Final Entry....

At the unlikely end of a dragon's life cycle, their properties begin to divert to their individual parts. Their eyes, (they have two) would contain their vitality and spirit, and their scales would inherit their physical powers... and those who would take in their wisdom, hile consuming their blood would allow one near limitless magical potential with their dominion.

I stand before the eyes of Vidofnir and its still beating heart not far away. What comes next will no longer be the story of Florian Faerune, but another being entirely. The shared memories of a nearly ancient elder dragon that has twice escaped the Mal, and the uncountable centuries I spent reading books.. will be a gift to luxendarc and its guardian, and to Runner and his friends..

I write this hastily, as I will soon throw myself to such a fate . . . .

I have looked over the texts in the Encyclopedia. It's dense, with roughly 8 star signs accounted for in all. But what I didn't expect was for 4 to be missing. The book is complete but were there simply star signs that hadn't existed at the time ? No matter.

Using the data in the Encyclopedii Justicar, as well as the compilations in the Encyclopedii Astri I was able to deduct the history of Editors according to the laws of antiquity they had to follow. Now , we're not beholden to any kind of instution but that we operate within the means outlined by the Scholomance Rule of Rose act would insure that we do not incur the ire of the order's core enforcers as well as fascinating the current generation of Scholomance for support. Now while we operate within these rules it also brought about some interesting methods of summoning brought about during the age of antiquity, should these laws still be in effect we would have access to unused summoning laws most likely left behind by the Forerunners, and possibly used by Floor itself. But first, the basics.

SUmmoning Signs

Using a sign drawn on a tile and the smallest amount of Elemental Crystal, an Editor may call into action monsters and magical creatures to do their bidding. Depending on the element the type of creature summoned might have varying functions so much experimentation and study is needed. Something we simply dont have the time to do lest we climb more [Floors].

Fairy Sign- This family of creature summons a fae to assist in your spell casting. These stalwart allies will act as your second caster but naught else.

Beast Sign. Useful for summoning martial creatures to fight for you. What they don't have in grace in finesse they make up for in raw numbers and heartiness.

Moth Sign- Moths operate almost exclusively out of sight sometimes they dont meet their creators at all !

Bind: Use it to CAPTURE monsters and get their mezzier code!
