The game actually had a long hiatus recently, and we're on a particularly long map.

Usually maps last a maximum of 3-4 threads, with MAYBE an intermission thread, this one is just about 4-8 times the size of a normal map, so it's slowed everything down. We also have 36 turns in it, when normally the count down is "Try to do everything in under 20 turns".

You could deploy in right now.

You can deploy at the front entrance of either Inn, from the big gate which is currently blocked, or on any space that is empty and adjacent or diagonal from any other player (anyone with a number on their head who is purple tinted.)

Just stat up a character, put your class symbol in front of it, (Mine is [H] for example, for Hunter) and put a tripcode after it.

Deploying costs 1 action, you have actions equal to the number besides the tiny thunder bolt on your class card (2 for everyone except for a very few who have 3, such as rogues). You can deploy as Rogue, Hunter, Knight, Militia, Mage, or Guide.

Knights would be really useful in the forest fight or the library fight. But it's generally best not to deploy directly into combat, makes life easier on the processor.

Start yourself off with suspend and hook and pull, they're both incredibly good skills, blood lust only really works if you're landing a lot of killing blows, and hunter actually shines when you're 'controlling' the enemy for other players. Suspend and Hook and Pull at both enemy-control abilities. One prevents an enemy from acting at all, the other lets you move an enemy around at your leisure. Hunters also make the BIG BUCKS for capturing enemies, so if you want, deploy your starting iron maiden next time you see an impressive looking monster, and hook and pull that monster into it.

When you play hunter, you move fast, can move from trouble area to trouble area, and either deal damage yourself if you see a target of opportunity, or set enemies up to be killed more easily by other players. It's a fun class to play, but hard to master because you gotta juggle between 'dealing damage' and 'hampering foes'.

Knight is a better pure newb class and essential. They're nearly impossible to kill if you always reposition yourself to face the enemy at the end of your actions, they deal great damage, they're just slow.

Without a reversal they're incurable. Reversal is a cure all, but Khya simply cannot be in all places at once, and by the time she could have reached the pumpkin heads who had been turned, it would have been too late.

The process of becoming a pumpkin basically screws up the brain and does weird stuff to the skull. The original personality is pulped, and a new gourd-brain replaces it.

Not sure they are undead as such, or maybe they are a different sort of undead. Plant Pulse usually harms undead (IE Ghouls), but seems to have no effect on Pump-kins.

I think it would be possible in theory to dilate a Channel, but issues would crop up rather quickly. Channel has a cap of 2 targets. I assume in the situation you are thinking of I'd end up channeled to you and Jenny, and drop the channel to Fleur.

Dilate is a wondrous ability. The pulse (or other ability, like a mage spell) is still full power, just larger. Imagine if you will Channeled Dilated Ring Arrow (+3 Mag +1 AoE). What you are describing sounds a bit like Ewer, where the channeled targets all share a HP pool.
I really wish I had that ability.

About Chi.
The Quigon style, Hidden Forest harnesses the mana in the air as well as commune with the Floor's Secrets such that things unseen come into shape. To do so one must gain Chi by striking true at your enemy and using the nascent aethers of their life force to manipulate that which you can touch or strike yourself be it human, monster, the surroundings and yourself.


Gain Chi through damage dealt to opponnents or even yourself. To utilize a Chi move, one must simply spend the accumulated CHI and tap whichever skill you wish* to modify actions or damage during your turn.

Spirit Fist- Tap 1 Chi and your attacks this turn will be magically enchanted giving them the [magical] modifier as well as adding to its damage. Effect does not stack but can be extended at the beginning of next turn with a Tap action and additional point of Chi.

Red Petals- Any item that leaves your person during the course of the FLOOR can be declared a bomb for a single CHI tap, with a fuse set to detonate on a declared turn on your phase. The potency and effect of the "bomb" is contingent on the item's alleged effectiveness before its very quiddity was altered.

Orange Leaves- Upon use of this skill, The perform-ant concludes their turn where they sit and becomes a copy of a static object they see.

The Ghouls' Bite is their actual teeth.
In Floors the term offhand, means an item that does not take up a hand slot (of which you have two). So as a Ghoul, you would be able to wield a single 2 hand weapon or two 1 hand weapons, and still be able to bite enemies as the mood strikes you.

Setting aside [W], it's 1 attack per action, if you are dual wielding you can pick which weapon to use. [W] with the proper abilities can hit with each hand per action.

Utility wise there are good reasons to dual wield if you have the weapons for it, like those claws that let you climb for free.

Dual Weilding weapons as a non Weiss Pleb:
Units that use multiple weapons may attack with both with a single action, against a single target. However the offhand weapon doesn't gain the benefit of a str bonus so an attack formulae looks something like.
(STR+ATK) + (Atk)
with the second atk defined as a seperate term.

For this reason most 2nd or 3rd attacks don't happen since

-guns require a free offhand to reload which makes them impractical to wield or draw in the middle of battle.
-a Knight's shield has 0 atk
-a ghoul can't equip anything for their teeth that gives +atk, or alternatively find that their teeth are the optimal option for attack. If they were holding say... 2 weapons that gave a +atk benefit, then they would add to the damage as well. But it would mean removing their restraints, which becomes an essential part of them unless it was time to get serious.

For those that have the ability Two Weapon Fighting I have good news for you.
-Each of your weapons have a Str benefit.
-Each weapon can be treated as a seperate attack so long as targets are within your line of sight.
- In the case of Eyes Closed, every side becomes front.

In the case of Guns
Dual wielding guns have been proven, and makes sense to dual wield due to their raw atk potential. However one would need an open offhand in order to reload. There also exists the limitation of being only to attack a single target if you are not a Weiss. As for Weiss's that use guns, wouldn't it make more sense to utilize their str stat for melee ? If only a certain warrior existed that specifically trained in gun combat...

Unequip or Reequip takes an action, I forget which one. It might be both, which would mean a phase and a half just to reload

that is an interesting question.
Polarize flips the nature of a spell/ability.
Channel creates a connection and give a MAG boost when established.

My first guess is to say it just wouldn't connect. But maybe it would steal MAG from the target?

I wouldn't think you could go below 0 MAG. You're Aethernumb at 0, which means you have no magical aptitude whatsoever, could a person become even more inept. Or maybe you become a Magic siphon, incapable of using magic, but able to drain it from others (temporarily, while they are in your presence).

Those are Wards, not Runes so no.

A scholar could use them as a rune, but a normal mage couldn't.

We have that, see the attached image.
Wards are always circular with a different center symbol to denote which Guide cast it (the symbol seems to vary by Floor).
Runes are six pointed stars with the little wavy lines on 4 points They always look the same, no matter the Mage that drew them.

Given this I am pretty sure that the symbol Meave is trying to cast from is a Ward, even though it was drawn by a Scholar. Scholars can cast to either, but I don't believe the Wards or Runes drawn by scholars are any different functionally a standard Mage Rune or a Guide Ward.

There are several points in which the series could have ended. The implied conclusion of the Voss arc and the exodus of Vilkas, the The first successful escape from Hell, and the second battle of five fingers. But we know well and true that this war was destined to continue and its size a huge undertaking requiring nearly a decade of work. The world is vast and the story could continue towards the next century with the rise and fall of empires and a return of some dead ones.

However, take pride that these things were accomplished and know that I can jump back to this anytime to cover the other factions and Get Our Soldiers Home (tm)

Real Talk, the ending arc would be a game of its own. I would like to come back to that fresh and ready ngl.
