Veggies are any parts that don't typically produce fruit. Fruit is a distribution system for plants - they are designed to be eaten. Veggies require you to harm the plant to obtain them. Stems, leaves and roots mostly.
>>
>>45872516
Vegetable isn't a botanical term though. Mushrooms and other such non-plants are considered vegetables. It's a culinary term.

So what do you guys think about letting one of my players roll seaweed in a pacific island campaign. I think it might work.
>>
>>45881316
I mean, its Fruits, but I'm sure you can homebrew a little to make seaweed work.

Shhh... grapefruit is only good so long as it's unexpected.

Remember the whole raisins/grapes thing a while back? Changed the meta so people expected raisins if you brought out even a single grape. Shut out any attempt at being sneaky.

Consider it has the same iron content as spinach as well. Incentivise your kids to eat healthy without the fuss over bitter-tasting leafy greens.

You cut off top, bottom, and skin, cut sections off core, done. Dice or slice how you see fit.

How do you feel about alcohol builds, /fruit/? They haven't gotten a lot of attention in this thread.

I know it was awhile ago but I still feel like Growers of the Coast doesn't get enough credit for introducing phylloxera. Totally opened up the meta and overthrew grape dominance. I bet most people don't know scotch builds weren't even remotely competitive before that.
>>
>>45886211
You realize the prices for good quality OLD scotch figures have gone up over 1000% in the last 7 years, the Asian player base is buying up all the great classic staple scotch cards, units that you could acquire in 2007 for under 100$ are auctioning at absurd prices today. Ageless combos are shit.

It's like you hate versatility. Sour, sweet, whatever you want, you've got it. I mean yeah, you've got to watch out not to take yourself out with all that acidity, but that's a risk with pretty much any citrus heavy build

The game is shit these days. I mean, you used to have a thousand different options for fucking everything. Ups and downs, positives and negatives. Now you have modern Supercrops and you have like.. three options. All of which are so much better than the old stuff that it's not even funny. Size, taste, yield, consistancy, resource required... what the fuck can you do with anything a decade old?
Fucking power creep.

God damn the meta's stagnant, just Apples, Oranges, Bananas and Berries.

Pomegranates are easy, you just need to know the trick. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water, and break the pomegranate apart inside it. The shitty skin floats in water, while the seeds sink to the bottom.

Really fun to see people realise what they thought was a joke deck can suddenly come out with the second/third best dish in the game.
