>>

You approach the silhouette slowly. As it comes into focus you realize that it is not human.

For starters, its skin is life silver, and it has no mouth.

As a white, green and red blur enters your vision from above, you realize you are looking at a Stand.

And now, you are face to face with its owner.

Her long, red hair was utterly striking, as was the red facial markings adorning her face. Her clothes of pure white and green displayed patterns alien to you.

Yes, this individual is a 'Xeno', no doubt about it. From the pointed ears, you'd guess 'Elder'.

A lasrifle's barrel is raised. The Xeno just sighs before she speaks up.

"Next, you're gonna say 'what is this Xenos witch doing here', right?"

Mercuria, still aiming her Lasrifle, speaks: "What is this Xenos witch doing here?! ...Huh?!?!?"

"What is your purpose here, Xenos woman? Has the unlikely become possible and you have noble intentions, or are you here for some treacherous purpose!?" You declare as you take a threatening combat stance.

"I swear, you Mon'keigh...what would I be here for? In a planet that's about to be wiped out? Oh, I've come to kill you because that's all we non-Mon'keigh do. Of course I'm here to save you, what else?! Your Golden Boy himself asked me to keep an eye on you."

"You make bold claims, Xenos witch." interjects Brahman, joining the conversation.

"You seem like our best chance at survival...Miss Macha." It feels odd, referring to a Xeno by name. But she was indeed your best chance. "What is it you have in mind?"

"Simple. We'll use my 「Weather Girls」 to get out of here My Stand can use a type of instantaneous teleportation. So...your friends in or what?"
>>
Look, I'm not one for trusting Xenos witches, but the planet we're on is facing an exterminatus, not only is the theorey that the Emprah contacter her plausible, since he *just* told us he can do that, but if we refuse, we're still stuck on a planet that's about to be wiped clean. If she does decide to betray us, we could have a chance to fight her off with 3 Stand users, which is a hellofa better chance han surviving exterminatus.

We're dead either way, we might as well play along and hope that she's telling the truth.

"If they don't come, I'm not going."

"JoJo.." you hear Mercuria whisper.

"You stick for your friends. I can respect that." said the Xeno identified as Macha.

"We'll go", Brahman intervenes. "I do not like the thought of consorting with the Xeno, but...Joachim must live at all costs!"

{ALIVE by SOUL'd Out starts playing}

"Good, I'm glad that it's all sorted out. You guys better hold hands now."

You do as instructed. You cannot help but notice Zola looking downtrodden.

The Stand places her dainty hand on your shoulder. And before you know it, you feel like you're being tossed forwards with incredible acceleration.

The sensation lasts only a second.

Before you know it, you are looking at the deep expanse of space. Your companions are still handing hands with you.

You notice that the Stand that touched your shoulder was here as well, but her coloring looks different...rather than Silver, she looks 'Bronze'.

Macha soon materializes behind you as well, with the silver Stand in tow.

Her Stand is made up of two humanoid females rather than a single entity, it seems.

"Mon'keigh...I welcome you to the Elder transport known as 'Isha's Embrace'"
