“Eh… that won’t work missy, any sniper worth his salt will try to change his position once he was found, Tohma, the best strategy is to counter snipe, just trust in me.” Isis is being serious about this and you feel that if she keeps calling Ein, Miss Green, you will lose a friend before the day ends.

Rushing towards the sniper who has had days to prepare traps and escape routes in an enclosed space is a bad idea, as is wantonly blasting towards central.

Which leaves our remaining choices with either scanning down the Sniper and prepare an ambush, or to bait them into coming to a battleground of our choosing.

The problem, as Corona stated, is we need bait for the first plan, and there are many, many buildings and windows to scan down for the second plan.

This person is clearly shooting down TSAB airships. If we can make something that looks like one and have it appear to land, we can see where the fire is being shot from by looking from a nearby skyscraper. Pinpoint him that way.

If it is about a Decoy Ship, Isis can fake one using Puffy... that thing has some crazy utility. But I will warn you that the Decoy won't work more than twice, if you abuse it too much the sniper will notice that something is up.

Also I will give you two options/ideas
First, you probably can try baiting the sniper by using the Silver Cross... if the Sniper is an EC Driver, s/he will be interested in you.
The Second, is that you can ask Miss Curren for help... you are paying her after all.

“Let’s go with Isis’s plan, this place will get nuked anyway so I don’t really care about collateral damage, the target is not exactly in central, so I am mostly sure we can avoid friendly fire.” This is probably the best way to handle this, you are not comfortable with trying to rush towards the sniper and fight in a battlefield it has prepared, and you are not sure what kind of bait you can use to draw him out.

“Right mate, so I will go work on the decoys, I need to prepare enough fuel for them,” Isis turns to Corona, “So girl, do you know where they store the chemicals here, I do not need anything too fancy, even normal cleaning supplies should be good enough.”

“Down the hall to the left, you should find one of the labs we used to test the participants, I think you will find what you need there.” Corona meekly points towards a point on a holomap of the stadium, the area is not far away.

“Right, well Tohma, I will go and prepare, I think you should take some time and rest, also make sure the others rest too, I will need them at 100% for what is too come.” Isis leaves the central offices quickly, leaving you with Eins, Vivio and Corona.

“Why? I won’t go away, so you can let me go.” You are feeling oddly jerky right now, like you really need to do something.
You know what it is… but you will never allow it to happen, not in front of her.

You won’t run away from her, at least not now. With a quick bow you take a cup of tea from the tray and seat in the chair that the pink haired girl suddenly materializes for you.

With a wave of her hand, a small table appears, and now you feel like if you were in a café with her, drinking tea like the two of you were friends.

How strange.

You two spend a few moments in silence before you start talking, “I must apologize, for last time, I think I killed you, right?” You don’t exactly remember what happened exactly, but you know that at least. This is the reason she hates you in the real world right?

Also it was either apologizing or confessing… and you felt that this one was the safest.

You explode in anger, but all she just tilts her head and asks, “Kill me, I think you are mistaken… but being honest, if someone should apologize, it should be me. Last time, you suffered because of me, I couldn’t control myself and for that reason I almost ended your life.”
She takes a moment to bow her head, “For that reason I must ask you to forgive me, Hero of the Silver Cross.” She is being sincere about this, and a part of you feels cheated.

You were totally expecting her to go and say something dramatic and cool… and then you would pull her cheeks and tease her. In your mind, everything had been planned perfectly. Chuuu, this was not fun.

Well the fastest method would be to take a sample of the EC Virus and introduce it into your body, Mr. Hero… from there you would be able to create a vaccine with the help of the Silver Cross. But I wouldn’t recommend it, Mr. Hero, this method is extremely dangerous, it would be like infecting yourself once again with the EC virus… there would be no guarantee that you would survive, or that you would be able to even control the infection.

Silver Cross or no, you should only consider this method only if you have no other choice, and it will work for only one viral-strain at the time.” A-tan pounds her hands on the coffee table, trying to drive her point home.

“Then can someone be infected by more than one strain of the EC Virus?”

“Yeah, I mean you are looking at one someone that has three strains of the EC… The Original Strain, your Zero-Strain (which saved me), the first variant strain, which mutated from Q-chan back in the day (most of the present EC drivers are based on Q-chan’s data). But it’s something extremely rare, so I do not expect for there to be more than one or two guys with more than one virus strain.

But that’s not important, let’s talk about the other method, you need to find the infection agent and devour it with the Silver Cross.”

“They can produce copies of the Silver Cross already? I guess he really has advanced too much… anyhow that not important right now, you only really need the data of the original virus that each copy Silver Cross carries, with it you can use your original book to make a suppressant to calm the infected.

This suppressant won’t cure the virus, but it should calm the mutations and constant viralizings a unstable infected suffers from and allow them to regain their sanity, with some luck you might be able to make the suppressants powerful enough to cause the virus to become dormant in their bodies, and make them mostly normal again.

At least until something causes the Virus to react inside them again.

I do not have to say that this won’t work on other EC Drivers, but you probably can also make suppressants that allow them to control their viral levels better, but I kinda doubt it.
