The sun rises on your third day of life. In the past two days you have grown exponentially and now weigh 700 chitinous pounds. Your spike claws are serrated and the size of scimitars, and you have grown a large third lung to help you hold you breath under water.
You have used vines to craft a necklace out of the asteroid that created you, which has granted you speech and much increased intellect. You gained you first worshiper, who is now busy trying to recruit others to worship you and is sowing rebellion among the other penal workers to try and get them to turn on the kings soldiers and stop the destruction of your forest. He will not return until nightfall, so you have the day to yourself. What do you do?

You find only two caves you can fit in. One of them is grossly full of bat shit and the shitty bats, and the other is just a pond in a hole. Dejected and stumping your way back to your tiny cave, you stumble across two little lizard men carrying some recently killed pheasants.

As you get close to them you see the one in front jump and squeak at the other one. they both turn to look at you, wide eyed and obviously scared. Before they run away you call out to them, and you say...

"Calm yourselves, little creatures. I merely want to talk with you. Perhaps if we come to friendly terms I can help you take down meals much larger than those birds."
The little lizard men jump as you begin to speak to them, but don't run away from you. One puffs up his chest and says in a thin reedy voice "I no fear! I am servant of great serpent Selmun!" The second one peaks out from behind the first and says "We could use big help for big food. Selmun is hungry, and if we no feed, we BE feed!"

Looks like deer hunting wins. You talk with the little scaly men and tell them to wait in the brush next to a nearby deer trail. You will go to the lake and chase them right to them. You walk down to the lake and there they are, those fat happy piles of venison. They have been too fast for you to ever catch, but you have a trap now! You position yourself and then scurry as quick as you can at the deer, letting loose a screeching roar!
Roll me a 1d100 for effectiveness and I will roll a 1d100 for the lizards.

Your primal screech strikes one of the deer frozen in terror, which you impale with both spikes and easily rip in half. The four bolt down the pathway and you give chase, internals from the deer halves trailing behind you. Ahead of you, the little lizards hop out with one putting a little spear through the breastbone of small doe, and the other landing on the back of a buck and slitting its throat with a knife. all told, you have three deer, and once the happy little lizards stop dancing over the corpses they tell you that this is more than enough and you can certainly have one for yourself. Once you finish crunching on the deer halves, they invite you back to the cave of their lord, Selmun.

You impale the haunches of your deer on one of your armspikes and say that you have just enough time to go and meet this Selmun. (and maybe just eat him.)
After about an hours treck around the lake you come to a lowland where the water from the lake has turned the land into a mire. in a particularly moist corner is a limestone cave. You and the lizards make your way insde, your footsteps making the standing water splash up onto your scaly guides. You round a corner and see a large leathery creature with large jaws and strong looking if slightly short legs. It is lounging on a smooth flat stone surrounded by a shallow hotspring. He seems fat and lazy, feasting on what his small army of lizard servants bring up to his maw and feed him. As he sees you, he bellows out, "And who are YOU, youngling? Have you come to serve me, or ask questions of my great mind? Perhaps you have even brought tribute?"
What do you say?

You stare at the swollen fat leech and are barely able to hide your contempt. He may have been a powerful figure once, and is doubtlessly still quite strong, but he has grown fat and lazy with all of his servants to feed and serve him. You do your best to play nice for long enough to pick his brain before you rip and tear his corpulent form.
"I have helped your servants bring you food in return for finding out what you know about me and any others like me. I wish to know if I am alone in my species."
Selmun gazes at you for a moment as he gorges on one of the deer you have brought.
Roll me a 2d100, one for hiding your emotion, another for getting him to answer you.

97, 90. Good rolls guys.

Finally he comes up for air and begins to speak. "I have lorded of this forest for time uncountable, and I have only seen one such as you. Most of your kind are at most the size of a rather runty apple. As for how you came to be, I suspect that Magic stone hanging from your neck is the same one that fell from the sky many years past. I would figure that it created you. Morphed your body into a Lord. IF a weak and small one. In fact, I imagine that without that trinket dangling from your neck, you would just make screeching noises should you try and talk. Pathetic really. As a final gift to you, I will say that should you wish to create others of your particular species then that stone would be the key for you. Now it has been nice meeting my new servant, but I tire of speaking now, you may go."

Selmun begins to bellow with laughter, grinning at your fealty and clapping his pudgy little front arms together. All the way until your spikes scythe down and cleave his arms from his body before shoving deeply in his chest and raking downwards splitting him open like a ripe fruit. He shrieks in pain and spits a weak jet of acid at you. Already nearing death before the fight even starts, it doesn't look like this "Lord of the forest" will be such for long. You misjudged the ability of Selmun. You thought you would easily kill him and have an easy bloodless victory. You thought a lot of things before the acid struck, melting into your face and decimating your senses. You mandibles part, shrieking your endless pain to the world. Blinded and burning. Everything is a blazing agony and there are only two things left in your pain drunk mind. They are soul crushing anguish and blood lust. You need your revenge. You will maul and destroy Selmun. You will devour his corpse and all he will be ever after is a pile of your shit. You screech of pain turning into a roar of primal hate you crush him between your strong mandibles. You crush him again and again until all that is left of the once mighty and worshiped Selmun is a pile of bloody mush with crumbled bits of bone scatted throughout. the room and water around you crimson, though you will never see it. Again you roar out, proclaiming your eternal victory, and you begin to feast on your fallen foe.

You make sure to eat Every. Last. Bit. of the hateful worm. there is nothing but your bloated gut and acid scarred blinded face left to be Selmun's legacy. You hear the whimpering of the lizardfolk, cowering in the corners of the room. You turn your head, left and right. Unable to see but able to hear their sobs you tell them that they will never again serve the Worm. They will fetch clean water and scrub you and this place clean of his gore. This is your cave now, but they may live their lives in it. You are the Lord of this land, but they will not be feeding while you lay there, lazy and fat. That night there is a celebration. You are scrubbed clean and covered in garlands of flowers as the lizardfolk dance their dances, sing their songs, and celebrate their rise from slaves under Selmun to being free subjects in your land. Your last thoughts before you slip into a fever dream and try to mend your pain filled body is that this land is yours now, but in the future ALL land will be yours.
By the next morning your body has done it's best to heal you, but had little success. it seems.. you are permanently blind. Chitin has grown over the scarred pits where your eyes had been, making your head a solid mass of blue-black shell with a gaping maw between two large mandibles. You body still weaker than you would like, and feverish, you try to find you way from the cave and back to your old home. stumbling and staggering, your large form splashes in the waters but you are unable to work your way out. You are lost and helpless.

End of quest no. 2. Thanks for all the fun guys, sorry it wasn't longer. I will update my twitter when I run again. I hope everyone had a good time.
If you have any advice or complaints please feel free to leave them here, I will read them.

This could be a fun quest, especially since you actually stuck with the blindness and found a solution to expand our power while still holding a large disadvantage. For some reason, not many QMs are willing to do things like that.

Eyes were a tactical weakness anyway.

Now we can just grow our headplates to the point they are completely fused when we are not using our mouth.

Although hopefully we pick up some form of echolocation or telepathic geo-mapping sense so we don't have to rely on our siblings and spawn all the time.
