You peek around the corner to see Nobuhiko and a bespectacled boy with black hair and a stern demeanor arguing intensely.

"I don't care where you came from or how much money your parents have, the rules are the rules and you WILL follow them!"

"Or what?" jeers Nobuhiko, giving the boy a shit-eating grin. "You'll lecture me again?"

"I'll report you to the principal and plead for your expulsion!" shouts the stern boy. That only makes Nobuhiko laugh. "Go ahead, ya friggin' stool pigeon. I'd love nothing more than to get out of this dump you call a school!"

"Hey, break it up you two!" shouts a teacher. "If you keep yelling at each other, you're both gonna be late for class! Furthermore, Katsumoto-san, how many times have I told you to stop hounding every student that you think is breaking the rules?"

Katsumoto goes red in the face. "But he was clearly attempting to sneak off campus!"

The teacher crosses his arms. "Well, clearly he's still on campus."

Katsumoto's face turns a deeper shade of red and he storms by, visibly frustrated.

Nobuhiko cackles. However, he's cut short by the teacher. "Just because I told off Shumei doesn't mean you're getting off scot-free. Get to class, now!"

Nobuhiko huffs and rolls his eyes. "Yes, sir..." he says as sarcastically as humanly possible.

You decide you should head to class, too.

You sit down in the restaurant to see if you can handle the Ramen King Challenge. The cook grins cockily. "Oh ho, someone's eyes are bigger than their stomach. Let's see how much punishment you can take, boy."

He goes into the kitchen, and when he comes back out he's holding the biggest ramen bowl you've ever seen. The bowl alone is almost the size of your head! There's ramen piled up so high it almost spills out of the bowl- plus, heaps upon heaps of chicken, chili powder, and bean sprouts.

You steel yourself and dig into the bowl.


....

It's ten minutes in and there's still more ramen than the bowl can hold....


....


Twenty minutes in and your stomach's already starting to hurt....you feel bloated and getting to the point where you don't like the taste of the ramen anymore....

Forty minutes in and you feel like you're going to pop like a balloon...

When the timer reaches sixty minutes, you are resting your head on the counter trying not to throw up from overeating. You're pretty sure you've also consumed more sodium than what's recommended for the human body.


"Well, looks like another competitor falls short of the mark," the chef says haughtily as he takes your unfinished bowl away, replacing it with your bill: 3000 yen. You groan as you fork over the money and lurch out of the restaurant, clutching your stomach and groaning.

You get home and immediately feel the need to go to bed...

After rounding up Momoko and explaining Xinaian to her, you, Momoko, and Hiroji meet up with Yolanda at the entrance to the cave and head in.

"How deep does this place go?" asks Momoko. Yolanda shrugs. "I can only sense so far down...but there seems to be something on the fifth level...something strong."

Hiroji swallows nervously. "You mean like that crazy trigger-happy ghost thing?!" he says with alarm. "No, it's not even close to the Reaper's power, but we should be prepared." answers Yolanda.

You check to see which Persona you have active as you begin your exploration- it's Centaur.


You run down a hallway to see a Shadow cluster guarding what appears to be a treasure chest.

"That could hold something valuable." says Yolanda.

"Alright then," you say as you bring your spear to bear. "Let's go."

Your ice spell just barely misses the Shadow you had your sights on. Hiroji shoots at one but it barely even looks injured. However, Momoko's Persona launches a Garu at it and that knocks the Shadow to the ground.

"Keep it up!" yells Yolanda as Momoko blasts the remaining pair of Shadows with wind,

"We gonna finish 'em or what?"

You manage to beat the Shadows in submission. Momoko looks like she's still not used to her sword, but she still manages to get some good hits in.
