“Good question. We could start from the ground up reprogramming the entire system. It would take the longest amount of time but it would probably give the greatest amount of functionality. This would mean you wouldn't be able to use your bits until we finish the code and begin testing. Another way is to rewrite the code in sections like flight patterns, control, or targeting. Depending on which section we are rewriting, you would lose that functionality but otherwise have the bits working. But that would mean there would be a lot of bugs. Especially since the coding is a mess.” you explain.

Basically, Cecilia will be able to use the old code until we start uploading the new code to Blue Tears. Due to the quirks of how an IS works and all the required fitting, she would not be able to move back to the old code easily. A lot of why IS works are still unknown, so it isn't as simple and switching out programs. Not only does the IS need to get use to the code but so does the user.

“Let's start over from scratch. We may be at this for a while but only the best for you.” you decide.

“Of course.” Cecilia answers proudly.

The two of you begin this new project, Bit Systems Ver.2. First thing to do, decide on overall functionality and goals for the project. The first ideas you come up with are the control scheme. Cecilia recognized the problems with being forced to stay in one place in order to use the bits, so you both brainstormed ideas around this. Way-points and macros are the first thing you want in. Cecilia adds that she wants voice commands and a way to aim the bits. You figure out that you can use the IS sensors and HUD to use her eyes as a way to aim the bits.

Moving onto the next part to brainstorm, the flight control systems. Cecilia seemed quite happy with how they are but you weren't all that impressed. When you mentioned more complex maneuvers using the AG systems of the bits, Cecilia was unsure of the usefulness. Being able to fire on a different axis as you were moving would prove to be a great advantage. Cecilia wasn't sold on it until you showed her a video of it in action.

Targeting should be a simple part of the system. Since you both decided that autonomy on the bits would not be useful, you both decide on just having the build in targeting systems to just increase accuracy of the commands. This way it requires less input from Cecilia and decreases the time to acquire a firing solution. One thing that made you question the entire system was when reviewing the original programming, you saw a lot of finger prints in the comments about a BAE system. You just shake your head when you saw that. For some reason, the twin missile launchers are considered a part of the bits system. You should be able to just tweak the missile guidance to be able to be compatible with the new functionality.

The power systems should remain somewhat untouched as it is largely a function of hardware. You know you will have to retool it to work with all the new functions of the system and to allow for ease of upgrading it later.

After the two of you finish brainstorming, you begin to lay the groundwork for the new code.

“John, remember those ideas you had back in your room?” Cecilia asks.

“Yeah, what about them?” you ask in reply.

“I thought they were brilliant. The ones for improved targeting would be of use here. So why not bring them here?” Cecilia inquires.

“I was thinking about using when we hit the targeting part of the code.” you answer.

You upload the beginnings program to a secure server and head out to your dorm room.

“No, I decided to give them the day off. They would have interfered with my plans.” Cecilia answers while holding onto your arm.

The two of you make it about half way before you hear someone yell at you.

“YOU ARE LATE.” Rin yells at you before she begins to run towards you.

Oh right, Rin wanted to get some practice in today. You aren't sure if it slipped you mind or you were too engrossed with this current project. You really enjoy coming up with and engineering new military systems ever since you were young. Not sure why though.

“Good. Start.” Rin replies with gusto.

You quickly deploy Caladbolg and prepare for her assault. She comes at you with the full fury she can muster. You are forced to rely on quick boosting and your better thrust to keep up. Your attacks are slow and easily dodged but those times you do connect, you do a good deal of damage. Despite your attacks and your continued dodging, Rin does not let up at all.

“What's wrong John? Starting to find your limits?” Rin asks almost gleeful.

“No, haven't really used this weapon of last resort.” you shoot back.

“Is that so? Then sounds like you need more practice, maybe being on the receiving end will help.” Rin counters as she puts all her IS' thrust behind you in a charge.

You do the same and begin your charge at Rin. You have a brilliant idea. Instead of using your quick boost to get away why not add it to your strike? It should make your attack harder to miss while adding some strength to the attack. What could go wrong?

As the distance closes between you and Rin, you mark the instance you begin your strike and fire your quick boost. Just barely outside of melee range, you fire your quick boost and throw your entire might in a downward strike with Caladbolg. And with a great crash as the massive claymore hits the ground throwing up a cloud of dust and dirt into the air, missing the target completely.

Yeah, you did destroy her dragon cannon in a similar way. You guess she still might be angry for that.

“Fine, lead the way.” you answer, slightly annoyed you have to submit.

You begin to wonder what is around here to merit so many girls around here. It becomes obvious why when you reach your destination, a Sweets and Cake Cafe. No wonder there are a lot of girls around here.

“Your treat of course.” Rin says as the two of you enter the shop.

“I figured as much.” you reply.

The two of you are seated and handed menus. Rin quickly decides on the largest and most expensive parfait there is. You order a coffee and a danish, don't want to spoil dinner. A quick look around, you see that the shop is rather popular as most of the tables are filled with girls from school. Without much wait, you both get your order. You can see why Rin's order was so expensive, it took up a large bowl and had so many different kinds of confectioneries and syrups that it looked like it would last you an entire day.

You quick finish your danish as Rin slowly but surely eats away at her parfait. Eventually she conquers the mountain called a parfait.

“Ah, that was good.” Rin says contently as she drops the spoon in the now empty bowl.

“I'm impressed, that was quite a lot to eat in one sitting.” you reply.

“All girls loves sweets. Especially when you don't have to pay for them.” Rin responds smiling.

“I bet.” you reply back.

You both get from your seats and head to the counter. You pay for the food and slowly walk back to the dorms taking it easy.

“So what about tomorrow? I think Charlotte would be pretty accommodating.” you ask on the way back.

“Yeah, the Tournament is next week so we should practice tomorrow. Just not sure what exactly.” Rin muses.

“I suppose we can work on our coordination.” you say thinking out loud.

“That works.” Rin says in agreement.

The walk back at a nice slow pace with the setting sun, not a bad way to spend the end of the day.

You have some time to kill before dinner. Not sure what to do, you muse over your options.

You decide to head back to your dorm room to make sure it is ready. Once back in your room, you make sure the beds are made and clean up anything you missed from the sleep over. It takes a bit longer than you thought to clean up but it's done. Any new notes you made that involved data from Uncle Eli's USB are quickly put away in your inventory, don't want Cecilia to see those. Once the room is cleaned up to your satisfaction, you decide to take a quick shower. Washing away the sweat from earlier helps you relax and prepare your next move. You dry off and change into a clean set of sweats to relax. You grab your phone for the next move.

Your next move is to text Cecilia to meet up at the cafeteria for dinner. She responds almost immediately with an affirmative text. After the return text, you make sure everything is clean and head out to the cafeteria. You find Cecilia on the way and catch up to her.

“I was surprised you texted me to meet up.” Cecilia says as you catch up with her.

“Rin and I didn't practice the entire time, so I thought it would be good to let you know.” you reply.

“Ah, I see. About afterwords, will it just be the two of us?” Cecilia asks a sheepishly.

“Yeah, just the two of us.” you answer.

You were barely able what Cecilia mumbled out, “Perfect.”

The two of you quietly walk to the cafeteria for dinner. You arrive just ahead of the crowd so you get your food rather quickly. As you sit down, you note Cecilia is wearing a rather simple if nice dress. It is quite a nice sight.

“Something wrong John?” Cecilia asks, noticing your gaze.

“Oh it's nothing really. Just your dress caught my eye. It looks good on you.” you answer before you started eating your soup.

“Ah thank you.” Cecilia says happily, “It was a new dress that I had Chelsea ship over from a designer in France.”

You laugh lightly at that. In one way, that really is like Cecilia to do that. She is stupidly rich after all.

“Chelsea sent over some dresses that I thought would look good on me.” Cecilia continues.

You and Cecilia have a pleasant conversation over dinner before Laura and Charlotte joins you.

“You really enjoy engineering things John.” Charlotte says, accepting your answer.

Laura stares at you a bit more before says, “Then Friday, we will also work together.”

“What do you want me to help you with?” you ask unsure where Laura is heading.

“With my IS. You had those designs on ammunition types. Such a thing would improve the effectiveness of my Schwarzer Regen.” Laura answers.

“Wouldn't manufacturing be a problem though? Even if the design works without any problems, you still have to actually make the projectiles at a reasonable price.” you ask.

“There will be no problems. When my squad heard that I meet your Grandfather, they were able to get more resources for support.” Laura explains.

Grandpa was that you or is someone else moving in the background. Such a thing wouldn't happen overnight unless it was something big. This has you slightly worried but nothing you can do about it now.

“John, would you mind helping me out tomorrow? I wanted to do some maintenance on my IS but I am not familiar with your hanger or the people there.” Charlotte asks you.

“Sure.” you answer without hesitation.

“Thanks John, I know I can always count on you.” Charlotte replies smiling.

The rest of dinner is nice as the four of you enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. The four of you head back to the dorms after dinner. You and Cecilia split up with Charlotte and Laura at the stairwell.

Laura stares a bit at you thinking of something before she follows Charlotte back to their room. You and Cecilia reach your room soon afterwards. You pull up the spare chair for Cecilia as the two of you sit down in front of your computer. Firing it up and downloading from the secure server the code you started on earlier today.

“How about I get to work on the programming while you go through some of the notes.” you mention.

“Yes, let's do that.” Cecilia says in agreement.

You hand over you relevant notes to Cecilia and you begin programming. You start with the control architecture, nothing too new for you since you worked on something like this before with Uncle Eli while Grandpa overlooked what you did. Occasionally you had to ask Cecilia on her preferences for commands. You were able to get a lot of general hooks for the new functions you are adding but it will take a lot of programming to really fill it out. You notice after a while, Cecilia is really looking into your notes and a reference book on Aircraft systems. After some more programming, Cecilia brings something to your attention.

“John, if you complete this. It would be worth a fortune. After examining these notes, they are not only more thought out than the Bits' program architecture notes. But they are better than some of the system designs I've seen for Blue Tears.” Cecilia says.

“Really? This is the sort of thing I did with Uncle Eli. He would baby sit me from time to time as a kid and we would spend time doing this sort of thing. Eventually as I grew older, he would come over and we would do fun stuff like this.” you reply as you finish writing out this function.

“John, I am serious. This would easily be worth millions of dollars and could push Blue Tears as the next IS the UK chooses as their main model.” Cecilia adds.

“Well, you are right. If we complete this, it would be a huge advantage for you. But before I left the home to come here, Uncle Eli and I were working on a systems similar to this. So in the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't be revolutionary. Just an iteration of something else.” you explain after you press the compile button.

“You mean like this?” Cecilia shows you one of your notes, the one on the distributed AI networking for continuous control.

“Ah, woops.” you say as you grab that piece of paper, “Missed that.”

Cecilia tries and grabs it from you but you were able to stay out of her reach by standing up. She follows and gets up reaching for it. She continues to reach for it as you dodge her every attempt. Eventually you are on one side of your bed while Cecilia is on the other.

“Sorry Cecilia. You weren't suppose to see that.” you tell her, enjoying this little game of cat and mouse.

“I am sure we can figure out the right price.” Cecilia says very playfully.

And with that Cecilia jumps over the bed to pin you. Unfortunately for her, you drop the paper and grab her instead. With Cecilia in your hands, you push her onto her back onto your bed. Cecilia lets out a small yelp as she realizes she is pinned to the bed. You have both of her hands in yours while you can easily shift you weight where ever to keep her pinned.

With you on top of her, you lean towards her ear and say, “Cecilia, it isn't a matter of money or price. I do what I will because I choose to.”

You slightly change your grip to ensure she cannot escape.

“Sorry Cecilia but you weren't suppose to see that. That is something that my Grandpa would require I seal your lips, permanently.” you continue.

“But you wouldn't do that to me.” Cecilia says with worry in her voice.

“There can be no other way.” you respond, very coolly.

Cecilia is trying to get lose to no avail. She is blushing madly at how close you are to her body. You can feel the softness of her body pressed against your own and the warmth from her face against yours.

You continue to kiss Cecilia's soft and ever so seductive lips until she stops struggling and relaxes. Your lips are eventually separated with a small pop. Cecilia is grasping for breathe from such a kiss.

You once again lean to her ear and say, “I see this isn't enough. I will have to continue to seal you lips until you are unable to say anything.”

Before Cecilia is able to recover, you once again press your lips against hers in a deep kiss. You go even further sealing her lips by using your tongue. You can feel her body turn to pudding in your hands. Add a little bit of the training you learned, you remove your hand from the small of her back and instead reach for the hem of her dress. You slowly slide your hand under and run your fingers along her supple legs. You occasionally switch it up by running your fingers up and down the sides of her body not allowing her dress to hide any of her curves from you. From the bountiful curves of her breasts, to the enticing curves of her hips. It was all revealed before you.

You continue teasing her body and sealing her lips until the compile stops, at least an hour later as there were no errors in the programming. Of course that was normal for someone of your skill.
