>Special notice: today may be a bit slow

Today is November 3rd, UC 0083. You are Commander Dominic O'Hara, Earth Federation Space Forces, and your new objective is to figure out who the hell has been shipping mobile suit parts into Von Braun by bulk.

This morning you had to disentangle yourself from Haman and Rossweisse, before making your way to a briefing on today's objectives. There Karen outlined your options: one team will head to the environmental control center, and the rest of you will head to the bottom level of Von Braun to try and locate anything unusual at the multitude of scrapyards.

"So, Audrey's volunteered for the environmental team, and I'll be leading," Karen announces. "The rest I'll leave up to you to decide, Dominic."

>Who do you want on each team?
>>
>>34516355
Can you update me on who we have available?
>>
>>34516355
... The team based on searching shouldn't use pilots who's faces are known to the Zekes. Frankly us and Haman should probably be on enviromental
>>
>>34516489
Good point, are we including the Burning Team in this? Because I'd like to bring Kou along to the scrapyards. Just wouldn't be right without him there.
>>
>>34516489
The following are pilots:
>Carya/Catrina Marseille
>Audrey April
>Haman Karn
>Rossweisse
Noncombat
>Karen Joshua
>Reiko Hollinger
>Catherine Blitzen
Support (Affiliated but not under direct command)
>Nina Purpleton
>Emary Ounce
>>
>>34516355
Leave Carya in the hangar on stand-by in her mobile suit encase one of our groups needs bailed out in a hurry. We don't know what we'll encounter, be it a fully functional mobile suit or armor - better ready than dead.

Karen, Audrey, and Blitzen will go to the environmental controls and if we can rope Nina in, do it. Karen for muscle, Audrey for her enginseer skillset, Blitzen for data analysis, and Nina, if we can, for her clearance credentials. Speed up the process of us getting in and hopefully get in unmolested by red tape.

Rosse, Haman, and Domscartes will go murderhoboing in the scrapyards. Rosse is an idiot savant and will point out things we'll easily overlook while Haman can feel out any meatbags.
>>
>>34516580
The crew of the Albion includes the Burning Team minus Alpha Bate (deceased) and Monsha (probably passed out in a gutter somewhere)
>>
>>34516355
KoH I've been wondering for a while now but does our unit have a name or we just a number designated test unit?
>>
>>34516355
>>34516596
Sounds good I support this anon.
>>
>>34516609
>Monsha (probably passed out in a gutter somewhere)
Oh, did the JAG finally throw the book at him?
>>
>>34516580
>Hollinger

She's the one we picked up on the Rose, right?

>Ounce

I cannot remember who this is.
>>
>>34516676
On paper, you don't even exist. No name, no number.
>>34516596
So are we good to go with this?
>>
>>34516580
>>34516609

I guess I'll go with this >>34516596
Though I'd add Kou and/or Keith in too, since they're new and relatively unknown.

Haman and Dom can try to go for cheap disguises that'll work in a pinch.
It's amazing how a pair of sunglasses can work as a disguise in UC.
>>
>>34516355
>>34516596
This sounds good to me, though I'd change it from CC being in the Viola to being in Rossweisse's Kampfer. It's meant for rapid deployment inside colonies, it'll be able to respond quicker. Plus its lack of beam weapons mean there will be less chance of collateral damage. I mean, still some, since it uses a grenade rifle. But it won't accidentally detonate any fusion reactors if stray fire hits them.

>>34516735
Emary Ounce is an Anaheim technician, apparently pretty competent considering that in four years she'd be captain of La Vie En Rose if everything went according to canon. She's also kind of a fangirl for our team.
>>
>>34516795
>Ounce
>technician

Looked her up. Bring her with us to the scrapheap. She can dig out Megas XLR for us.
>>
>>34516795
IIRC from Dom's duel with Kou, the Kampfer and Gmdam have roughly the same speed, with the Gmdam having slightly better acceleration, or something.

>The Kämpfer was always one of your favorite machines, and this one is no slower for its various modifications: in fact, you can tell its joints have been magnet-coated. It maneuvers almost as well as the Lilium, though it feels a fair bit slower to accelerate.

Rember that Kampfer is fast, but Gmdam is still a fucking Gundam.
>>
>>34516795
The main reason I didn't suggest the Kampfer is that Zeon and the Feds are at war. Deploying a Zeke suit would insight a riot and probable deployment of GMs to intercept. Rosse would get tied up in red tape while we're vaporized.
>>
>>34517041
>>34517057
Good points, both of these. Okay, I'm withdrawing the Kampfer idea.
>>
>>34516355
"Carya, I want you to stay here with the Kämpfer, no beam weapons. Be ready to sortie on a moment's notice."

Carya nods. "Gotcha. If there's trouble I'll be there quick."

"Audrey, Karen, and Catherine, you'll round out the environmental team. I wish Nina were in civil service instead of the corporate sector, but you're credentials will have to do, Karen."

Karen nods. "Makes sense."

"Rosse, Haman? You and I are heading down to the junkyards. Reiko, you can settle into the Albion's comm suite and direct traffic for us."

Your team salutes, and head to their objectives. You lead your trio of Newtypes to the linear rail station, and head down to the bottom level of the city of Von Braun. This level is one that most of the population never see, unless they work there. Repair shops perform maintenance on the vital equipment that keeps the city running and habitable. Everything from kitchen appliances to industrial oxygen scrubbers are assembled, disassembled, repaired, bought, and sold down here both on the legitimate market and the black market. Anything you want bought or repaired can be handled somewhere... all you need to know is where to look.

>Check the first place you see (d20 random encounter, second roll only)
>Ask one of the smaller shops where you could repair a junior mobile suit (d20 random encounter, third roll only)
>Check in with the local police on this level for suspicious activity (d20 random encounter, fourth roll only)
>>
>>34517248
No, we withdrew the Kampfer thing, Hearts. It was just me who wanted that and I was persuaded by the others it wouldn't be the best idea. We can just use the Lilium with ballistic weapons, instead.

For the record, I'm referring to the three new Gundam prototypes Dom's team has as "Gmdams" since I can never remember their fucking code names properly, andi belive Gmdam is a pretty good summation for 'Gundam that looks like a GM" IMO.

I don't care if its not the official name, I'm just going to refer to it as that unofficially, because all this flower stuff really confuses me. (Also, every time I see Lilium or whatever, I think of Evangelion instead of a Gundam, to add to my confusion.)

>>34517248
Goddammit KOH, we already decided *not* to have her stand by in the Kampfer and use the Gmdam instead.

It won't make much of a difference, as the local defense forces know that the Albion has unusual mobile suits and your Kämpfer will be identifiable as EFSF.

>it won't make much of a difference

It comes down to book keepers, paper pushers, politicians, and officers. Of course it'll make a difference. We don't know if the fact that we've a Zeon mobile suit onboard has been dispatched down the grapevine. Some PDF might get antsy at seeing a mono-eye staring at them and shoot a MANPAD.
>>
>>34517794
MANPADs are practically worthless against mobile suits, especially ones armored in Gundarium. You could take a Zaku down with one if you hit right at the cockpit hatch, but the Kampfer Kai? I doubt it.
>>
>>34517248
"No sense overthinking it," you insist to Haman and Rosse. "We have no real idea where to start, and no firm evidence there's even anything here to be found. So let's just go to the first shop we come across and work from there."

"Your call," Haman replies. "At worst it's one less shop to investigate later."

The first shop you run across is a middling sized repair shop specializing in industrial equipment: mining drills, cranes, hydraulic winches, that sort of thing. Rossweisse immediately gravitates towards a plasma cutter, the sort of tool used aboard the Albion to cut away damaged sections of mobile suit armor.

"Might've supplied our guy," Haman mutters. "Worth a shot?"

You nod and flag down an employee. "Hey buddy," you greet jovially, "I've been looking for someone who can contract to do a little plasma cutting for a salvage venture I'm running. You know anyone in the area with the equipment?"

The old man looks you up and down, then glances at the two young ladies at your side. "They some kinea hired hep?" he asks in an accent vaguely reminiscent of the bayous down on Earth. 'Wouln' min hirin em meself."

"They're my pilot and navigator," you quickly explain, trying to deprive Haman the opportunity to snap at the old bastard. "So, the plasma cutters?"

"Yehd be lookin at a couplea places on this level. Lemme getcha some paper anna pen," he tells you, walking back to the register.

When he returns he has in his hand a list of seven places on this level of the city which have the capacity to do the sort of plasma cutting that would be required to refurbish a mobile weapon: four of which are also scrapyards. On your way out, you nearly bump into a young woman a few years older than you who seems to be in a hurry. Her nervousness catches the eyes of both Haman and Rossweisse.

"Wonder what that was about?" Haman muses.

"Unsure," Rossweisse replies, her eyes lingering on the woman with a calculating gaze.

Staggered line. The three of us spread out, but still remain in visual/comm contact with each other. When the woman makes a turn, the lead tail continues going the way he or she was traveling, circles around the block, and resumes their position at the end of the congo line. If someone is made, the other two keep tailing her while the made person stays out of sight as backup. Repeat until we arrive at our destination.

>95: COMMENCING VIRTUOUS MISSION
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4hX8N65iug

You think you can hear music in your head as you immediately realize what you have to do.

“We're stalking that woman,” you hiss at Haman and Rossweisse.

“Are you crazy?” she hisses back. “I'm pretty sure that's illegal.”

“He kidnapped you,” Rossweisse points out.

You shake your head. “Now's not the time. Besides, it turned out okay, right?”

“Fine,” Haman replies. “How do we do this?”

“I'll take point,” you respond quietly. “Haman, you're twenty feet behind me, and Rosse, you're fifteen behind that on the opposite side of the street. When she turns I'll break off and regroup with you, and Haman will take point. Hopefully that way she won't notice.”

“And how will we...”

“Phones,” you reply. “Check discreetly, send me an update if she turns again before I can regroup.”

Haman shakes her head. “Have you ever actually done this before?” she asks.

“Do you really want to know the answer to that?”

“Good point.”

The three of you silently fall into position and follow the woman, careful to act as 'normal' as is possible for you. As you walk you get a good look at her: dark skin, black hair, somewhat Hispanic in appearance.

"Breaking and entering?" Haman taunts.

"Why do you keep bringing that up?"

"Why do you keep forgetting it?" you counter, letting yourself into the junkyard behind the woman you've been stalking as she walks behind the main building, holding back a little to remain out of site and keeping your ears open.

"... I'm worried about you, Kelley!" you hear the woman's voice as you settle in behind a conveniently located bush with Rossweisse and Haman.

"Cut that out," you mutter as Rossweisse stares at your butt while you're trying to listen in on the conversation.

A male voice, presumably 'Kelley' responds in an aggravated tone. "This is what I have to do, Latuera. I don't ask that you understand me, only that you allow me to act only ideals."

At the word Haman and Rossweisse have to hold you back to restrain your silent rage.

"Alright, I've heard enough to interest me," you tell your teammates. "Let's go snoop around the joint, see what we can find."

Exiting the bushes with the girls in a cool, collected calm you haven't had to use since high school, you lead them out into the piles of scrap metal, looking for anything useful.

"Those are just scrap servos," Haman observes as you pass one pile.

"Engines," Rossweisse points out, eying a pile of engine blocks from electric cars and monorail trams.

Finally, you see it: a large hangar near the back of his property. It looks big enough to house damn near anything. Unfortunately you're not the only one there. You notice the newcomer too late to convincingly hide yourself.

"Who are you?" you hear the same voice. Turning, you see a large man with one arm.

"What are you looking for here? Maybe I can point you in the right direction?"

He seems calm enough, but he's suspicious of you.

"Well," Kelley replies, "here I am."

"I'm Tetra Lavaia, and these are my associates Miss Balzac and Miss Scratam. We're in salvage, and we needed someone to do some plasma cutting. One of the locals pointed us to you."

Kelley nods. "You're in the right place, Mister... Lavaia. What will you need cut?"

"Titanium alloy plating," you reply. "We're going after some old war materiel."

"I see," he replies, clearly thinking over the prospect. "I take it missing an arm is no issue with you?"

"None whatsoever," you reassure him. "Though we may need a place with a large enough space to work. That hangar looks about the right size. Is it empty?"

"Thank you for your time, mister..."

"Layzner," he replies, holding out his hand to shake. "Kelley Layzner."

Across the street from Layzner's scrapyard is a cafe, where you and your team settle in. First, you call the Environmental team.

"Audrey, what's going on?"

"There seems to have been a heat spike down there alright, two days ago. It's consistent with a large reactor spinning up."

"Good news," you tell her. "We've found a likely spot. I'll keep in touch."

Next, you ring Carya.

"Hold tight," you tell her. "There may be some trouble soon enough."

"Just what I like to hear," she replies. "Ta-ta."

"Okay, so the plan is to watch for any shipments coming in or going out?" Haman asks.

You nod to her. "That's right."

Rossweisse, however, looks over your shoulder at something behind you.

You turn, and see someone who doesn't fit. She walks with a certain poise and precision that screams "military", and her eyes betray a deeply-ingrained malice. Towards what, you don't know and can't say, but it's there, right below the surface. This is a woman who has fully embraced her hate: a dangerous foe, or a potential ally, depending on the direction of her wrath.

"May I sit?" she asks, forcing Rossweisse to scoot over in your booth without even waiting for your answer.

You glare at her, and she seems to let it roll past her. She's just not that impressed with you, as if she's see more intensity.

"Fine," you tell her. "Who are you, and what do you want?"

She smiles. "Cima Garahau. Yes, the same one as the fleet. I'm here to talk to you and Miss Karn, Commander. And whoever your other fetching companion is."

“Cima, if you don't mind. No need for empty formalities... I get enough of that with the Admiral.”

“Cima, then,” you continue. “I'm half surprised you came without a commando team.”

“Three of the men in this room are mine,” Cima explains. To further make her point she waves at one, and he waves back awkwardly.

“Okay,” Haman replies. “So you know who we are, and you probably know why we're here. So what do you want?”

“I take it you're not down here to see the sights,” you add.

“Layzner?” Rossweisse speculates.

Cima nods with a single laugh. “Yes, Mister Layzner. Amputee, former veteran of the Principality Assault Forces. A mobile suit pilot at that, and a talented mechanic.”

“So we were right,” you muse aloud. “Layzner really was the one ordering all those parts.”

“Correct,” Cima verifies. “Well done.”

“Unsurprised,” Rossweisse says aloud.

“That's right,” Haman agrees. “You seem to be taking our progress in stride, Miss Garahau.”

“Cheeky little thing,” Cima remarks.

You shake your head. “How did you know?”

“Who do you think tipped off the mafia?” Cima asks you, almost playfully.

Haman covers her face with her hands and groans, but Cima merely raises an eyebrow. "No. I wanted to meet you in person, to discuss some 'joint business' opportunities."

"Why go to the trouble and ruin things for Delaz, though?"

Cima shrugs. "I wanted to get a feel for you. You can only get so far looking at the official reports and files."

"Forgetting about the fact that you have my files," you press on, "what sort of business opportunities?" Haman and Rossweisse lean in expectantly.

"Do you know anything about me?" Cima asks.

"You have me at a complete disadvantage."

"Let's just say I have a grudge against the Principality," she tells you. "So I don't especially want the Delaz fleet to succeed."

"I do have a few questions, though," you tell Cima.

The Commander nods. "Go ahead."

"What's the operation?" you ask. "What do you expect us to do?"

Cima laughs again. "Why, young man, I don't expect you to do anything. Or at least, nothing you're not already doing."

"Explain," Haman presses.

"All you need to do is continue hindering Delaz as you have been," Cima continues. "You draw his attention, allowing me to maneuver, In return, you get information."

"As a good faith token, how about you tell us what happened with the recent Anaheim leaks?" you press.

"We have constructed a version of the GP-04," she confirms. "But only the one. It's slated to be my personal unit."

"And Slattern?" Rossweisse asks.

Cima looks at her like she's grown a second head. "What, like the Kaiju? How is that relevant?"

Good, that's at least one fleet that doesn't have any intel on the Slattern modifications. Excellent.

"Then I think we have a deal," you reply, reaching your hand across the table to shake Cima's hand. She graciously returns the gesture.

"One thing..." Haman begins.

"Layzner?"

"Layzner."

"Do as you will," Cima tells you. "He's got a Val Varo in the hangar. I'm concerned my hardline approach to him has only convinced him to take drastic measures. Since you killed its intended pilot, Layzner believes he's the only one who can do the job."

Cima hands you a data disk. "This contains a full evaluation of the Val Varo's combat abilities, as well as data on my fleet."

The thing is, she honestly didn't know that was what she was doing. All she did was fire her rocket launcher at a Federation outpost. She was surprised as anyone else when it turned out the warheads were chemical and not high-explosive. That's why she's so bitter against the Delaz Fleet, because Zeon made a murderer out of her. She's a sympathetic character, in some ways. She needs to answer for her crimes, but that doesn't mean she's a monster.

>>34523750

"Speed" is ground speed, as in running, or in the Lilium's case, hovering. "Thrust" is thruster output, and "Acceleration" is straight-line acceleration. In space, the GP-01Fb is faster. On the ground, the Lilium is faster, and the Lilium is almost always more responsive.

Unleash the Haman! Best chance to get him outside his MA before the team gets here with the suits. I would like to think our chances are good that the machine is not a full capabilities if Kelley pilots it but we changed cannon real good already so he might be able to pilot it fine.

Which is true, to be fair. Those are entirely factual statements about Dominic.
>>
>>34524877
I imagine the Twins with a bout of fridge logic wondering how we knew it was a Val Varo without stepping inside the hangar.

And then Haman and Rosse inform her he was seducing another woman.
>>
Rolled 17 (1d20)

>>34524877

I'll just come out and say it 'cause I know some are hoping (myself...maybe? Don't know for sure) to know, what's our chances of recruiting and baggin' Cima? Without having any of the girls chopping our dick off Russian-style?

Realistic chances knowing how we think and roll.
>>
>>34524703
"We're going now," you decide. "No sense waiting when the cavalry's on the way."

"Great, let's get going," Haman replies.

As you step out the door, you turn to Haman. "Really, you'd better leave the talking to me this time."

As you walk over to the junkyard, you can see that Kelley Layzner is arguing with his girlfriend again. You approach the two of them and clear your throat.

"Mister Layzner," you start, carefully reaching one hand behind your back. "There's still one issue we left outstanding... truth be told, we know what's in your hangar."

Looking into his eyes, you can see that Layzner knows he's in trouble. He slides a little behind his girlfriend, placing her between you and himself.

>Write in to talk him down

>>34525059
"Recruiting"? Pretty good, if she survives. Sexing her up? Somewhat poorer. Exactly how much poorer, who can say.
>>
>>34525059
Let's stick with new type girls.
>>
>>34525070

Ah fuck. Shit I'm not a negotiator for the police.

>"First off, we don't want anyone to get hurt or for you to harm the civilians around here. Hell I don't even want the Feddies to arrest you. We've met soldiers of the Principality such as yourself during our journeys, but the Principality as you know it is dead and the Delaz Fleet doesn't have a chance. They already lost the nuclear equipped Gundam, the Nightmare of Solomon perished in battle and the Federation knows about the movements of the Delaz Fleet. You wouldn't even be fighting against the corruption you see in the Federation if you sortied right now, you'd just be harming innocent civilians who just want to live their lives in comfort and peace."

And I just got off work and am tired, that's all I got. Hopefully someone's got a better write in.
>>
>>34525131
Still going to be gunning for Cima I am
>>
>>34525153

I can't help it, I always felt sorry for Cima. Perhaps we can keep the Newtypes and Kou and start his Oldtypes harem? I'm kidding. Seriously.

Hands in the open in a non-threatening manner.

>"There's no need for any further bloodshed. And I imagine your girlfriend wouldn't want to grieve for you either. For both your sakes, please stand down."
>>
>>34525215
>>34525181
Lets go with these. Though I doubt he'll step away, he's lost too much to just give up, like the stubborn soldier he is.
>>
>>34525131
That's fine by me. I want to her team up with Haman to take back Axis in the future, and give her a chance to settle the score with whoever is involved in the colony gassing.
>>
>>34525070
"I knew a man once like you. Stubborn bastard. He requested that I kill him in order to ensure the Principalities ideals would die and that the noble ideals would return."

"I do not know what your goal is, I simply hope we can conclude this confrontation with minimal bloodshed and loss of life. Stand down, soldier."
>>
>>34525070
"Look, Kelly, I get it. You've got a cause that you're dedicated to and you need to fight for it. But this isn't the place for it. Activating that machine in the middle of the city would cause pointless death and destruction. Your ideals are noble, don't do something that would stain them. Zeon has seen more than enough of that."
>>
So does anyone know if Kelly have a canonical ace title? Because if not I'm going to assume it's the Blue Comet. And that he got the name long before Char got his, not due to any heroic actions but just because his superior officer was a nerd.

“You know the man who was supposed to pilot the Val Varo? A man by the name of Gato. Stubborn bastard had himself a girlfriend too, and threw it all away for his own pride. Not for the ideals Zeon espoused, but for his own damn pride. And in the end it killed him.”

Layzner glares at you. "I know. Anavel was my friend. Like him I'm determined to see things through even if it kills me."

"Kelley..." the black-haired woman insists. "You don't have to go through with this! What has Delaz ever done for you!?"

"I need a purpose, Latuera," the large man replies. "During the war I could make a difference, and fighting for Delaz will let me find a purpose again. Don't deny me this."

"Even Anavel regretted it in the end," Haman adds.

Layzner shakes his head. "I don't believe you."

"She's right. He knew he threw away his livelihood, and forced me to kill him. He didn't feel like he had any alternative. Wanted to take the Gundam he stole with him."

"And so I should be any less dedicated?" Layzner retorts. "Shouldn't I be just as willing to throw it all away as Gato was? Isn't self-sacrifice part of a soldier's duty?"

To your surprise, you hear a metallic click from behind Latuera's back. The young woman's eyes widen a little in surprise, but eventually close in acceptance.

"No," you mutter, finger finding the trigger of your concealed pistol. "Not like this, Layzner. Not like this."

"Look at yourself, Kelley," you tell him. "You already lost an arm for Zeon, and did they do anything for you? No. But you've still got one good arm, don't you? You could have done anything with that arm. You could have built a life for yourself here in Von Braun, with... Laura?"

"Latuera," she corrects.

"With your girlfriend. You have it better than most of the vets who hang around here! You have a business! You have enough money to refurbish a mobile armor in your spare time! Imagine all the good that one arm could have done! And what are you doing with it? You're supporting the sore losers from the Principality? They didn't even want to use you as a PILOT! All they care about is the Val Varo you've repaired for them!"

"I still believe in the ideals of Zeon!" Layzner returns. Paying careful attention, you see that Audrey is in position to snipe with her cannon, and Carya is in position with her massive grenade launcher, ready to assault. Karen is nowhere to be seen, but you know she's here somewhere.

"You're not fighting for ZEON anymore, imbecile!" Haman shouts. "You just can't stand being normal! It's pathetic. You're wasting your life!"

Then, in one blinding movement, you draw and fire your sidearm, hitting Layzner squarely in the shoulder. His girlfriend screams in shock as Rossweisse pushes past her and pins the large man to the ground, which is easy since he has no arms to use to fight back. Haman pulls Latuera to one side as she gets hysterical.

As Carya and Karen move up towards the hangar, you give Layzner a wide berth. On the ground next to him you find not a sidearm, as you'd thought, but a detonator.

"You were going to blow the Val Varo from here," you conclude. You quickly dial Reiko aboard the Albion, and have her tell your team to stay clear of the hangar, unsure of just how many explosives are in there.

"Shit," you mutter to Haman. "This'll take some cleaning up."

>>
>>34526236
You know, I can see it. Latuera has a somewhat masculine build and face. I'd buy her being trans. I wonder what transitioning is like in the Universal Century? >>
>>34526305
Oh got the beakie marines with mono-eye of the zaku can't stop grinning.
>>
>>34526252
Nina is only allowed to pattern a Kaiju module for it. Nothing else. She'll slam the thing into the side of the Albion or something.

Which reminds me, she'll haft to tear out the cockpit and rebuild it from the ground up anyway. Kelley was modifying it so he could pilot it one-handed.
>>
>>34526320
Not much. She'd recognize the name of his home colony.
>>
I kinda like to belive that Karen has a love/hate thing going on with Dom, I mean on one hand, he's not Shiro. On the otherhand, he basically shoved her into a desk jockey position, while he gets to actully gets to do stuff.
>>
Looking at a few comparisons, the VV is.. well, it's huge. We'll haft to strap it to the hull of the Albion if we take it with us.
>>
>>34526359
No keep it as a one-hander. Use the other arm of something?
>>
>>34526455
We keep offering to take over desk jockey duties from her, she waves us down. I think on some level she welcomes the chance to pass off tactical-level decisions to us. Means she doesn't have to be the one to worry about whether she's sending the team to their deaths.
>>
>>34526502
It actually could be interesting to see what modifications Kelly's made to the cockpit. In canon he pilots a very complicated piece of machinery with a single arm, he must have made some pretty substantial refinements to the controls. If a one-handed man can pilot the Val Varo that well with the custom control scheme, imagine what a two-handed man could do.
>>
>>34526510
Maybe she's afraid that if we switch places, she'll be put in charge of seducing female Zeon members to our side.
>>
>>34526547
Yes that sweet sweet cockpit data.
>>
>>34526660
Just be glad you didn't muck up the shot. If you had, he'd have pushed the button. And that would have been bad.

Also interesting that you rolled a combination that led to Cima showing up. That was about a 20% chance.

>>34526612
Partly, she's in a similar position to Christina: in Gundam X, they called it "cockpit phobia". For Christina it's an actual physical revulsion, for Karen it just puts her on edge. The last operation in the 08th MS left her a little rattled.

Also, who ever said it was Dominic's 'harem'?
>>
And archive is up.

>>
>>34527079
There may be a point where he'll need to stop. Char may have a stable love life in this continuity, but if Dominic isn't careful he'll end up fucking up the lives of the rest of the canon cast.

Imagine the Argama without any female crew, because they gave Karen a ship, and all the competent women in the Universal Century end up in the crew.
>>
>>34527341
Dom joins gets sick of the EF's crazy shit, joins the AEUG and winds up on the Argama, problem solved.

Oh god, that winds up with Dom mentoring Kamille.
>>
