So what's the big deal with Midian blood anyway ? Well as it turns out Midians possess otherworldly properties dating back to pre Avalonian periods when mages entreated to various gods in order to gain everlasting life. Successful as they were with their mission, the defilement of nature's code cursed them to develop a blood habit in areas where magic is not so rich. Not only that but as the Midian bloodline began to dillute across various strains problems and unintended mutations began to spring up. It was here that the Dragons intervened and-

Well anyways long story short, Midians in Monster society have become a necessary staple for those wishing to serve in esoteric offices and upholding the life of various noblehouses.

So why the blood ? Quite simply it is ltierally the only way Midian tradition and their grudge filled history can even be expected to go on. The extension of life, the pursuit of power and the transformative nature of their shared spirits can only begin to describe their dark lives.
