When you signed Abby on, she had plenty of wilderness survival skills but no practical combat training and she couldn't swim. Alice on the other hand was a lifeguard and completed Ronin's (Mediocre) tactical training course. But wasn't ready for the bush at all. If you could combine them into one person you'd have a half decent amazon. Right now however you are trying to make sure they at least understand the basics of urban combat.

Terri has the maids, and they outnumber you two to one. What's the current status.

They must have figured out your flank and either followed after you (in which case an attack from behind is imminent) or fled into any of the currently open doorways to lay an ambush.

You're never wrong about these things. Sure enough, a flashbang bounces into the room through the open door. Reflexively you dive like a Footbol star and kick it back, landing in a slide and spraying paint at the door as Teri slips in.

The flashbang explodes nextdoor and You slide into the bathroom as Teri lands in the livingroom. "Nice ambush." you shout across the room as soon as you can hear again.

Looking down at your weapon, you are getting low on ammo, accepting her challenge might be in your favor.

Gotta keep the melee game sharp. Plus, we'll see how they respond when temporarily unsupervised.

"Sure" you say as you drop the mostly empty gun to the ground. "I'm game."

A few seconds latter a similar sound can be heard from the living room. You step out to see Teri standing and cracking her neck.

Trusting your trainees to handle the shootout in the hallway, you drown out the gunshots with the noise of samba music in your head, and crouch down swaying to the imaginary rhythm, making a series of faints to catch her off guard. She does the same and after a few moments you deliver the first kick which she leaps over, landing on a hand and delivering a spinning kick in return.

You duck under that and attempt to kick the hand out from under her, It doesn't connect, but you did force her back as she somersaults backwards to avoid your attack.

The fight becomes a conversation as the two of you exchange kicks and feints. Eventualy you come to the conclusion that you still outclass her. There is a predictable pattern to her attacks. If you go all out you could exploit it.

The plan, to be honest it's only been on the back of your mind since it started out. You've been having too much fun training the newbies it seems.

The slavers are operating out of an apartment block in the slums north of downtown Parcel. Alexis snatched the contract to police it from Ronin so you already technically own the place. That area's pretty lawless, and Ronin had been negligent in enforcing it. But if you can force the slavers out, it will be yours.

Unfortunately the building is a variable fortress according to the girls, and the local gangs and urban terrain will complicate things.
