Last time you were blinded by an older Lord. A massive worm who had enslaved a race of lizard men. You were lost and helpless without your eyes, but because of your kindness to your lesser siblings, you were found and rescued. Your mind has merged with theirs, and you can now give them orders as well as see through their eyes. You are a Swarm Lord.
You are at the start of a new day, and at the next nightfall your worshiper will start the endentured workers rebellion against the king's soldiers. You may wish to be there to help, if only the enjoy the ripping and tearing.

If anybody from the first two quests comes along, I am sorry for the stupidly long wait, life fucked with me pretty good.

You wonder where those little lizard folk have gone. You decide that since you have saved them, you should know what they are doing. perhaps even get some tribute?
You mobilize your swarm, sending your siblings out into the woods, flowing towards where they were last seen. It is almost too easy once you arrive. you are actually surprised you didn't find this trail while you were blind. a path of crushed bushes and trodden down grass leads through the forest for a mile or two and finally to a small tend village next to a stream. You have found them alright, but how will you interact with them?

You give a greeting chirp, a loud bass croaking. The lizards sitting around a cook fire jump in alarm, staring at you in cautious terror. Your swarm gathering around you, occasionally scuttling out around the legs of the lizard men. Your voice bellows out, asking to see their leader. eventually an older, scarred lizard emerges from a tent and bows before you. "Hello, Swarm Lord. We thank you again for freeing our people." You nod at him, and ask if they are happy with where they are now, and why they left the caves. The elder smiles at you and says "We are finally free to live in under the trees and fishing in our clean rivers, free of that filthy swamp. If there is ever anything you may require within reason, we will do our best to aid you."

You make you way to the outskirts of human controlled territory. As you peer through the bushes you see more of the workers, you don't know which would be on your side tonight so perhaps you shouldn't destroy them so carelessly. After some almost discoveries and careful sneaking, you manage to distribute some of your swarm into the shrubbery surrounding the human camp, and find a single guard. a tall man, covered in a shining golden shell, like your carapace. a horse tied to a nearby sapling, as the man relieves himself into a bush.

Lucky lucky. One of these days bad things will happen, I am sure of it.
He whimpers, all attempts at bravery gone.
He tells you that the king is using disposable workers that nobody cares about, such as the homeless, prisoners, and other such undesirables, to clear out this forest to try and remove any threats from creatures that live within and also give him more land to use for farming or building towns and cities.
They suspect rebellion from the prisoners but nothing in particular has been noted, though there have been a few of the stranger ones praying to an unknown deity.
as for your kind, it is common knowledge that strange giant creatures are sometimes born one way or another, and are often hunted for sport by the rich if they are small enough. the larger are hunted by the military to dispose of them.

very close, but no cigar. Sorry chaps.
The time has come. You wake and realize that you still hunger, but with any luck, not for long. As your swarm leads you from the cave you notice four little lizards, armbands and tunics covered in leaves and branches to conceal them, standing out front of your cave, one of them admiring the horse you have there.
You tell them that it is time, (Do you also tell them they can have the horse, perhaps for their aid in this matter?)
As your troops get closer to the camp, you hear sounds of battle. finally clearing the treeline you see tents and building on fire, people shouting in confusion, it seems like the fight has just started. You see a guard shove his sword through the chest of a worker who ran up to ask him what was happening, the guards don't seem to be worried about who they kill. What do you do?
>Let them fight each other to the end then mop them all up

>>307451
Your siblings emerge from their hiding places and jump on anyone nearby, devouring screaming workers and guards alike.
As you and the majority of your swarm go around the outskirts of the fight picking off more guards, taking a bite here and there to sate your growing hunger.
Occasionally you see an arrow or two fly from a bush and puncture a throat or face, killing a guard. Once you even saw a running guard, armed with a large spear take an arrow through his heel, bringing him down. as he tried to crawl away, little reptilian forms grab his legs and haul him screaming into a bush. finally you see tattered green banners with a poorly drawn beetle on them being waved over a particularly cohesive group of rebels, fighting the guards.

You roar, your rage building as you see your followers being slain from the eyes of your swarm. You hit the fray like a storm of death. Bodies everywhere. Some guards are pulled down and taken apart by the angry chattering tide, others crushed and scythed in half by your massive bulk. You see your cultist crowing with delight as he thrusts a wicked dagger into the throat of a begging guard, grinning like a mad man as his blood gushes onto the ground. A larger than average knight rides at you on his warhorse, leveling a lance towards you. Roll a 1d100 for defence and another for attack. 89,97. gods help that poor man.
You laugh, great bellowing roars, echoing through the battlefield. Your swarm converges on the horse, devouring its legs in moments. it collapses onto the ground where it is stripped of flesh by the swarm. Your laugh turns into a hearty chuckle as your scythes swing downward, lopping off his left arm. His right swings up with a pick hammer, just barely cracking through your chitin. Enraged you swing again taking his left leg. You siblings begin to surround the man, taking bites of exposed bits between his armor or feasting on his severed limbs. You lower your mandibles and crush his torso. He emits a gurgling scream as you drop his mangled body into your maw.
Much better.
You survey the fight, and it is looking like an easy win. You have almost driven the guards to extinction and only scattered fighting is left.

You have a dream. In this dream there are hundreds, maybe thousands of men in golden armor. There are men who glow and shoot fire from their hands. There are even monsters, giant and cruel. but you do not fear. For at your chest the Asteroid glows. bright green and warm, it heats your body, filling you with its protection and love. You grow warm. Too warm. You are burning. You are burning but you like it. The green fire of the Asteroid is molding and heating you, forging you into something better than you were. You wake, seeing the cavern around you through the eyes of your swarm. You are different. You feel the power of your asteroid thrumming against your chest and as you flex, your scythes and mandibles erupt in a green flame. a cultist walk into the cave, bringing firewood to the back to try and start a cookfire with his brothers. You snap your eyes face in his direction and he screams, writhing as the burning green holocaust ignites him and in an instant he and his load are nothing but carbon. a slight breeze blows past and he is gone, blown away like a memory.
You may now use the power of the Asteroid which created you to ignite a target with caustic green flames once a day. The fire burns extremely hot and extremely fast, almost just a flash of green light, causing insane destruction.

It's sounds like we can do both.

>Half your cult construct certain things in/around the cave that would improve the quality of living for yourself and the swarm. Or perhaps defenses, or a way of concealment, or even just sheltering it from heat or chill.
>Bring the horse and other spoils of war to the lizard men for their efforts
>Have half of the swarm dig out the cave

40.
The cultists and your swarm work hard and manage to enlarge your cave, but more than ever it is just an ugly hole in the ground. some day you will really need to upgrade this pit into something more suiting your role.
You take the horse, and a few the cultists captured the night before, and have a few of your cultists lead them to the lizard men camp. You present them to the elder, who now wears a cape made of human scalps, and he accepts them with glee. In return he offers you some gems they had found or stolen over the years and kept hidden. You do not sense magic in them, but they are good to look at. Your cultists take the gems back to the cave as the start of your spoils of war. You get the feeling there will be much more to add in the future.

No, you see through the eyes of your swarm, but without them you would be entirely blind.

Next action: try to start a farm of herbivoric creatures. Capture some deer and the like, have the swarm herd them, breed them, etc for a reliable food supply.
>>
>>308392
If you want to do that, roll me a 1d100 and I will remember for next time
>>
Rolled 50, 70, 100 = 220 (3d100)

>>308404
Lemme consolidate this shit instead of three posts, since other anons are gone i think
>>
>>308752
Well, I guess we're a natural born farmer. That, or we know how to dominate the minds of lesser creatures, or increase their breeding rates exponentially.
>>
>>308761
Dominate the minds of lesser creatures, everyone will be a part of the swarm, the swarm is all.
>>
No weapons and armour scraps left for the lizard men? We can exchange them in return for their loyalty.
