As you had looked for the map app, you found a camera app as well as an Internet one and some games. No email, your contacts are empty besides Danni and emergency services... are you a recluse or something?

You check to see... 2 photos- you are definitely a recluse of some kind; either that or you don't use your phone a whole lot.

Not only that but one of them is just a pocket shot from the obvious black photo but the other at least has something. A city skyline and a building with the name AIDI on it. Could be a clue of some sort. You could probably search it up later when you aren't worrying someone else, a.k.a Danni.

Besides, walking while using a phone isn't the greatest of ideas.

I drew it kemono style to suppress the furry as best I could. My kemono is shit though but it'll get better. The other choice was Gnoll and that would've been heck of a choice to draw kemono.

I think this suits Kiwi better (and makes me look less like a furfag)- after 2 hours of pain and trial and error, Kiwi is now less anthro-furry cat girl thing is merely just a kemonomimi! There are other races that are beast-like (gnolls, lizard-folf, kobolds, cutebolds, etc.) but the decisions made got us where we are now.

You have discovered: RENVILLE R.R. You may now come and go whenever you please- as long as you have money for the trip that is.

When you get inside the station, which isn't really busy, you see few people- a couple of fey, some elves, humans here and there and so forth. An average day in this land you assume. You also spot monsters roaming around as well, going about their daily business that involves taking... a train?

You recall trains as a thing to get around the land quickly for a low price.

Out of everyone in the station ticket hall, few stand out, and Danni doesn't seem to be here specifically considering they haven't come up to greet you or anything. Nearby is the hallway to the platforms, a cafe and the restrooms.

You quickly call Danni to see where they may be but get no answer. Looks like you'll have to find them the hard way.

You go down the hallway towards the cafe, simply named "The Railway Cafe". You go inside to see that this little cafe is quite popular: every table inside is occupied! Not only that but the line for food is somewhat long but the smell of fresh... coffee?

You seem to recall waking up every morning to get coffee. It seems certain things trigger memories to resurface. Sadly, that's all you get this time.

While every table is occupied, there are two that have only one person sitting in them, both waiting for someone to show up from the looks of it- a gnoll who keeps looking at their watch and a dark elf who's on their phone but keeps glancing outside the cafe. Could one of them be Danni?

You take the other phone out of the garbage, cleaning off a little, before taking it with you.

You then realize your only lead to who you are is now missing... or may have abandoned you. As you hold the Danni's phone, you get a thought- checking it out might give you a hint but there isn't much you can do without a pass code and it is most likely not your pass code. You try anyways and...

It unlocks when you start the phone. This Danni is very careless.

What in the world is 5chan? You decide to look at that site another time and check the regular photos.

The photos on the other hand are mostly nature shots and cityscapes. Danni seems to like taking "artsy" photos over regular self-portraits because most have some sort of filter on them.

Considering there are so many photos, it would take some time to find one with a person in it but you can skim through in hope.

Oh shit. You remember Danni and yourself now! It's all starting to come back as you stare at the photo of you two with your police badges on... the things you both prided on.

Danni, or Danielle Keats, Homicide Detective for the 1st Precinct of the Adverine Metro Police Department.
Kiwi, or Kailey Baker, Narcotics Detective for the 1st Precinct of the Adverine Metro Police Department.

The two of you have been friends since Primary and graduated the Police Academy top of the class, working towards being detectives and gaining the positions within 3 years and hang out time to time. Now that you know everything once more, you realize so many things from the past few hours questioned.

Were you attacked? Why you and not Danni?
Why was Danni unconcerned for your wellbeing- you know now that she would jump through raging flames to help you.
Where's Danni- she would never abandon you; was she kidnapped or worse?
Why was Danni's phone in the trash? Where's your wallet?
Did this whole thing happen because of your position?

Before you can even think of an answer for any of these questions, the station intercom went off.

"Attention all customers of the Gail Village Line, due to an incident within the station, Renville Station is now being closed; shuttles will be provided for transit to the next station on the line- Makenburg Square Station. We thank you for riding with Adervine East Commuter Railroad."

Oh shit... it can't be...

You dash off to find of any sort, hoping that your worst thought is not true.

You have high hopes that she took care of herself, because...

Danni can't be dead... can she?
