Grandmaster of the Assertive Fist, the mightiest order of warrior monks in the Iron Crown dispatching a group of Unionary Deadicorn cultists harassing some local monks in a single blow. It is spoken that he was trained by one of the Seven Unnamed Masters of the Style of the Forbidden Golden Moon (characters from the War of Ice and Wrath) in his childhood, leading to the his fighting style being efficient at dispelling elemental attacks.

The first leader of the Armatoloi who uplifted the poorer citizens of Soukos who met his end being hanged by a company of hoplites who thought his organization were rebels. While relations between the hoplites and Armatoloi improved greatly in the passing years putting a stop to events like this, a faction of them were so infuriated by this execution that they chose to fight against the hoplites, swearing to liberate the republic from their rule as they hid in the mountains becoming the first Klephts.

A Lapus Elf of the Wild Hunt. Most of the elves in the northern continent are of a peaceable disposition and stay away from war. It is not so with the elves of the Wild Hunt however, having formed as the response of elves furious about the Autian colonists on their land and wanting to send them home. They left their hidden cities and gathered in the forests of Lapus as their society quickly degenerated into one of savage war. Regularly they leave their forests and rampage across the continent, wreaking great destruction on all those who live in the continent, bringing along several other magical races of the forest to help.

We didn't have proper angry Wood Elves in the setting so I thought I'd add them.

Apocalyptic event happened that either wiped out most humanoid races, pushed them back to a few or a single mega city that houses the last of their kind on the fringes of the world, or reduced them to practically feral nomadic tribes that roam the countryside raiding and attacking anyone or anything unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Event also evolved/mutated a few creatures into sentient races, like bugs, that have slowly spread to cover practically all the lands that once belonged to the old races before the fall. All the young races have a hodgepodge of gear and technology as almost all their technology was either scavenged or reversed engineered from what they could find from the ruins of the old races as the new races territories often grew to cover multiple old races territory.

The new races are mostly ignorant of the remaining old races as the feral ancestors of the old races are seen more as particularly clever wild beast that have figured out how to uses scavenged weapons and usually not connected to the ruins they once hailed from, the last cities are hidden on the edges of the known world and don't exist beyond myth and rumor if even that, while all the old races that perished are mostly seen as mythical creatures from old folk tails and fairy tails. Though there are groups within the new races who search endlessly for the old races in the hopes of learning what they know seeing how mighty their own race have risen just from forging for scraps in old ruins.

Some fearsome and excitable Unchosen of the Puppet Clans. The Unchosen are called such by their kindred as they are the youths of the Puppet Clans, still young enough to only have minor mutations ("blessings" in their perspective) from life within the Sea of Souls and seek to embark on many raids in order to prove themselves and ascend to a higher rank of warrior. Hotheaded as they may be, these warriors are ferocious in combat and have experience in the use of many different weapons types from daggers to pistols.

>>78937653
Another image of an Unchosen, possessing only a slight mutation of glowing orange eyes. Their rambunctious behavior and young age means that in some cases it is possible for one to desert their fleet for their own reasons, only possible because their souls haven't been in the Sea of Souls long enough to have their soul be tied to their fleet rendering them unable to leave. These deserters are quite popular as mercenaries because of their combat experience and skills in shipcraft gained from being quite literally born on a ship.

>>78937706
Now here is a veteran warriors of the Puppet Clans, one of the Enlightened. Their face has changed through mutation to the point where it resembles the "water" of the Sea of Souls leading to them being considered by their comrades to be directly attuned to the sea itself. This new face of theirs is quite similar to the body of the Aetherites in northern Autia, meaning it is radioactive and very dangerous to be around.

Does anyone know what the nation with the most lore on the 1d4chan is? By most lore I mean total word and character count.
>>
>>78945083
The longer ones tend to have their own pages, you can probably start with some word counts on those.
>>
>>78945083
I’ve checked all the nations with sizeable lore and it turns out that, from outta nowhere, the nation with the most lore iiiiiisss:

The Kingdom of Sostenfiel. It’s the highest by far, and even if you subtract the story added into its lore section for some reason it still has the most lore. Second place is a tie between Soukos and Harlbourg with Harlbourg having more characters but Soukos having a higher word count. After that I’m not really sure as I can’t remember all the numbers but I think it’s Belkan, closely followed by the Nicsenor Collective. Anything after that I can’t really say. Also yes, I’m aware the Second Empire is probably also one of, if not the nation with the highest word count with its expanded lore but that hasn’t been listed on the 1d4chan yet so it won’t be counted for now. Also Aquatica is probably 4th place after Belkan now instead of Nicsenor because holy shit its expanded lore is massive. Nicsenor may be slightly larger than Belkan and Aquatica though if you count all the stuff written about it’s monsters which I don’t think has been added.

leaving behind it's physical body which stood like a statue almost as tall as the city walls themselves.

The assaulting Niscenoreans let out a mighty cheer at the Demons defeat and poured into Tacchi through the gaps in it's walls. While the defenders were disheartened by the loss of what many thought was a walking arbiter of the World Flame it's defenses were still manned by several regiments of the Guards of the Consuming Breath, an elite force of Sartyrian warriors dedicated to the defense of the city and its school of magic, which met the Southern Elves in the streets and gardens of the city where chokepoints would be of most use to the defenders.

The Tyraia Home Guard regiments would bear the brunt of the fighting in Tacchi, it's inexperienced Spear-Elves learning their craft among the ash blasted towers and castles of the city, with Duke Ontos Mar'Ontos of Tyraia protesting the highly aggressive Niscenorean advance which saw her troops thrown against prepared positions with little to no support.

The Mage-Priest gave no reason to the city Lords for this bloodyminded assault, fearful to tell them how easy it would be for the City's Pyroclasts to summon another Demon of similar size and strength if given time to recover, only a quick advance could keep them on the backfoot.

The Monastery of the Second Pillar fell the next day with it's Flame Masters and all of their acolytes put to the sword by the Niscenoreans for their dogged defense of the city's interior. Even with the Demon destroyed lone mages were able to ambush columns of Snow Elves with Fire Golems and similar creations before slipping away into the urban sprawl, the Niscenoreans were on edge from constant attacks and demanded the city to bleed, with no thought being made to the importance of the city to the campaign.

The Tyraians abandoned the campaign following Tacchi's capture, claiming their oaths were made only to King Heru and with his death they were free from them, leaving the

Dright has way more soldiers, a well-defended capital city, guerrilla warfare and a much stronger economy (the Dreeght are obscenely rich). Dright is currently on the defensive.

A magnificent golden war canoe made by the Amazonian natives of the Crescent Islands meant to serve as a personal vessel for what appears to be a high ranking priestess of their religion. It possesses a figurehead of a beautiful winged serpent which plays an integral part of their religion, and it is here where the true origins of these craft are unveiled as this kind of serpent was an important symbol to the ancient Khimerians as well whom these Amazons are said to be descendants of. It is so that in the age of the Khimere Empire, canoes of this magnitude and beyond were commonly seen sailing around as mere recreational craft and as boats used for making landfall released from their battleships in a similar role to the swan-ships of the Nicsenoreans. The Amazons commonly use less elaborate versions of this war canoe in skirmishes against the natives of the Fantal islands and are held in high regard by both sides, who in naval battles leave their battleships in reserve and both send their own versions of war canoes in to do honorable battle by both ranged combat and ramming into each other. Other cultures who make use of war canoes in their own designs include the Bridge Tribes and Afzen Amazons with the latter commonly seen raiding the coasts of those unfortunate enough to be the target of their slackers.

One of the legendary Dire Bear chariots of the Issbjarn. Individually a Dire Bear is one of the most fearsome beasts upon the earth of Autia-Tismo, surpassed only by dragons and the massive monsters of the Dead Man's Hand meaning when many of them are gathered together by their Issbjarn tamers, armored and attached to a chariot they can plow through even a charging elephant or Yrrian tank with ease when on the move. The massive chariots they are connected to are made from mithril mined from within the holds, reinforced through the mysterious and wonderous metallurgic techniques of the bears built large enough to fit a dozen bearmen warriors on them. The current variant is one utilizing the Dire Bears of the southern holds, thus their pristine white appearance. Pic related on the other hand is a depiction of a Dire Bear located in the northern holds (the ones which are actually a nation, the southern holds are where the Issbjarn who are polar bears come from but is counted as part of the Nicsenor Collective as stated in their lore) which is also utilized in these chariots. The Issbjarn also saddle these bears to become a form of cavalry or just bring them in as unmounted warbeasts.

Shown here is a simplified map of the ridiculously over-complicated Intercontinental Tunnel built by the Kingdom of Yr to invade the Imperium of Dright. Construction of the tunnel already started long before the Malorite War with the original intent to dig a tunnel into the Union and aid the separatist movement that would later become the Freedom Coalition. However, the Malorite War broke out and construction halted on the project to fight the Dreeght.
Fast forward to the present and with the Union now their ally Yr seeks to use the tunnel to invade Dright and run a railway trough it for the Yrrian Superheavy Train. This seems more possible than ever now that they have the Marchmen from Bergbucht aiding them.

Meanings of the different colored lines

Red: Primary route, deliberately made over-complicated in case the tunnel was ever compromised by enemy forces.

Dotted Red: Auxiliary route should the budget become tighter.

Dark Blue: Decoy routes that lead towards the Lapus volcanoes and earthquake zones.

Light Blue: Tunnel section set to detonate should the tunnel be invaded by Dright.

Dark Red: Possible future invasion routes towards other countries that rival Yr and the Union.

White Line: Current progress on the construction of the tunnel, it will likely stagnate soon when they dig into the tunnels of the Maritime Khurultai.

The following is a partial transcript from a diplomatic missive from the Maritime Khurultai to the Kingdom of Yr, translated and smuggled out from a Union Intelligence Bureau office.

"There is one final point to address, in accordance with our last trade envoy's promise to your nation's port, in support of fostering good relations with other coastal powers.

We were aware of your tunnel the moment you committed to it coming into our territory.

Now that you have reached our shores, any Humans of your nation we encounter, above or below the surface will be issued travel visas. They will submit to inspections both upon entry and egress. Any weapons they are armed with will be checked, and if deemed necessary towards survival in our territory, returned. If deemed excessive, they will be confiscated and either held until their handlers return, or returned to the Kingdom upon formal confirmation of their deaths.

Any Goblin, Orc, Ogre or Wolf-Kin will be subject to these same requirements and be assigned an overseer to monitor their unit's progress through their projected route.

Any living slaves brought to the border will be freed. If human, they will be given a choice to join our nation or be transported to a nation of their choice. If non-human, they will be transported to a nation of their choice, or, should they choose, be evaluated for provisional residency.

Any mutant or necromatic subject attempting to enter will be denied entry. Any forced or clandestine attempt to gain access with these forces will be summarily destroyed with impunity.

These are our terms."

and you do realize that, since day one, the Maritime Khurultai hasn't been the most forthcoming about its military capabilities.

read the subtext in the passage.

they know about a subterranean tunnel intent on penetrating their borders during its conception phase- high level infiltration of the government responsible.

they are setting terms- allowing the project to continue because they know how to deal with an underground war.

they sent a warning- because they knew about a potential sneak attack ahead of time.

they know the typical dispensation of their forces- and thus how to deal with them should they appear.

and perhaps most importantly- they are warning these same people that if they are not prepared, they might die simply due to the nature of the terrain they are attempting to enter.

they see a hell tank and know that they are not a threat to them.

maybe you should wonder what makes them that confident.

>they know about a subterranean tunnel intent on penetrating their borders during its conception phase- high level infiltration of the government responsible.

And with that you just lost your credibility. Yr is a nation that's fairly far away from their territory, until now they have literally no reason to care about it as all the issues taking place are particularly relevant to them. They wouldn't have known about the tunnel until they saw it with their own eyes or decided for some reason to infiltrate the Yrrian government which as I repeat myself, they have no reason to care about slightly earlier. Just stop complaining that people aren't reading between the lines and seeing things that aren't there or are things only you, the creator would think about. Additionally, just go out of character for a moment and explain why they aren't fearful of tanks or your vague claim of them being confident enough to not be worried about the Yrrians for some undiscernible reason won't have any meaning.

K'eyi Meda

People:

Nestled in the heartlands of Tismo, within the vast Plain of Red lie the ancestral home of the Medan people. They are a vast people, whose past is seeped in both battle and glory. The great heat of the land they dwell in has led to the appearance of the Medans to be quite a strange one to outsiders, possessing the deep brown skin also noted amongst the Malsolians (though the appearance of those people is widely believed to be the work of magic whilst the Medans seem to have received it naturally.) The tribesmen of Meda adorn this form of theirs with much accessories. A standard adornment cannot be found among them, as is inevitable with the many allied tribes who populate the Plain of Red or as foreign academics might call it, a savannah. Some noted accessories that have been recorded by and sometimes sold to merchants travelling along the Jeweled Road include colorful necklaces of varied material, body paints, headdresses made from the plucked feathers of birds, finely crafted iron earrings and, if the ledger of a Belkan merchant is believed even small metal plates. When questioned about the purpose of these ornamented plates which appeared too small to eat food on by his colleagues, he stated that the tribe he purchased it from shoved them in their mouths as a form of fashion!

Religion:

The aforementioned ornaments the Medans drape upon themselves with impunity are not without reason. As is generally believed by the tribesmen, these ornaments are symbols of great devotion to the "First Children", the term used to describe the many spirits who are believed by the Medans to dwell unseen inside nature itself. This form of pagan animism practiced by the Medan tribes is centered around a Priest-King. These shamans are integral to the life of a Medan tribe with all up to the very smallest of them possessing even one due to their ability to seek out and commune with the First Children.
>>
>>79015575

Religion continued:

The Priest-Kings from their communion learn many a truth of the world and with this knowledge bring great fortune to those that have earned their favor. These individuals are medicine men, storytellers, priests, mages and many other things and under their guidance a tribe can flourish as it has never before with small twists of fate in their favor being a common occurrence as a byproduct of the supernatural pacts made by their shaman. There are no central figures in this religion, merely the assurance of knowledge stored within the land they live in, some tribes worship a specific local spirit over others however for their own reasons.

Magic:

Priest-Kings are the mages of K'eyi Meda, that much is clear to all. In reality their roles when using their supernatural powers varies greatly depending on what beings they've communed with and learned the secrets of with some practicing a form of voodoo magic where the shaman performs a ritual with an idol given particular significance. These effects can range from good to bad and is very useful in incapacitating enemy commanders who quickly come down with illness upon entering their territory as a Priest-King performs all sorts of strange magics with a doll resembling them. Battle mages exist as well, though as it seems is commonplace among this organization of shamans there is a great deal of variation in their abilities. Some who have spent their days observing the movements of earthly creatures and various worldly phenomena call upon the aid of earthen spirits to cause great quakes below the feet of their enemy while others call down a thunderstorm at will wreaking much devastation. Lastly, mages of life take the form of travelling mystics or as I have called them earlier, medicine men. These healers bring with them mysterious creatures who they have chosen as their familiar who seem to help in some way in the strange Juju they utilize which can get a bleeding man right up on his feet.

Been away from the thread for awhile what Civs have been added?

Also post interesting facts
>Even while being geographically distant from each other the Imperial Belkan State and the Second Empire have been rivals ever since the Belkan Crusades that ravaged their lands in search of the Miqaadite Empire. Due to the distances involved each nation has agreed to resolve their wars via a ritual duel between Champions. This arrangement has remained in place for over two centuries.

Northern Flickfowl
>>

Southern Flickfowl you mean. It literally has a nation of Kangaroo people. As for size comparison though, I'd say Ignis is a similar size to Australia.
>>
>>79025324
By the way, what was the outcome of the crusades? Did the crusaders manage to successfully reach the Sultanate or fail on the way? If they did succeed, what happened?
>>
>>79026550
Lemme give you a quick rundown.
>Be me, Prince Alfred Edelweiss of the Empire of Belkan
>Following the defeat in the Northern War the country is in low spirits, much of the Empire is lost and people are blaming the nobility
>Decide now would be the perfect time to embark on a noble quest to raise national morale! And what better goal than to visit the mysterious homeland of one of the mythical founders of your nation?
>Embark on boats with yourself and 10,000 of your other noblemen and Knights and sail far to the south.
>Land on Ignis first. Have to flee for your lives.
>But after months of travel reach the continent of Flickfowl, but wait these don't look like followers of Ace, these look like Eldrians!
>ohwaittheseguysdonthavegunpowderyetlol
>Pillage their lands with your superior advantage in firepower. Win a lot of battles. Burn a lot of cities.
>Eventually the Second Empire get their shit together and bring forth an army three times as large as the Crusader's own force. Corner them in some isolated desert.
>Just then the Belkans are aided by a mysterious who appear to be friendly. Win the battle.
>Turns out THESE are the guys they've been looking for. They're very appreciative of the damage you've done to the Second Empire and diplomatic relations are secured.
>Return home covered in loot but with a mere fraction of your army just to find that the aristocracy has been abolished and the king overthrown
>mfw

That's basically how it went I reckon.

I'm surprised there's no Alkorian penal colony in either Ignis or Flickfowl.
>>
>>79027493
I mean, it'd be funny but the Sartyrians would blow any ship approaching their homeland out of the water before it could make landfall. I can imagine a colony in the Kangoo Tribes though, it'd be funny to see the convicts having to spend their days hiding from sentient kangaroos.

A murder baboon, an extremely dangerous aberrantly large baboon. On four limbs a male can look a person in the eye. They live in large troops generally found in savannahs. their preferred method of hunting is for the smaller and faster females to drive prey into light woodland where the larger males wait in the trees to drop down on the pray, they make limited use of tools and show a basic language and social structure, but trying to communicate with them is almost futile unless armed, once contact is established basic barter is possible, and many troops will happily trade a consistent supply of food in return for not attacking a group. Smarter individuals may occasionally be adventures, though the are notoriously quick to anger and hot-headed.
