Lu Bu doesn't seem like an overprotective father. He married off his eldest to Liu Biao's clan to secure an alliance like it was nothing. He lets his youngest fight in the battlefield.

Zhu Xing is his favored general and "brother", he would of course allow the marriage. There might be a practice duel, but nothing serious.

This is getting into meta territory, but the four great houses of Wu were supposed to be Zhang (Zhang Zhao), Gu (Gu Yong), Lu, and Zhu.

I think all of those houses except Zhang rose to prominence as a result of their achievements, so probably not too relevant.

Zhang Zhao's clan might be worth marrying into though. He's the highest ranked civil leader, a prefect of his own city, leader of a powerful clan, and it would be nice to get along with him via marriage to his son or something.

Also slightly interesting note. The Zhu clan (not related to our character) were known for their loyalty, which is kind of Zhu Xing's thing.

Last thread, the distribution was 50,000 against Cao Cao in Runan, 40,000 against Liu Bei in Shouchun, and 20,000 against us.

I don't think that takes into account the defenders or the garrison in each city.

We have 33,000 troops left, have to beat Sun Ce and take our two objectives before we can move on. Liu Bei's army is likely tiny as hell according to Chen Gong's assessment. Chances of us taking Shouchun seem slim at best.
