now i am goin to have to have the same argument for the 4th time. to all who have not been in the qtgs, this is what has happened.

i feel like i have been banging my head against a wall. for the past three days
we start an aophq conversation
fights about re typing
fights about going dark
fights about going fairy
we agree to stay water cause the others are OOC and shit and there's little to no synergy between Fairy/Ice and Dark/Ice, or Fairy/Water and Dark/Water. It severely cuts down on possibilities, messes with evolving our Seel, makes us less effective in a battlefield we've been training for by cutting off Water or cuts us off from Ice which is a type that we're already focusing on and is extremely useful offensively.

Yes, that's one aspect of ourselves that we have already solidified into our character. So from there, we can either choose to be the kind of character who cries out openly but has a strong inner spirit OR we could force ourselves to put up a strong face for the sake of our allies so that they don't have to feel that sort of fear (sorta like Kamina from TTGL).

There are probably lots of other ways to go with our character from that one trait, but my point is that we, as the players, have control over Ceru's character development.

The dinner is wonderful. The taste of the Farfetch'd is savory and seems to fall apart in your mouth upon each cut. The dreamy flavor of the leek adds a small amount of sweet bitterness to the roasts.
The pick of berries add their own flavors as well. The berry salads and juices taste dry while also splendidly sour with particular sweetness.
The spicyness of the sauce and gravy laid out adds to the mix.

Casual chatter around the table between the rockets seems drowned out by the silence of you, Bruise, and Goldenrod.
You can't quite catch anything they're talking about, and you're so enraptured by the dinner that your head is swimming.

This is the first meat you've had that wasn't fish.

You snap to attention, out of your dream-zone as a server fills your glass with juice.
"Ah, th-thank you." A tender smile finding its way across your lips at the gesture. It's weird but it's nice too.

"What happens to be your favorite flavor?" Giovanni asks you this, catching you by surprise as he brings you into the conversation.
"Uh, me? I um.. I guess I like how dry the juice tastes. It's a bit weird but it's really tasty." You smile modestly, as he nods.

Bruise mulls it over as he takes a bite out of a slice of roast slathered in gravy,"I rike 'is shtff. Nice and..." He swallows, gulping it down and licking the corners of his mouth adamantly," Spicy." He grins, digging in and stuffing his face some more.

Goldenrod rolls a berry around in among his salad," I.. I guess I like the sweetness of the berries. Sir." He smiles a bit timidly, intimidated by the presence of all the other people, yet that smile is just as giddy that he's on route to become one of them.

Kitty cackles, holding a fork at Bruise, her claws extending naturally from the tips of her strange fingers,"You've got that right kid! That's definitely the best part!" Her leery eyes look over to Giovanni a bit naughtily,"Sir, is there a reason you're asking them such a strange question?"

Giovanni simply shrugs as he draws more liquid from his glass," Oh, no reason at all. Of course this is an inconsequential question."

Dinner carries on as usual after that, and you begin to relax more. They all seem like fairly agreeable people, nothing to be afraid of here. Even if they do seem to carry their history with them.

Garrus, as a man of few words, crunches down idly on a sparse few things, avoiding the actual roast. Jamie eats nothing, sitting back and chatting with Jessica and Kittie.
Jackie seemed to have a little trouble with the tableware and finding her food, though she otherwise had it handled once her food was in front of her. Odd that someone like her would be on the rockets.

Dervish abstains from most of the conversation, though Nicolai seems to have a bit of rapport with Jackie as the two chat it up, with Jackie blushing now and then at his words.

After dinner comes to a close, the other Rockets dismiss themselves and other people come in to clean up the tables.
It's so strange to have others serving, waiting, and even cleaning up after you, it feels kind of good but still a bit wrong.

The only ones left within the room are Kitty and Giovanni along with the remainder of your team.

Checking the time via a black Index, Giovanni seems to grow more stern than before,"So, right from where we left off,only with full bellies." Giovanni closes his eyes as his mouth goes up in a small frown.

And if you'd like to visit Lavender to mourn properly, you are permitted to come tomorrow morning. It would do well for you to see off your lost friends." She seems almost regretful at that last bit.

"You'll be given credence to choose your next implant after that's done. You have a week before training to give your bodies optimal recovery."

"We are done here, follow me."

You touch your cheek, feeling a sting. As you pull your hand away, you notice blood, and tremble a bit. When did she... It's from where she traced you.
