October 22, UC 0084.

This is a battle that had its beginnings four years ago: before you formed your “Grim Guard”, before the Titans and their rise to power, and even before the events of Operation Stardust. From the very moment Gihren Zabi rejected peace through his act of patricide, a meeting like this one was bound to take place at some time, in some form. The Zeon forces who fled A Baoa Qu have returned in a last, desperate gamble to defeat the enemy they so despise, whose formation itself was a result of the hatred directed against the pro-Zabi forces who started a war that killed more than three billion people.

Titans and Zeon: both are shadows cast by the flames of hatred, who grow stronger when the hatred mankind has always held for itself burns brightest. They refuse to back down, they refuse to change their methods... they can't be reasoned with, bargained with, or bribed. In order to end their madness you have to strike both forces down here and now, with a single decisive stroke.

Haman continues to shout. "Audrey, one of those missiles changed its course! It tracked its target!"

"That's impossible!" Audrey shouts back. "No conventional systems can work for kilometers around!"

You hear a message come across from Cynthia. "I saw it too... some of these Titans machines seem to be breaking the rules, but I can't sense any Newtypes out here!"

"It's just us," Carrina replies, narrowly dodging a shower of shrapnel from a damaged GM-Sniper as it spirals out of control towards the Titans battle line. "So what... what the hell did Titans do?"

"That thought's gonna have to wait!" you shout. "The two Iotas are inbound our location!"

The massive readings suggest that the two Gundam-type machines headed your way possess reactors running in the 5000kW range: stronger than the combined output of both your Lilium's main generator and the two secondary generators in the Iris' legs. Their bodies come into view on your midrange optics, large and laden with more thrusters and fuel tanks than you'd feel comfortable with.

One of the two machines, the one on your left, splits off towards Carrina and Rossweisse, rolling and jinking to evade blasts from their remote weapons. The other Gundam races towards you, taking glancing shots from Haman's funnels for his trouble. As it closes the distance, your Iota opens up with a small barrage of missiles, which it begins to drop down below so that you can't simply blow the suit and the missiles away at once... clever bastard.

This is probably going to boil down to a melee

I agree, this thing is probably designed for long range combat given it's size and apparent generator output, so it'll probably suck in melee if we can get close.

Retreat back towards the giant doomsday weapon and use it as cover. Coordinate your retreat with the Sisters and Rosse to pincer one machine against the hull of the giant coil gun. We have four machines and dozens of mobile weapons at our disposal here. Pinning one will be difficult, but doable.

And, if worse comes to it, just put a hole through the side of the barrel of the coil gun to silence it. Demill the sumbitch.

Where am I? This place... I was on a battlefield, wasn't I? So what's with this emptiness? Why do I feel such despair?

Is it possible...

"It most certainly is, O'Hara."

Turning to your left reveals a familiar face, framed by long, silver hair that's been drawn back into a ponytail. Anavel Gato.

But you're dead... so does that mean...

"No," Gato replies. "At least, not just yet. But to think, the man who I fought amounted to so little that he could fall for such a simple trick..."

"How very disappointing."

Shut up, you bastard! What the hell is this!? If I'm not dead, then what the hell is going on!?

"You nearly died in that attack. You were too focused on your opponent to notice his trick," Gato's ghost explains. "These machines, which can replicate the skill of a Newtype through purely mechanical means, must have surprised you."

Wait... what trick was that?

For a moment, you can hear a familiar voice shouting at Haman... something about wires?

"That is correct. By attaching guidance wires to their missiles these pilots are capable of maintaining a constant contact link. That is how they can control their weapons through the interference caused by the Minovsky particles in the area."

Even behind you. You realize that there's a weapon there: amidst the missile barrage, there was a hidden device mounting a beam gun. Tiny beads dot the wire trailing behind it, marking its path as it dropped away from the other weapons and maneuvered behind you for a killing blow to your cockpit.

"It's already fired, O'Hara."

No... there's no way it can end like this.

"I see you're resolved to fight anyway? I'm not surprised. That's what I expected from the man who killed me. But tell me this, O'Hara... what is it you fight for?"

"You looked down on the ideals I carried into battle with me. But surely you must have ideals of your own? Why else would you risk your very life time and time again?"

>Write-in only. 20 minutes. Choose your words carefully.
>>
>"You looked down on the ideals I carried into battle with me. But surely you must have ideals of your own? Why else would you risk your very life time and time again?"

"I risk my life because I want this war to end. It might sound idealistic and foolish, but a world where the only thing for certain is that the fighting and killing will start up again isn't a world worth living in. That's why I'm willing to risk everything in order to change this world, so that everyone's life, not just my own, is worth living."
>>
>>39012803
"So that people on earth can see the sky without wondering what's going to fall on them next. So that colonists don't have to worry about getting gassed, blown up or gunned down in the name of madmen and "ideals" whatever those ideals are. So that one day a kid like me doesn't have to kill and kill again to avoid tyranny. It is my fondest wish to be unemployed."

Ghost Gato conveniently being around might help too.
>>
>>39012803
My own ideals? Don't talk bullshit to me, Gato. You know I don't have anything like that.

"Oh? Is that so?" Ghost Gato narrows his eyes dangerously. "Are you sure that's the case?"

Absolutely. I've never fought for myself before, and I'm not doing it now, and I never will. I do this so that kids like me can follow their own paths through life without getting space rocks dropped on their heads for the "ideals" of others. I do it so that the people I love can realize their own dreams, and so people who have awakened as Newtypes as I have can be free of the shackles of the old order. I do it so that one day the world won't need me anymore.

"You fight to create a world where men like us are irrelevant..."

Gato shuts his eyes, deep in thought. "No wonder you fight Zeon and Titans alike so doggedly. You're the opposite of everything the Zabis ever stood for. So long as their shadows remain in this world you'll never be able to rest."

That's a burden I chose. I won't back away from it.

"I see that. I can respect it. But I wonder how long can you live with that burden, Dominic O'Hara?"

The Lilium moves faster than you ever thought possible, the left arm moving with impossible speed and precision. Your reaction begins even before you're consciously aware of it, and you can almost feel the artificial muscles straining to keep up with the demands your mind places on them.

Your machine may not have an I-Field anymore, but it might as well. The beam lancing out towards your back meets a plane of energy, held in place by a new beam emitter that's been placed there: it forms a hexagonal shield of sizzling mega particles that cancels the shot entirely.

Your machine is rocked by explosions as the missiles detonate behind you, sending smaller submunitions slamming into your back. Haman and Audrey both yelp in surprise, though the damage is modest.

"DOM!" Carrina shouts in alarm as your Gundam disappears in a fireball, panic instinctively gripping her even as she opens up on her own target.

But you survived that one. And now, you can answer Gato:

"Easy: until I die, you dumbass."

A round from Audrey's sidearm streaks towards the Iota, only to spark and flicker as it hits an I-Field barrier. Nope. That's not gonna be enough. That's not gonna be NEARLY enough to slow you down. Audrey holsters her weapon, prepping her heat wires with a near instinctive understanding of what you have planed next.

“HAMAN! WIRES!”

As the Iota's pilot tries to move one of those little beam guns to line up a shot, you can feel Haman put all her focus into one bit... rather than trying to shoot it down, instead she rams her own mobile weapon into the Iota's, destroying them both in an instant. Through the resulting fireball your Lilium comes hurtling at a blinding speed, beam shield on the left and saber on the right ignited. The saber glows like a pillar of azure flame as you consciously pour extra energy into it. You can't keep that up for long, but you don't need it for long.

The swing is parried by your opponent's rifle, which you now see bears a beam emitter like a bayonet. Cute.

“USELESS!” you bellow, and a part of you is sure that everyone within a hundred thousand kilometers can hear you. A solid kick from your Lilium's left leg catches the Iota pilot off-guard: clearly, he didn't even conceive the possibility that a veteran pilot would use his beam weapons as a diversion to land a regular kick.

You dump all of the power you can into that leg's thrusters, and spin in place to carry through. The whole Iota is thrown away from you, tumbling in through the void as you send a burst of spot gun fire after it to force your enemy to keep his I-Field up.

“Haman, Audrey, Carrina, Rosse... let's show these knockoffs how a REAL Newtype does things!”

Haman seems shocked at your sudden change in attitude, but quickly nods. “Yeah. Let's do it.”

“Heh... you're even getting Rosse all fired up over here,” Carrina chuckles. “What's gotten into you, man?”

According to the wiki, the writer retconned it so Papsmear didn't do that, Kamile didn't go insane, and Kamile eventually became a doctor like his dad.

The writer retcons stuff when he remembers he needs character alive to write sequels.
>>
>>39014478
Nah, it wasn't for the sake of sequels, A New Translation came out long after the sequels to Zeta. Nah, Tomino just changed things because he's in a better place in his life now than he was when he wrote his "kill them all" plots, and wanted to give the story a happier ending.
>>
>>39014536
Didn't he say the movie was noncanon or an alternate continuity?
>>
>>39014564
He did, yeah. Like I said, it's not meant as a retcon so much as him wanting a version of Zeta that doesn't end on such a down note.
>>
>>39014461
As you hurtle on after the Iota, its pilot frantically launches more shots at you. Any of them that might have stood a chance of touching you are stopped by the beam shields, and his I-Field must be coming close to overheating from the constant stream of beam fire coming from Haman's funnel attacks. You can swear they're even more accurate than usual now, all focused on the one spot where the I-Field generator itself must be located.

"Got you!" Audrey shouts as you finally get into range of her wires, which slam into the Iota's shield before sending a surge of electricity into her victim... or rather, her would-be victim.

The electricity arcs madly across the shield before returning towards your own machine.

"Shit!" Audrey shouts. "Move!"

You only just manage to avoid the energy attack as Audrey disengages her wires. "Those bastards... they must've found a way to counter my shock weapons..."

You're still left in close quarters with the Iota, so you have a few options.

>Beam spot guns, aim for the I-Field generator.

“Audrey. Do me a solid,” you order as you press the advantage. Her heat wires connect a second time with the Iota before reeling you in closer to the mobile suit. Its pilot panics as he tries to draw a bead on you, but you deftly shoot the weapon out of his hands with your beam saber mounts, using them as spot guns.

The Iris' feet connect with the Iota with a satisfying thud.

Resolve washes over you as you move your arms into position, before the Iota even has time to try breaking free of Audrey's wires. “There's no right, no wrong...” you tell yourself aloud, “only THIS MOMENT! THIS PATH I'VE CHOSEN!”

First goes the I-Field. Your beam guns tear through it at point blank range, shredding its inner workings in an instant. Your head vulcans, by now converted to use e-pacs, tear through the Iota's head before its pilot has a chance to try using his own head-mounted guns: the metal melts, distorts, and eventually peels away under the concentrated fire. With your left arm you shoot out the machine's shoulder joints, slagging servos and severing hydraulic lines that would let the machine move its arms.

Pushing off slightly as Audrey releases the magnetic heads of the heat wires, you end with a clean slash through the center of the Iota's chest. You can feel a hint of surprise before the pilot's life fades away in an instant.

“One,” Audrey mutters bitterly.

Turning, you identify that the Iota keeping Carrina busy as well as its escorts, which have finally arrived. They look like a hybrid of the Nemo mass-produced suit and these overpowered, inelegant excuses for Gundams that Titans has sent after you.

>Take out the Iota from here, Carrina and Rosse will make equally short work of the escorts.

“Let her fight,” you announce. “Uninterrupted.”

“Roger,” Audrey replies, connecting her beam pistol to a longer barrel stored on the back skirt armor of the Iris even as you line up a shot on one of the escort MS. One of them passes behind the Iota, falling into a safe zone in the shadow if its charge's I-Field as it lines up a shot on the Viola.

But never gets a chance to fire on your friends. Audrey raises her weapon at your side, and you turn your own hyper rifle to shoot as well. But as it turns out, Audrey has a surprise in store for you. As you fire your own beam, which atomizes one of your targets, your copilot fires a beam just below the column of blue energy. As the two shots crackle, you can see that the second beam has been warped by the overlapping I-Fields that limit the spread of each blast. It tries to maintain a straight line as much as it can, wrapping in a tight spiral along the length of your own beam before it finally breaks away... and hits the machine you'd thought was protected.

“Jesus,” Haman mutters. “How the hell... what was that?”

“I curved the beam,” Audrey explains simply as Rosse and Carrina press the advantage caused by the Iota pilot's moment of hesitation. Of course. Carrina saw that coming.

A piece of wreckage collides with the back of the Iota, courtesy of Rosse's wires, and pulls it in towards Carrina's patiently waiting blades.

It's over in mere seconds, leaving a pile of drifting mechanical limbs as what's left of the Iota passes by the Viola and the Sericea.

"Press the advantage," Carrina muses. "There's nothing else that matters now, right? Dominic?"

All around you, the battle continues to rage. Cruisers are on fire on both lines of battle, though your own Columbus has so far evaded attention. You can tell that they're furiously coordinating the movement of your other teams, who at this distance look like nothing more than tiny pinpricks of fast-moving light. By your count, they're ravaging the Titans fleet from within... but they're still outmatched.

The Zeon fleet's mobile suits are making a push towards the station, having apparently begun to suspect that the Titans are fighting on two fronts now.

I just realized that we figured out what caused the watching feeling that carinna was feeling. Nothing to worry about it's just ghosts.

Question for those who know the gundam lore better than I do. Can psychoframes detect ghosts or is that a biosensor thing only?
>>
>>39016557
What I meant to say was don't fully expend our strength battering the Zeek fleet. Have them fully commit an attack to the Titans, but we ourselves won't fully commit an attack to the Zeeks.

This way, we can also redirect back to our own troops quickly too without being tied down by Voight as well..
>>
>>39016626
In CCA, it was always a bit confusing to me where the line was drawn between the magical T and Amuro's own abilities/insanity: especially since he sees Lalah outside his machine. In Unicorn yes, it seems the Psychoframe has that capability.

Humans do have newtype potential. Or are you saying dom and all the other newtypes aren't human?

Actually I think that might be what happened to Rossie. Being around so many natural newtypes may have stabilized and changed her from a cyber newtype to a natural one.
>>
>>39016832
“Back up our friends, or take out the Zeeks?” you muse.

Rosse snorts to herself. “Indecision? From you?”

“Too many targets,” you counter.

Without a word of explanation, Carrina hurtles off... much to your surprise, in the direction of the Titans fleet.

“Why?” Haman presses as you move to pursue her. “I thought you wanted to kill Voight?”

“If our friends get hurt because I couldn't set aside my hatred for that man,” Carrina replies, “we'd have lost. Carya and Catrina agreed on this much: nothing less than total victory will satisfy.”

“Good,” you agree quietly. “I'd hoped you'd say something like that.”

“Don't go soft on me now,” Carrina shoots back. “Round two is just kicking off!”

You arrive quickly at Emma and Marida's side, while Carrina races to round up Cynthia and Christina.

Both units have sustained damage: the Qubeley piloted by Marida has lost half its head and one of its hands, while the Mk II is covered in blast marks from those wire-guided missiles Titans has been using to such great effect.

"What took you?" Emma taunts as she blasts the leg off a Marasai that's trying to jink its way back into the shadow of a burning Salamis hulk.

Marida laughs. "Don't tell me those idiots were giving you a hard time?"

"I'm done toying with Titans," you reply, and you sense that your fellow pilots have sensed your change in tone. Marida in particular is wondering what must have happened to you for you to suddenly start taking this whole thing so seriously.

"Dominic's taking a fight seriously?" Ilia muses. "We must be fucked."

"No mistakes," you tell them. "We keep it tight, and finish off the Titans mobile suits in one concerted push. Then we deal with Bask himself."

After a moment, you hear a reply.

"Got it." Diana's voice is no longer uncertain: she sounds almost as serious and focused as you are.

Titans may have numbers, and they may have improved their mobile suit lineup... but it's not enough. Nothing they could do would EVER have been enough.

A team of modified GM Sniper II machines are your first victims. You can tell that they're the “Killer First”, led by the well-known ace Hajime Tomino. He dies from a beam rifle shot through the chest, courtesy of Cynthia. His teammates barely seem to notice that their leader has died as Toshizo Itano launches a barrage of wire-guided missiles at your team, which you blast out of the way. A single psycho-missile from Carrina and Rosse is all it takes to send his machine spiraling out of control and into the side of one of the two Alexandrias present.

Sōji Yasuhiko's machine carries two beam cannons on its shoulders, which lance out in massive columns only to be no-sold by Emma's Mk II. As the Val Varo dashes forward, the Lieutenant tries in vain to drop it with his machine gun only to be smashed aside by Ilia's giant claw and crushed. His machine loses power as it leaves the area of operations.

“You bastards!” Iona Gordon shouts across your comms as he rushes forward with beam sabers ignited at his sides, pushing is GM forward with all its power. Its visor drops down as he targets both your cockpit and Audrey's.

“I'll fucking kill yo-”

His last words are cut short as you pull your beam shield up to defend yourself... and release containment of the particles. On one side.

The GM Sniper II piloted by Ensign Gordon careens past you, its entire front half boiled and melted away from your unconventional counterattack. He never stood a chance.

It took mere seconds for the last ace team in the Titans ranks to crumble.

There's enough shock among the Titans forces that they stop firing on you: that lets you send a message to Bask Om's flagship, which you have Reiko and Catharine relay throughout the fleet.

The look of hatred on his face... you can practically feel it from here. “What do you want, traitor? If you wish to surrender and repent, I'll have you know it's too late for that.”

“This is Captain Dominic O'Hara. I'm addressing the Titans fleet,” you announce. “For his role in the assault on the civilians of Libot Colony, I am placing the war criminal Bask Om under arrest. Stand down and you will be allowed to live.”

“Refuse,” Haman adds, “and you will either be killed by the Zeon attackers, or by us. Those are your only options.”

“What a foolish ultimatum!” Bask declares as a near-miss from a distant Musai rocks his bridge. “I am the only one with the power here! I am in control! Titans is MINE! We will lead the human race forward to its great destiny!”

Though Bask Om is absolutely resolute in his desire to fight to the death, you sense his crew and the other Titans here just need one little push.

Is this the man you wish to give your lives for? Is his AMBITION worth DYING for?!

Hey, it worked on sideshow Bob

this
>>
>>39019016
“This man would sacrifice all your lives for nothing,” you tell the fleet quietly, ignoring the madman in front of you for now. “Please don't let that happen.”

Even the Zeon forces have slowed their rate of fire, no doubt because their ships can hear this argument as well. Thousands of soldiers all across the battlefield are listening in to hear what you'll say next.

Bask Om's image on your HUD looks increasingly demented. “It's our DESTINY...”

“Bask Om,” you interrupt angrily. “I've heard quite enough about your destiny. You've done more to degrade our species than anyone but Gihren Zabi himself. Your “destiny”, your ambitions, your madness... I reject it all utterly. And I'm sure the souls of the billions killed by both sides agree with me.”

In that moment, perhaps fueled by your words, you feel like more than your comrades and soulmates are behind you. It's as if a vast army is at your back, urging you forward along the path you've chosen.

The Commodore reaches forward, punching in a series of commands on his console. “I'd rather blast my own ship from the sky and take you with me than surrender! I WILL WIN! HISTORY WILL REMEMBER WHAT I...”

Haman winces in front of you as the screen is spattered with a mist of carmine dots and a shot rings out, blasting through Bask Om's head. His mad expression never changes, not even registering the surprise from his own sudden death. From off screen a Titans officer floats into view, left hand still holding his sidearm as he salutes you with his right.

Bask Om's now uninhabited body slowly drifts away, bumping lazily off the deck.

“My apologies, Captain O'Hara,” he tells you. “The war criminal has been executed.”

“What are your orders?”

And so we complete the circle, and fully become Mirror Universe Scirocco.
>>
>>39019305
Had I seen this before I started writing I'd have used some of it. Sorry, mate.

>>39019480
And that is it for tonight.

Next week: you and what's left of the Titans fleet will handle the Zeon fleet. Expect a much better fight from Voight than you got from Riddick: really, though? He was probably always gonna go out like a bitch.

Thanks for playing, and hope you had as much fun as I did!
>>
>>39019480
Someone buy that man a beer!
>>
>>39019500
Funny isn't it

>>39019530
How many Titans do we now command, and do we have effective control over the six-shooter now?
>>
>>39019530
>Had I seen this before I started writing I'd have used some of it. Sorry, mate.
Would it have worked?
>>
>>39019530
Thanks for running, KoH. It was fun as always. See you next time.

What happened to the Jormungands that Voight used? Are we going to deal with that shit next time?
>>
>>39019530
Woo, this was a good one. I say this with pretty much every thread, but still: I am really looking forward to seeing where this goes. Thanks for running, Hearts.
>>
>>39019500
Now there can be only one Dom/Scirocco!
>>
i wonder.

What if we fire the nuke gun into the center of the zeon formation.

Or we send it forward into their formation.

And rig it to blow.
>>
>>39019530
>Had I seen this before I started writing I'd have used some of it. Sorry, mate.
Its alright. Ironic though, since I am both >>39019305 and >>39019083
>>
>>39019606
I'll tell you now, they're still hidden. Voight couldn't move them fast enough.

>>39019575
Not many. Their ships are badly beaten, and there are exactly 9 of their machines left in varying states of repair.

Zeon is a bit better off, in part because of what Voight himself brought to the table. I actually want you to know what it is: a custom Doven Wolf, and three machines called "Kämpfer Ablösung". How his team works is a secret.
>>
>>39019619
We still have Axis Zeon to deal with.

I think if things snowball in our favor like it has been, then Scirocco will fall back to Mars or Jupiter can come back with a much stronger force.

>>39019646
Using nukes leaves a dirty taste in my mouth.

Although I have no issue blowing up six shooter and if it takes out Voight, good for us.
>>
>>39019530
Thanks for running.
Can we gat the Iota Gundam when this over?
>>
>>39019646
>>39019686
We can use on Axis it is coming!
>>
>>39019686

We need to blow up the gun anyways.

Might as well make use of it to make a big boom.
>>
>>39019646
They're too close now, we can't risk blowing up our own guys as well.

Now, blowing up Axis, that I can get behind.
>>
>>39019682
If it's not too much, how many ships and suits does Voight have left?

And ouch, just read the wiki on the Doven Wolf.

>>39019742
>>39019746
Can we use the linear accelerator without nukes? Something that powerful doesn't need nukes.
>>
>>39019746
Screw that, let's attach it to the Nagato.
>>
>>39019771
>Can we use the linear accelerator without nukes? Something that powerful doesn't need nukes.

And use it to take out his capital ships?

Hmmmmm.

Might be doable.
>>
>>39019742
Doesn't Axis has like 30,000 people? If possible, I would like to defeat them without killing everybody...
>>
>>39019686
Would it be possible to change the payloads of the shells for Six Shooter?
Perhaps we could use it to rapidly transport materials to Mars once we deal with Axis guy, or would it be mechanically infeasible to do. I would think that you merely have to lower the velocity, possibly put some timed retro rockets on the front of the container-shells to decelerate and re-calibrate the targeting system to put the containers in a near orbit of Mars...
>>
>>39019771
A Gwazine, his own team, and a mix of Gyan Kriegers, ReGelgs, and Zaku II F2s. Not 100% sure how many, but probably around 14 total.
>>
>>39019682
>Kämpfer Ablösung
Fighter detachment by google
>>
>>39019771
>Can we use the linear accelerator without nukes? Something that powerful doesn't need nukes.
It's a long ranged bombardment platform. Its designed for finicky targeting over massive distances, not close in snapshots. Also, if Bask could have fired it, he would have.
>>
>>39019798
The are on mars now I believe.
>>
>>39019805
>A Gwazine, his own team, and a mix of Gyan Kriegers, ReGelgs, and Zaku II F2s.

Remaining Titans supported by Emma and the purus can go after the Gyans, Gelgoogs and zakus.

Our first team goes up against the boss man and his own team.
>>
>>39019811
Close.
>>
>>39019850
Who were in the Iotas?
Also, what suits do the Titans have left?
>>
>>39019850

are they designed for Hit and Run tactics, possibly outfitted with various countermeasures to increase their survivability, possibly designed like glass cannons relying on the battlefield conditions rather than high strength I-fields or heavy armour...
>>
>>39019876
Nobody worth note. The remainder of Titans are modified GM Sniper IIs and Marasais, for the most part.
>>
>>39019799
>>39019831
I kinda want to use a non-nuclear six-shooter to threaten all sides to the negotiating table so we can end the conflict early and focus on restoring earth and stuff.

>>39019836
Really? I forget if that's true or not...
>>
>>39019831
Yeah. If we get Alice on it, we could probably nail Jupiter from here. Not to mention Axis, which is still the largest threat to the entire Earth sphere.

Which is honestly why we should keep the station. Or at least the gun - attach it to the Nagato and have a mobile rail gun ready.
>>
>>39019923
The gun's a fair bit bigger than the Nagato. Moving it isn't going to work very well.
>>
>>39019922
>>39019923
This!
>>
I have a really stupid idea, but can we modify the six shooter to shot shatter shots, so it can be effective against fleets?

Like a space shotgun.
>>
>>39019530
>Zeon fleet

It's easier to distinguish the Remnants from the Republic in this session, but I hate having to always put effort in distinguishing Voight's forces (Remnants, Zeeks, whathaveyou) from the Republic and Cima for every post.

I vote to nickname Ronan's fleet and MS teams "Garden Gnomes" at this point until they are subdued.
>>
>>39019959
I agree we need a better naming system, but why Garden Gnomes?
>>
>>39019912
Huh, would have expected more Gaplants. They were apparently mass produced.
>>
>>39019999
Not that anon, but I'd guess because their base is in the Garden of Thorns.
>>
>>39019999
Because they live in the Garden of Thorns and they tinker with shit, I think.
>>39020001
Mostly on offensive deployments.
>>
>>39019999
Their base is the Garden of Thorns and for the sake of parallelism with our team's Grim Guard. GG, right? Okay, that last bit's kinda lame.

And their disturbing tendency to move around when no one is keeping an eye on them.
>>
>>39019958
You don't need to modify the SS, just the payload it delivers. So it'd be a simple fix.

>>39019944
Still, destroying it should be our last resort now that we've got some of the Titans on our side. Everyone else has a superweapon in their arsenal - Axis has launched a giant meteor towards us, Papsmear has a colony laser, Zeon will probably find those Jormangunds, and the Jovians can just embargo us and wreck the economy.

We need that thing for the long run.
>>
>>39019959
Zeon either way.
Zeon Remnants (ZR), Principality of Zeon (PoZ)
2nd Republic of Zeon (RoZ)
Mars/Axis Zeon

I don't really care they are zeon.
>>
I've just been thinking about what to say to Voight if we get that change to speak:

"Normally I'm a man of mercy and second chances. But here, you are surrounded by all your sins. By all the laws of justice, you should be punished by every single one of them.

But I want you to do one thing. Beg. Get down on your knees and beg for the forgiveness for everything you have done. Plead that you'll make everything right, one way or another. Repent to the people you have hurt."

we're going to kill him anyways
>>
>>39020092
>Everyone Ought has a superweapon in their arsenal

>Mars has launched a Axis towards us
Yes
>Papsmear has a colony laser
We don't know yet, John Kowen might gat it.
>ZR will probably find those Jormangunds, and the Jovians can just embargo us and wreck the economy.
Yes
>>
>>39020021
Lets just open fire with the laser ablation array at the Garden Gnomes.
>>
>>39020504
I admit, I do want payback for that one time they sprang that superweapon trap on us.
We'd stack in some extra interest if we use the Six Shooter against them though.
>>
>>39020604
Again, Bask would have used it against them if it were possible.
>>
>>39020092
>Jovians can just embargo us and wreck the economy.
Who run Barter Town?
>>
>>39020623
Why don't we stuff an MS into a warhead instead, make the shell as hard as possible, fire it at the Gwazine and watch it rip apart the Gwazine before the MS pops out?

yes im drunk
