And here we are. I keep expecting news that Onelisin or Leika has dropped dead, but they're hanging on.

This year, we want to sacrifice for the Battle Luck ritual, continue exploring Dragon Pass, prepare our ring members' various replacements, do ill to the Greydogs and Jenestni, try to balance our fields and pastures (again), and maybe feed nobles to Cragspider grinder so we can get a Trickster.

We should start with the sacrifice. Unless anyone has a different suggestion I'll go with that.

Speaking of, I'm going to be doing an event in March. It's the most fun you can have without a dump truck of illegal drugs delivered straight to your house, but it's a huge investment of time and energy. I'll have no time during the first two weeks of March, and be so drained at the end that I'll hate everything for a week after.

Battle Luck is good. Directly improves your chances of winning a given battle. Since we have no problems killing enemies more enemies than we take losses but still lose on occasion, we should have had this a while ago.

The Orlundi (our splinter clan) is in the midst of a drought. They appeal to us for aid in performing Orlanth and Aroka. Interestingly, Onelisin's advice is much different from anyone else's. Perhaps because she's a Vingan, and Vingans count as Orlanthi? Could also be that she's performed the heroquest so many times. More than ten at this point.

She suggests sacrificing nine cows.

We could. Problem is, most of the exploration treasures are found after a combat, so you need some thanes along to get the treasure. Since we want the nobles dead but the thanes alive, that becomes problematic.
