You are Sireyi Valyenya, 18 years old, you are on your first quest.

You have retrieved the Horn of Alzurad: a legendary artefact that can call dead heroes back to fight for the holder of the Horn. But now you’re lost on another plane, trying to find your way home.

You have arrived in the city of Arrowgate but have been pulled aside by a customs guard.

As he leads you away from the line of travellers waiting to be allowed into the city you approach a half-dozen large guards in red armour, they have shortswords sheathed on their belts and are all carrying long metal tubes fitted with crossbow stocks, some sort of weapon you reason. But you see no crossbow arms to launch whatever bolts they throw.
As you approach the guards they watch you with the same lazy gaze they give everyone else, as if you’re of no interest whatsoever, until you do something they can punish you for.

Your escort obviously knows them, he nods as you approach and a couple of them nod back to him.

You walk past the guards unmolested and through several corridors. Eventually you are led to a road with several...carriages without horses pulling them. One approaches you and the driver steps down off the front of the carriage and opens the door. The carriage bears a coat of arms that looks like a black lily of some kind.

“Milady” says the driver, tipping his ornate hat.

My apologies for not running a game on Wednesday: Tuesday evening I was asked to come into work on my day off. I apologise to anyone who was waiting around for me.

I’m a little sleep-deprived today, so if this quest isn’t up to usual standards, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. If I disappear for 30-40 minutes it’s because I’m taking getting my beauty sleep (and girl, do I need all the beauty sleep I can get).

Questions and Answers
Our Halo applies a malus to evil creatures, and demons always detect as evil.
It also applies a bonus to all allies.
How does it behave in regards to demon or part-demon allies?
- It provides a bonus, not a penalty, to half-demon allies

Can we choose lower levels of Aspect of the Dragon to turn into?
I.E. If we had L2 AotD, could we use the L1 transformation?
- Yes

When you say, 'or a combination of both' in the AotD transformation description, does that only apply to the wings or would we go full fluff-dragon?
- The wings only

If we got Permanent Sanctuary, could we turn it off completely or suppress it to the point of it not giving us away?
- Yes, you can suppress or resume it at will

Requesting a WorldBin update with a seperate section for this new world.
- Done

Requesting a segment on Perils of the Arcane in the Rules pastebin.
To clarify, I'm aware of how wild magic tends to work and not asking for a detailed list of results; I'm requesting a brief segment explaining what it is and what can cause it to activate.
And maybe a few humorous examples of effects it could have.
- Done

Requesting that Whispering Wind be added to L1 spell list as an N spell and purchased immediately with that one NL1 purchase point we have left.

Question: I browse Quest Thread General from time to time, when this quest gets bought up one of the main criticisms is that this quest is too easy on the players, with no severe consequences for bad choices or rolls. As players, what is your view, and what would you want to see changed in this regard?
Possible changes for example: Don’t hint at which choices are bad; bad choices/rolls result in (temporary) bad ends; bad choices/rolls result in failed quests/plots; bad choices/rolls result in dead party members, etc.
[End Metagame Post]

On with the quest.

>Don't hint which choices are bad
Don't do this ever, not hinting that certain choices are bad is a terrible idea; we evidently miss the hints anyway, if how we handled the sorcerer was actually a trap.
The second already happens, as evidenced by the whole near-slavery thing.
The third should take a series of bad decisions and/or rolls, and I thought it would be happening anyway if we fucked up badly enough.
Making the last one happen due to rolls would be just about the worst possible thing to do; I wouldn't want it to happen due to any one decision either.

TL;DR, you've been doing a fine job, don't let that place and the things it says influence you much, if at all.

Also, I have no real desire to spend that XP on anything, we could finish off Sorc R3, but can't afford any spells so there's no reason to get it.

With a look at your companions you decide to get in the carriage “Lead on” you say.

You get in the carriage and are taken through the streets of Arrowgate to the Hotel. Its midday and the city streets are packed with people. All manner of strange folk rub shoulders here, demon-bloods are the most common, more than a few dragon-bloods, orcs, half-orcs, beastmen, minotaurs, centaurs and others. Very few humans or near-humans can be seen. The see opulent wealth, only a few streets away from abject poverty, the rich and the poor living side by side, though the divide is obvious. Vast buildings loom in the distance, some with large chimneys spewing smoke into the air.

Wherever you go the air tastes faintly of ash. Sofia covers her mouth and starts coughing, Jal hands her a silk handkerchief, Sofia gratefully clutches it to her mouth.

You arrive at an impressive looking building and are dropped off at the main entrance, your driver leads you inside to the reception desk and has a quiet conversation with the young demon-blood at the desk. She gives you a big professional smile and says “Lady Victoria Sammi, welcome to the Dark Lily, Arrowgates top hotel.”

Looking around you can see other guests relaxing on expensive-looking chairs, drinking and chatting. There seems to be an awful lot of mixed race couples here.

The young girl continues “The Honeymoon Suite has been paid for you already, two weeks up front. I’ll ask one of the porters to take your bags up, would you like any refreshments delivered to your room?”

>Go up to room
>Order some room service

“Is the room service complimentary?” you ask, wary of hidden costs.
“Oh yes” she assures you.

“What is the Dark Lily?” you ask, “And where did the insignia come from?”

She perks up a bit and delivers an answer that sounds like it comes from an advertising poster “The Dark Lily is a hotel of quality for those of means who want to have some time away from the judgements of society. The symbol of the Dark Lily was once used by young men and women on notes to secret lovers. We pride ourselves on protecting the privacy of all of our clientele.”

“And the Honeymoon Suite?” you ask, somewhat suspicious.

“I one of our finest suites on the top floor” she says, her cheeks go a deeper red but she pushes on “It has specially reinforced walls, floor and ceiling to ensure little to no sound escapes, and has excellent wards against scrying – for the privacy and safety of our clients!” she insists

“Who paid for all of this?” This sounded expensive

“Our privacy policy prevents me from disclosing the names of any of our clientele” she says apologetically “Perhaps you have an admirer?”

With nothing else to ask you all follow the porter to the top floor. And just in time too, Jal is coming down with an attack of giggles.

You are shown into an extravagant suite of rooms, fine furniture, decorations, enough rooms for a dozen servants, a sitting room, a dining room, a reception room, and a master bedroom with a number of unusual pieces of furniture and some...items laid out that you need to lock away in a cupboard before Jal sees them, or you’ll never hear the end of it.

They certainly have a different attitude to certain things in the Empire of Drache.

After showing you and Gendric the master bedroom, the porter leaves. In this room you can barely hear outside noises and the air within is clean and pure, Sofia lowers her handkerchief with a sigh of relief “What now?” she asks

You find no traps, or spyholes or anything else suspicious.

Detect Magic: Entire room emits a magical aura, several in fact.

Arcane Sight: The room has a strong ward against scrying - though not as powerful as advertised; the door locks magically; the room is protected by an alarm spell if anyone breaks in, or beats the scrying spell; the room has a second alarm spell that is activated if anyone in the room is badly hurt or sick.
Both alarm spells are inaudible, but alert someone further down in the hotel (probably hotel staff or security).

>>

I respectfully disagree. There's enough grim darkness everywhere, no point to force it into half-angel paladin quest.
Not to mention it's far from sunshine and rainbows - there were deaths of innocents, there was slave rape, there was assasination...
>>
After making sure all of your companions are settled in, they even have ogre-sized servants quarters that Bokin is comfortable in, you order some lunch for yourself and your companions whilst having a discreet discussion with Gendric.

The food is of excellent quality and the hotel has a wide variety of menu choices, they don’t even blink at being asked for enough food to feed Bokin.

Sofia declares the food to be adequate, whilst Jal seems to be trying to engage Bokin in an eating contest.

“Gendric” you say “What were you supposed to do had you returned with me as a captive?”

He shifts uncomfortably in his chair “I was supposed to take you to Mistress Ilveyen of the Arrowgate House of Flesh, I wasn’t planning on taking you there without negotiating how I’m going to get paid of course.”

I personally feel pretty endeared towards the party members, although I guess there could be more interactions. But I'd rather not force OP to alter his or her style - I don't think you can have everything, especially on limited space the posts allow. Take Princess Guard for instace: plenty of character interaction, but plot advances slower than at realtime.

Regarding the feedback >>33694773
In a way I get what hes saying, but personally I am enjoying the characters and feel rather connected. However it would definitely be nice to be able to have more interactions with them. But I worry about sacrificing actual plot advancement for that. Either way one loses out to the other and I've personally been really digging the rate of story progression.

“And what are the Houses of Flesh?” you ask

Gendric screws up his face like he doesn’t want to answer, eventually he says “Brothels, expensive ones where the whores are transformed into a variety of shapes to suit the tastes of the customers. The Mistress of Flesh is both the brothel madam and a powerful sorcerer specialising in transformation magics, I’d heard Ilveyen was one of the best, so I’m not sure why she only has a single House.”

“What’s a brothel?” asks Bokin around a mouthful of food, Jal starts choking on her food as she laughs.

“And how do you think we should proceed?” you ask Gendric.

He pauses to consider this “I think I’d need some proof I have you in custody” he says “A feather or some hair or something, I’ll use that to convince Ilveyen that I’m ready to make the exchange, and then I’ll ask for more money, she’ll need to contact her mysterious benefactors and maybe even bring them in on the deal.”

“What are the rebels goals?” you ask him

“I couldn’t really say” he responds “overthrow of the government, equal rights for non-bloods, who can say for sure? I do know that for now, most of their recruitment efforts have been amongst the nobles and the wealthy.”

Ilveyen was one of the bidders for you, offering a very high sum, leading Gendric to think she had financial (rebel) backers.

“Isn’t it dangerous to give a sorcerer specialising in flesh-magic bits of me?” you ask

“It’s not without risk” Gendric concedes “But I don’t know how else to prove to her that I have captured you.”

“What other ways could we contact the rebels?” you ask, keeping your options open

“We could ask around” he says “Discretely of course, we might find a rebel contact, or we may run into the Crimson Guard. Or if you were to use your powers in public briefly, the rebels would come looking for you – it would need to be showy of course.”

I don't think Jal could safely tail a person that no doubt has experience in dealing with criminals as Ilveyen is liable to. I'd let her take Bokin and maybe Sofia (so she's not left alone) and try to discreetly find rebels in a seedier part of town.

“What could Ilveyen do with a part of me?” you ask Gendric. He ponders this before answering.

“Flesh magic is very specialised, so I have no direct knowledge of it. I think she could use that part of you to transform one of her whores into a physical copy of you, and that she could also use it to locate you, or transform you at a distance” he continues “but, you’re hard to use magic on at the best of times.”

"Could we possibly have you go to Ilveyen and tell her that I've come willingly to meet with her, due to my interest in her potential backers?" you ask Gendric hopefully.

“We could” he says “But I don’t know what she’d do.”

Pal, your quest is great. I'm usually one to complain about dice systems, the lack of difficulty, the ridiculous power growth of the MC or other things. I even contemplated doing so, but decided against it because I see your quest not in the same way I do others. For me, this is not a game to overcome insurmountable odds, where we have to struggle at every corner. This is a story. I know the good guys will mostly win and I'm ok with it. Miss Valyenya is the destined hero, things will fall her way and she will meet all sorts of interesting and quirky companions no matter how unlikely the encounter and characters. This is not a story about someone struggling at every corner, throwing dice to duke it out with masses of enemies. This is the story of a half-angel who walks the path of fate and righteousness with sure step and pride, never stumbling.

Yes, the story would not work that way in a 'realistic' world. The struggles are too easily overcome, the friends too easily found and too unique. The dice system means that even against supposedly just as powerful enemies we will succeed nearly all the time. But that's ok.

Scrying right now is stupid. We already established that the anti-scrying measures are inadequate. The one we scry on likely has detection items or similar and will attempt counter-scrying. Which in turn will sound the alarm.

Do we have any way to shield against scrying? If so, use it immediately after scrying.

>>
>>33695204
'Challenges' we've faced recently include some barely-competent slavers and Gendric, who was actually somewhat prepared for our power and thus managed to defeat us.
We also got wounded pretty badly by that ogre chieftain, although he was wielding an axe that was more or less made to wreck us.
Rolling well doesn't equal auto-success either, since enemies get their own rolls and bonuses.

Fact is, if we went up against a truly powerful foe, like a greater demon or angel, we'd get stomped at our current level.

After trying your scrying spell you return to the conversation
“Jal” you say, turning to the young elf who seems to have missed the point of cutlery and is eating with her fingers “do you think you could tail Mistress Ilveyen?”

“Yes!” she says confidently “The abbess won’t see a cokum chavy.”

“And could you locate the rebels, you think?”

“weeeeelll, I dunno, plenty of folk wot dun like the redshirts, but real rebels, wi’ plans and th’ like, might take a few days.”

Whilst Jal is mulling over how she’d locate the rebels, you ask Bokin what he thinks.

“Ummm, how will Jal follow Mistress Ilveyen if she’s good at flesh magics?” asks Bokin “Can’t she just change her looks?”

“I think the best approach is the straightforward one” chimes in Sofia “You and Gendric go to see her in your disguise, show her a feather but don’t let her keep it, and then you try and talk her into revealing her connections.”

“Do warding spells block your soul-sight?” you ask Gendric

“They can” he responds “But then the person just looks kinda grey to me – I can tell they’re blocking.”

Of course we are not invulnerable or all-powerful. Something has to stop us from just blazing through the towns purifying all demons. Still, Gendric was the only one we lost to so far and even he was easily convinced to free us and become our ally. We are far more powerful than our stats alone suggest and our stats are far higher than someone of equal experience should have.

We are a newly minted paladin who can solo entire Ogre tribes and convince bountyhunters to change their whole life to protecting people without any magic. Just throwing that out there.

He's 14. That's old enough to know about Brothels in this world, which means he's old enough to learn about it in the demon-infested world.
>Tell him an age appropriate version.
Core idea is sexual favours in exchange for goods, but in reality it's usually poor, weak people who are forced to do it and owners who take all the money. I'm not sure if anyone has had the sex-talk with him though, so a roundabout phrase "selling their bodies" might be necessary to convey the meaning.

You tactfully explain a few of the facts of life to Bokin. Growing up in a small clan he seems aware of the basic mechanics of sex, but ignorant of the wider implications.

You explain how prostitution isn’t bad by itself, but that unprincipled individuals often exploit those who sell their bodies for money. You finish by explaining the doctrine of Velya on the matter – that prostitutes should be allowed to ply their trade, free of slavery, exploitation, rape etc.

Bokins pale blue skin turns a deep blue throughout the conversation and he doesn’t respond much to what you say, his eyes wide. He seems to be looking for a change of topic.

“Are you and Gendric getting on?”

Bokins grimaces “He’s spending a lot of time with you, I don’t trust him, I think he’ll sell you to that Ilveyen tomorrow, but don’t worry, I’ll be watching you.”

“What’ll you do when the adventure is over?” you ask

Bokin smiles, a somewhat cynical look on his face “Grandfather said if I left with you, I would never be coming back to the clan, so you tell me: where do I go when you don’t want me anymore? I mean, you have Gendric now.”

You know exactly what to do with this thing. If you shift the order of the smaller cubes around, it will activate the different powers of the box. The pirates had it stuck on *amplify wild magic* by accident – it’s not doing that because it’s powered down.

But you’re pretty sure you know just how to twist it to switch that off.

Yes, a bunch of cowards tweaked the one part of the based anon's chargen that was normal into something superior. What's wrong with normality? With all this being physically superior in every way, one, such as myself, would say that it was a generous act of compensation for a small matter.

Well when we took the attribute enhancing powers we went far from the human-like to engine of destruction.

At least that's where I see the tipping point. But it tipped from great to awesome in my eyes so I don't really mind. Besides we still need much more power overwhelming before we can do what needs to be done in this world - either that, or some devilishly devious trickery.

“How are you doing?” You ask Jal when she’s found her breath again

“Like a broadsman with all a mugs couter” she says (You think that means she’s doing good)

“Not worried about being an elf in a society that would make you a slave?” You inquire

She straightens up and shakes her head dismissively “Nah, that’s just the game, I’m not glocky, but I’m no fraidy neiver.”

“What do you plan to do when the adventure ends?” You wonder about her future

She shrugs “back ta being a gonoph, only choice really”

“Do you even know what that thing you’re holding is for?” you ask, hoping she’ll put it down so you can talk to her without the distraction.

Thanks to Jals rather suggestive miming, you are clear that she knows exactly what that is for, and now you do too.

“How is life in high society treating you?” you try a different tack.

She thinks about that one, then rushes out to grab her backpack and returns with dozens of fine handkerchiefs in her hands “Lookit all these pulls I found, I only ter bless em and they’re as good as clink.”

>Why do you keep stealing handkerchiefs?
>Thank you for that rather...graphic bit of play-acting, now put it down

Yeah, we aren't anywhere near strong enough to fight a Greater Demon, let alone a Demon Lord, at least in a fair fight.

I wouldn't count our physical attributes as 'engine of destruction' either, given that Gendric has physical stats on par with us.

Really, it seems like our power is only above average for half-angel/demons due to our lightning heritage.

“Why do you keep stealing handkerchiefs?” You ask, wondering if this is some childhood habit

“Yeeeees” you say “Now try it in common.”

Jal concentrates “A ‘ankerchief wot is made well is easy to re-sell for coins, if you remove alla tha i-dent-efy-ing marks like names an such.”

“Thank you for that rather...graphic bit of play-acting, now put it down” you say, indicating the other item she still has hold of.

“Right you are boss” she says, using it to salute you, you hear her mutter under her breath “Gotta tell Gendric you wanna try that one later, can’t wait to see is face.” Then she finally puts it down.

“You don’t have to go back to being a street thief you know, there are other options” You say

Jal freezes, tensing up, “like wot?” she say, staring at you

That isn't us, we're the demi-human placed on this realm in the hopes of pur goddess to do good, right wrongs, and spread joy. When we go full angel is when we stop having any involvement with the planes and Sireyi is no longer of a human mind. When she is no longer of a human mind, she is no longer playable.
>>
>>33696325

Sireyi is too nice and good. And I want to keep her that way.

Now please desist from obsessing over her height. There is no cosmic rule that would require everyone to have set of karmic points to spend on physical attributes. This is how she was and is, just deal with it. It's not even significant.

Really, only issue here is your feelings and perception of what is 'fair'. I respect your opinion and personally don't care about height. I would have loved the story even if Sireyi was just regular mortal, but I don't think it's important enough to warrant a retcon.

You decide to beat Jal at her own game and pull of your clothes one item at a time, making a show of it, turning around slowly as you remove your clothes and making sure to strike an alluring pose as some of your clothes are removed. You try a few dance steps as well, moving to the beat of the music in your head.

Throughout it you focus your attention on Jal, after all, you’re trying to embarrass her in return.

You make sure to keep your wings mantled around you as you do so, of course.

Your companions reactions vary.

Gendric just watches appreciatively, nodding occasionally, a smile on his face.

Sophia tries to maintain her composure but eventually she has her hands over her face as her skin flames red, you can see her eyes peeking through the gaps in her fingers.

Bokin seems frozen, his attention locked on you, eventually he realises he’s staring and looks away, a deep blue blush on his cheeks.

Jal laughs and claps as you toss your clothes away, running to catch them or pick them of from where they’ve fallen. As your routine progresses she moves slower, seemingly more and more engrossed in your performance and as you remove the last item of clothing she doesn’t even go to fetch it, just stares at you, a blush creeping into her cheeks.

Suddenly she realises what she’s doing, dumps all the clothes she’s collected (everything but your panties) on the floor and sits on it saying “All right, ya did it, well done, now ‘ose turn is it next?”

>This wasn’t the deal, give me my clothes back Jal

Guys. I've found what we need to get back home btw. Just in case you haven't read over the Joyful Paladin Rules pastebin yet.

“Fine Jal” you say “we’ll play it your way, but when your turn comes around again....”

You slip your underwear on and get back to the game, the next few rounds pass innocently enough, though the others learn that Jal is good at picking truths or dares that means they would rather take a forfeit.

You also learn that:
Sofia has never even been kissed
Jal isn’t a virgin, and has slept with both men and women
Gendric almost died from loss of blood from his vampire *master* at the age of 9, which is when he decided to run away, though he didn’t escape for another 2 years.
Bokin has a phobia of trolls, due to being attacked by one as a child

Finally it comes down to you and Jal, she looks you in the eye and says “Dare”

Yeah, it is.
89 General XP to get Arcanotek, only 32 to get Ride the Worldstorm.
And we're allowed to mix AXP and GXP for the abilities towards worldstorm.

>>33696903
It was stated that the barrier is more to keep things out, rather than in.
Nothing about Arcanotek implies, to me, that we'd be able to instantly reconstruct an ancient and incredibly costly and complex portal, it'd likely take a very long time to get one operational.

>>33696908

Hmm... I wonder if we can Ride the world storm with multiple people? Also, since we were planning on saving this Plane, I wonder how we'd manage to get a large invading force here. Seems like the best way would be some sort of super magitek portal...

Granted it is expensive and would certainly not be instant... but its, in my opinion, certainly the more interesting way of going about it.

Presumably since Ride the Worldstorm is a direct upgrade to RTL, yes, we can take others.
We don't need to get a massive force here, there's already this rebellion to supply manpower and the horn to supply the needed edge.
All we need to do is break the barrier, which we can do by leaving the plane for a moment.

“Your turn to strip, missy” you say “You have to do the same dare as me – let’s see how well your arms cover all of the essentials.”

Jal looks shocked for a moment and then thoughtful, then she grins.

“I-I’m, I’m not feeling too well” says Bokin, retreating to the safety of his room, it is getting rather late after all, this is probably the last dare you’ll do today.

“So it’s about what ar arms an’ wings can cover is it?” says Jal, grinning

“Yes” you say, knowing you have an advantage in this area.

“Ok” she says, and starts pulling off her clothes, imitating what you did, striking poses and a few dance steps. When she’s down to her bra and panties she walks towards you.

Gendric has watched this all with a smile of amusement on his face, Sofia one of curiosity/confusion.

“What are you doing?” you ask suspiciously “The dare was ‘ow well wings an’ arms cover us” she says, attempting innocence. She pushes her way past your wings as you’re trying to figure out her trick and stands a fingers width away from you, with her back to you, looking over her shoulder she catches your gaze and says “these really are useful you know.”

And then she proceeds to remove her bra and panties, slowly, and leans back against you, her body pressed close to yours.

>Hah alright, you out-tricked me Jal (let her finish, hidden by your wings)

“You know” you breath into Jals ear, inches from your face “Whilst you’re stripping, my hands are free, let’s see how ticklish you are”

“No, nooooo!” she squeals as you discover that yes, she is indeed very, very ticklish.

After several minutes she’s hanging limp in your arms after yelling “I give up!” at the top of her voice followed by “You win, you win!”

Gendric and Sofia find the whole thing enormously entertaining, as does Bokin, who sticks his head out of his rooms door briefly to see what all the noise is about.

Even Ebonsong wakes up from her doze, she’d been laid on the table after gorging and starts running around the room whistling and chirping.

“That’s enough” you say firmly, Jal still suspended in your arms “I think it’s time we all got some sleep.”

“Then put me down ya big ox” complains Jal

“I’m not an ox” you say primly, “I’m perfectly proportioned”

You set Jal down on her feet, both of you still in your panties, as your companions are heading to bed, Gendric heading to one of the servants rooms.

As soon as Jals feet tough the floor, her centre of balance shifts, you’re still partially supporting her weight at this point, so whatever she’s going to do, try and scram, pull your panties down, anything, you can stop it.

>Pick her up again and carry her to her bed if she won’t behave

Carry, writing

As Jal attempts to twist out of your grip you pick her up and tuck her under one arm. Carrying her towards one of the servants rooms, the two of you still wearing almost nothing.

Her please for help from Gendric, Sofia and Bokin go unanswered “Don’t believe Drache prop’ganda” she begs “Even if it’s an elf, it’s still dabbing.”

“My purityyyyyy!” she wails as you shut the door behind you.

With Jal under one arm you pull the bedcovers off the bed, dump her on it and then throw the covers back on, covering her completely.

Released from your grip she throws the covers off, assumes what she thinks is an alluring posture on the bed as you turn to go and spreads one arm out across the bed invitingly “Room fer two on this spread” she says “intcha gonna finish wat yet started? I’m all warmed up an’ ready.”

“Good Night Jal” you say, as you head to your own bed, her laughter following you out of the room.

The next day, you are all approaching the House of Flesh in disguise, Gendric is ready to go in, Jal is nearby watching him, as you, Bokin and Sofia are concealed in an alleyway, nearby, your scrying spell focused on Gendric.

As Gendric enters the House, your scrying spell immediately cuts off, you lost him.

“Did she give you a deadline?” you ask

“No” he says, “She just said to bring you as soon as possible.”

You (in disguise) and Gendric re-enter, whilst your companions keep watch outside.

The greeter at the door seems surprised to see Gendric again so soon but you are both led inside and into an office, a six-armed woman is sat at a desk, signing pieces of paper, she looks up as you enter “Back so soon bounty hunter” she says “I told you-” and then she catches sight of you.

She hurries out from behind her desk and approaches you, running her hands over your body.

“Amazing” she says “simply amazing, such perfect flesh, but what is this foolish disguise you are wearing, take it off at once!” She steps back as she barks the order at you.

She is a six-armed demon-blooded woman with an elongated skull and a perfect, doll-like face. She’s wearing a corset and a tight leather dress, chosen no doubt to emphasise her perfect form, slender, and curvy in all the right places, sporting a larger bust than yourself.

Around her office on the wall and shelves are anatomist’s drawings and body parts in glass jars filling with foul-smelling liquid. This place looks more like a mad chirurgeons office than that of a brothel madam.

On the shelf behind her desk you can see a heart suspended in liquid in a glass jar, still beating somehow.

Not much point in keeping up the pretenses I guess. Drop the disguise.

“Before I go” you say “what is your relation with mistress Ellahi, mistress Ilveyen?”

“Oh we do each other favours” she says, waving a hand dismissively “She also asked me to help her with...well, I’ll let her tell you that if she wants to, but I wasn’t able to help, some things are beyond even my powers.”

“And who is Ellahi Valyenya?” you ask

She smiles, it is not comforting “The last surviving member of the main family line of House Valyenya, the only mortal child of the Ruler.”

“And what is flesh-magic?” you ask

She laughs “It would take years to explain that” she says “suffice to say it is the most precise art of changing shape, anywhere.”

With nothing else to ask, you allow her to summon a servant to take you to a steam carriage, donning your disguise before leaving her office.

You get into a steam carriage in a covered courtyard, it seems that the House of Flesh has a lot of practise in people arriving and leaving without being seen.

After picking up your companions, you are off in the carriage. You are taken across the city and you approach an ostentatious-looking house in one of the richer districts. All of the properties here have thick stone walls around them, and large, imposing gates, and this one is no different.
Arcane wards are carved into the walls, and worked into the ornate metalwork of the gates.

As the steam carriage pulls up, your driver steps out, and does....something to the gates that makes them swing open. You ride the carriage all the way to the door and your escort knocks, a moment latter a distorted voice asks for your identity from a grill in the side of the door. Your driver tells the grill he is a representative of Mistress Ilveyen and code-words are exchanged.
The door is opened and you enter, walking into a small room with 2 doors, one you came in through, and one ahead. Your guide departs in the steam carriage.

“Wait one moment please” says a voice from the ceiling. You feel some sort of magical energy wash over your briefly. The voice continues “All weapons and magical objects in the keeping box please”. A hole opens in one of the walls at waist height.

You place your weapons in the slot in the wall, and they fall out of sight.

“You may enter” says the voice, and the door ahead of you opens.

On the other side is a woman in a floor-length dress, with a very conservative cut that covers everything from the neck down, though the dress is form-fitting, revealing her every curve. She has blonde hair pulled back into a bun and her green eyes look at you over glasses with half-lenses. She has obviously long pointed ears and appears to have no demon ancestry at all, or at least no visible demon traits. Her expression is neutral, revealing nothing.

Her black-gloved hands hold a clipboard “Follow me please” is all she says, and leads you up a flight of stairs to a large opulent room with four long couches set around two tables. There are decorations on the walls, every surface of the dressers around the room are covered in ornaments, and expensive-looking jars with fresh and exotic flowers on both tables. There are three doors leading out of this room, including the one you entered from. Muffled noises can be heard coming from behind one of the doors, a conversation perhaps?

“Have a seat” she says “And would you like any refreshments whilst you wait?”

It sounds not like a conversation at all, but in fact like several people having sex.

“Very well” says the elf (?) in the black dress “The mistress will be with you shortly”
>>
>>33698484
From behind the door you hear the noises getting louder: the creaking of a wooden bed and the enthusiastic noise of several people having sex is drowned out by a woman loudly reaching climax, for a couple of minutes.
Then the volume of noise drops, you can hear heavy breathing coming from the other side of the door.
After a moment the elf knocks on the door and says loudly “Mistress, your guests are here.” And then simply stands waiting.

After a while a young demon-blooded woman enters through the door, in the brief glimpse you get of the other room you get you can see at least 3 naked men of varying degrees of demon-blood lying on a large bed, looking tired.

She is wrapping a robe around herself as she enters, other than the robe she is wearing nothing else.

She has a lazy, satisfied smile on her face, her skin is a reddish bronze and her horns curl delicately above her head. Above her shoulders are two large bat-like wings of streaked red and black, a long slender tail waves behind her as she walks into the room.

She’s almost 6ft tall and has a voluptuous build, generous hips move in a slow sway as she walks, she has a narrow waist and large breasts, much larger than your own. Her rounded face has a strong nose, large eyes and full lips – which she licks as she approaches you.

She sashays up to you with a seductive gait and hugs you, her body pressing up against you. After she pulls back somewhat, her hands never leave your body, simply gliding over the surface of your clothes, her tail wraps itself around one of your legs.

Seems she’s a very tactile sort of person. How do you respond?
