In this quest you play as Wade Wakeman, a 16 year old boy with a heart of gold and the wielder of the Omnitrix. This story is being told in an alternate universe, in which there are no longer any remaining Tennysons. Characters from earlier seasons will appear, but not always in a way that you’d expect.

[Wade]: Dreadnaught? What’s that?

Trixy chirps to life and answers your question without being asked to.

[Trixy]: It is a legendary vessel that was said to be used by the Contemelia. These 5th dimensional creatures were rumored to be able to create universes, using devices known as “Anihilaargs”. And while these devices could create universes, they held enough destructive power to wipe out an already existing universe. This “Dreadnaught” was thought to be their manufacturing vessel for these dangerous devices. But of course, none of this can be confirmed by a reputable source aside from my creator, Azmuth.

[Wade]: Yet another addition to the Azmuth mystery box, then.

[Trixy]: I am sure that he will be more than willing to assist us once we locate him.

Your AI sounds like she's placing a lot of faith in her creator. Hopefully he'll live up to the hype.

[Wade]: If you say so. Do you think this Ghostfreak knows where to find the ship?

[Wendy]: No, she's just been thinking about it a whole lot. I don't think she knows where it is or how to get it up and running. That'd require some serious knowledge about Pre-tech.

Wendy gazes in your direction while kneeling on the ground, but you can tell that she's still unable to see you.

[Wade]: Pre-tech? Like technology from a really long time ago?

[Trixy]: She refers to technology that predates even our own universe. If we could somehow discover what sort of energy signature an Anihilaarg gave off, we might be able to locate the vessel. But currently, we have no leads.

This is much bigger than you thought it would be. You're gonna need all the help you can get to locate this ship before anyone else does.

[Wade]: If this Ghostfreak is after it, we'll have to put out all the stops in order to prevent her from finding this ship.

You try to grab Wendy's arm, only to be blocked off by Killa-Byte. Wendy's eyes go back to normal, and she quickly gets a grasp of what's going on.

[Wendy]: It's okay, Kay Bee. He's cool.

The yellow Mechamorph carefully inspects you for a moment, before receding back into Wendy's prosthetic arm. What a loyal little guy.

You grab Wendy by her arm and pull her back to her feet. She tries to stand on her won, but is assaulted by yet another painful migraine. You stop her from losing her balance and falling to the ground again.

[Wade]: You alright?

[Wendy]: Not really. That Ghost-bitch...she really did a number on my head.

Wendy needs some serious help. And there's only one person that knows how to help her. But, you should keep her identity a secret for now.

[Wade]: Listen sis, I'm gonna bring you to a doctor that should be able to help you.

[Wendy]: No way! I don't want some quack poking around my skull-plates.

[Wade]: I trust this person, and they're doing it for free. We don't know how long these migraines and visions will last, and we don't know if they'll prove to be fatal. This might just save your life, Wendy.

Wendy closes her eyes and carefully considers your words, before turning back to you with a look of pure determination. She really does look just like you sometimes. It's uncanny.

[Wendy]: Okay. Take me to them. If I don't like the look of the place, I'm not going through with it. Got it?

[Wade]: Got it.

You're gonna have your work cut out for you when she finds out it's Iden. But you'll have to cross that bridge when you get to it.

You exit the temple and meet up with Koba. It seems that the Mammoth woman treated with her children a few minutes ago. Koba tried to offer the Irukanji some Taydens to help them repair their temple, but they refused to accept payment from outsiders. Their only request was that you never return to their village ever again. You'll never understand how some of these aliens think.

Once Koba reports the situation to the local police, you and the others depart from the jungle planet and plot a course to return to Iden's lab. When you turn to look at Wendy, she looks like she's having trouble staying awake. Maybe you should chat her up to keep her awake.

[Wade]: Thanks for not taking the stone. That was pretty cool of you.

[Wendy]: Oh yeah, I lost in fight with my little brother and felt guilty about stealing a fucking rock. I'm feeling pretty cool right about now.

Wendy winces in pain and clutches her head for a moment. She's not looking too hot.

[Wade]: Is there anything I can do to lessen the pain?

[Wendy]: Actually, it'd be nice if you could turn down the heat.

[Wade]: It's like 60 degrees in here.

[Wendy]: Oh...well that's not good.

Looks like she's running a fever. You have just the remedy for that. And his name is Big Chill!

After transforming, you place your hand on her head to cool her off a bit. Man, she's really burning up.

[Wendy]: Oh...that feels amazing...

[Wade]: I forgot to ask, did you leave a ship on the planet back there?

[Wendy]: Nope, I flew there with Killa-Byte. Wasn't planning on going back to that shithole anyway.

She lays down a bench while you leave your hand on her head. You glance over to her glove and remember that you've never asked her how she got it.

[Wade]: Hey, do you mind if I have Trixy scan the Amalgamatrix?

[Wendy]: Knock yourself out. I'm tired of using the damn thing anyway. Cheap piece of shit...

Wendy mutters the last part under her breath before raising her hand for Trixy to see.

[Trixy]: It appears that a miniature genetic splicer has been placed into this device. Any DNA sample that it stores is combined with several others and run through several thousand simulations in a fraction of a second. This determines which outcome would result in the creation of a superior species.

[Wade]: Wow. That's amazing!

[Trixy]: No, it is wrong. 0.3 seconds is not nearly enough time to properly process and simulate the evolutionary potential of those life-forms. There would be far too many genetic disorders and a great lack of evolutionary advantages. That sort of creature would not live a very long life.

[Wendy]: Which is why it times out before then, dumb-ass. As long as I make sure it doesn't kill me, then I can use it again next time.

For the first time ever, Trixy is absolutely speechless in an argument.

[Trixy]: These irregular mutations do not only effect you when you are transformed. Some of them have a chance of staying with you when you revert back to your human form. Are you capable of understanding the consequences behind your actions? Your lifespan has most likely been considerably shortened at this point. It would be ill advised to continue using this imperfect device any longer.

[Wendy]: I'm here for a good time, not a long time.

[Trixy]: I...I do not understand.

[Wendy]: I didn't choose to be born, okay. No one does. I might as well make the most of it while I still can. You should too. Can't be fun living in that watch all the time.

[Trixy]: ...You are a fool.

Trixy remains silent after that statement. You've never seen her insult someone before. Better change the topic. Things are getting a bit tense.

(Cont.)
>>
[Wade]: So, what have you been up to since we last saw each other?

[Wendy]: After I got my ass handed to me, I flew back to the Doc's lab.

[Wade]: The doc? Is that the guy that made the glove?

[Wendy]: Yup. Dr. Psychobos. Big ol' purple crab.

Wendy makes snapping motions with her hands while describing the doctor. He must be pretty intelligent to build an Omnitrix. It's an imperfect one, but it still works.

[Wendy]: After that, I'd been recruiting some promising talent across the galaxy.

[Wade]: Promising talent? Trying to put together a band?

[Wendy]: It's a band of sorts, yeah. I was thinking of carving out my own little corner of the galaxy and hunkering down. It's the only way I'm gonna survive this stupid galactic war. Plus, there won't be anyone trying to tell me what to do. I'll be the boss!

[Wade]: So you've been going around scouting for bodyguards and lackeys?

[Wendy]: Anyone that could be of some use to me, really. I would've offered a position to you if you weren't such a pixie.

Your sister smiles up at you and you try to to return it, despite not having lips.

[Wade]: Is that an alien insult?

[Wendy]: Nah, I just think it suits you.

The both of you get quiet for a while, but you can't stop thinking of what Trixy said before. Is your sister really dying?

>"What was all that about earlier? Are you really dying?"
>"You should value your own life more, you know. Getting yourself killed won't solve anything."
>"You don't have to run and hide, you know. We can protect each other and end this war together. We were made for this!"

[Wade]: You really should value your own life more, you know. Getting yourself killed won't solve anything.

Wendy faces away from you and lays on her side.

[Wendy]: Whatever. I'm supposed to take life advice from some kid that's lived a sheltered life on a planet that hasn't even reached Level 3 tech?

[Wade]: A sheltered life is better than no life. There's no point in dying for something stupid like that. It isn't noble or impressive, it's just sad. I know it hasn't been easy for you to-

[Wendy]: The fuck do you know?! It's been what, a month and a half since you discovered that aliens exist? You don't know anything about what goes on out here.

[Wade]: I know enough. Back when you were younger, you had no choice but to survive by any means necessary. But you don't have to do any of that reckless stuff anymore. Now...you just want to get yourself killed doing something stupid that could've been easily avoided.

Wendy doesn't respond to you this time. The both of you sit in silence for a while before you attempt to spark a conversation again.

[Wade]: Hopefully, you won't have to worry about the war for long. I'm getting ideas on how to stop it.

[Wendy]: ...Like what? Nagging them all to death?

There was a bit of humor mixed into that insult.

[Wade]: I think we might be able to find Azmuth. For real this time.

Wendy rolls over to look you in the eye.

[Wendy]: No shit? Man...that would actually make the galaxy a bit less shitty. How you gonna pull it off?

[Wade]: I'm working on it.

[Wendy]: Pfft. Some plan...

You sit in silence for the rest of the ride, clearly at an impasse with your sister. As the shuttle docks in Iden's lab, you help your sister up and lead her towards your creator.

Iden approaches you wearing a Hazmat suit obscures her face. Hopefully that'll be enough to throw off Wendy.

Your sister squints at Iden, suspicious of the masked medical practitioner.

[Wendy]: Who the hell's this clown?

[Iden]: Your savior. Now come. We haven't much time to lose.

[Wendy]: Nuh-uh. You're gonna show me what's under the mask, or I'm outta here.

You and everyone else freeze up, unsure of how to proceed from here.

[Iden]: Are you sure? My features are quite...unsightly.

[Wendy]: Then I guess it's a good thing I skipped breakfast today, huh? Off with the mask!

Wendy grabs the mask and tears it off to reveal...a horribly disfigured man?! Iden now looks like a horribly disfigured human burn victim. Is that makeup or something? It looks so real...

Wendy carefully inspects Iden's face before returning their mask to them.

[Wendy]: Well shit. Sorry about that, doc.

[Iden]: It's quite alright. Now if you would come with me-

[Wendy]: Not unless he goes too.

Wendy points at you while leaning on Iden.

[Iden]: ...Very well.

You and Iden lead Wendy to the operating table and lay her down gently. Koba helps to prepare the equipment necessary for the examination, while you and Iden try to figure out how to remove the glove.

(Cont.)
>>
For the past 5 minutes, Iden's drones have been hacking through the Amalgamatrix's firewalls with red lasers of some sort.

[Wade]: So how do we get this thing off?

Iden tugs on her face to reveal that your parasite buddy was disguising her. After placing it back in it's container, she goes back to working on the glove.

[Iden]: It isn't like the Omnitrix. This device is not fused to her flesh on a molecular level. We simply need to find the right...aha!

Iden presses down hard on the palm of the Amalgamatrix, causing it to hiss violently and open up on its own. The good doctor slides the glove off of Wendy's hand, and you notice the bruises that cover it. It must be painful for her to wear that thing for too long. Wendy was right about that glove. It is a piece of shit.

Iden places the glove on a separate table and administers a drug to put Wendy to sleep. She clutches your arm tightly before her eyes close and her grip loosens. She must be out cold now.

[Iden]: I believe that you wished to check the transformation logs, correct?

[Wade]: Yeah. We need to figure out exactly what sort of issues this thing has been giving her. Hey Trixy, can you help me out here?

Trixy scans the Amalgamtrix without saying a word. Maybe she's concentrating? Or maybe she's still thinking about what Wendy said to her.

[Trixy]: I have accessed the device's transformation log. Downloading data and transferring to your database.

Iden's computer screen is flooded with endless rows of information. Though, she seems to keeping up with it somehow.

[Iden]: This is an extensive list. We will need to run a few tests. And by a few, I mean a lot.

[Wade]: How long will that take?

Iden places a hand on your shoulder while re-configuring her drones.

[Iden]: It will take me at least 3 days to test her for all of these symptoms. And that's just the easy part. Once I've found out what's ailing her, I will need to cleanse her body of these genetic defects. That will require me to alter her genetic code in order to kick-start the healing process. If that isn't handled carefully, she won't make it through the surgical procedure. And let's not even talk about the brain surgery.

You can feel your heart sink as she lists the necessary steps that she needs to get through.

[Iden]: All things considered, this procedure will take roughly...seven months to complete.

[Wade]: Is there anything I can do to help speed this up?

[Iden]: Not unless you wish to stay here and help for the next few months. I could use an extra pair of hands on deck.

Is there anyone you know that's smart enough to help your sister?

Actually, there is!

[Wade]: Hey Koba, do you think that you can get Myaxx over here?

[Koba]: You want me to liberate an informant that's under 24/7 surveillance at Plumber HQ?

[Wade]: Uh...

[Koba]: Sure thing. I can do that. The hard part is avoiding the guys that are keeping an eye on her.

[Wade]: We'll have to figure that out along the way. Let's go.

You inform Iden of your plan and hop into the shuttle with Koba. It won't take long to get back to Plumber HQ, but you'll have to make sure that you aren't being followed by anyone. That'll make the trip a bit longer.

You wait patiently, running your fingers along the armor plating welded onto your gauntlets. Once you arrive at the docking bay, Notch parks the shuttle and erases the route from his navigational system. Can't have anyone finding out where you've been.

Koba steps out and makes his way to the holding cells. He shouldn't have too much trouble getting Myaxx out, but the problem is leaving without drawing too much suspicion. While you're here, you might as well pick up your new gear.

You proceed to the armory to pick up the gauntlets that you ordered. Ven'dor managed to flawlessly retrofit the arc gauntlet and the force-field generator. You were a bit disappointed when you realized that they wouldn't fit over your armor, but Trixy suggested that she help you integrate them into your suit. The Techadon cube should help with the tech integration process, but you wonder how useful they would be to you now that you've got this new suit.

Just then, the lights flicker on and off, and the room is bathed in a deep shade shade of red. A noisy alarm blares over the loudspeakers, causing you and everyone else to jump back in surprise. It kinda reminds you of the fire alarm from your school.

[Wade]: What's going on?

[Ven'dor]: No idea, rookie. Maybe it's just a drill?

A yellow and black ooze seeps from the ceiling and falls onto the automated turrets mounted on the walls. The ooze quickly integrates with the technology and upgrades it with rocket launchers. A Galvanic Mechamorph? It kinda looks like...Killa-Byte?

[Wade]: I don't think this is a drill!

[Trixy]: Forcefield generator integrated. Arc Generator integration at 45%

Gotta act fast!

>Form a reinforced force field around yourself and Ven'dor.
>Duck under the table with Ven'dor. You need a minute to think.
>Use your wrist-mounted blasters to take out those turrets.
>Call for help on your Plumber's badge.
>Transform into an alien.(Which one?)

This is one of those times when you're grateful to be wearing a mask.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, prepare Zipmunk for me?

You don't hear anything from her, but a green check-mark appears on your HUD. Is that her way of saying "okay"?

[Wade]: I knew you didn't like me, but we could've talked this out like civilized adults!

[???]: Foolish watch boy. Eliminating you first will save me trouble in the future.

You didn't know Killa-Byte was a girl. Or that he could speak such fluent English. Something about this is strange...

Just then, several more turrets spawn from the ground and ceiling. The time for diplomacy has passed!

[Wade]: Now!

You snap your fingers and the primed transformation activates, bathing the room in purple light. When it dissipates, Ven'dor sees that you've become Zipmunk!

>Fry the turret's systems, along with the mechamorph.

[Wade]: Ven'dor, duck!

[Ven'dor]: You don't gotta tell me twice!

The blue, burly man ducks behind the counter, a stray shot narrowly grazing his handlebar mustache.

Now you can rest easy knowing that there won't be any innocents caught in the crossfire. As the turrets fire at you in a barrage of heated plasma, you gracefully slip between the shots by zipping from place-to-place. You could destroy these things...or you could just disconnect them from the power grid.

You become pure energy and slip into one of the turrets and take a peek around the grid. Whatever's taken them over, they certainly don't want to touch you. It's cinch to disable the turrets in this room. You just need to disable the seperate power grid for this room. It won't affect the other facilities too much, but the door will be disabled. You hope Ven'dor doesn't wanna leave any time soon.

Must be a mechamorph based on their aversion to electricity. And it looks like they've managed to hijack the defense systems of over half the facility. They might even have their dirty little fingers dipped into the life-support systems. Communications are down, so everyone's dead in the water. This isn't good.

You might be able to fry this thing and clear it out of the majority of this ship's systems. It'd probably cripple this base, but it's better than having everyone jettisoned out into space by some crazy machine.

Maybe you can find out more by hacking into the surveillance systems.

It looks like the recruits are having trouble with a group of hacked training bots. Most of the other guys are hunkered down, dealing with the hijacked defense systems. The elevators are on lockdown, and some Plumbers are cut off from the rest with little to no oxygen. And there appears to be a...giant robot in the docking bay?!

There's gotta be some way to find the mastermind behind all this! If only you could...hold up. There's a crazy amount of power coming from one of the engine rooms. Though the cameras aren't working down there. Maybe you should check it out.

>Fry the station's systems in an attempt to flush out the enemy. You can't allow this thing to gun down your comrades while you fight it.
>Try to find the mechamorph's main body by reaching out with your energy. You need to end this before it gets any worse.

First, you should reconnect the comms. You need these guys to start working together, or else they’ll be going down with the rest of this station.

You inform everyone of the trapped Plumber’s location and the situation that the cadets are in. They need the most help. As for the giant robot, you notify the First Response Squads of the mechanized murder machine that’s trying to fight its way to the council room. Some ion weaponry should take that thing down in no time.

The majority of the Plumbers that are fighting back against the defense systems should be fine, as long as they don’t try anything too stupid.

Now to find the mechamorph’s main body. You’re pretty sure it’s not in the engine room. That’s too obvious. Like it wants you to find it. But just in case, you notify those nearby to check it out.

You search frantically for the intruder, hoping to find the origin point of these techno-organic roots. And then it hits you.

These roots are being spread in such a manner that it'll mislead those who are looking for the main body. But you're the only one here that can smell her biomechanical blood. The scent is faint, but you sense an unusual amount coming from...the Records Room. That's where the Plumbers keep all their important information. Gotta get there fast.

You fly through the circuitry and cables, arriving at the records room in no time. Upon arriving, you narrowly avoid being swiped at by one of Killa-Byte's tentacles. It appears that your hunch was correct.

Killa-Byte stands before you, sprawled out and connected to every computer in the records room.

[???]: Ah, the Watch-Boy. You found me far faster than I would have liked.

>”What are you doing here?”

We'll interrogate it after the plumbers put it in a cell, not before.
>>
>>3426803
I forgot to ask, will we damage the computers if we separate the mechamorph before zapping it?
>>
>>3426807
You'd have to separate it from the computers and isolate it. It's possible, but you'd need to be very careful to make sure that you don't fry the computers by accident.

This action will increase the DC a bit, as it's more difficult.

[Wade]: I don't think it's a good idea to pick a fight with the space cops on their own turf.

[???]: If this meager struggle is all that the “Mighty Plumbers” can muster, I dare say that I am fairly unimpressed.

[Wade]: Your beef is with me, right? Leave these guys out of it.

You need to find some way to distract her, or at least bait her into doing something stupid.

[???]: Patience, flesh-ling. You'll get your turn. But first, I think I'll take what I came here for.

Her tentacles begin pulsating wildly as she hacks through the Plumber database.

[Wade]: What are you doing here, anyway?

[???]: Obviously, I'm downloading everything from the Plumber's database. Knowledge is power after all.

You don't know what she's after, but you're not about to let her have it!

You zap her tentacles, forcing her to retract them back into her body with a high pitched whine.

[Wade]: And since when did you get so chatty?

Your whiskers twitch, warning you of something coming at you from behind! You attempt to dodge out of the way, but your overwhelmed by the sheer bulk of her large techno-organic limb. It presses you to the ground with great force, and you're having trouble breathing as the black ooze spreads along your fur.

[???]: You're absolutely right. There's no merit in associating with fools. I suppose I'll have to dispose of you now, human.

You're lifted into the air and slammed into desks and walls with enough force to crack them. Zipmunk must be more durable than you thought, because you should have quite a few fractures from this rough treatment. Your vision is starting to become blurred and your head feels heavier. You've gotta get out of her grip.

She ceases her relentless assault and brings you closer to her, just to gloat one last time. Man, you hate it when bad guys do this...

[???]: Any last words?

[Wade]: Yeah...

Killa-Byte leans in closer to hear you.

[Wade]: Never monologue when you have the upper hand!

You take a deep breath and start absorbing all the energy in this room. Whether it be from the computers, the lights, or Killa-Byte herself. Streams of energy begin to pour from her arms, chest and face, as she screams in agony. It must be incredibly painful to have every molecule in her body tear itself apart. You'll try not to burn her out completely, but you need to erase everything she's gathered from these computers.

You direct all the energy through her head, in an attempt to give her some minor brain damage. That doesn't sound good no matter how you swing it.

Eventually, her body collapses to the floor, and you see a white creature fly out of her body. It looks to be a female Ectonurite, with a tuft of hair draped over her face and chains running all over her body. She stares at you for a moment, her partially transparent body still smoking from the shock you gave her. She must've been possessing Killa-Byte. How long was she in there?!

You try to open your mouth to speak, but you're interrupted by a strange rumbling in your stomach. Well that can't be good...

[Wade]: Too full...

All the energy you absorbed has nowhere to go! You've gotta release it somewhere!

The Ectonurite flies toward you, but is blown away by a blinding white light that peeks out from between your chubby cheeks. Here it comes!

A jet of pure energy erupts from your mouth, incinerating all things in your path. A big chunk of the records room turns to ash as you turn your head to try and control the beam. Finally, it dies down after about 10 seconds, but it leaves you feeling more exhausted than ever. You spin around in a circle, dazed and confused, before flopping onto your back.

You look up at the Ectonurite, who appears to be fleeing the scene. You'd chase after her, but you don't even have enough strength left to move your little finger. You're eyes close shut right before witnessing a yellow burst of light consume your body.

----------------------

When you wake up, you see Koba kneeling down next to you with a concerned look on his face. Killa-Byte is lying near you, but you're unsure if he/she's even alive.

[Koba]: Easy, kid. You've done enough.

[Wade]: Did we win?

[Koba]: Well we're not dead, so yeah. We won. It came at a cost though...

You look around to assess the damage that you caused during your fight. And your little light show created a hole so big that you can see the void of space just beyond it. The other Plumbers in the room don't seem to mind it, so you don't think it should be a big problem. Barriers and artificial gravity must be keeping everything from getting sucked outside. Memories of your encounter start coming back to you, causing you to remember the true identity of the intruder.

[Wade]: The Ectonurite! What happened to it?

You try to get up, but a wave of pain wracks your feeble body, caused by a stiff shoulder and sore muscles. Koba looks genuinely confused by your sudden outburst.

[Koba]: The what?

[Wade]: There was an Ectonurite possessing the mechamorph. It should be on the camera footage-

[Koba]: We didn't see an Ectonurite. All the footage we've recorded in the past 48 hours was lost in that blast earlier. Our systems are fried, but we've got most of it backed up in the basement. It'll take a few days to get things up and running again, though.

Your body relaxes a bit upon being deflated by Koba, and your eyes drift over to Killa-Byte. He's not moving...or glowing for that matter.

[Wade]: Please tell me I didn't kill the mechamorph...

[Koba]: You didn't kill the mechamorph. He's just rebooting himself. Most of the damage is interior, but he's got self repairing software installed. All mechamorphs do.

[Wade]: So he'll be okay?

You breathe a sigh of relief, noticing that his body is faintly glowing now.

[Koba]: He will, but he probably won't be the same. Some of the expunged data will be tough to recover, meaning he'll suffer some serious memory loss. Or at least a change in his personality.

You feel a lump in your throat and you get a bit choked up. You don't know how you're gonna break the news to Wendy. But...that's a problem for another day. For now, you think you might just lay on the floor a bit longer...

That is, until Koba leans closer to you and whispers in your ear.

[Koba]: I have Myaxx. If we're going to leave, it has to be now. You can tell me more about the Ectonurite on the way.

>Take a nap in a rented cabin. It's free, and you don't have to clean up after yourself.

You pull yourself up off the ground and give Koba a silent nod before walking with him towards the elevator. But the route he's taking to the docking bay seems very strange. He's already passed the floor you were supposed to get off on.

[Wade]: Where are we going?

[Koba]: You'll see.

The purple alien inserts a key-card into a hidden slot in the button panel, and the elevator stops abruptly, before making a sharp turn on the next floor. You didn't even think this elevator moved in directions other than "up or down".

Once the door opens, you and Koba step out into a dark, empty lot. The only thing that catches your eye is a black, pod-shaped shuttle that sits in the middle of the room. You walk around aimlessly, before seeing the brief glint of eyes staring in the dark. The female Loboan from before steps into the light to reveal herself, her hands behind her back as she stands upright on her crooked legs. You think her name was Kayn.

[Kayn]: The vessel is ready, Captain.

Her muffled voice is easy to hear in this unusually quiet room. You see her sharp eyes dart towards you for a moment, and then back to Koba. You wonder if she knows it's you.

[Koba]: Great work. Make sure I'm not followed, and inform the council that I'm following up on a lead regarding the intruder.

Kayn barely manages to suppress a mischievous chuckle before dragging a claw along her muzzle, creating an unpleasant scraping sound.

[Kayn]: You do know that your absence during these trying times will be noted. It's already difficult enough to shake off your tails and divert the attention of the Investigators.

[Koba]: I know.

[Kayn]: Questions will be asked of you. Unavoidable questions...

[Koba]: I'll handle it.

[Kayn]: Very well. Have a safe trip, Captain~.

The tone of her voice is incredibly smug, considering she's talking to her boss. But Koba doesn't seem to mind too much.

Kayn bows before turning to the elevator, and Koba opens up the shuttle that's been prepared for the both of you. It appears that Myaxx is already inside waiting for you. She nods in your direction as you and Koba take your seats in the shuttle.

[Myaxx]: It's been a while. I see that you've obtained a suit more suited to combat.

>"Hey, the old one was a classic! Plus, it was made by my cousin."
>"Good to see you too. How was your stay at Plumber HQ? Was it everything you dreamed and more?"

[Wade]: Good to see you too. How was your stay at Plumber HQ? Was it everything you dreamed and more.

Myaxx scoffs at your joke and rolls her eyes.

[Myaxx]: Please. My dreams are far more interesting than this floating prison camp. Even the food was bland and colorless.

[Koba]: But besides that, we made sure she was safe here.

[Myaxx]: Until recently that is.

[Wade]: No offense, but how'd Koba manage to sneak you out with no one noticing? What with a woman of your...

Myaxx narrows her eyes and crosses her arms. Gotta choose these next words carefully.

[Wade]: ...Stature. I was gonna say stature.

A dry chuckle escapes Koba's mouth as he pulls put of the station.

[Koba]: Neffrit managed to cloak her whilst avoiding heavily populated areas. He and Kayn are two of my best operatives.

[Myaxx]: I'm glad he managed to get to the shuttle as quickly as we did. I never thought I'd see a lizard sweat that much. I wouldn't be surprised if it left a trail.

[Koba]: Yeah...Kayn's got that covered too.

You drift to sleep and relax for the rest of the way, hoping to regain a bit of your strength.

When you awaken, you see Myaxx and Koba looking rather bored. You don't think they've said a word to one another while you were out.

[Wade]: So...

You draw the attention of both of them.

[Wade]: I kept my end of the bargain from when we last met. Iden's safe and sound in her lab.

[Myaxx]: Yes well, I can't begin to thank you enough for the lengths you've gone through to keep her unharmed. Don't think I'll forget this. I always repay my favors in full.

You begin to think about what Myaxx can do for you, as Koba docks the ship inside of Iden's lab. You all exit the shuttle and allow Myaxx and the doc to have a happy reunion.

Myaxx runs up to Iden and hugs get with bone-crushing force. You swear you can hear something creaking in her body. But Iden's face remains the same.

[Myaxx]: Good to see you, doc.

[Iden]: And you as well, my lovely assistant.

She sets her back down and they both turn towards the lab.

[Iden]: Come. We have much to discuss and much work to be done.

So now that you've given Iden an assistant, the healing process should be much quicker. What do you want to do now?

[Wade]: Before you give her a tour of the place, we need to talk about something.

Everyone turns to face you.

[Iden]: The floor is yours.

You recount the details of your fight with the possessed mechamorph at Plumber HQ. Surprisingly, Koba remembered to recount the costs of the damages that were incurred. You doubt anyone intends to pay for it though.

[Iden]: So the mechamorph known as Killa-Byte, he escaped the lab while being possessed by an Ectonurite?

[Myaxx]: And this Ectonurite is a clone of another Ectonurite in the Omnitrix?

[Koba]: You have a crazy schizo ghost in that watch and you didn't tell me?!

[Wade]: He's only crazy when I use him. That's why he's staying locked.

[Myaxx]: This Spectraphage you mentioned. How come I've never heard of it before now?

Myaxx seems deeply intrigued. You're hoping her expertise in genetics can contribute to finding the cure one day.

[Wade]: Because not even the Ectonurites know that they have it. They all think that it's just their savage nature. Do you think you can come up with a cure for it?

[Iden]: There's an order to these things, my dear. You can't expect me to devote time to both Wendy and the Spectraphage while keeping a timely schedule. You'll need to split these tasks up accordingly, or continue to send capable scientists over to my lab.

You think you know a few more geniuses that can help out, but you don't think they'd be willing to stay cooped up here like Myaxx.

[Koba]: If what you're saying is correct, then that Ectonurite might just be the one you've been looking.

[Myaxx]: Except she's found us first.

[Wade]: If that's the case, then I stopped her from getting some sensitive information from the Records Room.

[Iden]: This Dreadnaught. Do you think it's location was recorded in the Plumber's database?

[Koba]: Not a chance. I would've known about something like that.

[Myaxx]: Just like how you knew about the council-woman's coup?

A wide grin spreads across Iden's face upon hearing Myaxx's retort, while Koba's scowling grows deeper.

[Myaxx]: Word travels fast in prison.

You attempt to get to conversation back on topic before someone's head gets torn off.

[Wade]: So if the female Ghostfreak didn't get what she wanted, then what was she after in the first place? Maybe there's another piece of information that could've been valuable to her?

Koba places his hand on his chin and closes his eyes for a moment.

[Koba]: Not sure. I'll head back and search through the archives later. I should be able to pull something up eventually.

[Wade]: Cool. While you're doing that, I'll hang around here for a bit.

[Koba]: You sure? I promised your Grandpa I'd keep an eye on you.

Koba leans down and softens his voice upon mentioning Grandpa.

[Wade]: Don't worry, I can handle myself.

Koba seems skeptical, but he resigns to respecting your decisions and departs from the hidden lab.

Now to ask Iden about some possible upgrades!

You approach your creator while she preps her tools for another examination on Wendy. You're gonna have to check up on her later.

[Wade]: Hey, do you think this suit can be upgraded even further?

A dry chuckle escapes from her lips as she fiddles with a tool that resembles a deadly egg beater.

[Iden]: That's a silly question. With the addition of the Techadon cube, integrating new technology should be quite easy for you.

[Wade]: Yeah, but I wanted to know if there were any BIG upgrades that I could get. Y'know, something that'll level that playing field.

Iden places a hand on her chin and deeply ponders your inquiry for a moment.

[Iden]: Well, I suppose you could bring me pieces of technology that are exclusive the restricted planets. Like...a Khorosian engine block for example. Only found on Khoros, the home planet of the Tetramands.

[Wade]: What does it do?

[Iden]: What does it do?! It's only the most powerful and virtually indestructible engine block in the entire known galaxy! If I could get my hands on one of those, I could produce a particularly powerful vehicle for your exclusive use.

Your creator seems ecstatic as she describes the feats of technology that is beyond her grasp.

[Wade]: Nice! Anything else you can think of?

[Iden]: Well...there's also the matter of your suit's power source. It is unfortunate, but I will be needing it back eventually.

[Wade]: Wait what?! Not my suit!

You cover your body as if trying to prevent her from taking your suit.

[Iden]: No, you fool. I was referring to the Techadon cube in your belt. I used it since I was lacking in resources, but I was hoping to replace it with a real power source. Yours is far too unstable.

[Wade]: What were you thinking of as a replacement?

[Iden]: A delicious concoction of Element X and Bicenthium Alloy. Once combined, the substance will create a massive surge of energy, capable of powering entire fleets!

[Wade]: Sounds dangerous. Where do I find it?

[Iden]: This one's pretty easy. Both substances can be found on your Earth. Specifically, in certain mines and other various areas. Your AI should be able to assist you in locating deposits. I will notify you if I discover additional upgrades that may become useful to you.

[Wade]: Got it. You go that, Trixy?

A green check-mark pops up on your HUD. You really need to have a chat with your AI.

[Wade]: Hey doc...do you think I can see Wendy?

Iden smiles warmly and places a hand on your shoulder.

[Iden]: Why of course, my pet. Allow me to take you to her.

Iden escorts you into a tent in which she's been conducting various experiments. When you see your sister, you're taken aback by all the machines she's hooked up to. It just seems...wrong.

As if somehow sensing your plight, Iden pushes you towards her gently.

[Iden]: She should be able to hear you, even while unconscious. Is there anything you would like to say?

You sit down next to your sister and take a moment to relax a bit before you start talking.

[Wade]: Hey sis. You look good.

The only response you receive is the hissing sound of her ventilator as she inhales and exhales.

[Wade]: Sorry to tell you this, but Killa-Byte's in pretty bad shape right now. We're doing all we can to help him, and I just wanted you to hear it from me first.

Her breathing grows ragged as you deliver the bad news to her. You just thought she should know what's going on with her friend. You'll have to go back and make sure that he remains safe at Plumber HQ as well.

[Wade]: I'll make sure he gets better, so he'll be able to greet you when you wake up.

Her breathing slows down a bit. Your reassuring words must be calming her down.

You rise from your seat and start to walk towards the door, before turning around to look at her one more time.

[Wade]: Get well soon, sis. You need to help me take down that "Ghostfreak Bitch" from before.

Seeing as she can't respond to your jokes, you should probably make yourself scarce and let her get some rest. Come to think of it, you never got the name of the female Z'Skayr. She's gonna need a unique nickname. "The Lady in Wight" sounds pretty good. You can abbreviate it as "Lady" to make it shorter.

You shove your puns aside for later and try to focus on something more important. For now, you think you're gonna confront your AI about her recent behavior.

[Trixy]: Yes, Wade. Is there anything that you require?

[Wade]: Hey Olumar, come out here for a sec?

You gently rub Olumar's lamp, which is securely placed on your hip. In a puff of blue smoke, she pops her head out while yawning.

[Olumar]: Hmm? What is it this time?

[Wade]: I need your help with something. It's always good to have a 3rd party in an intervention. Y'know, just so things don't get out of hand.

[Olumar]: Ah...yes. I am quite familiar with this “interventing”. I was quite well known for it in my realm.

[Wade]: Uh-huh…

She has no idea what's going on. But it's not like she's unintelligent either. She should catch on soon enough.

[Wade]: So Trixy, I want you to vent your emotions to me and Olumar. Just let out whatever you've been bottling up in there.

[Trixy]: Are you quite sure? It is not my place to speak against you.

[Olumar]: Our Master is a generous one, sister. Speak freely while he still allows you to.

Trixy pauses for a moment, carefully considering her next words.

[Trixy]: Very well then. There is a matter I have been quite curious about for some time now.

[Wade]: Lay it on me.

[Trixy]: Why is it that you continue to associate with untrustworthy individuals? To consider a war criminal your ally seems incomprehensible to me. She is now in possession of your DNA, along with that of your twin sister's. And let's not forget the Amalgamatrix and the heavily concentrated Amalgamite block stored inside of it. It is hard for me to believe that she is simply acting in your best interest. The same goes for your cloned twin. Making yourself vulnerable in that temple was very ill-advised. Due to that miscalculation, this female Ectonurite might have possibly seen your face, which implies further problems in your foreseeable future. And then there's the creature known as "Olumar".

[Olumar]: Hey!

[Trixy]: She is a magical creature. An unidentifiable entity. A wildcard that cannot be accounted for in case something goes wrong. Her intentions, identity and species is completely unknown to us, yet you were more than willing to trust her completely. These are unnecessary risks.

Wow...

[Wade]: People can change, Trixy. They might not be completely good, but there's still good in them.

[Trixy]: That is an assumption, Wade.

[Wade]: Well, you're making assumptions too. We have to hope that the bad guys won't stay bad guys forever, or else there's no point in beating them up and putting them in prison.

[Trixy]: Separation from the general populace is necessary for dangerous individuals.

[Wade]: You're not wrong, but we have to give them a chance to change, too. They deserve that opportunity.

[Trixy]: I...suppose I can see the sense in that.

[Wade]: Look, I know things have been weird lately, but we'll never find Azmuth unless we get help. And sometimes that help comes from morally ambiguous people. It's a risk, sure, but it's a calculated risk.

[Trixy]: We have been making great progress in the search for Azmuth, but that was due to our combined efforts.

[Wade]: Hey, don't forget about Coyote. He left that map for us to find. We owe part of our success to him. That's a calculated risk repaying us in kind for reforming him.

[Trixy]: I do believe I see what you mean. I must assess these individuals using different criteria. All calculations have a small chance of...being wrong.

You look down to Olumar, hoping that she'll say something worthwhile.

[Olumar]: I know you don't trust me, but you're both strangers to me as well. You weren't the only one taking a risk in that cave. Ever since my imprisonment, I've encountered nothing but selfish people on Aggra Taj. Meeting the two of you is a...welcome change of pace.

Not bad for a lamp-dwelling giant. Not bad at all.

[Trixy]: I will reflect upon what I have learned today. Thank you. Both of you.

[Wade]: No problem. Thanks for worrying about me, Trixy.

[Trixy]: Of course. It is my main function.

It's actually a bit adorable how overprotective your AI is. She'll probably speak her mind more often now.

Just then, the entire ship shakes violently! You nearly fall to the ground, but Trixy helps to stabilize you with the suit's hydraulics.

[Wade]: What was that?!

Iden's face pops up on a large digital screen in front of you.

[Iden]: It looks like we've got company.

[Wade]: Plumbers?

[Iden]: No. Even worse...

She projects an image of what looks to be three aliens wearing gold and white costumes. You recognize one as a Tetramand, but the others are new to you. One is a floating squid with an enlarged brain, while the other is a grey skinned creature with a human physique. Are they supposed to be superheroes or something?

[Wade]: Who are these guys?

[Iden]: They call themselves The Galactic Enforcers. They're a group of vigilantes that dispense their own personal brand of justice on the galaxy. Sound familiar?

[Wade]: I didn't know there were alien superheroes out there. That's actually pretty cool. I wonder if there are any others.

[Iden]: Yeah well, it won't be cool when they arrest us for violating Galactic Law.

[Wade]: Can't we just pretend we're not home or something?

You try to joke with Iden, but she doesn't seem to be in the joking mood.

[Iden]: Oh sure, then they can search the ship and tow us off to the nearest Repo Dock.

[Wade]: How'd they find us, anyway? Isn't this ship supposed to be cloaked?

[Iden]: We can cloak this ship and hide our heat signatures, but we can't hide from psychic scans. I'm betting that creature with the exposed brain is a telepath. He must've sensed us in here.

That telepath's gonna be a problem. He might even be able to read your mind and discover your secret identity...

[Wade]: Why don't we try firing an empty escape pod to distract them?

[Iden]: That won't work as a permanent solution. The telepath might be able to sense that the escape pod is empty.

[Wade]: But they might split up to investigate it. That could buy us some time.

Iden carefully considers your suggestion, before sighing deeply and pressing several buttons on her command console. You feel the entire ship shake as an escape pod ejects itself into the depths of space. The grey skinned alien flies after it with surprising speed, while the other two attempt to enter the ship.

[Iden]: What do you propose we do now?

Thriller wale, tell them you are a scientist working for a tech company (ask Iden to seek for a name and fake credentials), and tell them there are fragile researches and equipment inside and they'll be sued if they attemp to break into the ship. If things go wrong sing until they fall asleep.

As an addition to my previous post, we can avoid questions by playing the hyper stressed corporate agent: when they ask for a detailed list of our experiments and activity we start whining about how they just throwed us deeper into bureocratic hell, how a plumber have alredy asking us about some incident in the plumbers headquarters (give Koba a cover and this guys someone they can trust backing us), complain about your boss, say your mother was right about you, make them feel so uncomfortable they just leave.

You might be able to get out of this situation without resorting to violence.

[Wade]: Hey Iden, can you pull up some fake credentials for a “Dr. Bloator”?

[Iden]: Yeah that shouldn't be too hard. What are you planning?

[Wade]: We're gonna bluff our asses off!

You smirk as you reach down to your belt and select Thriller Whale. It's a bit awkward to slap the Omnitrix core on your waist, but you'll just have to get used to it. In a bright purple flash, your skin becomes blue and rubbery, you shrink down a few feet, and your head grows considerably.

You've become THRILLER WHALE!

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, is there any way to hide the Omnitrix symbol on my head? I feel like these guys might notice it.

[Trixy]: Of course. Activating Life-form lock.

You hear a sharp whistling sound that fades away fairly quickly. When you reach up to feel the Omnitrix, you notice that it's completely gone! Damn that's cool!

[Wade]: Nice. Now I just need a lab coat and those fake credentials.

[Iden]: Everything's ready on my end. Come get them from my lab.

You run on over to Iden's lab and throw on a lab coat while snagging the fake creds that she made for you. You both receive an alert that notifies you of intruders entering the ship a moment later.

[Wade]: Alright. It's Show Time…

You intercept the troublesome trio as they're inspecting the ship, looking for signs of life. The Tetramand readies herself for combat, but the other two look fairly calm.

[Wade]: What in the blazes do you all think you're doing?! This equipment is very fragile. You'll ruin my life's work!

[Ultimos]: Calm down, fair citizen. Tell us what ails you.

The grey guy actually talks as if he were a golden age superhero. You're not sure why, but you kinda like it.

[Wade]: Oh, I'll tell you what ails me! Dalek Corp is breathing down my neck! Forcing me to mass produce trillions upon trillions of microbes, capable of latching on to particles in the air, and transforming them into edible chunks of food particles. It's very similar to filter feeding, and could possibly solve Galactic Hunger. But they're too fragile and volatile in their current state. Your very presence here is ruining my research!

[Tini]: Look pal, we didn't mean to-

The Tetramand starts speaking, but you're too immersed in your role to let her get a turn.

[Wade]: Please stop! Every breath you take is killing billions of my precious microbes! You've already set me back by several weeks! I've already answered the questions of a nosy Plumber not too long ago.

They all look to each other in confusion, before the brain squid speaks up on their behalf.

[Synaptak]: A Plumber was present here? Did he reveal who he was at any point?

[Tini]: And while you're at it, tell us your name.

[Wade]: Forgive me for my rude behavior. My name is Dr. Elysius Bloator. And I believe the Plumber went by the name of “Koba”.

You flash your credentials at them and put it back in your pocket just as quickly.

(Cont.)
>>
[Ultimos]: I see. We must've missed his report.

[Synaptak]: I wouldn't be surprised if he simply forgot to file it. The attack on Plumber HQ must've distracted him.

[Wade]: That must be why he left in such a hurry. His loyalty and devotion to his profession reminded me a bit of myself when I was younger…

You pause for dramatic effect, hoping that they just take a hint and try to leave.

[Ultimos]: Still, were going to have to search this ship and report it as an unregistered vessel.

[Tini]: Not to mention that you're in a restricted area. Who parks in the middle of an asteroid field anyway?

They're not taking the hint. Time to make them uncomfortable…

[Wade]: The only reason this vessel is unregistered is because I built it myself! I didn't have the Taydens to purchase it, but through hard work and several years of scrap gathering, I finally completed it. It was necessary that I have transportation to take on the Dalek Corp project.

[Ultimos]: That may be so, but-

[Wade]: Please, don't take away my ship! You'll ruin me! I'll lose my funding, and I'll have to return home to Mother. Gods I can hear her taunting me even now. Calling me a failure as a son and as a Belugian. And she's right! I've accomplished nothing of significance on my Pilgrimage. I'll never be allowed to return home now....

You begin to shed crocodile tears, weeping uncontrollably. The enforcers look incredibly uncomfortable right now, but they can't ignore a sad and pathetic man sobbing like a baby.

[Synaptak]: Ultimos… shouldn't we get back to patrolling the sector?

[Tini]: Yeah...I don't think there's anything bad going on here…

Ultimos finally gets a clue and understands why they want to leave.

[Ultimos]: Yes, I suppose you're right...

He kneels down and places a hand on your shoulder, flashing a warm smile at you.

[Ultimos]: Chin up, Dr. Bloator. We were just passing through. You can return to your research, and we'll allow you to keep the vessel. But you must relocate to a safer part of the galaxy. Deal?

You wipe your nose and extend a hand to him.

[Wade]: Deal.

Ultimos shakes it without hesitation and rises to meet his companions.

[Ultimos]: Galactic Enforcers, our work here is done!

[Tini]: Thank the stars…

You watch them as they fly away from the ship without even looking back. Well that went nicely…

[Myaxx]: Good work, kid. Didn't think you had it in you.

>"Thanks. All that time in my middle school Drama club must've paid off."

[Wade]: We should give Koba a heads up and tell him what happened. And it'd probably be a good idea to relocate to another sector sometime soon. That was exhausting, and I don't want to do it again.

[Myaxx]: Agreed. I'll try to get in touch with him.

[Iden]: And I will chart a course for a more secure and isolated sector.

While Myaxx fiddles with her communicator and Iden closes her virtual screen, Trixy chirps to life and interrupts your conversation.

[Trixy]: Wade, I have successfully deciphered the map that was left in Coyote's prison cell. The planet that we are searching for will be in the Schedar Sector in exactly 3 days. It will take roughly 36 hours to travel there from our current location.

[Wade]: That's much sooner than I would have liked. Wouldn't the planet just jump away once we got too close?

[Trixy]: It appears to jump away at set intervals, and the map indicates that the planet will be resting in one location for a 24 hour period before it jumps away again. This may be our only opportunity to find Azmuth.

[Myaxx]: What?! You've found Azmuth?

[Wade]: Maybe. We aren't completely sure yet, but this is the best lead that we've got.

Olumar pops her head out and butts into the conversation.

[Olumar]: We should probably take the rest of this time to prepare for our departure. Or at least tying up any loose ends that have been left unattended.

[Trixy]: Be warned, Azmuth's genetic signature will be visible to all those who are searching for him. We will most likely be met with much opposition.

[Myaxx]: Well, I say it's worth the risk.

You consider getting help from the Plumbers, or possibly even the vigilantes of Earth. And for a brief moment, you actually consider waking your sister up to help you fight, but you aren't so cruel as to involve her or any other innocents in this.

You're keeping this in the family, and you'll accept help from however many of your friends will be willing to join you.

[Wade]: Hey Trixy, I need you to send a message to my friends and family.

[Trixy]: Very well. I shall start recording.

You take a deep breath and a moment to gather your thoughts. This speech has to properly rally and encourage them to help you.

[Wade]: Hey guys, Wade here. I know you haven't seen or heard from me in a while, but I've been a bit busy up here in space. Recently, I got a bead on Azmuth, and we think he might be on a planet that hops around the galaxy. This is our only chance to get to him before anyone else does, and we can't let that slide. We'll be facing whole entire armies, maybe even several...

You start to trail off a bit, grasping the severity of the situation. The whole galaxy might be against you on this mission, but that doesn't mean you can just sit back and allow it to fall apart. You have to win this fight.

[Wade]: But that shouldn't discourage you. Any of you. I've witnessed us accomplishing things that we never thought possible before this summer began. We've taken down Aliens, Robots, Witches, Mummies, Werewolves, Kaiju, Magical Creatures, Corporate Greed and everything in between! If we work together, we can do anything! I know we can.

Time to end a strong note.

[Wade]: So please, as crazy as this sounds, help me save the universe. Because we might be the only ones who can. Anyone that wants to join up, meet me and my family in Bellwood's Central Square. End transmission.

[Trixy]: The transmission has been sent. What is our next course of action?

[Myaxx]: I managed to reach Koba. He said that he'd be pretty tied up over at HQ. They're starting to watch his movements and listen in on his transmissions. He regrets to inform you that he won't be able to help you out on this one.

Damn. It's a shame that he won;t be able to help you, but he's done so much for you over these last few weeks. Koba's got nothing to be ashamed of.

[Myaxx]: But he was able to provide clearance codes that'll make it easier for us to get around. We should be able to to make it to Earth and the Schedar sector without running into law enforcement.

Damn! Even when he says he can't help you, he finds a way to help out anyways. What a guy!

[Wade]: I guess we're going to Earth.

[Iden]: Plotting a course now.

Slate runs up to you and snags Olumar out of your belt, shaking her from side to side.

[Wade]: Looks like someone's excited to go back home.

[Olumar]: Get this mangy mongrel off of me!

The ride home is a noisy one for sure. You can't help but wonder who will respond to your call.

(Continued in Next Post)
>>
On the way home, you call up the Saturdays and ask a favor of them. Hopefully they'll be able to deliver.

You get pretty emotional when you catch that first glimpse of the big blue planet that you call "Home". It's been far too long since you've been back.

[Iden]: Beginning re-entry.

The re-entry and landing are a bit rough, but your suit keeps you stable the whole time. Once Iden flies over to the Central Square, you realize just how crowded this area is getting. Must be because your friends are here.

[Myaxx]: We can't land here, so do you mind jumping out for a bit?

Myaxx shoots you a sly grin, and you pick up on her hints pretty quickly. It's time...

[Wade]: With pleasure.

You cross your arms together, signalling Trixy to initiate your suit's arming process. In mere moments, your skin is covered in durable, metal plates that fit snugly to your clothes. The last to be equipped is your mask, which you're not sure if you'll ever get used to. Having so many moving parts near your face makes you a bit nervous, but you trust Trixy not to screw it up. Once you're HUD pops up, you know that you're ready to roll.

[Wade]: Hello Bellwood!

You jump from the landing platform, falling towards the ground at great speeds. Your thrusters kick in as you near the ground, slowing your descent and stabilizing your body. You see a crowd of people swarming around the area to see who you are, and it makes you a bit smug just thinking of the adoring fans that might be waiting for you. Once you're low eneough, you shut off your thrusters and prepare to land. Now this part...it has to be perfect. The trademark of any hero!

Your fist slams into the pavement, cracking it and sending rubble flying outward. Your feet touch the ground immediately afterward, causing you to strike a dramatic pose. Everyone around you is speechless...

>Congratulations, you've accomplished THE HERO LANDING!

The citizens are all over you as they praise your epic entrance. You can see your friends and family behind them too. They seem to be just as surprised as everyone else. Guess they weren't expecting your drastic wardrobe change.

You see Olivia, Phil, Kirby, K8-E Kevin, Julie, Alan, Carol, and even The Saturdays!

>"Hey guys. Miss me?"

Without warning, you run up to your friends and pull them all into a big hug. You're careful to not crush them with your newfound augmented strength, but you're pretty sure Trixy won't allow you to hurt anyone that you don't want to. You feel the others return your warm hug, though you can't really feel any warmth or skin contact through the suit.

[Phil]: Wade? Is that you?

[Wade]: The one and only. It's good to see that Bellwood's still standing.

You think about unmasking in front of them, only to remember that there's a crowd of strangers surrounding you. You should take this conversation to a more private location. On the way, you recap your recent adventures to those who were interested.

---------------------------

Once you and the others relocate to a secluded warehouse, you unmask in front of them. Everyone here pretty much knows your secret identity anyways.

[Wade]: First of all, thanks for answering the call. I really appreciate it.

[Olivia]: All you had to do was ask. We've always got your back, cuz.

Olivia looks different. More...confident somehow. Gwen sits beside Olivia, keeping a close eye on the Saturdays for some reason.

[Kevin]: It's the least I could do after you saved me and got me back to Bellwood.

[K8-E]: I too have much to repay you for, Wade.

There's a strange look in her eye that gets you a bit excited. You should probably talk to K8-E in private afterwards.

[Julie]: I can't believe you asked me to help you save the Universe. I'm still struggling to make it to Prelims in my Summer Tournament.

[Carol]: Oh, shut up. You're way better than those country club snobs.

It seems that Carol and Julie have gotten much closer since you've been gone. On the other hand, Alan doesn't say much, but it looks like he's got a costume of his own now. You wonder what he's been up to.

[Doc]: We got the minerals you asked for.

Doc Saturday hands you a capsule, containing both Element X and Bicenthium Alloy.

[Drew]: What was it that you needed them for again? We ran a few tests and well...those combined elements could potentially cause an incredibly violent chain reaction that-

[Zak]: Mom's trying to say that it'll make a huge bomb if the two ever come into contact.

Everyone gives each other concerned looks after Zak mentions the bomb.

[Wade]: I know, and I won't let that happen.

[Doc]: I sure do hope so, because we won't be joining you on your space mission.

Drew's facial expression doesn't change, while Zak looks to be rather upset about the decision.

[Doc]: I'm sorry, but I can't risk their lives in a mission that dangerous. We deal with cryptids, not alien warlords. We're a bit out of our depth on this one.

>"If we can't stop this guy, then he'll be Earth's problem sooner or later. This is our chance to get in front of the issue."

You would've been stupid to expect everyone to agree to this. And you can't fault man for wanting to protect his family.

[Wade]: I understand, I won't ask you to do anything you don't want to do. Thanks for the materials and your support.

The Saturdays seem to be relieved by your calm and understanding response.

[Doc]: Thank you. And good luck on your mission.

You shake Doc's hand and deliver a fist bump to Zak before they depart on their airship.

[Wade]: If anyone wants to back out, now's your chance.

Not a single person steps forward.

[Kirby]: We'll be with you every step of the way, kid.

You flash a reassuring smile before pressing a button on your suit, signaling Iden to pick you up. You just wish you could have recorded their reaction when they witnessed her massive ship breaking through the cloud-line.

Upon boarding, you see Phil giving Iden a grim look, but she doesn't seem to harbor any animosity towards him. The others seem to pre-occupied with exploring the ship and talking with Myaxx. You swear you thought Grandpa Phil's eyes were gonna pop right out of his skull when he saw her.

[Olivia]: This place is huge! I bet you don't even have to pay rent on this thing.

[Kevin]: Yeah, but insurance costs have been through the roof since the war started.

[Gwen]: Considering we're dealing with a war criminal, I don't think she's worried about paying insurance.

The three of your buddies seem to have found a quiet little corner to hang out in. You look over to see Alan, Carol and Julie chatting with Myaxx. They seem to be rather excited about meeting an alien of her stature. You wonder if Myaxx has the patience for entertaining teenagers.

Phil and Kirby look like they're conversing with Iden, most likely about her involvement in your life. That might get messy.

You notice that K8-E is separated from the others, and she appears to be beckoning for you to come over. This out to be good...

You walk over to K8-E and tell her to meet you in your room later. You've gotta straighten things out with Iden and the others.

[Phil]: I don't know what you think you're doing, but you leave my grandson out of it.

[Iden]: In all fairness, you stole him from me first.

[Kirby]: That doesn't mean you own him.

[Wade]: Guys…

Everyone stops and turns to you as you approach the volatile situation.

[Phil]: Why didn't you tell me that you were working with this monster?

[Wade]: I'm sorry. I know I should have, but it kinda slipped my mind since a lot of things were happening at once.

[Kirby]: That's a pretty big thing to forget.

[Wade]: I know what you're all thinking, but she's really not so bad once you get to know her.

Grandpa looks at you as if you were crazy. This is gonna be a tough issue to fix.

[Phil]: Are you out of your mind, son? This woman wanted to turn you into a weapon. She doesn't care about you or anyone else. The only reason she's helping you, is because she's trying to save herself. She knows that D'Traxus wants her dead, and she's using you to get rid of him. What if she tries to stab you in the back once this is all over?

[Kirby]: I kinda agree with Phil here. She doesn't strike me as the type to change her nature.

You all turn to Iden, as she's been surprisingly quiet this entire time.

[Iden]: I will admit, most of what they said is true. I love you because I made you from my own hands, and I am using your specific set of skills to eliminate D'Traxus.

[Phil]: See?!

[Iden]: But, I informed you of my intentions a not too long ago. All I want is to see my creation succeed where no one else has. Seeing you grow over these past few weeks has been an incredibly enlightening experience, and I would not trade that away for the galaxy.

Phil and Kirby seem confused by her strangely selfish inclinations. But they're not selfish in a bad way. At the end of the day, your alien scientist mom is just plain weird.

[Phil]: Look, I'm sorry about blowing up at you. You did your time, and I'm sure you've learned from your mistakes.

[Iden]: I've made no mistakes. Your grandson and D'Traxus are perfect as they are. I saw to that personally.

She forgot about Wendy...

[Phil]: You literally made a killing machine that you can’t even control. How does that help anybody?

[Iden]: If it weren’t for that "killing machine", your grandson wouldn’t even exist. Ever think about that?

Phil starts stammering uncontrollably out of sheer frustration, while Kirby tries his best to calm him and mediate. You should probably leave these guys alone for a while. It’s time for you to go see K8-E for some long overdue “alone time”.

You enter your room to see that K8-E has already found out how to open the blinds. She stares out into the void of hyperspace as her tail sways from side to side. The expanse of the wormhole you're traveling through illuminates the room in a bluish white light. The way the light dances off of her dark, plated armor is simply mesmerizing.

[K8-E]: It's been so long since I've traveled through space. I'd nearly forgotten how beautiful it was.

>"You're the most beautiful thing in my eyes."
>"Sorry for leaving for so long. I've missed you."
>"How's your family?"

You can't resist the urge to say something corny to rile her up.

[Wade]: You're the most beautiful thing in my eyes.

Her cheeks become flush as they turn a darker shade a blue. You actually managed to embarrass her with that.

[K8-E]: Oh, you're the worst!

Despite her seemingly harsh words, she playfully slaps you on the rear with a powerful flick of her tail. It's actually incredible that you felt that through your suit. Oh right, your suit! You almost forgot to power down.

With a mental command, you close your eyes and allow your armor to recede into your belt. K8-E seems amazed by the whole process.

[K8-E]: That was amazing...

[Wade]: You're the most amazing-

[K8-E]: Ok, that's enough flattery!

She playfully shoves your shoulder and moves closer to embrace you in a tight hug.

[Wade]: Sorry for leaving for so long. I've missed you.

You feel her claws dig into your back a bit as her embrace tightens.

[K8-E]: I too have been longing to see you again. You look...more handsome than usual.

[Wade]: Must be the suit. Women love a man in uniform.

She giggles joyously and you feel her chest moving as she laughs. After a moment of silent appreciation of one another, you decide to break the ice.

[Wade]: How's your family?

She pulls away from you and smiles staring deep into your eyes.

[K8-E]: They are all well. My sisters are watching over ML-E, N8 and E-N. I didn't explain why I was leaving, because I didn't want them to worry for my safety.

[Wade]: What about your sisters? Aren't they worried?

[K8-E]: Worried that their little sister is going off with a strange human to save the universe even though she is but a “Stay at home mom”? Believe me, they're terrified for my safety.

K8-E's doubts are beginning to show through her brave facade.

[Wade]: I just want you to know that I really appreciate what you're doing here. I won't let anything happen to you or anyone else on this mission.

[K8-E]: I know you won't. You have yet to disappoint me or anyone else that you promise to save, and you will not start now.

Her hand gently caresses your cheek, but you can't help but doubt yourself a bit when you compare yourself to her praise. She's wrong about being able to save everyone. You were unable to save Charmcaster, or Rex…or Wendy and Killa-byte...

K8-E notices that your mood has started to change for the worst, and she buries her head in your chest as she pulls you closer.

[K8-E]: I don’t know what's going through your head, but maybe it will be easier if you share it with me? I may not be a therapist, but I am a very good listener…

Something primal comes over you, as you become drawn into her full, dark lips. That single moment feels as if it were stretched out into several minutes, as your lips become locked and your tongue dances alongside hers.

She pulls you to the bed and as you both wrestle with your clothes in order to hastily remove them. At first, K8-E is nervous and accidentally flips her helmet on. But after taking a moment to calm herself down, she reveals her face once more and gazes deeply into your eyes.

[K8-E]: I-I want to see you…

Your heart nearly stops as she removes her skintight suit to reveal her beautiful blue skin.

[K8-E]: And I want you to see me…

You move close and embrace her once more, exploring her body as you revel in pleasure. And the rest is history...

‐-‐----------------------

As you both gaze at the stars from the comfort of your bed, you begin to share your deepest, innermost thoughts with K8-E. Your fears, your doubts and your dreams are all laid bare as you reveal your most vulnerable self to the woman you love. Love turns to laughter, and laughter to mutual understanding. You trace your fingers along the freckles on her smooth skin, as she huddles closer to you in order to be bathed in your warm embrace. This night is truly a magical one, and it will be engraved into your memory for as long as you live.

--‐-------------

When you both awaken from your slumber, you gently kiss each other on the lips and begin laughing. Though you aren't sure why.

[Wade]: Good morning. At least I think it is...

[K8-E]: Let's just pretend it is...

K8-E slides out of the bed to collect her clothes. You enjoy watching the sway of her slender hips as she skates across the room on the pearls on her feet. And when she bends down to pick up her clothes, well...the rest is history...

‐---------------

Once the two of you calm down and get yourselves properly dressed, you head into the main lab to check and see what everyone's up to. Suddenly, a powerful aroma arouses your senses. You've never quite smelled anything like it before. It reminds you of Honey Ham with a hint of...warm butter? Or maybe that's a type of jam.

As you enter the room, you notice a table and various types of alien cuisine laid out before you. Phil looks like a kid in a candy store right now. Your human friends however, are less than thrilled.

[Alan]: You know when I said we should have a feast, this isn't exactly what I meant...

Olivia seems to be muttering something under her breath, while Kevin just examines the food out of sheer curiosity.

[Olivia]: This is where it ends. This is where Grandpa finally kills me with his evil cooking...

Julie and Carol look incredibly disgusted by the sliced worm that wriggles and writhes on their dinner plates.

Iden and Myaxx notice you, and they seem like they're in a good mood today. Well...Iden might be a bit grumpy. It seems the others have yet to notice you.

>"Aw sweet! Alien buffet!"
>"Hey K8-E, see anything you like?"

[Wade]: Aw sweet! Alien buffet!

You can barely contain your excitement as you chose a seat next to K8-E and the rest of your friends.

[Phil]: Wade! Just in time. Grab a plate and help yourself!

You notice that the table you're sitting at is a bunch of operating tables pushed together, the plates are large petri dishes, and your utensils are surgical tools of some sort.

[Wade]: Don't mind if I do.

You stack your plate with anything and everything that piques your interest. From gelatinous cubes, to cakes with a spicy aroma coming from them, you plan to take your taste-buds on a journey into the unknown. Everyone's begun to poke at their food, becoming more and more nervous about the strange texture and appearance of their food. You, K8-E, Phil, Kirby, and Myaxx are the first to dig in being the most adventurous of the bunch. The gelatin has a weird taste to it. Like warm vanilla ice cream mixed with lime. Strange, but not bad at all!

Kevin and Alan are still trying to decide what's safe to eat, while the girls just stare at the plates nervously. Myaxx on the other hand, has more plates than everyone at the table combined! She can really put it away!

[Kirby]: Mm! I haven't had a Protozoan parfait in ages! It's so much better than I remember.

[Phil]: They actually have those in the future you're from?

[Kirby]: Oh yeah, they're everywhere. You can even find some in Undertown these days, I think.

[Iden]: What is this "Undertown"?

[Wade]: It's a city of aliens that leave beneath Bellwood. It's actually pretty cool.

[Iden]: Hmm. So instead of extraterrestrials, they are now intraterrestrials...

Iden laughs at her own joke, and you notice that she hasn't gotten any food for herself.

>Ask Iden why she isn't eating.
>Tell Grandpa about the Rooters you beat up and the corruption case you worked with Kilik.
>Encourage the girls to try their food. They might like it.

You ask K8-E to recommend some food that she finds similar to Earth cuisine. With her guidance, you manage to get the rest of your friends to sample some foreign food from the table. She even recommends some interesting looking sides that you add to your plate.

In the meantime, you recount the tale of your corruption case with Kilik to the rest of the table. Grandpa's eyes go wide as you reach the conclusion and mention “The Rooters” to him.

[Kirby]: Congrats on becoming a Plumber, kid! I'm proud of you.

[Olivia]: I can't believe that you're a part time space cop now! Did you get a squad car too?

[Phil]: They're still alive? That can't be right. I-I watched them die...

Grandpa looks incredibly distraught. Everyone immediately stops their conversations and gives him their full attention.

[Iden]: Or at least you thought you did. This “Servantis” had the ability to manipulate the minds of others, correct? You must have been a victim of his mind control once you had defected from the Plumbers.

It doesn't take long for Phil to catch on. He looks furious!

[Phil]: That son of a bitch messed with my head! I can't believe I didn't see that coming!

[Myaxx]: Be grateful that he didn't do any more than that. He could have erased your knowledge of aliens and Plumbers from your mind, or given you an entirely new identity altogether. Who knows what else he might have done to you…

Myaxx's comments are very unsettling, causing the room to fall silent.

[Olivia]: Can we go back to when you fought a walking mushroom and robot lobster alongside a giant praying mantis? And that genie thing, that can't be-

Olivia's question is ignored amongst the drama. At least she tried to change the subject.

[Phil]: I swear, if I ever get my hands on that-

Phil pauses for a moment and takes a deep breath in order to relax.

[Wade]: You okay, Grandpa?

[Phil]: No. I told you that I was a Plumber, but I never told you what kind of Plumber I was. The truth is…I'm an Ex-Rooter.

Everyone at the dinner table simultaneously gasps in a dramatic fashion.

[Kevin]: So...you were one of the bad guys?

[Phil]: For a while, yeah. The council needed somebody that wasn't afraid to get their hands dirty in order to protect the galaxy. That was us. We rooted out problems before they became problems. That goes for criminals and Plumbers alike. It wasn't until I found Wade that I actually decided to quit. And I've never looked back ever since.

Before you can say anything, Iden interrupts you with the scraping of her scalpel.

[Iden]: Yes yes, this is all very touching. But is there any way we can wrap this up? I have a power source to complete before we arrive at our destination.

[Wade]: I've actually been meaning to ask, but why aren't you eating?

She stretches her hand across the dinner table and tussles you hair vigorously before recalling it back to her.

[Iden]: I'm mostly cybernetic now, so I do not require food or oxygen. Water is acceptable, however.
>>
Iden takes a swig from her glass and sets it back down again.

>”That's kinda sad actually.”
>”You never miss eating? That's like one of the biggest joys of being alive.”

>”You never miss eating?
>”So you're like some super scientist cyborg?”

[Wade]: You never miss eating? That's like one of the biggest joys of being alive. All of the different flavors of sweet, salty and savory foods mingling with each other. You can create new and interesting flavors just by cooking something in a different way.

[Myaxx]: I've tried to convince her to eat more often, but she simply refuses to. Says that it" wastes too much of her valuable time".

[Wade]: Well...what if you made artificial taste-buds for yourself? Y'know, in case you ever feel like eating again. That is a thing right?

[Iden]: Well...it's not impossible. It would require quite a bit of time to perfect though. Perhaps once I've finished my current projects, I'll look into it.

Myaxx appears glad that you've piqued her interest in the form of a scientific experiment.

[Wade]: And while we're on the topic, why'd you modify yourself so much?

[Iden]: Well...why not?

Iden takes another swig of her drink and places it back on the table. This lady is seriously unhinged...

Once that's out of the way, you place Olumar's lamp on the table and rub it gently until she rises in a plume of blue smoke. Since she's well rested, she's much bigger than she was before, towering over everyone at the table. As she yawns, her sharp canines are visible to you and all else who witness her awakening from her slumber. Everyone moves back a bit in surprise, their mouths hanging wide open.

[Wade]: Guys, meet Olumar.

[Olumar]: What is this now? A feast? What are we celebrating, master?

[Julie]: Master?

You laugh nervously and clear your throat loudly.

[Wade]: I...didn't tell her to call me that. It's just a title that she gives to anyone that carries her lamp long enough.

[Olivia]: Does she grant wishes too?!

You look up at her, curious as to what her response will be.

[Olumar]: Well, no...

[Carol]: Can you battle gods or other powerful creatures?

[Olumar]: At full power I might have been able to, but since I am sealed into this lamp...

Olumar is starting to look pretty nervous. You've never seen her look this vulnerable. Must be because she's falling below the expectations that others have for her kind.

[Alan]: How'd you get trapped in the lamp, anyway?

Olumar gives Alan a relieved glance, as if his question had saved her from losing face.

[Olumar]: King Solomon sealed me into it. After being given his ring, he went mad with power and sealed away any demon he could find. Most of my power was stripped from me and absorbed into his ring. That war was a bloody one. No one thought that one man could subdue that many demons.

>"Were you sealed away for doing something bad?"

[Wade]: Were you sealed away for doing something bad?

[Olumar]: The answer to that depends heavily on Solomon's definition of "Evil". To him, every demon was evil. I was but a goddess of festivities and luck. A good time was all I ever chased after, and sometimes that involved a bit of Bloodsport.

She receives fearful glances from your friends and family.

[Olumar]: Oh please, I'm not going to eat you or make you fight to the death. I'm quite tame for someone of my kind. Several hundred years trapped in a lamp tends to either mellow you out, or drive you insane.

[Wade]: Are there a lot of you guys scattered around the galaxy?

[Olumar]: Yes, we were large in number before Solomon and his people began their siege. There could be thousands of us trapped in silly little trinkets, just waiting to be let out by some fresh faced fool. No offense.

[Kevin]: But that shouldn't be possible. How'd this Solomon guy even manage to travel past Earth?

[Olumar]: I never said he was from Earth, boy. He hails from Ledgerdomain, the realm of magic.

You remember Mother talking about that place before she disappeared. You wonder what life must be like in a realm that's teeming with magic. Kirby seems quite interested in this revelation as well.

[Wade]: Can you tell us more about this Solomon?

Olumar scowls for a moment, but fixes her expression into a respectful and dignified one.

[Olumar]: Solomon was a great and mighty wizard that dared to venture past the realm of magic, and into the realm of man. There, he found the remnants of a lost realm. The roaches that were dwelling on the underbelly of monsters foul and cruel. And those roaches were us, the Jinn. Our masters, "The Old Ones" had passed, their history killed by the Contemelia and replaced by a fresh one. Your universe is built upon the remains of beings that are beyond your imagination. And we were your new neighbors. Our people had grown tired of being enslaved, so they attempted to enslave the creatures that now inhabited this new realm. It was then that we became the very things that we once feared and hated. We exchanged titles and created ranks among ourselves, as we found new and interesting ways to make the mortals worship us. We became their deities, and they loved us for the blessings that we brought. Solomon did not take too kindly to the abuse of our newfound power over your kind, and he tried to retaliate against us with all his might.

You are completely dumbfounded by this new information about your Universe's history. How come she never told you about any of this?

[Olivia]: And then what happened?
>>
[Olumar]: He lost. He was mighty, but not mighty enough to fell my brethren on his own. For that, he needed help. He requested that a mighty God forge a ring for him, capable of sealing the power of magical beings and subjugating them. With this new weapon, he proceeded to cleanse the galaxy of my kind and seal them within trinkets and other odd objects that he could find. The next blow that was dealt to the Jinn was a fatal one. Most of us were crushed underfoot and utterly destroyed.

[Wade]: Man, that ring sounds like it could cause some serious problems if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

Olumar gives you a look of pure rage and contempt. This story must be getting her pretty emotional.

[Olumar]: It is already in the wrong hands. Solomon disappeared once he was certain that my people had been eradicated, and no one has seen him since. I do hope he perished in a painful and excruciating way.

The room falls silent as Olumar broods over her people's history.

[Olumar]: Enjoy your meal, master. I do hope that I have not spoiled it with my dreadful stories.

Olumar flashes a flimsy smile and recedes back into her lamp without another word. The rest of the night is relatively silent and uneventful. It was still nice to eat with everyone again, though. You return to your room with K8-E and try to get some rest before the big day. Her warm embrace allows you to calm down a bit, and the both of you fall asleep in each other's arms.

--------------------------

Once you awaken, K8-E has already left the bed. You see her preparing some Kineceleran armor that she brought with her in order to avoid being easily injured. It's a white, skin-tight suit with some sort of reactive polymer weave threaded into it. Or so she says.

[K8-E]: I apologize if I woke you.

[Wade]: Nah, it's fine. We need to get ready soon anyway.

You receive a message on your Omnitrix that alerts you of an incoming message. It's from Iden.

[Iden]: Wade, I have the power source ready here in my lab. Please hurry so that I might equip it to your suit.

[Wade]: Got it.

You hang up, give a kiss to K8-E and rush on over to Iden's lab with your suit equipped.

[Iden]: You're here. Good. Come here so that I may make the needed adjustments.

You walk over to her and spread your arms, while she opens your belt and removes the Techadon cube.

[Iden]: I'll leave a bit of it inside of your suit, just to provide a method of repairing and reproducing material. Now for the insertion...

She grabs a cube that's filled with some sort of white, pulsating energy, and places it into your belt. A wave of heat washes over your body and fills the suit, causing you to stagger backward for a moment.

[Iden]: The two conflicting elements are exploding at an incredibly slow speed. Their fusion creates a massive energy output, capable of powering Assault cruisers. I've made sure that it does not produce too much, as that will overload your suit's capacitors and most likely cause it to explode.
>>
[Wade]: What?!

[Iden]: I said most likely. You should be fine.

Myaxx interrupts your conversation by opening up a comm channel with Iden.

[Myaxx]: We will arrive at our destination shortly. ETA 2 hours.

[Iden]: Wonderful. Thank you, Myaxx.

You can swear that you see Myaxx's cheeks turning red when she's praised by Iden.

[Myaxx]: Anything for you doc-

She's cut off by a powerful shockwave that rocks the entire ship.

[Wade]: What was that?

[Myaxx]: I don't know. Something's happening! The planet's arriving ahead of schedule!

[Trixy]: That...that cannot be. I checked those coordinates several thousand times before I presented my evidence. This must be a mistake...

It's rare for Trixy to make such a big mistake. Something else must be going on.

[Myaxx]: Well I'm looking right at it, sister!

[Phil]: What's happening!

Your friends and family have come running out to check on the situation. And they're already suited up for combat. Looks like you were the last to wake up.

You and the others run to the window to see an entire planet appear out of thin air. And with it's arrival, a much more powerful shockwave is released around it.

[Wade]: Can we get outrun it?

[Kirby]: Not a chance. We're already too close. That thing will destroy us!

You witness the shockwave crushing clusters of asteroids as it proceeds towards you. There has to be something you can do!

[Myaxx]: Brace for impact!

Everyone shields their eyes and prepares for the worst.

You have to find a way to protect everyone! Maybe you can form a barrier around the ship using your shield generator and mana.

[Wade]: Kirby, Olivia, Gwen! Help me out here!

They firmly nod and lend their energy to you as you form a powerful barrier that encases the entire ship. The shield generator won't do much, but it should strengthen it a bit-

A sharp pain shoots through your body and causes you to fall to one knee.

[Kirby]: Wade? What's up?

You don't know why, but it feels like the mana within you is somehow rejecting your body. What's going on?

[Wade]: Nothing, I'm fine...

The vibrations from the oncoming shockwave cause the ship to shake violently, making it hard for you to stand up again. You have to do this! You can't afford to-
