It would appear that I have arrived just at the right time from my expedition to the Underdark mines, as I'm bearing this magnificent new alloy that should prove much more magic resistant than any of the previous ones we've used! Clearly, if the Guild requires rebuilding and fortifying, why not rebuild it in a much more fortified manner, using enchanted metal, moats of lava and spiked balls at every corner to drop on the unwanted visitors? That is my stand on what must be done to prevent such low and cowardly attacks from occurring again, as I would love to see them try to break through our enchanted defences. I believe I can have my apprentices set out crafting bodies for protector golems right away, so we'll have eyes and ears up at all times.

I'm still dubious that the whole thing was entirely Jheska's doing, or even intent. Wasn't she an exile from Menzoberranzen? How did she end up with an army of drow that gave her a prolonged and horrible death sentence? This whole thing just stinks to me. And for the record, it was the real ashburn that got redacted. We still don't understand the full effects of redaction, and it's possible that it fiddled with soros' divinations. Like how you hit someone on the head just right and they recognize the faces of family members and what not, but don't associate the identity with them.
