You are Gertrude Pool, Sophomore Class President and new commander of Lafayette Girls Academy’s revived Tankery Team.

After a neat little shower, you all sit around Nancy’s warmer-heater-coffee-table-japanese-blanket thingy. She’s set out pancakes and waffles for everyone, which you all inhale like oxygen.

“We’ve got a big day today!” says Nancy as she puts another stack of pancakes on your plate. You’re not complaining, god no. You start forking it into your mouth.

Lisa says, “Yep. Some of our tanks should be back in commission but otherwise, I think we’ll have time to do other things than the fundraiser today.”

“Great!” you say. “I like getting things done!” You look over at Kitten, who idly plays around on her DS. “I said I like getting things done.”

“I heard you,” said Kitten. “The deaf could hear you.”

The snow’s melting at least, that means it’s much warmer today. Still a bit chilly though, and it’s definitely a good thing you didn’t go for the carwash idea.

Boy, you feel sorry for the girls back home who do go for the carwash idea at this time of the year. They’re liable to turn into Frosty the Snowman.

Regardless, on the way there, you decide to study up a little.

Seems like you can’t learn much else from Pravda. Their line up is more or less a balanced force. Nothing too bad about it, but nothing too world shattering about it either. It’s that Russian boring-but-practical spirit you see. That’s going to make them a bit tough in a straight on fight.

Nancy says, “So I was talking to one of the exchange students a few days back.”

“Really?” you ask.

“Mhm!” Nancy giggles a bit. “Izumi has the cutest little nickname! They call her San-chan! Apparently she really hates it though.”

“I’d hate it if people called attention to my stupid name,” says Lisa.

Kitten nods. “Yeah, me too.”

You all look over at Ramirez, giggling. Ramirez says, “What?”

You grin ear to ear, saying, “Oh, nothing, Chrysanthemum.” Ramirez quickly gives you the finger in response. You all laugh a bit at that.

Next though is a phone call.

“Hello, Gertrude!” Mr. Mishka picks up with gusto.

“Hey, Mr. Mishka, how are the tanks coming along?”

“Well, I’m having Huxley and Benita working best they can. So far, Cupid, Hobbes, and Earl are in good running condition. The Sturmpanzer and the T-34 are good too. We’re working on Chuck and Ross right now, should be ready soon.”

“Alright, I’ll get to work on that. Should be ready tomorrow or the day after, depending on when it’s back from the fundraiser.”

“Alright, thanks.”

“No, thank you!”

With that, you hang up. Nancy told you that she had the Naval Studies Engineering crew deliver the tanks in the wee hours of the morning, along with some of the other crews building banners and other useful materials for the fundraiser. Should be a total hoot.

You arrive there to a huge crowd of Freshmen.

Oh boy.

Lisa grins, clapping her hands. “Hello! If you’re for the Raffle, just follow me!” They all excitedly follow Lisa over to a desk where the Animation Club have already assembled. All of your crews appear to have arrived today. The tanks, your Sherman, the Churchill, the Tiger II, the Sturmpanzer, and the T-34/57 have been assembled in the parking lot with their respective crews.

“Hey, Kitten.” She looks up from her DS. “You not going to participate in the Raffle?”

She laughs a bit. “I already have you 24/7 for free.”

Well, you ain’t going to argue with that.

“Oi.” You look over to see-

Well, if it isn’t Pinkerton and O’Bannon. They have their arms crossed.

“Huh,” you say. “You guys here to impose a free speech zone or something?”

“Nah, nah,” says Pinkerton. “We’re here to…” She pauses a bit, waving her hands a bit to find the right. “To apologize.” She looks over at O’Bannon, who is looking away. She nudges her in the elbow.

“Aye,” says O’Bannon. “Apologize.”

“For what?” you ask.

“Everything,” says Pinkerton. “Boy, if we had known Fredendall was a fucking lunatic, we probably wouldn’t have done that shit.”

You cross your arms, looking at them skeptical.

You cross your arms, looking down at the hand. “I should say no.”

Pinkerton says, “You could.”

“Have you two stopped taking bribes, have you tried doing your jobs as Hall Monitors?” you ask.

Pinkerton and O’Bannon look at each other briefly, then she says, “We considered just dropping ourselves as Hall Monitors altogether. I don’t think a lot of students would forgive us still doing the job after all we did.”

You sigh, then shake her hand. “Apology accepted-“ you wag your finger at her. “As long as you turn this new leaf.”

Pinkerton and O’Bannon nod. “Aye,” says O’Bannon. “We’ll do what we can.”

With that, Pinkerton and O’Bannon leave you. You look over to see the Engineering team setting up a huge screen TV by the Sturmpanzer IV.

You blink as they walk away. Did they just use you as a gambling-predictor-thingy? Damn it. Oh well, you’re sure Anzio has it. What kind of team is Konigsberg anyway? Probably just a bunch of obsolete light tanks and stuff that like to dig themselves in.

With that, you arrive back at your Sherman as the highlights start playing. “Alright!” yells Lisa through a loudspeaker. “Can I get everyone’s attention?” The huge crowd of students has assembled and awaits diligently for the raffle. “Right! You drop a nice bag of sweets which include patch kids, skittles, sour strips, gumballs, gummy worms, gummy bears, chocolates, rock candy, twizzlers, nerds, nerds ropes, and hard candies that you don’t recognize. The surprised shopkeep says, “That’s a dollar per pound, so three dollars.”

Sweet.

Katyusha drops her bag, which buries the scale in its sheer mass. “How much?”

The shopkeep bites his lip. “Um… we don’t allow people to take that much candy-“

“Katyusha will pay in cash!”

After settling the payment, you and Katyusha riding on Nonna’s shoulder walk out. Katyusha happily starts slurping up gummy worms by the second. You say to Nonna, “So, is Katyusha like this all the time?”

Nonna’s accent you find is even thicker than Katyusha’s. “Katyusha is what you say a bit of a child.”

“Nonna!” Katysuha gently slaps Nonna on the forehead. “Katyusha’s perfectly healthy!”

“Well…” You haven’t actually seen Katyusha off Nonna’s shoulders yet. “How old are you?”

“I turn 17 this year!” she says.

Wait what yooooooo

> Find a place to eat Lunch

There’s only one place to get a good American dish.

“Welcome to McDonalds!” says cashier. “Can I take your order?”

You say, “I’ll have the large fries with a double cheeseburger.”

Katyusha scratches her chin, deep in thought. “Mhm… this food is from America? Hm… give me the biggest burger you can cook! The Big Mac!”

“Are you sure you can finish that?” says Nonna.

“Nonna!” Katyusha crosses her arms, still sitting atop Nonna’s shoulders. “The Big Mac then! With an order of large fries and a large soda!” She also points down the menu. “And an ice cream cone!”

… this is the threateningly competent commander of Pravda.

Regardless, you get your meals and walk out of McDonalds, deciding to take it on the go. Why?

“… and he really fought in the Great Patriotic War?” says Katyusha. Even Nonna looks amazed.

You nod. “True story.”

Katyusha gasps, then says, “You are so lucky to have such a hero of the CCCP with you!”

You say, “He’s been a real hero for us right now, working on our tanks. You see, recently we had a fire which kind of damaged them, almost put some out of commission. But he and his assistants have been working around the clock to get them working in time for our match with you.”

Katyusha smiles. “Ha! A true hero then!”

You walk inside the Warehouse of Mr. Mishka’s tank shop, where your tanks now are being repaired by Huxley alone, with Mr. Mishka overseeing. “Hey, Mr. Mishka!” you say. He turns to you and walks up to you, smiling.

“Gertrude!” he says. “Lovely to see you!” He looks over at the Pravda girls, who look like they’re meeting Leonardo DiCaprio or the Russo-Japanese equivalent. “Who are your friends?”

You say, “This is Katyusha and Nonna, from Pravda. Team Commanders.”

“Ah, I’ve heard of you, fine team you two have put together!” he says. He offers his hand, to which Katyusha shakes it violently, squealing with excitement.

“He’s heard of Katyusha!” she says dreamily.

“Ha! Well, I heard a lot of Katyushas in the day.” he says jokingly.

“Noooooo!” Katyuha reaches out for Mr. Mishka as Nonna turns towards the door.

Mr. Mishka laughs. “I must be all the rage with women these days! You can call me later, Katyusha!”

With that, you exit the warehouse and head on back to the fundraiser, where people are actually still hanging around thanks to the power of tanks. The Match with Anzio vs. Konigsberg is on and people have gathered around with their lunches and friends to watch it.

“Hello!” says Juliette and the Girl Scouts. “We are the Girl Scouts of Lafayette Girls Academy!” She offered a box of thin mints to Katyusha. “Here you go little girl, free samples!”

“Uwaaah!” Katyusha shook her fists. “I’m not little!” Nonna took a box and opened it up, tasting a cookie. Her widened eyes and quick chewing must indicate that she finds it delicious. Katyusha reached in and bit into one as well, quickly shoveling out more for herself.

Girl Scout cookies, not even once.

“Well, Kaye, Maho, and Darjeeling order them. You can ask them.”

“Nonna, have Nina order as many as possible when we get back to our ship!” she says.

Nonna nods, setting Katyusha down on the ground. “Yes, I know.”

You cross your arms, smiling at them. “Besides that, having fun on LGA?’

“Mhm!” Katyusha nods. Jesus, she’s smaller than Kitten and O’Hara for Christ’s sake. Lord knows, Kitten has it hard enough. You can’t imagine being this small. “This American school is lively and fun like Vladivostok!”

You nod. You don’t know what that is. “I’m glad.”

Nonna says, “I am very much enjoying the music that is being played as here.”

Nonna says, “Cute dress.”

“Done and done!” says Mamie. They quickly take Katyusha to the side and start the measurements and groping.

“Ow! Hey! Katyusha is growing there! Stop that!”

You and Nonna stand to the side as a dress is quickly ironed out in a matter of minutes. Soon, Katyusha is standing a pink frilly dressed, being babied and cutsytalked by the Sewing Club. Even Nonna looks impressed.

You look over at Nonna as the Sewing Club continues to baby Katyusha. “So, is Pravda a good school, Nonna?”

Nonna says, “It is a joint effort between the glorious Russian state and the Japanese government. Thusly, we receive quite a number of Russian students alongside Japanese ones. Our classes are actually quite strict but it breeds a good type of people. People like Katyusha for instance.”

You look over at Katyusha.

“Ah!” She shakes her fists in the air, bouncing in place. “Katyusha is not cute, stop it!”

“She’s so cute!” says Bess.

You nod. “I see.”

Nonna says, “Beyond that, our Tankery program, as you might expect is an integral part of our curriculum. Most of our Seniors have already graduated which leaves me, Katyusha, and a select few as the veterans but we are still in the tournament now.” She asks you, “What about you, how is LGA and its Tankery program?”

US Academyships fall under the Department of Education's authority. However, they raise most funding through independent sources or through government grants (Christie is funded prominently by the Big Three car mfg.s of the US.)

> Boast – “The best thing since canned bread.”

“Oh, LGA is the best thing since canned bread, apple pie, baseball, and Freedom. We’ve got competent professors, good clubs, and our Tankery program is dedicated. Mind you, we are new but we certainly are enthusiastic about it.”

Nonna nods. “That is admirable.”

“You think so?” you say. “Honestly, we revived the program this year.”

“Hm.” Nonna scratches her chin. “Interesting. You’ve come very far for only a few months. A lot of crews, almost twenty tanks total too.”

You say, “We’ve been working hard.”

“I see,” says Nonna. She looks over at Katyusha.

Or, rather where Katyusha would be.

Oh boy, where did she go. You both look around to see Katyusha tugging on Fairless’ blazer.

“Nonna! Katyusha has been violated!” Fairless turns around, looking down at her. Katyusha screams, falling to the ground. “Aaah! Yo- You are not Nonna!”

Fairless blinks. “Huh?”

Nonna runs over, glaring right at Fairless. Fairless glared right back at her.

You stand by the side as Fairless and Nonna glare at each other. Katyusha stands next to you, pointing at Fairless. “Who is that terrifying witch?”

You say, “That’s Senior Vice President and de facto Council President Bernadette Francine Fairless.”

Fairless crosses her arms, her glare hitting Nonna like a freight train. Nonna glared back like a steel wall. Boy, if you had ever met the unstoppable force versus the immovable object, this has to be it.

Lisa slides in next to you. “Is the world going to burst into flames or something?”

“I don’t know,” you say. You quickly snap a picture of it on your phone.

The two stare at each other for a few more minutes, crossing their arms, wrinkling their noses, squinting their eyes, all the motions.

Then Fairless offers her hand, still glaring at Nonna. “Bernadette Fairless.”

Nonna shakes it politely, also glaring. “Nonna.”

“How did they win?”

Dory says, “How didn’t they win? They brought out King Tigers and Tigers to fight. Anzio ended up getting wrecked the minute the match started. They even tried using their tankettes as battering rams.”

“That was funny!” says Slade. “They even failed at that, they knocked themselves out as soon as they hit.”

Fairless nods. “Yep, it was a real curbstomp honestly speaking. No amount of tactics could have saved Anzio.”

Eh, that’s a shame. You look over at Katyusha and Nonna. “Well, I suppose I should tell you guys good luck in the match.”

“Oh?” says Katyusha. “More like you need good luck against the Swirling Snow and the Blizzard!” Nonna picks her up and sets her on her shoulders. Katyusha says, “We will most definitely defeat you, American!”

Slade leans over and whispers in your ears. “What’s with the communist?”

Regardless, the fundraiser ends. Students start heading home, excited for the match now. Darius walks over to you. “Hello, Gertrude! Gotta say, you’ve boosted my sales today. Even brought me some potential repeat customers!”

You nod, smiling. “Well, thanks, Darius.”

“Of course, anyway.” He spots you check. “Here’s your first five-thousand dollars from me. Every Monday.”

“So, Lisa. How much cash are we hauling in?”

Lisa calculates everything up. “Well… Mhm. Plus the Five-thousand today from Darius… and then…”

She rings up the calculator. “Thirty Thousand Dollars in total.”

> + 30,000 DOLLARS

“Neat!” You pat Lisa on the shoulder, smiling. “That’ll get us somewhere.”

Lisa laughs a bit. “Remember when 30,000 Dollars was a big deal?”

“Yeah,” you say. “But this is now. We’ve got constant cash flow now.”

Nonna walks up to you, carrying Katyusha. “Anyway, American! Katyusha will take her leave back to the glorious Academyship of Pravda.”

“So soon?” you ask.

Nonna says, “Dasvidaniya.”

Everyone talks and chatters excitedly, a far cry from two days ago when the HQ had burnt down.

Kitten says, “Boy, wasn’t expecting Pravda to show up, were you?”

“Nah,” you say. “Still, they seem nice. A bit weird but nice!”

Nancy nods. “I agree! They certainly seem like good friends, Nonna and Katyusha!”

“So did you guys kiss?” asks Lisa. You roll your eyes at that.

Lisa nods. “That cost extra.”

“Mhm!” says Nancy. “And then we got to watch the match too. It was a bit anti-climatic I must admit, but it was all in good fun as well.”

“I hope people weren’t disappointed that they didn’t get to go on a date with me,” you say.

“Hey, Gertrude!” says Kaye. “What’s up?”

We got two training sessions left before facing Pravda.
Otto instructing Team Needlepoint and Minie are of the utmost importance.

You throw the covers off her. “This!” you yell. You finger at her sides, eliciting laughs from her as she buckles and arches her back.

“AHAHAHA! NO!”

“Say it! Say that table is a shit!”

“NEVER!” she laughs harder as you dig under her shirt, damn near pressing your self against. “AHAHAHAHA! NO! STOP! NEVER!”

“Fine,” you straddle her, lifting her shirt up to reveal her belly. “I’m going for the big guns.”

“What?” She looks at you, giggling. “What are you-“

“PFFBBBT!”

“AHAHAHA! NONONO!”

“PFFBBBBBFFFT!”

“STOPSTOP!” You continue blowing raspberries into Kitten’s bellybutton. “OKAY! THE TABLE A SHIT! IT’S A SHIT! PLEASE!”

You lie on top of Kitten, grinning at her as she calms down, red in the face and panting. “Hmph. Was that so hard to admit?”

Kitten sighs. “Yes.”

“Ah, good night, Kitten.”

“Night, Trudy.”

> Can teach crews better efficiency in case of undermanned tanks along with improving their initiative on the battlefield. Cannot teach tactical maneuvers. + 1 CP per session.

Now I suppose there'll be an argument about what constitutes as an undermanned tank in this case.
If it's the case of supposedly 5 man tanks being short 1 person, then the problem is more serious than we thought.

Apologies for imposing on you, Schteel, but I think your arbitration is required for this relevant tidbit.

Is it the person having an increased workload that constitutes as an undemanned tank (even if it's already a 3 person capacity tank)?
Or does it only apply to tanks with a capacity for 4-5 persons being short of 1 crewmember that benefit from Otto's training?
>>
>>32072972

Thanks. I figure less arguements on what we've studied that way.
>>
>>32073079
It applies to both. The optimal crew is five people for each position in the tank.

Even if the tank can only fit three people, the crew is still strained with having to juggle roles.

The same with undermanned crews who are three man crews working five man crew tanks.
>>
>>32073135
Thank you for clearing that up.

I guess I can rest my case and only hope that this'll contribute to a better informed decision making process in the future.
>>
>>32072898
For some reason that doesn't come off as gay to me though. It's two friends tickling each other, I used to do to that too,
>>
>>32073135
German quick question, the rebuilding of the HQ will only take the insurance right? or do we have to spend money as well?
>>
>>32073298
are you a guy and was your friend a guy if the answer is yes then you are gay
>>
>>32073298

>>
>>32073329
Just the insurance.
>>
>>32073357
I was drinking two days ago and me and someone else ended up tickling eachother half-naked. It didn't feel gay.
Then again we aren't guys and it seems to be a guy thing.
>>

>>32073357
Yes, and no?

Still didn't come off as gay to me though.
>>
>>32073373
So guys should we give up the insurance money to rebuild the HQ?

Or do we use it to put into our tanks.

Also German, will it have improved anti fire/disaster prevention?
>>
>>32073444
Are you non-cis?
>>
>>32073517

Obviously the HQ.

We need a place to store the tanks away from the elements.
>>
>>32073517
After what happened, most likely.
>>
>>32073542
No, I'm into guys. I'm not saying Trudey is straight though, she is pretty clearly gay.
>>

Well that's just my opinion
>>
>>32073710

They're gay for each other at least.

Schteel's said as much before.
>>
>>32073830
That's another thing, I heard all this before and I tried looking it up but never once have I heard German say that and I've been during after threads
>>
>>32073820
>I've seen or heard worse in stories
Alright, admittedly this is a story too but as far as reality goes if two girls blow on each-others stomachs in bed it's probably gay.
>>
>>32073820
It's not like it's the most hetero thing anyone's ever done, but it's really...not all that gay?

I mean, we consider it gay, but there's nothing romantic about it which would suggest that it's fullest homo.

It's just some girls who are really, really comfortable with each other.
>>
>>32073773
Eh, not necessarily. It looks gay to any outsider for sure, but what matters is the intent. They just fool around like friends, there's nothing sexy or romantic about it for them from what I can see.

>>32073830
Not quite. I'm paraphrasing but it was more like:
"I'm straight, but I'd maybe be gay if it's Kitten."

IIRC it was never spelled out clearly if she were serious.
>>
>>32073933
I try not to extend the reality and this story too much if I can help it.

I just want to enjoy tanks and girls sometimes doing cute things. Sexuality wars and shipping wars deteriorate from it and get rather frustrating when you want to enjoy the aspects you enjoy.
>>
ITT:
>>
>>32073954
I think that was from the pastebin not the actual story
>>
>>32073946
That's exactly what I mean, It doesn't feel gay to me and for others it does?

I guess it's a difference of option.
>>
>>32074011
Everyone draws the line somewhere differently. If it were me, I'd say it was gay. Never had a friend like Kitten though.
>>
If anyone is still here.

I have a proposal. I think we should use our vacation days to repair the tanks. And after school, we should finish the Ace and Freshman loyalty quest before Pravda or Anzio if possible
>>
>>32074240
We don't need to use vaycay days to fix the tanks.

Everything's basically on schedule. be cool.
>>
>>32074240
That is a good idea. You have my vote. Assuming I'm here next weekend, I'll lend my voice to the project. Though, my preference is getting the Loyalty Quests done.
>>
>>32074240
The repairs and any upgrades we want will be done as it is. No need to to waste a vacation day.
>>
>>32074298
>>32074334
He said by tuesday or wendsday.

We only have 8 tanks repaired so far our of 16 as we know.

Mr. Miksha also said if we worked diligently we can finish by tuesday so by then we can have them ready for practice;
>>
>>32074334

Frankly I dont see us using the days very often.

We might as well spend one to help on repairs to make sure they'll be ready.
>>
How long should we hold off the purchase of the last or last two tanks?

We have a handful of weeks left for the 20 v 20 and with the week long delivery delay, its even shorter. We'll also be depriving that tank's designated team practice time in their ride.
>>
>>32074405
>>32074500
Reconsidering, with the election out of the way and no danger to our academics right now, I think it would be good to use a vacation day.

Sure, you have my support next week. We have a lot to do still.
>>
>>32074573
Their is nothing in interest in the shop, and we're settling for the Pershing or Challenger and the Crusader or T-70 for now.

We'll probably do it soon though
>>
>>32074637

I'm just saying that we're basically playing a roulette to see if we're lucky to get the tanks we want in the shop now. At best we have 2 trys before we have to settle for a tank out of the available ones for sale in the shop and what if all of them on that week are ship?

I'm looking for some sort of insurance so that we can afford to wait for the right tank to appear.
>>
>>32074688
We already have an idea of what we want and where to get it, if it shows up in the shop, we'll buy it. if not we'll consider going to a friend to buy one.
>>
>>32074637
What exactly is appealing about the T-70? Why does anybody want one? I can't figure it out.
>>
>>32074749

Ok, and what if on the off chance, the friends we ask from do not have the tanks we want or do not wish to sell the tanks?
>>
>>32074769
It's only one or two anons shilling for the T-70. The volume of spam isn't representative.

>>32074782
Then we're fucked. Anonymous couldn't plan a birthday party.
>>
>>32074769
>>32074834
I'm saying it as an option, I'm leaning more towards the crusader anyway. It's more of a matter of what we fine.

>>32074782
Then we asked other academyships, They have the tanks we want and frankly Perrine probably has the tanks we're looking for, so no worries
>>
>>32074688
If we want insurance I guess we could order the T-34 chassis.

It's barely 10k, decent enough and if we can keep it as a spare tank when we send the S35 to Perrine for upgrading.
>>
>>32074886
It's a chassis and won't be there in time for the conversion, also the Chi-Ha is our spare tank right now.
>>
>>32074874
Crusader's a peice of shit too.

We don't need more early war tanks.

We need more high performing, late war tanks. Jesus.

>>32074886
That's the most reasonable thing said so far. I still hate it, but I'm willing to accept it just so I don't have to deal with a Crusader.
>>
>>32074907
it only takes a day to get converted, and it comes with some sweet upgrades pre-installed.
>>
>>32074908
I'm mostly aiming specifically for the Junior Team,

I hate 3 man crew but we use what we can.
>>
>>32074907
It's not meant to be in time for conversion.

This is prep for the 20 v 20s so we can wait out the tank roulette.
>>
>>32074874
The Crusader isn't very good either. I get why people don't want another T-34/57, but it's just plain better for our purposes.

The quest is almost 2/3s done, I really wish we could drop the "Every tank needs to be unique!" idea.
>>
>>32074933
>>32074947
So what are we going to convert it into another T-34/57?
>>
>>32074944

Worse come to worst, we could use another T-34/57

The idea of stuffing the Jap crew in it still amuses me though.
>>
>>32074971

I was honestly thinking of getting it to the T-34/85 config.

Then we can put the Combined Japanese Crew into it as all our other tanks will favour a particular team's specialty over another.
>>
>>32074969
I rather not get another T-34/57, I'm willing to go for a T-34/85 since we can get the 1944 or 1945 variants.
>>32074978

We're giving them either the Cromwell or the Chaffee, no need to stuff them into a 4 man tank when we have 5 man tanks.
>>
>>32075004
What about the Junior team, reason I was aiming for a Crusader or a T-70 was because of the Junior team.
>>
>>32075033

Oh no. The 57 idea was if we needed a tank for the junior council. If we're giving it to the japs, we can give it to them in the 85 variant.
>>
>>32074969
We kind of dropped that idea when we are aiming for another Panther.

Also not all the teams have high spec late war tanks and so far, we have done really well for ourselves. the weakest armament is the 47mm from the Somua but we're replacing it with a
6 pounder making the weakest armament is the 75mm from the Chaffee.
>>
>>32075095
An interesting idea? But again, I'm still considering the Junior council.

I'm still hoping for a Pershing or Challenger
>>
>>32075096
Seems like our general way of doing things is basically being sure our guns can penetrate. I would fear concentrated fire from the LGA team.
>>
>>32075127

Hopefully we can obtain it I guess.

Still I'd suggest buying the chassis to ward off the worst case scenario.
>>
>>32075128
Seems that way, One of the reasons I'm supporting the Crusader since it sports a 6 pounder.I tried looking for other alternatives and the only ones I found was the Valentine and the Archer tank destroyer
>>
>>32075151
We can buy the pershing off ace or perrine.
>>
>>32075004
It's thematic, but it really isn't a big enough reason to discount putting the experienced Japs in any other tank.

The T-34 would be the best tank for Junior Council. I'd prefer not having to settle for a Crusader when we don't need to.
>>
>>32075096

And the chaffee is due to be upgunned to the m36 jackson and its m3 90mm... haha.
>>
>>32075226
That's the Sherman, the Chaffee is the light tank.

>>32075217
Why not a Valentine or Archer Tank Destroyer then?
>>
>>32075250
Because they're bad tanks. I thought we discussed this before.
>>
>>32075217

Otherwise the jap crew would do well in the second panther I guess.

Its just Maho's words keep coming back. That the designated commander of the team is from kuromine and believes in german tank invincibility. Im wondering if it will be a liability.
>>
>>32075265
What about the Jadpanzer IV?

I just don't want another T-34/57 since we can't get the 1944 or 1945 model
>>
>>32075266
The commander is from BFP, right? The Maus? The Panther isn't a bad idea for them.
>>
>>32075281
Be that as it is, the 57 is still better then it's alternatives. Are you sure you're just not against it because we'd have two pairs of identical tanks?

As for the Jagdpanzer, I'm not so anally against a casemate as some others here, but I understand why it's not ideal for us.
>>
>>32075281

Not really a good idea though.

Its not like we dont have guns that can easily penetrate our opponent's tank.
>>
Everyone who's shilling the 34-57 needs to understand the 57mm was a stopgap gun never intended to serve beyond a year or two.

Penetration values aren't the only thing that matters. I wish you WoT kids would stop preaching like it was.

The 85mm Zis gun will penetrate more things, more reliable, in addition to throwing a bigger HE charge when necessary.

Not to mention it'll be more consistent over a wider range of distances.
>>
>>32075335
Partially, however mostly I keep hearing the superiority of the T-34, and the model it can upgrade to are also limited since it's a 57 model and having a three man crew.

I honesty don't want it if we're not getting the 85mm model but trying to figure out what to give the Junior Council.

I'm trying to find tanks that will suit it and seemingly the main requirement for our lineup is armaments that can pierce mid to late war tanks, the Crusader seems ideal since no one wants a Bt-7, a T-70, a valentine or a archer tank.
>>
>>32075381

You're barking up the wrong tree.

Alot of us are in favour of the type 85. Just that if we dont find a tank for the junior 3 man team, the type 57 is probably one of the better tanks we can get them in.
>>
>>32075435
I'm still advocating the Crusader if we can find one with a six pounder.
>>
>>32075425
Bro, do you even know what a Crusader is?

It's an early war light-medium tank that fought mostly in North Africa against P3s and very early (F1 and prior) Panzer 4s.

>>32075435
Or we just katamari them with some other girls. Senior and Junior councils can play nice together. Call it Team Red Tape.

>>

I wouldn't be against it

Five on the inside and two on the outside with LAWs.

Or, for realsies, we grab the one passable chick from the anime club.

2 teams of 4 in a tank that isn't (less) balls.
>>
>>32075478

Still a big if.

Glorianna has only 10 (in comparison to churchills of which they have like 50) and I'd bet that most if not all are being used by their own tank crew teams.
>>
>>32075526
Yes, and they got their shit rocked by the F2s and models that followed.

I'm still rock solid on a T-44 or a T-54.
>>
>>32075499
T29 has a crew of 6.
I don't know why we can't just throw them into undermanned tanks.
>>
>>32075425
>>32075478
The 6pdr is decent enough, we have plenty of guns that can take on late war tanks and nobody fields JUST late war tanks. The thing is, the 57mm isn't too different and it comes on top of a better vehicle.

The Crusader isn't the worst we could do, but it isn't the best either.
>>
>>32075578

Because that will make the eliting calculations all sorts of fuck.

(Dont kill me with the calcs)
>>
>>32075550
I can support a T-44.

The T-54 is a big if.

>>32075542

St.Glorriann like a good part of the japanese teams are a gimmick team, So we have some leeway, but with that said getting a T-44 doesn't sound like a bad idea or that IS-1 that one Anon kept advocating
>>
>>32075578
We can. Octavia lets a team of 3 act like a team of 4, etc.
>>
>>32075578
That is a crew of 4 and is not a really good tank.
>>
>>32075607

Whats the big difference between the 34 and 44A?
>>
>>32075662
85mm gun with a crew of 4.
>>
>>32075671
Better armour too, right?

Also seemed to have a few mechanical problems, but they shouldn't be an issue in this quest after Comp Spec'd.

We have the money coming in, why not pursue a T-44 if we can?
>>
>>32075750

Assuming we can find one.

Kursk and pravda dont even have them and they're the premier russian tank academy ships.
>>
So we're definitely buying the T-34 chassis? Turning it into a 57 for Junior Council or what?

>>32075779
Of course.
