The primarcs that have been informed, at least of Anons lore, is the Khan, Fulgrim, Horus and Magnus. We’v seen Magus make a whole order, we don’t know is Abby knows of was told, Fulgrim obviously delt with a Khornate planet but we not know if he’s told anyone, and we dont know anything about the Khan. Maybe Curze knows something since he knows Anon was what stoped his worst visions.
So that leaves also of primarchs not in the know. They might have som opinion of the wired protocols he out out with those scribes. But I think we will have to see.

So, these Anonites... could be a way to introduce a Grey Knights-equivalent faction into the story, or maybe it'll be how Magnus messes up and gives Chaos a way in in this timeline. Or perhaps something else entirely?

As for whatever primarch powers he could have, maybe he makes the "little things" all the more enjoyable. For instance, he could make fruit more plump just by touching and willing it, seating furniture would feel more comfortable in his presence, and he could be a prodigious botanist. With enough development, he could be a genuinely interesting character.

To my knowledge, Vulcan has had no, or very little contact with anon, which made me wonder if he had actually been found or not.

If he has been found and has just not come into contact with anon, I suspect that he is interested in him because he seems a gravitational figure that his brothers are all interested in.

Because of vulcans nature IE: doing what is in front of him and helping those within his reach, I think it's most likely he is the kind of (super)man who reserves a solid opinion of someone until having met them, or seen firsthand their impact.

As he hasn't met Anon and has only seen his impact, his opinion would be shaped by anons significant and positive influence on his brother to be slightly more eccentric (magnus and his order, fullgrim and his chaos hunting, khan on his unusual focus on tasks) as well as him having helped and saved his brothers and his brothers sons (solomon and angron).

He probably would think well of him, but be curious as to his character and be seeking a chance to observe him firsthand to better understand the man who had such a strong influence on his brothers and father.

Not impossible, but magnus knowing the destructive nature of the grey knight would probably go for

Nobody outside the order, and possibly the primarchs or emperor knows what they do, but nobody doubts it's incredibly important. They don't take the most elite, the don't take the strongest or those who seem the most loyal to the primarchs. While there is much speculation, nobody outside the order themselves knows the recruitment criteria or understands what is placed upon their shoulders.

Some in the chapters, who seek to prove their loyalty have questioned what they lack to join. Their answers came as a surprise even to them. "count yourself lucky you are not one of us. the order is the greatest burden that any of us have ever encountered, and yet we bear no more than he". they suspect that they speak of the emperor or magnus.

Some rumors persist that the eyes of the those who entered the order have been... changed.
Dark rings that hint at sleep deprivation, even with gene edited enhancements to prevent such things.
Flinching at symbols and strange attentiveness at seemingly innocuous speculation about the cupbearer.
One rumor persists that they hold serving drinks in high esteem due to their odd behavior surrounding the act of cup-bearing, even for one other.

None who enter the order ever speak of what they have experienced, but all brothers who have served with member prior to their initiation notice the changes. Sorrow and pain are etched onto their faces, even when they force smiles. They do not shirk training or orders, but their eyes seem to have seen more.

characterize Perturabo. They really characterize not only his technological skill and competitive nature, but also how competitive and socially unaware he is. Anon most likely meant it as a simple side project to ease his mind and bring him closer to his brothers, yet he takes this as a challenge to prove his worth and stance among his brothers. It would be interesting to see how Anon would try to lax his competitive mentality and autism going forward.

I can only imagine the horror on Anon's and Angron's faces when they see their simple wargame turned into some complex mess that makes even GURPS look like preschool in comparison; Perturabo probably highly overestimates how technologically able Anon is, so I could see him tossing intuitive mechanics aside for a system that only "he and Anon" can master.

You know what? I've been thinking of writing a side story from the perspective of a new character, with a perpendicular insight to the Cupbearer. Rather than knowing everything about 40k lore like the Cupbearer, this character would have extensive knowledge about either science or history--with just enough familiarity about 40k lore to name the big factions, characters, and events. It would most likely take place in Cupanon's canon, just so everything fits together and makes sense.

I thought it might be an interesting parallel to the main storyline; Cupanon's story seems to focus on how one's insight into the future has an impact, and this one could hypothetically focus on how one's insight into the past could have an effect of similar magnitude--or be treated differently in comparison.

These needs to be handled carefully. Anon got a neat timeline goin' on. If you want to make your cup-K story canon it needs to be sanctioned by lord anon. If you want to write a self-insert isikai story, try to stay out of having a direct impact on Anons narrative while still experiencing how differentfrom how it/should be based on your memory, and/or realizing Cupanon has been izikied with you. Perhaps this could be explained away by finally deducting a strange warp phenomina happened in M3 that sent people who died into a special warp-bubble that protected us from the coming warpstorms, popping about now in m30, realeasing your perpetual souls. This may get accepted as canon by cup anon, but it might not. This could explain how anon saw the future. He floated around through the warp and time seeing all the daemons fucked up shit without the rose-tinted glasses they put on those in their presence.

Cup Anon was setting up a plot about his soul being a "trick candle" so everyone else having that same quirky property may cheapen anons status, making him much more expendible in the eyes of BigE. If you want to just write without intention of it being accapted as canon by CupAnon then go crazy. Make a fic about Anon getting laid by an eldar during a hive siege, or magnus' rap battle against eldrad with anons/the eldar god's secret knowledge as the wager. Are you taking up the mantle of organising cupanon's works, his contributors, and the grey-area fan submissions? If so, awesome! get it cumulated in a google.doc or something similar for convenient archiving and and update it when more comes out, with your self-insert giving the opening, context around speculative fan submissions, and a closing message/speculation about where you think the story will go. Use the consolas font and 4chan colored text for a cogitator/dos atmosphere. Papyrus or equivalent if you want a parchment feel. Use comic sans if you're feeling edgy.

You could write it from the perspective of a watcher documenting what he sees anon and those around him doing in his dreams. Use the branching possible realities to explain the fan stories. I tried to keep close to what I think of as canon with how the lore portrays him, and build on what in the cupanons lore I thought might work well.

Cup clearly has some shit happening right now, but he'll see the archive at some point and I want him to know that I respect his work and wasn't just taking it for myself but rather trying to build on, and contribute to his story.

I'm going to keep on with the brother side story but I have to do some real life shit for a minute, I'll post more in like 20min.
