No point burning through your mana before you even get to the tower if you can help it. Bridgeway it is.

“Okay team, let's go,” you gesture, the rest of the group following as you head back for the Bridgeway. It's a little tragic how little effort it took to become the de-facto leader of the party. Not that you like the idea of taking orders mind you.

The Bridgeway is as packed as ever, countless humans, not to mention some elves, dwarves, orcs and other stranger things all shoulder to shoulder swarming across the vast bridges that connect the islands of the Great City. In amongst the press you spot the occasional stand set up from which cults, guilds and anyone else can hawk their particular way of life to anyone who'll listen.

As you slip out into the less packed side of the Bridgeway's crowd, you find a pamplet waving in front of your face. This is the one unpleasant part of taking the bridgeway route you suppose.

“Hello there, have you ever considered the benefits of true unity and harmony throughout the great city?”

You look from the pamplet to the woman brandishing it, all shiny white teeth and bright eyes, dressed in some rather unflattering grey outfit which does a tragically good job of hiding her curves. She's pretty, but that wide-eyed look is weirding you out just a little.

“Maybe another time, got places to be right now I'm afraid.”

“Oh dear, this lack of time for consideration is part of the problem of this chaotic world we live in, please, take this, and consider how much better your life would be with true unity,” the woman chimes, jamming a pamplet into your hands, and trying to do the same for the rest of your party. Iden waves it off, Valia takes it with a nervous nod, and Razi takes a copy then promptly tears it in half with a dismissive sniff.

You glance down at the pamplet as you walk away. “Unity Guild, One Guild for a Brighter City, Reclaim the Motherland from the Goblin Hordes, Find your True Purpose In Life for a Better Tomorrow.” Riiight, you've never heard that before.

“One guild for a brighter city,” Iden mutters, flicking through the pamplet.

“Another one of those, are they like a new Peacekeepers Guild or something?” he asks, scrunching up the pamplet and tossing it aside.

“Who knows, I guess they could have formed from some of the same people after the Peacekeepers Guild disbanded,” you shrug, leafing through the pages.

Every few years it seems like someone has an idea to be the one guild to unite the city, pure lust for power is all it is. Last one was the Peacekeepers Guild, though that dreary dream ended when Grand Peacekeeper Domaro took a nosedive out the window of his eightieth storey villa home, while tied to a statue of himself, which ended when he landed on seventeen knives and one pike, staff-end first.

“Goodness, they say here that with true unity they could retake the mainland from the goblin hordes within ten years,” Valia gasps, reading intently until you remove the pamphlet from her hand, shredding it.

Valia blinks up at you, and you give a shrug. “You seem like the sort of person who's easy to sucker into cults, no offence.”

“It sounds stupid,” Razi mutters.

>>40282208
“Well put, Razi, now I think this is our turning,” you nod, stepping off the Bridgeway into a side street.

From here you need to look around on the underbridge causeways to Mason Lane, then through there to Crumbletown. Not a classy area, but there's enough guild activity around to keep the gangs from getting too confident, at least until Crumbletown.

Valia gulps as you step out onto the underbridge causeways, the wood creaking ominously beneath your feet, as it always does. Best not to think about the drop beneath.

“You can hold on to me if you want, Valia,” you smile, and regret it somewhat when the sorceress traps your arm in a vice-like grip, and doesn't even have the decency to press her chest up against you while doing so. By the end of the walk along the causeways, you've lost most of the feeling with it, and are as relieved as Valia is to be back on solid ground.

You walk out onto mason's lane, which has very few masons these days, since most moved shop to nicer quarters in stonecutter avenue, or went out of business entirely. It's mostly squatters and Smokers Guild stalls these days, peddling alchemical drugs to the downtrodden. Unfortunately, that's not all it is, and it looks like the Sunbringers are doing another food drive for the poor and unfortunate in the name of good public image and maybe even a genuine concern for those less fortunate than themselves. That second one's a pretty big minority though.

Oh, and it gets better, that's Juliana at the front looking as haughty as ever. Someone you trained with, and someone who wasn't too fond of you even before you joined a cult of sexual deviants. Boy will she ever be happy to see you.

Yeah, you really don't want to deal with Juliana right now, that girl's got one hell of a stick lodged up her ass.

...now there's an image.

Anyway, you step over to the other side of your group, bending your knees a little as you walk, since you teamed up with three people who didn't have the good decency to be tall enough to hide you easily.

“What are you doing?” Razi asks, frowning at you.

“Just trying to avoid any meetings that might slow down our adventure is all,” you shrug.

“A-are you in trouble with the Sunbringers, Jareth?” Valia asks, eyes wide.

“Not trouble exactly, no, now just act natural,” you reply.

You pass the Sunbringers and the cluster of squatters and unfortunates surrounding them without incident, and you breathe a sigh of relief, at least until you hear an all too familiar voice from behind you.

“Jareth, you worthless degenerate, what do you think you're doing here?”

Rolling your eyes, you look back to Juliana, who is busy shoving her way through the crowd of hungry downtrodden.

“Working, can't you tell, I'm an adventurer now.”

“I've heard exactly what you are, Jareth, an Elshhuan pervert, deviant and rapist!”

“Hey, I don't actually rape people you know, that's religious slander. You should watch that, some cults are less forgiving than mine,” you shrug.

“Forgiving, I don't need your forgiveness, you... you... manwhore!” she screams, a pair of glowing golden wings erupting from her back, oh brother, girl needs to watch her temper.

For a minute I wonder if she's about to start a fight right here and now, until another, older Sunbringer steps out of the crowd.

“Juliana, what are you doing?”

“I was-”

“We're here to feed these people, not demolish their homes, so put those away and go grab a ladle.”

With one last sour look, Juliana spins on her heels and stomps back into the crowd, the wings fading away to nothing as she goes.

“Good seeing you again, Julie,” you call, seeing another flare of golden light from the crowd as her wings erupt once more, only for her to be snapped at again by the older Sunbringer.

“What was that all about?” Iden asks, glancing back at the crowd as you walk away.

“I dunno, what did you leave Golden Rock for?”

“Point taken. Come on, we're almost at Crumbletown.”

Crumbletown is as cheery as you remember, built into the decaying ruin of an old bridgeway, it seems like it's shrunk back a few more metres every time you see it. The blue tower is off the edge of the town itself, suspended over the water, connected to crumbletown by a series of rope bridges between old support columns.

“It looks kind of creepy, d-doesn't it,” Valia gasps, gazing up at the tower with its weathered grey stone, capped in some sort of bluish-grey roof.

“Any of you ever been to the blue tower before?”

You're pretty sure you know the answer to that one before asking it, and sure enough, you're greeted with a trio of blank expressions.

“Great, then let's go talk to some people, see what we can find out,” you grin, looking at your assembled companions.

“...you know, on second thoughts, how about you all just stick with me, and I'll go talk to some people and see what I can find out.”

“Yeah, that sounds good,” Iden nods, Razi looking away with a sniff, Valia looking heartily relieved.

The blue tower's on the far side of Crumbletown, which means if you just start grabbing people at random and bugging them for info, you should have a pretty good picture of things by the time you get there.

You make your way through Crumbletown talking to anyone and everyone. Most know very little beyond that the tower is dangerous, a few respond to your endearing curiosity with threats of violence or demands for outrageous payment, one of them even said he wouldn't tell you anything until your 'three pretty ladies show me their tits', the look on Iden's face made that encounter worth it at least. Thankfully, in amongst the useless, lazy and creepy inhabitants of the town, you do manage to find a few who aren't a complete waste of time.

A hunched old trollkin man claims to have helped renovate the tower in his youth back when they were planning to patch up the whole crumbletown bridgeway. Says they had to abandon work when some sort of toothy little monsters started nesting on the bottom levels and the Architects Guild deemed it not to be cost effective to remove them. From how he describes them, they're four legged, hairy, and pretty much just a big mouth on legs complete with pointy teeth.

A bunch of Troglodytes roasting a dire possum over a flame warn you that they've spotted some sort of man-bat thing lurking up near the tower's cap, you thank them and move on very quickly before the stink can cling to you.

Finally, an old, obese hobbit woman being wheeled around in a wheelbarrow by her brother, or husband, or both, informs you that in her youth she was the mistress to a high ranked guild member operating out of Crumbletown, who seemed to think that there might be some old documents and jewelry stashed up in the top floor from back when the tower was in use.

“Y-you're very good at talking to people, Jareth,” Valia comments as you head for the tower, giving a nervous smile.

“Well, we all have our gifts, Valia,” you smile, patting her on the shoulder, taking a moment to admire her most prominent gifts. Heh, when you pat her they jiggle just a little.

“So hairy monsters in the bottom, some bat monster at the top, and maybe some loot at the top too, is that right?” Iden asks.

“That's right. Everyone ready?”

“Y-yes.”

“Yeah.”

“Yes.”

“Great, let's go.”

Once again you find yourself subjected to Valia's vice-like grip as you traverse the rope bridges to the blue tower. The sorceress whimpers as the bridge sways beneath you in the breeze, and you give her a reassuring pat on the hand, if only in the vain hope that she'll allow the blood flow to once again make its way down to your hand.

The tower was quite an impressive sight from afar, but up close it looks more shabby than anything, overgrown with moss and weeds, stained with bird droppings, bricks cracked and falling away.

“Is that finmoss?” Razi asks, gesturing to a patch of bluish moss growing out of the stone in a distinctly fin-like fashion.

“So it is, we're off to a good start,” you smile, plucking the patch of moss off the wall and placing it in the box, looks like you still have a long way to go to fill it though.

“Looks like you go in through here, unless you feel like climbing up the outside,” Iden comments, looking up at the vines clinging to the side of the tower.

And we should be pretty good at throwing things, so if we ever need to do the javelin portal trick, we provide the brute force, Valia does the magic portal bit.
>>
>>40283955
Jareth doesn't know specifically, but most spellcasters either meditate or undergo some sort of special ritual.
>>
>>40283970
Jareth knows how to use weapons from his Sunbringer initiate days, but his training in Elshhuan magic is meant for unarmed combat, so he can't really channel his power through weapons in as efficient a way as he can unarmed. Elshhuan martial arts were designed with the distinct possibility of being caught with your pants down in mind, after all.

Of course Jareth is still perfectly capable of using his mana to enhance a throw or a weapon strike by channeling power into his muscles.

“Iden, do your ghosty thing,” you nod.

“You're going to have to be more specific,” Iden frowns.

“Scout, Iden, scout.”

“Right, okay.”

Iden clears his throat, stretching out both his hands as you feel the mana surging up his arms, congealing into an invisible mass beneath his palms.

With a rush of cold air, the mana pulse fades, leaving a near-transparent figure in its place.

“What now, Iden, ya fuck,” a hoarse voice whispers, the ghostly figure taking on the vague form of a somewhat chunky middle-aged balding man, hardly an inspiring spectacle.

“I need you to scout ahead, Worper, tell us what's up ahead.”

“Fine, ya fruit, I'm going,” the ghost grumbles, fading away again as he drifts through the wall.

“Is that what you summon every time?” you ask, raising an eyebrow.

“No, no, I have some far better spirits than that, well, a bit better. It's just that Worper's the most cost-effective, mana-wise, because, well, he's useless for most things,” Iden explains, as the four of you loiter, waiting for the spectre of a balding middle-aged asshole to return with news.

“Yeah, it looks shitty in there,” the nasal voice returns as Worper floats back out through the wall.

“Details, Worper,” Iden sighs.

“Don't rush me, ya girly-haired rentboy, I'm getting to it. Whole buncha ugly-ass hairy things nesting on the bottom two floors, all up on the ceiling and hiding in boxes and under drawers and shit.”

“Anything else?” you ask, Worper turning to you with a sneer.

“Who's this, Iden, yer pimp?”

“Just answer the question, Worper.”

“Dunno, couple a dead bodies, probably retards like you, looks like those hairy things chewed 'em down to the bones,” Worper shrugs.

“Right, thank you Worper.”

“Yeah, yeah,” the ghost grumbles, fading away into non-existence.

“You need to stop summoning him,” Razi sighs.

“I will when I find another ghost that easy on the mana to maintain,” Iden grumbles.

“Razi, you said something about making people harder to hurt, right, can you do that?”

“Of course,” Razi sighs, clapping her slender hands together. You feel a spike of mana running through you, it makes you feel a little numb, and stiff... not in the way you're used to, either. You tap your forearm, you can still feel, somewhat, but your flesh feels rather unyeilding and cold.

“T-that felt creepy,” Valia whimpers, earning a glare from the necromancer girl.

“Okay, here's the plan. Razi, you animate the bodies in there to distract them, then we strike. Valia, remember you can throw 'em outside with a portal, let the drop do the rest. Let me worry about the heavy fighting, you two watch the flanks and look out for Valia,” you explain, the group nodding along with your plan.

Razi steps up to the door, squinting into the gloom. Curling her fingers into a claw, you feel another pulse of mana escaping her grasp, followed by a rattling and clattering from within as the skeletal remains return to some semblance of life. Razi doesn't seem to be capable of bringing them back completely, so instead you wind up with some sort of bizarre two-headed scurrying thing running around haphazardly on four bony legs.

It stumbles about for several seconds before you hear another noise from within.

“Guh?”

“Gah!”

“Ruhh”

Then a swarm of small, furry creatures burst from every corner of the room, converging on the skeletal creation. They're about the size of a small dog, with shaggy black hair and four stumpy arms ending in clawed hands. Their heads seem to just be one big toothy mouth, any other features hidden beneath the tangled fur.

“Alright, let's do this,” you grin, slapping a fist into your palm as you step through the door. The skeletal thing is being subjected to dozens of snapping jaws, splintering away at bone and pulling off chunks.

Suddenly, the ribs at its centre spring open, snapping shut over a pair of the furry creatures, impaling them. You swear you catch a slight smirk from Razi as it happens.

You make sure to look up as you enter, but it seems that all of the furry things already jumped down, some of them recognizing the new threat and turning to face you.

One launches itself at you with a “grah!”, mouth open wide, and you meet it with a hard punch across the side of the jaw, knocking it bouncing off of the stonework with a squeak.

“Every one of you fuckers it about to have a very bad day,” you grin, as the swarm turns its attention to you, a chorus of angry sounds issuing forth as they hurl themselves at you.

You let the sparks of golden energy flow through you, arcing between your palms, crackling from your skin. The furry little monsters don't know what they've gotten themselves into.

Your bend your knees, sweeping into a low, powerful stance, fists extended outwards, then the swarm hits you, or more accurately, you hit the swarm a split second before. Punishing blows flash outwards with pinpoint accuracy guided by mana-infused muscle, the strikes coming too fast for the creatures to so much as squeal as you knock them flying every which way, battered and bloody. One comes in low, scurrying for your shin, and meets the bottom of your boot instead, giving a squeak as you stomp it flat on the stone floor. Another hurls itself for your face, and you bring the ball of your hand down on its skull, slapping it down to the floor next to its flattened comrade.

You take a calming breath, glancing around to your comrades, who all look pretty healthy, looks like you weathered most of that storm for them. Razi is prodding one of the dead creatures with the top of her sword, prompting the creature to cough up its entire skeletal structure, which she gathers up into a pouch... Creepy.

Looking around at the others, Valia is staring back at you wide-eyed, while Iden is busy dragging a screeching, rattling, chest out of the door of the tower, tossing it and its furry cargo over the edge to the waves below. How did he even get them in there?

“T-that was amazing Jareth. Are you sure you've never done this before?” Valia asks, gasping.

“Not really, I've had a lot of training, and I've been in a few fights, but I wasn't joking about being a total rookie at adventuring,” you shrug.

“Well I'm not complaining, with you around we might be able to earn some real gold,” Iden comments, dusting off his hands as he strolls back inside.

“Good work everyone, we've got another floor of these things above us if your ghost friend's report was accurate,” you grin, pointing up.

“He's not my friend,” Iden mutters, folding his arms.

“S-so what now, we loot everything right, and put it in our pockets?” Valia asks, looking around at the dusty, somewhat demolished room, picking up a slightly shiny old nail and inspecting it intently.

“How about we save the looting until we're done. Not like it's going anywhere, and I don't really want to fight with pockets crammed full of junk,” you shrug.

“How about another skeletal distraction, Razi?” you ask.

Razi sighs, emptying some of the bones she's been gathering onto the ground, letting them shift into a strange many-legged skeleton monster, complete with those large, many-toothed jaws.

“I can't keep doing this all day you know,” she comments, as the thing scurries off up the stairs.

A few seconds later, like clockwork, you hear the strange cries of the furry monsters as they attack the intruder, the four of you racing up the stairs before the fight can end. The second floor is much like the first, dusty, trashed, dung-covered, and filled with hungry little hairballs all scrapping over the bones of Razi's creation.

Same old same old.

“Alright team, we've got this,” you grin, letting the mana flare up into your fists once more, crackling, sparking golden energy flaring up, lighting the room.

The furry monsters swarm for you, predictable as ever. These things are dumb animals, plain and simple. You catch the first two as they hurtle at you, slamming their heads together mid-leap, crashing down into the fray as you land, bringing a fist down onto one of the creatures, which gives a squeak as you punch it straight through the wooden boards to the floor below.

Pivoting on your heel you spin around to meet he confused monsters, which now find you in the midst of them, and you uppercut one caught mid-jump, sending it bouncing off the ceiling, falling back down to the floor with a yelp.

You manage to get a look at your companions fighting from this angle, Razi cutting into the monsters with her sword, drawing forth what to you looks like an unnaturally heavy spray of blood. Iden is fending off three of the things as they hop around him, snapping at his heels, at least until a heavy cabinet falls on them, a squelch of blood spraying out the sides as the three unfortunate creatures as crushed beneath. Valia is mostly safe, the siblings and yourself doing a good job of drawing attention away from the nervous sorceress, and the rare monster that does go for her finds itself vanishing through gaps in the air to who knows where, most likely outside if she's following your suggestion.

Soon the furry horde is defeated, and once more you find yourselves standing in an empty room filled with old furniture and mangled remains.

“Is that all of them?” Iden asks, as you spot a vague spectral figure drifting out of the fallen cabinet, vanishing into the aether.

“Looks like it. I'd say we've got the hang of this adventure thing,” you grin, looking around at your fine handiwork. Okay, so killing a room full of things that don't reach up to your knee is hardly your greatest achievement, but you like to take pride in what you do.

“So the rest is all empty until we reach the top, right, where the bat thing is?”

“D-do we really need to fight the bat thing?” Valia asks, looking across to the three of you.

“Well, it IS at the top of the tower, it feels appropriate,” you shrug.

“I-I'm not saying we can't, just that we can probably gather enough moss from the rest of the floors without fighting him.”

“But then we won't get at that treasure that old hobbit said was up top,” Iden sighs.

“If she was telling the truth,” Razi adds.

“O-okay, but let's be careful, it sounds rather scary,” Valia nods, as the four of you start heading up the stairs towards the creature's lair.

The further up you get, the dustier and more cobweb-infested it gets, you suppose the furry monsters never came up this high. Which also means there's probably more salvageable loot up here, since it hasn't all been gnawed on. For now though, you leave it be, making for the top floor.

“Alright team, plan time. Iden, send a ghost up there to scout, and find good things to possess. Razi, toughen us up.”

You turn your attention to the sorceress, placing a hand on Valia's shoulder, bringing a blush to her cheeks. Too easy.

“When we go up there, Valia, you keep an eye out in case it has ranged attacks, if it does, you can redirect them. Last thing anyone wants is something gross and sticky all over them.”

“R-right Jareth,” she nods.

“You two try to distract it, damage the wings if you can, make it go down Hard,” you continue, turning to the siblings.

“Finally, I come in fast and brutal, make it intimate with my fists until it begs for its bat-daddy. Then comes the big finish, with all the reward waiting for us.”

Valia nods along, smiling broadly, bless her. The siblings' expressions suggest that they were not quite so oblivious to the full scope of what you just said.

“Really?” Razi sighs.

“Well, innuendo aside it's a sound plan,” Iden shrugs, sending a surge of mana through his palms as he draws forth another spirit. A different one this time, a girl in her late teens, outrageously long hair billowing around her in an ghostly wind.

“Seffi, can you go up and check things out upstairs for us?”

“Sure thing, Iden, buuuut...”

“Yeah, I'll get them for you later, promise,” he shrugs.

“Gilbrant's a total hack,” Razi sniffs.

“T-that's not true, he's a very well respected scholar of arcane techniques and manipulation.”

“Just means he was good at hiding what a hack he was.”

“My sister's being rude, but she's not completely wrong, a lot of Gilbrant's stuff just makes no sense,” Iden shrugs.

Elshhu save you from dull arcane shop talk, maybe you should just start talking about Elshhuan religious rites to balance things out. Here's a surprise, it's pretty much all fucking.

Thankfully, the teen ghost girl reappears not too long afterwards, ending the argument over whether or not Gilwhatever is a hack.

“There's some real creepy looking guy up there, bigger than any of you, and all bat-looking, hanging from the ceiling.”

“Anything else?”

“Well, yeah, he's been listening to all you've been saying.”

“I knew we shouldn't have discussed this at the bottom of the stairs,” Iden grumbles.

“His ears are huuuge, I think he's been listening for longer than that,” the ghost explains, splaying her fingers at the sides of her head in a pantomime of bat ears.

“Well take your moss and get out, but you come up here, you're dead. You stink like sex, the bitchy one keeps rattling when she walks, the spineless one smells like ectoplasm, and the whiny one makes my ears hurt.”

“I'm not spineless,” Iden mutters, folding his arms.

“So much for making me feel conflicted about hurting it, I'm feeling pretty good about the idea right now,” Razi frowns.

“W-whiny?”

Negotiations seem to be off to a fantastic start here.

Youll have to explain here, what dynamics, the party has barely done anything, weve got Bitch, Nervous, and Friendly.

Why are you only reacting to this NOW? No one gave a shit about it. Are you the same person or something?

Sighing, you put a foot on the bottom step, the old wood creaking under your weight.

“Weren't you listening bloodsack, come up here and die,” the voice shrieks from above.

“Is this really necessary? You seem like a nice guy, you're just not used to dealing with people, right?” you continue, slowly making your way up the steps, your party following nervously behind.

“I said GET OUT!” the man-bat shrieks, crashing into the ground at the top of the stairs, spraying spittle in your face.

You smile, wiping it off and moving up another step, placing a hand on his fuzzy shoulder.

“You want a drink? I could use a drink, what say we all go get a drink?”

“I don't want a drink, I want you to leave,” the man-bat snarls, towering over you, his squashed face snarling, revealing a row of pointed teeth.

“Yes you do, bet you don't get much good to drink up here,” you smile, walking around to the side of the man-bat, patting him on the back and guiding him back down the stairs, the rest of your party parting to let him through with an array of confused and worried faces.

“If I drink with you, then you'll leave me in peace?”

“If that's what you want, friend,” you grin.

Twenty minutes later you and the party are in what passes for a tavern in Crumbletown, the patrons nervously eyeing the hulking man-bat monster sat on a comically small seat at your table, a noticeably large gap around your group.

Valia clutches the box, now filled with finmoss.

The man-bat knocks back another round of the piss-weak ale, most of it spilling down his front due to a lack of ordinary lips, not that he seems to mind.

“Is this really how our first adventure is ending?” Iden grumbles.

“I don't feel like an adventurer,” Razi sighs.

“N-no-one got hurt, and we got what we came for, that's good, right?” Valia comments, hugging the box tight to her stomach.

“I'm comfortable with how this one ended,” you shrug, taking another swig of your drink as the man-bat launches into a bout of chittery high-pitched laughter watching a drunkard slip off his stool at the bar.

Job well done.

Well that's that, first session of Disciple of Elshhu Quest over. Hope you all enjoyed it, I know I did.

I can stick around for q&a if people have any questions about anything.

>>40289516
Thanks for running!
>>
>>40289516
haha, awesome
>>
>>40289516
That was fucking great.
>>
The lack of smut is disappointing. On the other hand, it was a great first thread!
>>
>>40289516
Fucking amazing, thanks for running, man
>>
>>40289541
What are orcs like in this setting? Similar to OWQ or something different?
>>
>>40289598
The smut will come. If you'd fought the man-bat I was fully expecting you to exhaust your mana supplies and have to engage in at the very least some minor lewdness with someone.

>>40289621
Orcs are more standard in this one, they don't have addictive jizz or any of that jazz, just big green people with a penchant for violence.
>>
>>40289644
>The smut will come.
I am sure it will, all over her face too.
Speaking of, our sorceress is so adorably naive. Are we going for her first?
>>
>>40289598
I always find that quests labelled for smut tend to have less smut than average, don't know why. Love the mechanics of this quest though, good job Lordy.
>>
>>40289695
voting for the trap, myself.
>>
>>40289644
How much of a presence will smut have in this quest? Will it be a primary thing or will it be just some kind of bonus?
>>
>>40289695
She definetly seems the easiest one, so probably. I am more interested in the siblings, though.
>>
>>40289740
>I am more interested in the siblings, though.
>Eventually play Lucky Pierre between them
>>
>>40289721
A fair amount, since it's how you recharge power, and you will probably also do it for fun.
>>
>>40289516
Holy shit, what the hell. That's exactly the best way things could have ended for our first adventure/quest thread.

I have great and wondrous hopes for this quest.
>>
Oh, almost forgot the end of thread post. Silly me.

You sigh, flopping back onto the bedsheets, the woman is insatiable, you've lost count of how many times it's been now. This was exactly what you needed after all that... unpleasantness earlier.

“How was it?” a voice asks, making you start.

You look up to see a man standing at the foot of the bed, smirking.

“Who're you, what're you doing in here?”

“The name's Artor, and that there you just got done fucking is my wife, Senta,” he explains.

You lock up, fully aware that you are now naked, in bed with a guy's wife, and the guy doesn't look like a pushover.

“So, how was it?”

“Not bad, he lacks experience, but he more than makes up to it in other areas,” the woman grins, stretching languidly on the bed.

You are not waiting around to see how this one ends, last thing you want a mere day after abandoning your entire lousy life is to end up getting shanked by some angry husband in the room of a sleazy inn.

You take off from the bed at a sprint, launching yourself out the window, only second storey, so you land with a roll and a few bruises, taking off as soon as you regain your balance.

...

“...and there he goes, looks like he's got the physique for it too,” Artor comments, leaning against the side of the window, watching the young man sprint pantsless down the side street.

“I can vouch for that,” Senta smirks, sitting up and watching the figure shrinking into the distance.

“Think we should stop him, he's making straight for Cutter Street. Going bare-ass naked into gang territory probably isn't wise.”

“I guess we should at least follow from a distance and step in if he's going to die. The rest of it we can consider to be part of the initiation test,” Senta nods, pulling on a set of somewhat sticky clothes.

“Our very own disciple, this is going to be fun.”

There was some, yes, nothing incredibly special, but it could have earned you some extra gold if you hawked it.
>>
>>40289875
hahaha

also, question
do we want to go back and pay the inn owner now that we have the cash for it?
also, didn't abandoning relics of the church, even if worthless in terms of trade, kinda heretical for a priest to do?
>>
>>40289922
They weren't relics of the church, they were things people gave your masters as offerings to Elshhu.
>>
>>40289949
ah ok. still...

also, kinda don't like giving our church an even worse name by not paying the guy back
>>
>>40289984
Entirely up to you. Elshhu won't care either way, she's a pretty easygoing goddess, unsurprisingly.

Right then, I'm going to go get some sleep. Thank you all once again for playing.

Hopefully I'll be able to run each of my quests once a week, GKQ monday or tuesday, OWQ wednesday or thursday, and this one friday or saturday.

For anyone who doesn't know about it already, my twitter is here: https://twitter.com/BrightTegu where I will announce threads in advance.

Can it be imagined as these two in face and voice?
>>

Well we'll go back after we get manbat drunk right? We wanted to search for that hidden stuff
