We already took the reigns from Padre. Any show of weakness now will reflect poorly on Padre. All the angels and nuns will laugh at him if he was usurped by a teacher's pet who cuts dates with vampire princesses short on account of some disciplinarian wanting to talk. Well, I don't think you've screwed up, and realistically, because I know you're worried about it, I don't think you've screwed up Mechagirl. Do keep in mind that you may lose anon's due to 'failure' which is outside their control. And the 'surprise' in episode 5 is due to some very stupid actions, but some anon's may have felt that this wasn't the quest that they wanted, and there's not much you can do. Especially with the latter, the genie is out of the bottle.

I have heavy suspicions that Mr.E isn't as black and white bad guy as it seems, I'm still waiting for the day we lose personally and lose hard. I also just hope anon's get over their rage at the rest of the dads, they're turning away very interesting plot threads.

An anon with the Trip of 'Rage' threatened one of our father figures, the assholish one, with more or less murdering him, there was enough support by some to have it pass. This then spiraled into the reveal that the bot that we fought, saved and had 'hack' us, had basically a time bomb that had to be deactivated periodically, or else she's toast...the reaction went about as you expect...Some anon's are still in absolute rage mode at being betrayed by our three dads. I continue to try and soften it, because I want to know more, and we're already learning more by not being a dick.

Don't worry about it anon, despite my frustration at what has happened, I actually do think, for better or worse, it's brought some drama to the fold. Particularily because of the results of the battle with Fox Fire. It's brought us closer and brought some really interesting thoughts for a young mechagirl to have. And honestly, most importantly of all, it's given our character a reason to fight. Think about it, she fought, couldn't pay up, and was forced into what amounts to slavery. To the point that she was stripped of all of her weapons and possesions, and was explicitly said to be 'trash' I doubt they would put any amount of care into something that couldn't fight, couldn't pay the bills, and couldn't do anything now that she's so brain addled. Her having a broken horn that was unfilled seems like something they would do.

I don't know...currently I think I'm enjoying Baron Bizarre quest the most because its so new and so fun using all the characters and world I helped developed.I think I got something interesting going here with this Doctor Strange/Fate like character who's thing is that he struggles getting people to understand the reality warping stuff he does every day. She's nervous and overthinks things...but you did the same at her age. You'll also need to get her to stop making her spirit manifestations in the image of the Virgin, but that's hardly a major issue.

If anything you're worried that she depends on her spirits too much. She lets the one called "Mary" ride her when she gets nervous...that's no good if she wants to be an SI. You hope by sparring against her without your girls or Hahaiah you can help her be more self-reliant.

"Eh, you keep YOUR guard up!" The cajun catgirl spins almost horizontally through the air and tries to to catch you off guard with a kick.

Excellent thread QG, I was figuring we were due to tuck it in for the night. I look forward to this and to Mecahgirl, and I'll contribute to Cape World as I can.

Expect the updated advantages/disadvantages in the next thread.

I for one am happy that we solved the Abby drama again, or at least, eased the tensions a bit. Not to mention that she's finding peace and a potential friend in Focalor. I kind of still want to touch base on their backstory some more, hope we can soon.

Nayara is already looking great as I expected her to be, so I look forward to learning more about her, and seeing what she's all about, not to mention her angel and saints.
