“Let's get your swimsuit first. That way we don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day.” you answer.

“That does sound good.” Charlotte replies.

With that decided, you take Charlotte's hand and lead the way. Charlotte picks up her pace to walk next to you while intertwining her fingers with yours. You look over at her and see her smiling contently. You take your time to reach the store, just enjoying walking hand in hand with her. Charlotte leads you inside and begins looking over which swimsuits look good.

While holding two different swimsuits, Charlotte asks you, “Which one of these look good?”

In one hand, a sky blue bikini that would look good on her if it's a bit conventional. By itself, it doesn't really stand out compared to a different bikini other than the color. In the other is an orange bikini with a bottom skirt bottom that could be considered too short. You let the stray thought of wanting to look up that skirt at the beach to yourself. It also appears than the top is tied down to the bottom along back. That would let you see her bare back the entire way down.

“Hmm, it's hard to say. I think both would look good on you. But if I had to choose, the orange one would be better.” you answer honestly.

“Alright, let's find a changing booth.” Charlotte replies before putting away the blue swimsuit.

She then takes your hand and leads you to the rear of the store. Finding an open booth, Charlotte goes in while leaving you waiting just outside the curtain. You can hear the shuffling of clothes as Charlotte undressing drive your imagination crazy. And you didn't hear Charlotte say. “No peeking.”. This only makes you wonder if you should take a quick peek. Nothing wrong with a healthy boy taking a look at a beautiful girl. But those thoughts were quickly shutdown as you hear the some of the other female customers look your way and giggle. You have no choice but to stand there waiting awkwardly. After waiting what felt like too long, you hear Charlotte's voice.

“I'm done.” Charlotte announces as she bashfully opens the curtains.

And what you see is a grand sight. You were correct in choosing this swimsuit. Charlotte having her braid over one shoulder as she shows you her swimsuit. The top is fitted just perfectly. The distance between the straps and her collarbone makes you want to slide your hand under to tease and tickle her. Her cleavage just seems to pull your eyes in with such seductive skin. The skirt makes you want to take your hand and raise it just enough to see the hidden contents as the ribbons only seem to accentuate her hips. With just one twirl, you want to see more of her bare back and untie those ribbons just above the small of her back.

“We're getting it.” you quickly command.

“That was quick.” Charlotte replies in surprise.

You can't even pull your eyes away before Charlotte stands there blushing under your gaze. She stands there letting your eyes soak her in before she grabs your hand and tries to pull you in the changing booth.

“They will see us.” Charlotte tells you, a touch of panic in her voice.

As much as you want Charlotte to pull you into a small and confined area with nothing but a swimsuit on, you resist.

“Don't worry, I'll handle it.” you tell Charlotte to calm her down.

You let go of her hand and pull the curtain to a close. And not even a second later, you see Ms Orimura and Ms Yamada walk within sight of you.

“Smith-kun what a coincidence meeting you here.” Ms Yamada says with a smile.

“Hi Yamada-sensei, Orimura-sensei. Didn't expect to see you here.” you reply.

You quickly notice that both of them are carrying a swimsuit each. Ms Yamada is holding a simple tan yellow bikini. That must be the only one with a top large enough to contain her massive mountains of femininity. Ms Orimura is holding a black string bikini with lots of string and ribbons to tie or rather, untie. Wait, does the one Ms Orimura holding come with a thigh cuff?

“Smith, you shouldn't loiter.” Ms Orimura tells you, “Or stare.”

Crap. She noticed.

“I'm just waiting for Charlotte to finish changing.” you reply, telling the truth.

“Does Dunois-san not have any swimsuits?” Ms Yamada asks you.

“Yeah, with the way things turned out, Charlotte doesn't have that much in the way for women's clothes. So she asked me to help her out.” you answer.

“Good. If you were trying to do something, there would be consequences.” Ms Orimura informs you.

You let out a nervous laugh. You don't want to do even more PT as punishment.

“I'm done.” Charlotte tells you as she pulls the curtain back.

Charlotte exits the changing booth in her normal clothes and faces your teachers.

“I'm sorry for taking so long.” Charlotte says in apology to them.

“It's alright Dunois-san. It's good you can rely on your friends when you need help.” Ms Yamada replies in a comforting, sweet way.

“We'll be going then.” Charlotte tells them.

“Enjoy the rest of you vacation, Smith-kun, Dunois-san.” Ms Yamada tells you while waving.

“Smith, just make sure you meet your family in a normal way. Unexpected visits are annoying to deal with.” Ms Orimura calmly tells you.

SHE KNOWS. You don't know how, but she knows. Charlotte quickly picks up on this and leads you to cashier. You quickly pay and leave the store as you feel a cold sweat on your forehead. You walk a ways in silence as you both recover from the unexpected meeting with Ms Orimra and Ms Yamada.

“I didn't expect that at all.” you say tiredly.

“Yeah. And do you think she knows about our trip?” Charlotte asks, just as tired as you are.

“She had to. No other reason as to why she would say that.” you answer.

You both sigh in unison from the fatigue.

“Maybe we should take a break.” Charlotte suggests to you.

A break to get something sweet is a good idea. You could stop by a cafe that is nearby or go the Crepe Cart in the park for a more secluded break.

“The Crepe cart sounds nice right now. Being just the two of us will help us recover.” you state.

“Maybe for you. It's hard on my heart when you tease me.” Charlotte informs you with a slight pout.

“Teasing you is just too tempting. You are too cute when you are like that.” you reply with a smile.

Charlotte pouts even more at your reply. You smile as you take her hand and lead her to the park. She matches pace and contently walks beside you. Looks like Charlotte just wants to be spoiled right now. A slow walk to the park later, you find the Crepe Cart with a short line. You both wait in line while looking at the menu.

“I've heard from some of our classmates that eating a mixed berry crepe with the person you like is good luck.” Charlotte tells you innocently.

“I don't see it on the menu.” you reply, as you look over it again.

“Could be from another crepe place. They never did say where.” Charlotte replies, slightly disappointed.

“That's too bad. I would have liked to share one with you.” you tell her.

Mixed berry crepe. Besides being far too generic, it must be one of those couples rumors that girls seem to love. It can't be so obvious as to take two different berry crepes and share them. Worth a shot though, food joints occasionally have unofficial items on their menus. Animal fries does seem like something you could go for. Been too long since you've had a good cheeseburger. After a short wait, it's your turn to order.

“Do you have any mixed berry crepes?” you ask the Crepe guy.

“No, sorry.” he replies.

“That's too bad.” Charlotte comments disappointed.

“Then we'll have one strawberry and one blueberry crepe please.” you order.

“Right away.” the Crepe guy replies as he takes your money.

A minute later, you get your crepes and find a secluded park bench to sit on.

“So why did you order for the both of us? I wanted to try the strawberry banana one.” Charlotte asks before she takes a bite of her strawberry crepe.

“First, take a bite of my crepe.” you tell her.

Charlotte leans over a takes a small bite from your crepe. A small dollop of creme rests on the side of her lip.

“Is the mixed berry crepe good?” you ask.

“Ah!” Charlotte responds as she figured it out.

“It would be a mixed berry crepe if a couple shared two different kinds.” you continue with a smile.

“So that is why you ordered for the both of us.” Charlotte replies, now smiling.

“And as for the good luck.” you inform her before you wrap your hand around her waist.

You slowly lean in and lick the dollop of creme from her lip. You pull away to see Charlotte's face light up red. You just smile and keep your hand on her waist. Continuing your attack, you take a bite of Charlotte's crepe before you take a bite out of yours. The two of you share your crepes this way until the crepes disappear.

“Those crepes were good.” Charlotte tells you, satisfied.

“I liked the creme on your lips you missed.” you tease with a smile.

“Then next time, I should bake some sweets to share.” Charlotte replies with a knowing smile accented by a slight blush on her cheeks.

“I look forward to it.” you tell her.

As the two of you head back into the mall, you think where should you go next.

Letting Charlotte lead the way, she takes you window shopping. First at knick knack stores and then a couple of clothing stores. The two of you just look through the stores with no direction. Enjoying the small talk and each others company. While looking through an accessory shop, you realize you never asked what Charlotte's birthday is.

“You know, I sometimes forget important questions. When is your birthday Charlotte?” you ask.

“November 13.” Charlotte answers you while looking at a bracelet.

“I'll make sure to remember that.” you declare as you file away that piece of info away.

“You better. It will be one you'll remember every year, forever.” Charlotte replies, smiling.

You smile back, glad that she is enjoying the time you are spending together. You did note how Charlotte said forever but you put that aside for now. But there is one birthday coming up that you do know of, Houki's. Seeing as she tends to be on the more practical side of things, you find a long white hair ribbon and tie-able wrist ribbon with two bells. You aren't the best gift giver but you think Houki would appreciate such a gift. All the while, Charlotte has been staring at that bracelet for a while now.

“You seem to have your eye on that bracelet for a while now.” you state.

“I rather like it.” Charlotte replies.

“Then, I know what to do.” you say as you take her and the bracelet with you to the cashier.

You quickly pay for the items and leave the store. Once outside, Charlotte puts it on her left wrist.

“Thank you John.” Charlotte tells you with a sweet smile.

“Just a small gift for someone I cherish.” you reply with a caring smile.

“If that's true, then I want you to buy me something.” Charlotte tells you with a wanting voice.

“Where?” you ask, unsure what she wants exactly.

“This way.” Charlotte tells you as she takes your hand and leads you through the mall.

The place Charlotte takes you is one you did not expect to see so soon, a jewelery store. She takes you inside, straight to a display case. A display case containing various types of engagement and wedding rings.

“Umm, Charlotte...” you trail off.

“Is this no good?” Charlotte asks you with the sweetest voice you've ever heard her say.

“But...” you try and say as you were caught completely off guard.

“John.” Charlotte replies, looking up to you with wanting eyes.

“Oh, have you two found something to your liking?” an employee of the jewelry store asks.

“I'd like to see this one.” Charlotte answers while pointing to a specific engagement ring.

The female employee opens the display case to show Charlotte. You are helpless but to let the two of them talk about the jewelry. They go back and forth between different types of engagement rings as you stand watching. You aren't sure if it's horror, worry or just completely lack of knowing what to do eating away at your mind. You just stand there dumbfounded about the entire scene.

“What do you think John?” Charlotte asks you as she holds up her left hand with a ring on it.

“Uh...” you let out, thinking of what to say.

She seems to light up with such a sweet and bright smile. Even the jewelery employee is happy with the answer.

“While that is true, I'm sure as a Candidate Representative from America, you have more than enough pay to not worry about the cost of an engagement ring.” the female employee tells you.

“We aren't even at the age of consent.” you retort politely.

“Then that just means more time to pick out the right ring for her, Smith-san.” the employee replies.

Of course she know who you are. You sometimes forget that when on Academy Island.

“Right” you say, not sure how to reply to her.

“Just think, a real Cinderella story. You, the knight in shining armor, rescuing the poor and helpless Ms Dunois from the evils of her father. I just want to help you two on your way to a perfect wedding.” the employee replies with excitement in her voice.

Well, you can't fault her for being honest. You just hope that Cecilia, Laura or Houki never hears this. There would be no end of it.

“Anyway, we are just looking. So thank you for your advice.” you tell her.

“Come by again if you want to look at other engagement rings in our store.” the employee replies as she politely takes back the engagement ring Charlotte was wearing.

You quietly leave the store as there were some other customers staring at you and Charlotte. After getting some distance, you can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

“John, did you really mean it?” Charlotte asks you, a touch of worry in her voice.

Making sure you to prevent any sort of misunderstandings, you take Charlotte's hand.

Charlotte has a relieved and content smile on her lips at your answer. You smile in return but in the back of your mind, you can't help but think this won't be the end of it. Especially when there are other girls vying for the position of your bride. You don't even want to think of the hell that will be unleashed when the world finds out about your genes. But thankfully that is for another day.

Seeing as it is already late, you head back to your dorm. It was a pleasant and enjoyable date all things considered. When you are back in your room, Cecilia, Laura and Houki are already waiting in your room. Laura and Cecilia try and grill Charlotte for info while Houki listens. Thankfully, Charlotte doesn't let slip a single detail.

All of May seems to pass by without any troubles. Everyone was either too busy about tests or getting ready for the seaside classes. When the fated day arrives, everyone was too excited to think of anything else.

Early in the morning, the entire First year is packed and told to take the train to a predesignated bus stop. It really hits you again seeing your entire class standing here waiting at the bus stop. You really are the only guy here. Even all the teachers are female.

“Thank you Uncle George for this.” you say under your breath.

“Forget something John?” Laura asks you.

“No, packed last night so I wouldn't forget anything.” you reply.

“I hope you brought sleepwear Laura. You girls are sharing rooms.” you tell her.

Well without Ichika to lean on her maybe she's more outgoing. “That's right. Everyone is here and the teachers are busy.” Rin tells you.

“Right, right. I think I see a good spot for everyone one to hear me.” you say, seeing an unused bench in the middle of the crowd of school girls.

After leaving your luggage to Laura, Charlotte, Houki and Cecilia, you and Rin walk to the bench. Even if it was a short walk, all the girls you pass by wondering what you and Rin were up to. But soon enough, you reach the bench. You stand up on it and clear your throat.

“If I can have all of you attention.” you say over the crowd.

The crowd of schoolgirls quiet down and turn towards you.

“It has come to my attention that by the standards and measures of Ms Lingyin Huang, I, John Smith, am considered by her, to be crazy. That I am in fact, to be completely insane. That my actions have been so completely out of the norm, that it requires special mention as to how crazy it is for a person to do what I have done. To act in complete and utter disregard to my mental and physical well being to act in what I normal.” you announce to your class.

A quick glance around shows that quite a few of the girls are unsure what you are talking about. Rin just seems to be nodding in agreement with what you are saying.

After letting the girls get it out of their systems, you step down from the bench. Just in time as you see the teachers come out from the Bus Administration building. Rin is just muttering to herself in complete denial. You don't think you broke her again.

“Rin, are you ok?” you ask as the closest girls are all vying for your attention.

You weren't able to hear her reaction over all the other girls' voices.

“You idiot, this isn't an apology. This is insanity!” Rin yells at you before trying to chase you down.

You playfully evade her before the class has to file away and enter the bus. Next stop, Seaside classes.
