Before doing anything else you made your way towards your friends. At first they were on the defensive but you quickly manage to prove that you were yourself and not the berserker monstrosity that they were previously dealing with. Once you came to terms with what you done with a deep apology you begin healing your friends. Your chakra was naturally being used as fuel for this transformed state. So you had to use the chakra acquired from the invading ninjas you fought in your blood rage. Luckily the process went smoothly as all your friends are fully healed but still exhausted.

Invoking the powers of Kanchikata (Sensory Mode) you naturally found where Sasuke, Naruto and Gaara were fighting. It seems like they were on their last legs as the entity known as Shukaku has mostly disappeared from the battlefield. At first you were planning on heading off to assist despite the dangers of being around Shukaku while like this. However, your acute sensory capabilities alerted you of what was happening throughout the battlefield. Visions of your teachers and fellow comrades fighting against the invasion in vivid detail flowed into your mind. You almost staggered back from the sensory overload of seeing so many things at once. But what truly catch your attention was one fight in particular. The fight of Orochimaru and Lord Hiruzen.

Naturally you felt the need to help Hiruzen but there was also the fact that you believed that he can do the same for you. On your own it was possible to fully suppressed the influence of Meiinfūinka (Netherworld Seal Transformation). However, it was taking a lot longer to revert yourself back to your natural form. Almost having you wonder if this was going to be permanent. In spite of this you remained to keep calm and composed. It was your unrelenting rage that gave the final nail on the coffin to triggering the mutated metamorphosis. So losing your cool would only worsen the unstable state you’re currently in. Not that it would’ve stopped the old you from panicking and diving into anxiety. After your rekindlement with Inner Sakura a newfound sense of stability and reassurance flooded your mind. Deep down you knew that you needed help in dealing with this and the only person that was closest to you was Lord Hiruzen.

Utilizing your tremendous leg muscles you crouched down on the ground before taking off with the sound barrier shattering soon after. Your friends would only have enough time to hear you say “I’m sorry” as you vanish from sight. Giving your leg strength combined with your enhanced air current senses, you were able to actually run on the dense air pressure you was creating. The only other time where you were capable of moving at supersonic speeds was under Shinsei Mahachisu: Mankai. While not as fast as Mankai you certainly held far more control and fluidity of your motions. Allowing you to achieve a consistent slipstream from constantly breaking the sound barrier with each step you took.

With your newfound mobility it didn’t take you long to cross halfway through the forest and through the village. Following the chakra signature of Lord Hiruzen led you precisely towards one of the castle style buildings. This was close to Kikyou’s castle as you kept that in mind. But as you get closer and closer to the destination point you would feel that Lord Hiruzen’s chakra was getting dimmer and dimmer. In response you exerted more force in your kicks to reach maximum speeds. Upon reaching your destination you were met with quite the unfortunate sight. There was a massive purple barrier that kept you from interacting from what was inside. Most of it was covered in darkness so you couldn’t see what was happening. However, an unusual entity appeared directly in front of you.

In front of you was a truly massive sized entity that has to be the textbook definition of otherworldly. A translucent, giant spectre with shaggy white hair, purple skin, two red horns, and blackened sclera to fit its demonic visage. Draped in a large white kimono, it manages to give off a regal vibe despite it scrawny appearance. A complete contrast compared to your savage bruteness. To its side it carried a white tanto, with ts sword arm covered in what appears to be tattoos. Upon closer inspection those markings were actually that of a juinjutsu (Curse Seal) as it resembled the same kind as Shukaku’s only that it was pitch black rather the dark blue shade. As you continue to observe it, distracted by its appearance to notice anything else it’s golden eyes glances towards you.

“So you can see me after all? How peculiar but not unwelcome~” The shinigami spoke, grinning it’s sharp, jagged black teeth at you. From its mouth held a serpentine tongue as you felt a familiar shiver down your spine. Unlike with Orochimaru, this being was death incarnate as you felt the creature’s very presence. It honestly left you speechless like a deer in headlights.

The mysterious entity continued to look at you as it begins to finished extracting the souls it collected through the use of it’s tanto. With its job complete the physical form of the entity started to fade. “We’ll meet again...child who’s chakra carries her’s scent.”

Before you could question him on those words you would see the shinigami passing through you. On instinct you tried to protect yourself as it phases through your body. It didn’t hurt but you felt quite a bone chilling presence travel through your entire core. Orochimaru couldn’t compare with this spectre. Heck it made Ami’s summoning Kerberous look like a mere kitten compared to this under-worldly entity. Snapping out of your daze you would noticed that you were back in your regular form. For some strange reason you were no longer transformed in the hulking red juggernaut. Although you did feel exceptional physical strain on your body. Most likely a side effect from that unusual transformation.

There was no time to question what you saw or how you returned to normal. In your sights you see Lord Hiruzen currently lying on the ground lifeless while Orochimaru was in intense pain and fury. His arms were colored in a purple state as they were dropping in a similar lifeness state. Judging from the scars and ruined building there was a serious battle with several large trees still lingering on the rooftop. Around the battlefield lies a disturbing sight, surrounded by a large pile of shredded paper lies the bodies of Yoroi Akado and Misumi Tusurugi. From a simple glance you can already tell that they were lifeless and motionless. You didn’t know the cause but it was clear that the two members of Karin’s team and Kabuku’s students were dead.

On one hand you felt the urge to puke at the lifeness sight but your attention quickly went back to Orochimaru. He was left to glare intensely at the defeated Hokage before being surrounded by four individuals. Each one looked like they were no different than Team Dosu in the age department. A burly heavy man with orange hair, a tan skinned lanky man with six arms, a slim blue haired man and a slender girl that made you think back to Karin with her reddish pink hair. Each one of them were wearing the exact same outfit as Orochimaru. The four individual started to tend to Orochimaru as he was preparing to leave.

Anger and rage was starting to return as you begin to realize precisely what happened.

You knew that Orochimaru was going to attack Lord Hiruzen but you never actually considered the possibility that Lord Hiruzen would lose let alone... No, that wasn’t true, you just deeply didn’t want to think about such possibilities. As you approached Lord Hiruzen, both the broly man and the slender woman stood in front of Orochimaru to act as a defense. Leaving the four armed man and the blue haired man to pick up Orochimaru by the arm. Seeing him like this set a series of emotions burning inside of you at great intensity. But with all that you just ignored the group and continue with rushing to Lord Hiruzen. You were furious not stupid.

Despite the growing rage inside you kept yourself from acting on those violent impulses. Not only were you weakened from Meiinfūinka (Netherworld Seal Transformation) but you were outnumbered. Given the presence they gave you can only assume that they were among Orochimaru’s elite. Each one of them has to be at least on the same level as Team Dosu if not even stronger. You weren’t in any condition to fight no matter how perfect of a chance you had in avenging Lord Hiruzen. Making your way to Lord Hiruzen you take one final look at Orochimaru. His face was starting to fall apart from the stress of losing his arms.

At your very eyes you saw the creepy middle-aged man transitioning into that of a beautiful young woman. The only thing that kept you from mistaking her for someone else was Orochimaru’s snake eyes. As you looked at her face you strongly recall seeing it from somewhere. Before you could ponder this further you watched Orochimaru and his men jumping into the sky to parts unknown. Leaving you to kneel down towards Lord Hiruzen. There was a serious deep wound against his right abdomen along the multitude of bruises and cuts. You immediately try to shake Lord Hiruzen to get him to respond. Slowly you saw a brief flash of light coming from his eyes.

“Ah…” Lord Hiruzen gasped, taking some deep breaths while currently against the ground.

“Lord Hiruzen! Thank goodness you’re still with us. I knew he couldn’t kill you.”You smiled at Lord Hiruzen, lifting him up and setting him against your lap while trying to heal him. But as you did this Hiruzen merely placed his hand against yours and shake his head.

“Don’t worry about me. Tell me what about the villagers? Are they safe?” He asked, looking at you at best he can. Although you were healing his wound his condition didn’t improve. In fact, you soon realize by all accounts he should be dead right now.. By sheer force of will he was keeping himself alive long enough to talk with you.

Biting your lip you briefly came close to crying at the realization. You take a deep breath before looking down at Lord Hiruzen. “Everyone is fine. The villagers are safe and the invasion has been stopped. We won.” You smiled, forcing yourself to keep it up and avoid crying.

“That’s good. I’m glad there wasn’t any casualties. I didn’t...want my mistake to cause any harm to the village. Everyone in the village is no different than my own children” Lord Hirzen said, gasping in each breath as it was taking a lot of effort. But you knew that he needed to say these last words to you. So you didn’t try to stop him speaking.

“Nonsense Lord Hiruzen! You didn’t do anything wrong. You’re a truly splendid leader. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. Everyone…..everyone is truly indebted to your kind efforts.” You continued to smile at him but drops of tears was starting to pour out. Still, you focused on giving Lord Hiruzen the warmest smile as you kept“So please...don’t leave this world with regrets.”

“Ahaha...you really are a pure hearted girl. I don’t think I deserve such kindness. But thank you for keeping an old man like me company in his last moments I only wished that I could continue watching you and the rest of your classmates as you continue to bloom into a beautiful flower.” Hearing him say those just made the memories flood back as you could no longer hold back your tears.

“Now listen Sakura. I knew that an attack was coming so don’t blame yourself thinking that you failed to tell me in time. Also in preparation for the worst, I have made this prepared for you. When the time is right open it.” As he spoke, Lord Hiruzen struggle himself to pull what looks to be a special blue croll decorated in golden symbols. You slowly picked up the scroll and held it tightly as you looked at him. “Sorry that you’ll have to settle with this for an early congratulation present.“

“No, I’m really thankful for this. Even in your dying breath you’re still looking after me.” You felt Lord Hiruzen brushing his left index finger to wipe out the stream of tears from your eyes. H kept a warm smile even as he was on his last breath. It made it all the more disheartening.

“Aha...I lived a long life. Far more than what anyone during my era got the chance to. And yet… I still can’t help but want to live just a little longer. I’m hopeless aren’t I.” Lord Hiruzen chuckled, you couldn’t help but join in the laughter. He soon coughed up some blood as his vision begins to blur.

“Take care of Konohamaru and the others for me Sakura. No matter what happens for you in the future....don’t ever lose that will of fire. Let that gentle heart set a purifying blaze that burns through any darkness without losing that pure essence Whatever you choose to do in life, always remember that I'm proud of you. II'm truly grateful to have met you, Sakura Haruno.” Lord Hiruzen mentioned, giving one last word of wisdom for pardoning words. He soon found himself feeling surrounded by the entire village in spirit. His heart was put at ease despite knowing full well where he’ll end up. The image of his former student showed himself to him before fading back to you as an act of symbolism.

“I will.” You nodded, your smile breaking as you sense that Lord Hiruzen was about to leave. With no more words to say you saw Lord Hiruzen finally succumbing to his fate and passing on. His body truly went cold and lifeless.

Almost as if the heavens themselves was brought to tears rain begins to pour down on the village. Even as you were drenched by the cold waters you not once left Lord Hiruzen’s side. For that moment of silence you felt the emotions running wild now that you were by yourself. Gritting your teeth you soon let out a loud scream. A sorrowful cry that was filled with anguish and anger as your heart transition into heartache. You didn’t hold anything back as you let it all out in a crying mess. You cried until there was no more tears in your eyes. But even at your lowest you didn’t lose yourself to this despair.

It wasn’t long before you completely regain your senses. Picking yourself up you decided to carry Lord Hiruzen’s lifeless body out of the wreckage. As you walked out of the surrounding forest you find yourself surrounded by several of the leaf ninja. You didn’t say a single word as everyone quickly put together the worst case scenario. Under your care you made sure to deliver Lord Hiruzen’s body to his loved ones to prepare for a funeral. Afterwards you made your way back home to collapse on your bed from the physical and mental exhaustion. The one person who brought you into the world of ninjas and served as both your surrogate grandpa and safety net was gone. And things were never going to be the same.

Your efforts and interactions helped filled the large hole that Orochimaru left and allowed him to leave this world without regrets.

After the invasion of Konoha, many things have changed as a result. For Sunagakure they were met with a shocking conclusion. Both the Wind Daimyo and the Fourth Kazekage have been eliminated by Orochimaru. What was truly horrific was the fact for the longest time they were dead. It seems that Orochimaru used some sort of jutsu or trade secret to pull it off. Allowing for him to subtly control the actions of Sunagakure and force them into waging war. And it wasn’t just Sunagakure, it seems that Orochimaru had manipulated Kusagakure and byproxy Amegakure into assisting with the attack. There was also the fact that he took advantage of the relationships with Kumogakure and Iwagakure.

The only one who he wasn’t able to convince was Kirigakure. Mainly that was due to the fact they have just recently underwent their own civil war and finally closed the curtain on the bloody reign of the fourth Mizukage and his followers. But like Konoha, Kirigakure suffered massive damage and focused their time on recovering and repairing their image.Although the villages have a united cause in being manipulated by Orochimaru, it seems that none of them were willing to take any direct actions. It was decided that it was generally Konoha’s trouble to deal with. And they’ll only take action if Orochimaru dare to make trouble within their villages.

As for Konoha, it was ultimately decided that Konoha wouldn’t pursuit retaliation towards the other villages. The invasion ended up killing a good number of Konoha’s military forces. Although Konoha was able to prevent the worse case scenario it didn’t change the fact that Konoha suffered greatly from this planned attack. Without the presence of a Hokage Konoha was in a vulnerable state. Among the five great villages Konoha now stood at the very bottom in military power as a result of the invasion and the remnants of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s attack. Currently the village elders have stepped up to take the role of leaders of the village. But it is only a temporary solution to the problems at hand. Sooner or later Konoha will have to find and recruit another individual for the role of Hokage.

But that was concerns to be dealt with for another time. In the passing week preparations were made for everyone to attend the funeral of the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi. Although everyone has been focusing on scrambling on repairs, nobody could freely move on without addressing the loss of their leader as well as the loss of countless ninjas in the invasion. Naturally you decided to take part in joining the rest of the villagers in mourning the loss of such a great individual. For you there was the excuse that you should remain bedridden and focus primarily on recovery after the effects of the Meiinfūinka. Even with your abnormal recovery rate and regenerative powers it was best not to over do it. Even so, you can't bring yourself to lie in bed and miss the funeral.

Accompanied by your friends and surprisingly Ami, you set out to the funeral spot. Right by your side was Inner Sakura as you manifested her. Like you told her in your mind you were going to have her experience the outside world and come to understand your viewpoint and just why you cared so much about the bonds you made. She didn’t put any fuss in the matter. Arriving at your destination point you took part in the series of events. From listening to the eulogy to placing a white flower for the fallen you made sure to follow every activity in the event. Seeing all the familiar faces brought some closure for you and Inner Sakura. Even Hayato and Yugao who were recovering from the attack showed up to grieve. Meanwhile you kept close to Konohamaru and listen to the speech that Kakashi and Iruka gave to Naruto about the value of life and what happens when someone dies.

Strangely Naruto showed incredible amounts of insight to understand what needed to be said and take to heart. Like Naruto, the rest of your class followed suit. It seemed that experiencing an actual war no matter how short had left some growing impression on others. You didn’t have Lord Hiruzen to be a safety net or a fountain of information. The village needed

Decided to summarized the funeral. Depending on your choices in the past I did have plans on the course of events relating to it. But you managed to cling on to your sense of self and made up with Inner Sakura. So there's no need.

Had you chose to sticking with the power path and sacrifice your humanity. Going as far to keep repressing/denying your feelings, you would feel yourself losing your emotions and becoming just like Saigyo. A person dictated entirely on rationality and pragmatism. Sort of what Shinichi from Parasyte underwent.

Once the funeral was over things slowly started to swing back to normality. Of course grieving process didn’t instantly went away as there was a lot of conflicting feelings. But like all things time was doing a good job of mending those scars left from the invasion. You weren’t any different, although there was a lot of things still lingering inside your heart. Why did Orochimaru's face look familiar to you? Who was that Shinigami and why did it know you? What was in the scroll that Lord Hiruzen left? There was so many questions running in your head that you felt like if you stopped to think you would be crushed by the weight.

For now you pushed them aside in order to do whatever you can to help the village. A week of rest was enough to make the pain stop. However, it didn’t change the fact that you were still feeling the aftereffects of Meiinfūinka. It was completely different compared to the strain you felt from Anima stage one. It was only your abnormal physiology, specifically your dense muscle tissues and bones that keeps your body from creaking and tearing itself apart from the prolonged exposure.

More or less you could still do your daily duties but it was still recommended that you take it easy for a while. Keeping that in mind you still set out to assist in any little way. Thinking back to the land of waves you get an idea of precisely what you should do to help out the village. You decided to spend your time helping with the reconstruction and rebuilding of Konohagakure.

Given your photographic memory and talents with architecture to better improve your battlefield control tactics it was the perfect idea. All of those times acting as a guide to your friends from afar served to hold some serious merits. Not only were you able to make blueprints based on your information but also how to improve them as well. Thanks to that you were able to greatly improve the efforts of the building team and give Tenzo a much needed break.

Through your diligence you were able to recreate and restore several of the landmarks and travel spots. Naturally building houses and the essential buildings like hospitals came first. In light of that you wanted to build morality to the people. It wouldn't be enough to replace their love ones. But having the village back the way it was would surely have some positive effects.

At the same time you knew that it was guilt that was motivating you. Hence why you generally chose to do construction yourself and leave the actual socializing to Inner Sakura. Although it wasn’t your fault you couldn’t forgive yourself for causing trouble to the village and harming your friends. You needed some serious space to reflect and think about how you’re going to set things straight. That and it was good for Inner Sakura having to actually deal with people. The results given however was another story. Baby steps.

As you continued with construction, you took notice of just how busy everyone was. Rarely was there any time to socialize or do typical pre-teen stuff. With Konoha military being understaffed it was now necessary for the remaining ninjas to work as hard as possible. Each one of the able ninjas found themselves taking additional work. They needed to show the rest of the world that they were still worthy of being among the five great nations. Showing weakness would only invite another invasion. So even though they should take the time to rest, the Konoha ninjas diligently pushed themselves for the good of the village. They didn’t want the legacy of the third to be tarnished and filled with bitter regrets.

Also the relationship with the Land of Wind has unfortunately took a turn for the worse.. Sunagakure was willing to make up for their part in the ambush but the Land of Wind was another story. The Land of Wind stopped sending their request to Konoha as some believed it was due to Konoha’s incompetence that lead to the Wind Damiyo’s death. This was mainly in relation with dealing with Orochimaru when they had the chance. And the effects of the war certainly hurt the standing for the Land of Fire. Although the Fire Damiyo was still supportive of Konoha, there was a lot of questions of whether or not they can do the job. Thus, there was a motion to revive the Twelve Guardian Ninja in case Konoha was to fall. These were just talks but it was clear that this was a problematic ordeal for Konoha.

You knew all of that thanks to Ami actually telling you about it through proper conversation. You weren’t exactly on friendly terms but rising from bitter antagonists to frienemies was a substantial jump in your relationship. Most noticeably was the fact Ami didn’t say anything bad or conceding to Lord Hiruzen. Despite being taught by her grandfather she refrained from kicking you down at your lowest. Something that the Ami of the past wouldn’t hesitate doing. Still, you don't need your senior to pick apart your unusual behavior. The smile you genuinely gave didn’t hold the same kind of warmth that usually soothe the soul. Not a like of trying mind you, there was just too much going on to make you return to normal.

Once the village reconstruction and restoration was finally done you decide to take some time off. No one could really stop you given how much hard work you have done in the long weeks of construction. Therefore the village elders and Kakashi approved of you with taking a long trip to Takamagahara. Arriving from the secret portal in Kikyo Castle you were greeted fondly by the Ninnekos. It wouldn’t take you long before you arrived to the massive Shiro (Japanese Castle) , taking the time to reflect that it also served as a parallel to how Kikyo’s castle was built. Inside you find yourself having a long conversation with Lady Nekoma after telling her the news of your extended stay.

As one would expect she was absolutely furious over the events that transpired during the invasion. You and the Ninnekos were lucky that Lady Nekoma’s sacred bluish white flames aka the Flames of Purgatory didn’t burn you despite engulfing the entire castle grounds.

Still, you made the effort to apologize to which Lady Nekoma disregarded as she could tell it wasn’t a validatory choice. So she only let you off by giving a Nijuushou powered flick to the forehead for losing your temper. The last time you received one of those it was enough to send you flying halfway across the castle grounds. Here you just met with hitting the wall. If that wasn’t a sign of growth you didn’t know what was. Afterwards you begin to undertake therapy sessions with Lady Nekoma.

Although your body has recovered from the experience the wise cat sage tempered to thoroughly mend and purify the mind, body and soul. That being said, you once again found yourself undergoing a training session from hell in between your recovery treatment. If nothing else she wasn’t going to let you become sloppy and neglect training due to sickness. Though when comparing your training to Orochimaru's method, Lady Nekoma was a saint as she never made you do something she didn't think you could achieve. While questionably sadistic she always have your well-being in mind. Hence why you usually did what she instructed with mild complains.

When you weren’t doing such physical labor you were given healing remedies ranging from acupuncture via steel needles, natural volcanic sauna, tai chi meditation under a raging waterfall, chiropractic messages from your sensei, enduring magnetic field therapy through the forests, bathing in the purifying waters and ingesting golden milk, consuming several of the world’s natural and senjutsu influence herbs although diluted, to finally talking things out with Lady Nekoma. Although unorthodox, her methods were having quite the positive effect on you. Natural treatments held a special effect quite different from Medical Ninjutsu and science, but the end result was the same.

Feeling comfortable you find yourself telling everything that plagued you during therapy time with Lady Nekoma. Inner Sakura also chirped in to reveal the problems that you yourself were unaware or chose to play ignorant about. You were embarrassed about some of the stuff you told Lady Nekoma the longer you continued these sessions. Lady Nekoma chalked it off to being a teenager and such actions were to be expected.

When you brought up the more embarrassing things like your relationship with Kin and Kabuki she sang a different tune. As a cat her concept of relationships was nowhere near as complicated and restricted as what humans placed upon themselves. It didn’t stop your sensei for teasing you over it.

But not once did she judged you or tell you what your feelings were right or wrong. Instead, she focused on tackling the source of your problems first before giving her guiding insight. Strangely this was rather lifting for you as for the longest time you mainly repressed your feelings and urges. Focusing more on helping others rather than tending to yourself. It was an effective means to dodge your lack of self-esteem and innate desire to connect to others instead of being isolated.

Coming to terms with this was a major big step for you on the path of controlling your feelings and gaining inner strength. Seriously though, I approve of being the second coming of Hashirama with ultimately wood release if we can ever get around too it, especially since Naruto is quite literally ninja jesus later on and the complete and sheer bullshit that Sasuke became as time went on, and so far it's looking like he will be an even bigger monster then his canon counterpart and naruto is getting character development faster so he will probably hit ninja jesus levels much faster I think.
Currently we've been told time and time again, we need to at some point start back with working on the basics of all our stuff so we don't go sliding back into mediocrity in various areas for a while. In addition to this if i was the one running the show we already have our own set up on how to become maximum bullshit, and what we need is time. It returned to the cute and simple appearance previously as the red flame also transformed into a cuddly fire spirit.

Out of instinct you begin to brush your tail, calming it down as your cat ears flopped down from the fright. “R-Right I’ll keep that in mind for the future. So forgive me for asking but how does all of this tie into the Shinigami?” You asked, tilting your head with moderate curiosity.

“Anyway, like what you told me about learning about Yokai there lies another world in connection to ours. The invisible world where the Yokai are said to come from. Many adopted this invisible world as the Seishinkai (Spiritual World) thinking it must be where one’s soul ends up but that’s a misconception. It is only a space that a strong enough chakra that can force the invisible world to interact with the individual both spiritually and physically depending on the usage. The real world where the soul goes is called the Jōdo (Pure Lands).” Hearing Lady Nekoma talk about such a place made you lost for words. Religion wasn’t exactly something you strongly held regard given you were practically an atheist. The closest thing to religious practice was your will of fire and the general teachings of Ninshu. But neither one of them strongly carried enough religion to sway you to be a devoted believer at this time.

“Yes I’m fine. I just got lost in thought. Pardon me.” Lady Nekoma smiled, slowly picking herself up from the ground before meeting with your eyes. You still held a worried look, causing Lady Nekoma to pet you on the head to reassure you.

“Ahem. What are called Kami are merely spirits or phenomena created by the affects of the world in order to serve as a system or encompassing force to balance the world. At the end of the day they are merely just remnant of chakra giving shape and form. Chakra is the accumulation of the essence that defines one’s existence, their soul mixed with the physical body. When someone dies they are generally split in half with the physical and spiritual connection now severed. The physical body or earthly half stays behind while the spiritual half transcend into the pure lands. Typically when one is held by strong feelings for someone or earthly regrets, the spiritual side will find themselves anchored to the world or reach a middle plane of existence. To achieve this means that the earthly half, the part that holds your memories and attachments has failed in purifying the spiritual half and returning it to the pure state.” Lady Nekoma said, making sure to explain it in a way that someone of your intellect can understand.

Chakra operates on a similar practice but is held back by our world’s universal laws and physics. The Spiritual World doesn’t have as strong reigns despite co-existing with the physical realm. Therefore, if chakra is strong enough both in raw output and strong feelings, then one can anchor themselves to the physical plane. Or more commonly the spiritual world. Of course one requires the knowledge needed to develop the anchor and a tool to achieve it. Though exceptions have been made, what normally constitute the tool differs on the individual but it is usually an object. In my entire existence never before have I met anyone who came close to recreating the original human’s power to achieve such a feat.“ Lady Nekoma briefly paused, once again thinking about that same individual as she was holding an oni mask in hand before standing in front of the Kyuubi as she prepared for battle. “That is...I never met anyone who did it better than the Uzumaki Clan.”

But after embracing Anima and training to make it my own, something in me changed. I found myself drawn to Kin’s strength and valor. She was my enemy but she ended up helping me out of wanting a fair fight. Things escalated and I ended up making it to second base with her. Ugh I just want to die.” You replied, slinking your head in shame as your Rapunzel like pink hair covered your face like a sheep’s wool.

“At first I thought it was just Anima amplifying my hormones but I’m not so sure now. Coming to terms with my deeper emotions and embracing them has never been easy for me. Mainly because I been repressing them for so long and trying to keep in control. But after seeing Kin’s past and knowing just how similar she and I are...it only complicates things further. “ You muttered, placing your hand against your face upon thinking about Kin. The blush on your face worsen the more you thought about her. “She’s wise, cunning, adaptive, flexible, perceptive, etc. She has a brilliant mind and just oozes with confidence and wisdom. She knew just how teenagers worked as no matter the species it was always the same. Still, she would do her job of giving some much needed insight to her fumbling student. “Answer me this Sakura. Do you love Kin Tsuchi? What is her importance to you? How does she make you feel? Is she someone you want to pursuit or keep at a distance? Acknowledging your feelings is important, choosing what you do with those feelings is another. Regardless of stances or etiquette what you want most is something you should keep in mind when weighing how your bonds should proceed.“

Suddenly you stopped yourself from rolling any further. Eyes widen in shock they soon drop down to an uncertain gaze. Looking at the ground you started to think real hard about what Lady Nekoma insightful words. “...I don’t know. Romance was never something I was interested in. I had a lot of different things to tackle and put up with. But maybe...I was just afraid to put myself out there. Afraid of getting hurt and rejected. Anyway as you can see I'm trying to tackle the whole reincarnation aspect the actual canon introduced at the last second while lowkey hinting at developments for the Shinigami since like many other naruto plots it barely gets any notice and dropped imminently until 400 chapters later only to fade again. This is basically keeping Naruto and Sasuke as Representative of Asura and Indra's will/chakra without simply being born as their reincarnation. Making it something they earn due to their ideology/actions better fits the story in my honest opinion. As well as fit another aspect that Boruto introduce with the Otsutsuki that makes way too much sense in the long run. ]

Before you left the castle grounds the two of you naturally packed supplies for the trip. As well as take account to fill the tanks for the trip. Still, to compensate to your new chakra levels the body needs way more nourishment to continue gradually adjusting instead of rejection. Though the medicine you took daily was helping with the process greatly.

Once fully stocked the two of you traveled towards Akoigahara Forest at supersonic speeds. At first it was quite an unnerving experience but you managed to adjust rather quickly. Everything was becoming clear to you like it was from your own eyes. Previously you experienced being blind out in the open during your match with Temari. Which resulted in you learning air current sensing. And in your fight with Kin you developed your air current senses further through using your skin, specifically the hair on it as the medium. Right now was no different. You further mimic a cat’s senses through your own body. Although you held a tail you instinctively try to pull off the same effect through your whole body. Slowly you adjusted despite your speed fluctuating from this experiment. Only with a few scraps on the body did you finally get the hang of it. You felt yourself taking another step as you further honed your senses and build up stamina.

As you continue to run at such speeds the secondary reason made it self apparent to you. Naturally you kept up to Lady Nekoma’s speed as she was the leader. You didn’t know the area and haven’t mastered fluid chakra sensing to be able to do outside of Kanchikata (Sensory Mode). So you were dependent on your sensei for directions. At the same time she was subtly changing her movements. Gradually speeding up her motions she was getting farther and farther from you. Causing you to hastily catch up but upon doing so you realized the risk of immediately changing speeds on a dime thanks to a sharp pain in your calves. Additional strain on the body can cause the muscles to tear and bones to dislocate at best. While denser and more robust it didn’t change the fact you still held limits. If you relied simply on regenerating you get the feeling that Lady Nekoma would lung at you to punch you in the face before disappearing.

Put between a rock and a hard place you find yourself struggling with your current predicament. You were noticeably slower than Lee, Sasuke, Tenten, Ami and Haku in comparison. After all, you were a brawler and not a speedster. Unfortunately Lady Nekoma held vasts amount of experience and honed herself to such a degree. You’d feel like if she wanted too she could reach the highest level of speeds possible with a single step. Before the gap grew further you focused all your remaining senses sharply on Lady Nekoma to find a hint. Doing so led you to find exactly what you were looking for. Without saying a word Lady Nekoma was teaching you another lesson.

Through observation you saw that she was using an alternate form of sensing via Sesshoku Taiou (Contact Type) to continuously be aware of her surroundings and those within the area. It was through using her hair in this form unlike where in her tiger state it would primarily be her whiskers. Though you felt her whisker markings were achieving the same effect. Animals were naturally more accurate to sensing giving their strong connection to nature. Their animistic instincts gave way to their five senses, most commonly the sense of touch to perceive chakra in an always active manner. You who merged with your berserk half was fully in tune with your primal instincts. Therefore, you begin to take your seismic sensing and air current sensing to the next level by converting it into Sesshoku Taiou. Easier said than done as it was a new experience sensing chakra through physical contact. Not only that you were expected to make Kanchikata become second nature. By this understanding you started to feel closer to Kin who naturally demonstrated such sensitivity thanks to her blindness.

For the next seventy two hours you continued this method. Gradually learning how to make the necessary steps to achieve a level of fine tuned chakra sensing without molding chakra for Kanchikata. A sensor’s worst enemy is someone who can suppress all manners of sensing and make themselves untraceable as demonstrated in your fight with Kin. Despite the method of chakra suppression made one incapable of using Ninjutsu and Genjutsu it still worked perfectly with methods like Silent Killing. Therefore you trained your butt off refining your natural sensitivity. In addition to improving your senses you also took the necessary steps to adjust your speed management. Through stubborn diligence not once did you find yourself losing sight of your sensei. By the third day you were running side by side as you finally stood on equal grounds. Eventually the both you would arrive at the dense forest. In spite of the condition of your body you took it upon yourself to collapse onto the ground.

Slowly removing yourself from the bedroll you pulled yourself outside. As the dim light shine across the area your senses alerted you to a peculiar sight. It was Kin currently invoking her daily ritual of physical activity. A mixture of breathing exercises and fancy footwork. Just seeing the fluidity of her motions and rhythmic timing made you think she was doing some form of shinto dancing. Yet you saw static energy forming from her every movement, enticing her in a golden aura. During the entire duration you were rendered speechless as you entranced. The electric current was flowing like water but shine brightly like an illuminating flame.

Catching sight of you she finished her routine by subtly disbursing the static discharge in a radiant glow. “Well aren’t you a deer caught in the headlights. Really Romance in Naruto if not the majority of shonen has and most likely always will be shit. And seeing it first hand only made me realize the foolishness of my actions. So I didn’t run, instead I chose to stay and atone for my involvement in this. I intended it for only myself as I was willing to sacrifice myself for my team. But like always Dosu and Zaku just continue to stick to me like glue and did the unthinkable and join me in the act. For the next couple of minutes as Kin caught her breath you continued to smile cheerfully as the anger subdue itself and you slowly returned to normal. Unlike the standard the person who receives the chakra is reduced to a puppet that the individual who gave the chakra can control them remotely. Making them more of a perfect doppelganger given their movement and knowledge will be indistinguishable from the original. Everything tied to them is also replicated, right down to any Kekkei Genkai, bodily enhancements or special equipment. Of course the clone is limited by the amount of chakra put into them and once that chakra goes..they’ll revert back to normal just before dying. It’s a sacrificial jutsu made with the intended purpose of using others as pawns to do your dirty work while safely away from the distance. “ Hearing Kin explained the method only made your blood boiled. You knew Orochimaru was a real scumbag but to pull off something of this nature managed to completely destroy your previous opinion of the madman. Was there no limits to how far Orochimaru would sink? Even so you kept a close eye to Kin who was now kneeling against her knees with her arms wrapped around them.

“Seeing the face of Shiore made reconfirm my suspicions about Orochimaru. We were nothing but disposable pawns. No matter how valuable we are or how much we proved ourselves, sooner or later he’ll discard us for his own ambition. Once we lived our purpose we’re good as dead. Mizuki and Kajika are another prime examples of that.” Kin reflected, thinking that she really dodged the bullet with you and your friend’s involvement. Pushing them to new heights while offering shapeshifting capabilities that’s uncommon in standard transformation jutsus. Forgot to address this but actually you basically Kakuzu'd Gaara. The only thing you failed at was changing his ideology and empathizing with him. Something that Naruto had to do when facing Shukaku Gaara and bringing Gaara back to the surface. You didn’t reply to that, once again you knew just how much your anger can lead to you to prone to such feats of domination that at worst dives into aggression territory. These thoughts continued bouncing around in your head, causing your heart to race faster as it builds up an abundance of energy and hormones.

The burning sensation worsens as your body temperature rises to signify the feeling of being set on fire. Suddenly your stomach convulsed, and you doubled over, wrapping an arm around your belly while the other caught her from hitting the ground. Under the arm holding your stomach, you could feel those abdominal muscles twitching and pulsing as you breathed, getting tighter and thicker. More than just a change of skin pigment you felt your flesh becoming notoriously dense and thick with a multitude. Glancing at your skin you began to notice that the short sleeves on your qipao dress was getting tighter, as if they were shrinking, and exposing more of your reddish tinged skin.

Belated, you noticed that it wasn’t just the sleeves, but your dress, fishnet undershirt, shoes, socks and undergarments were also becoming progressively restrictive. The fabric while constructive continued to held up as it starts to merge with your flesh. Seemingly disappearing from sight it begins to morph itself into a more fitting attire. Enveloped in a maroon braided bikini top and matching mawashi bikini bottom, you begin to resemble that of an oni in appearance.

In continuation, your finger and toenails sprouting into pitch black claws, matching with the spikes now sprouting from your forearms, shoulder, and calves. A process that only furthered the intense pain that having your biology altered to these extremes could only produce. Crippled by the sensation the pain effectively wracked your body, intensifying the involuntary convulsions, bone creaking, muscle tightening and stretching. You felt your limbs growing with the rest of your body’s sudden expansion. With another sudden grinding feeling in her back, she cried out and dropped to her knees, spiky pink hair hanging down over your face as you panted, gazing at the floor.

Eyes now spokes from the rapunzel-like locks from your wild hair carried a blackened sclera with your eyes transitioned into an ominous shade of green and slit pupils.

From what seemed like an eternity your body finally stopped transforming. Your breathing soon normalized as your body has reached a level of stabilization. Despite that continuous amount of bodily chemicals and stimulus such as adrenaline,endorphins, noradrenaline, endorphins and amphetamine courses through your body in a raging surge. Soon enough your body quickly recovered from the painful transformation as your muscles revigorite themselves.

Slowly you pulled yourself up from the ground, no longer held back from the sensation of pain. Standing at seven feet and two inches and weighing in seven hundred pounds of dense tissues you were a far cry compared to your natural appearance. Jumping up to a physique akin to that of a martial arts master in her mid-twenties you were almost completely unrecognizable to your sensei and companion. Oddly enough, they noted that there wasn't a single blemish on your skin despite the painful metamorphosis. Inf act, it carried a lustrous shade of dark red.

With the tribe markings radiated with a wild and untamed aura akin to nature itself. Turning to the side there was a pronounced rounded bulge on your rear underneath the massive tail. The statuesque amazon that is you started to glance at your appearance before turning to Kin and Lady Nekoma. Fragmentation of your sense of self was the only connection this raging best held. But that sense of self was slowly beginning to fade as an ominous aura caused by the darkening orb illuminated your body.

“Graaaaaaah!” You screamed, letting out a powerful surge of sonic waves and kinetic force. This high pitched battle cry exerted exceptional volumes of ultra high frequency. Lady Nekoma andKin had to cover their ears just from how extremely loud you currently demonstrated. The sheer force of the scream was able to actually travel through the deafen thick forest of Aokigahara and break the silence. By the time the screaming ended all that was left was the terrified trembling of the wildlife that made them docile and kneel in fear for their beastial queen.

Finishing up from that display of primal dominance you begin to focus on the two women in front of you. Specifically your eyes darted to Lady Nekoma. Steel taut tissues continued to contract and expand in a soft loop of stretching and thickening the developed musculoskeletal structure. Although your body fully stabilized, there were subtle hints of further augmentation on your burgeoning form. A single step on the ground was carrying enough force to cause cracks on the dense volcanic rock which was notoriously much tougher and resilient than the standard ground.

Slowly you started to move towards your would be prey. Driven by the violent impulses and dark influence your mind continue to slip into a state of dormancy as your psyche erodes. Yet you still trust in your sensei to handle this. The only thing left for you was committing to observing from within.

Meanwhile Lady Nekoma simply used hand gestures to direct Kin to stay behind her. Given what the Great Cat Sage was picking up from you gave the incentive to keep up her guard. Luckily Kin didn’t give any backtalk as she could feel the illuminating damage as the air thickens. Thus, she resorted to taking a supportive role by activating her sharingan. Leaving Lady Nekoma to take the direct approach through confronting you. Not caring who comes forth you prepared yourself for the upcoming confrontation.

Between the two of you there was an intense clash of killing intent, causing the air to twist and turn violently while the ground trembles. Normally exposing her presence was enough to make you nervous and uneasy but now you were meeting her head on without any fear. Lady Nekoma took notice of this while remaining stationary. Leaving you to make the first move in this mexician standoff.

Lunging forward you begin to make the first move with a straightforward punch towards Lady Nekoma. Naturally she tilts her head to avoid the blow,going as far to dodging the force such raw strength carries. Impressive as that was she didn’t let herself get conceited, rather she focused on dodging the series of punches that soon followed. Each one of them traveled at greater speeds and ushered far more strength that you were normally capable of even at red lotus. Heck the output was on a higher level than what Shinsei Mahachisu could normally provide.

Keeping this in mind Lady Nekoma sharpened herself and adjust to your rampant rhythm. Passing through your series of rabbit punches Lady Nekoma effectively closed the gap between you and her. Before she gotten the chance to deliver a powerful punch to your face, your arms begin to drastically contract themselves to the point of compression.

Normally her serious punches and kicks would be enough to frighten if not cripple her opposition but you were different. Not only did you know how to take a punch even in this state the sense of fear was a foreign concept to your current state of mind. The only thing that was undergoing in your head was the strong desire to fight and kill. All the blows you were forced to tank and endure only further the aggression and frustration that currently took hold of you. Even with comparable strength you find yourself unable to land a single blow on to a serious Lady Nekoma. On her end she couldn’t put you down no matter how much force she placed into her blows or what crippling spot she struck. Your body’s resilience and adaptability was truly earning its keep as you kept rising back for more.

However, the sensation you felt then was more primal and savage like that of nature. Here it was far more sinister in addition to the amplified impulses and stimuli pushing for such actions.

The more time you spent your transformed appearance the further corruption underwent in this malignant state. A sinister chakra starts to seep from your body as it reeks of a foul scent but it was a familiar one at that.

Quickly acting on this brief moment of shock this mysterious figure grabbed you by the waist. By the time you snapped out of it the androgynous humanoid successfully coiled around the armpits to restrict your arm movements. Now ensnared the mysterious entity it started to drain you of your strength while dragging you directly into the orb. Struggling with all of your might you find yourself pulled into the orb as it closes behind you. The last thing you would see was darkness as you sank into a pitch black sea. Continuing your struggles you pressed against the figure to see it started to morph. Slowly changing from an androgynous figure it started to resemble an older version of yourself. Only that it still held black hair and those creepy eyes as it can only smile with elongated fangs.

Lady Nekoma on the other hand held a lifetime of experience and it’s her long diligence that made the foundation that allowed her to pull such feats like they were nothing to write home about. Still, a long and drawn out fight would be disastrous for your body. Not that in your current state would realize as she continues to angrily strike at Lady Nekoma. Knowing this Lady Nekoma refrained from drawing this experiment out any more than necessary.

With that in mind, Kin kept watch as she followed both combatant's movements. With her Sharingan out she was committing the entire fight to memory. Even the minuscule of details made themselves known to the graceful assassin. Understanding how the Meiinfūinka work and the psychological changes was more important than the welfare of your body. This was something you told both combatants as you gave your trust in them before transforming.

Even so, there was a sense of urgency for Kin to breakdown and decode the information. Easier said than done given how your berserk state made you an unpredictable monstrosity. In your unrelenting rage you were incapable of falling under Genjutsu given the loss of impulse control simplifying your connection to your mind to acting only on the basics. Otherwise, Kin would’ve stepped in to use Genjutsu: Sharingan to stop your rampage.

It didn’t help that each of the blows delivered that would work on you started to lose their impact. Making it harder for Lady Nekoma keeping you from attacking Kin and slowing down on your rampage. Just recently you came close to striking Kin as she prepares to use her Sharingan to control you despite your resistance. Only for your sensei to appear in between you through kneeling down to travel underneath Kin’s legs. Catching you off guard Lady Nekoma followed up by delivering a powerful uppercut straight at your jaw.

In this rage your muscle mass and height increased, skin becoming rougher & tougher as it creates thickly layers of exoskeleton, and your bio-energy starting to produce an intense magnetic field. Spikes beginning to form around your tail with the remaining spikes on your body becoming more jagged and going as far as turning the spikes on your back into winged like appendages. The spike and horns were now akin to actual diamonds in appearance and density/hardness. The iris of your eyes now disappearing to signify your improved enrage state thanks to your continuous evolution.

“If this incarnation of yours can get stronger overtime, sooner or later she’ll overpower me if I continue to rely on my current level of prowess. Of course in exchange it seems like she loses all manner of common sense and reasoning. A real brutish behemoth with the finesse and characteristics of a juggernaut.” Lady Nekoma let out a brief sigh at the sight, scratching her head on her remaining options. “Guess I have no choice but to kick it up a notch.”

Realizing the strain that was coming from drawing more natural energy into yourself, Lady Nekoma kneels downward before taking off a sprinting dash. Contracting her leg muscles she begins to draw more raw strength as she became faster and faster by the second. Before you could realize it, Lady Nekoma disappeared through breaking the sound force and traveling the slip stream. Allowing her to bypass through the resistance to deliver a relentless barrage of punches and kicks against your new form.

Truly she proved her wisdom and skills needed to be an excellent sensei to you. Despite your continuous fluctuation of physical prowess to extreme levels, you still find yourself rendered helpless in your berserk rage. Lady Nekoma was not giving you a single chance to act.

Meanwhile in your subconscious you were currently being dragged in the depths of blackening ocean by a corrupted doppelganger. Inner Sakura was unfortunately cut off from you as the black orb manifested several layers of mental blocks. Leaving you having to deal with the entire ordeal all alone. Cut off from all manner of sense you begin to feel rather cold. The fragmentation of your mind only worsen the further you sank into the darkness. Directly confronting the source of the corruption only further spreading the eroding effect at a faster rate. Slipping from exposure you ran your brain into overdrive trying to figure out how to to rid yourself of this entity.

Slowly struggling against Orochimaru’s hold you start to tussle and fight against the corrupting influence. Although it was a piece of Orochimaru’s consciousness it was quite the formidable entity. Perhaps due to the effects of the Meiinfūinka, the darker entity demonstrated a stronger hold against you. Strength slowly fading as your mind deteriorates further. Still, you refused to let yourself give in. There was too much at stake and too many people in your life to let yourself lose. If nothing else you were tenacious and stubborn as time after time again you overcame adversity once pushed at your lowest point.

Then it dawns upon you just what kind of opportunity lies before you. Staring at you was more than just a darken incarnation of yourself. This was actually a piece of Orochimaru, on of the three legendary sannin who has been tormenting you for months. Whatever problem you encountered always has its connection with Orochimaru one way or another. Just recently he lead an attack that nearly destroyed your village and assassinated the Third Hokage. An event that you have been trying your hardest to move on, and seeing Orochimaru only made your blood boil. Something that didn’t help you as it fed into your relentless berserker state.

Worse yet was the fact that if you were dealing with this then Sasuke was at a greater risk. He was the one who actually has the curse mark and was Orochimaru’s focus, his next vessel. You already lost an important piece of your childhood with Lord Hiruzen. Losing another would surely cause you to breakdown, but it being Sasuke was your breaking point. You couldn’t bare to let Orochimaru have Sasuke. In addition to being your childhood friend he was also your teammate. You were the closest thing to family for him on his road to recovery. He was making great strives to returning to how he once was and you weren't going to let anyone ruin your hard work. You may not have been there for him when he needed you most once. You weren’t ever going to let such a thing happen again…..never again.

With newfound resolve you headbutted the fragment of Orochimaru, forcing him back before grabbing him by the arms. A passionate fire burns in your eyes as you felt yourself reinvigorated with the strength of your bonds. “Go ahead and try to merge with me. But I refuse to lose my mind to you.” You begin to emit a powerful pink light, breaking through the darkness as a beacon of hope. The shining light pushed the snake entity back as you stand your ground. In spite of this it can only smile wildly before lunging back at you with tremendous force.

“Let’s put that to the test shall we?” The entity remarked, illuminating an ominous light in response to your light. The two forces began to clash with one another in this heated power struggle.

Quickly aiming to act on your boast the entity quickly broke itself down into a surge of spiritual energy in the shape of a giant white snake. Before you can even gasp it started to invade your body. You think back to when Orochimaru fed you his chakra to spread his influence onto you. But like before you manifested Shinsei Mahachisu to counteract this. Unlike before where you expelled and purified the chakra you merely siphoned the entire consciousness into your body. The entity was taken completely off guard as you draw every part of it into yourself throughout your entire subconscious. Not leaving a single trace of it to reform or escape.

Contained inside of you started to trigger a sudden metamorphosis. The pulsation and convulsions forced you to clench your stomach before kneeling in a ball. The true battle begins now as you felt the corrupting force trying to take over. Stubbornly with all your might you held back the influence and fight with all of your might. In this game of tug of war you think back to Inner Sakura as you come to a realization of what your actions will leave once this is over. Although a necessary evil this act of merging with another’s consciousness would only come to bring another sacrifice. Find yourself drifting into slumber you think back to think of a single thought to deliver before embarking on your transformation. Forgive me my other self

The blackened orb started to radiate a pinkish glow as it signifies the core. Even now your will was exerting dominance despite fully embracing the other entity in this battle for control. If nothing else you were going to make sure that you were going to be the dominant personality. With enough compression it became as small as a simple baseball, fully swirling with dense natural energy. Ren Fujizuho (Lotus Nonself Connected Cannon) From your mouth came a tremendous volley of concussive natural energy as the multiple streams merges together to morph into the shape of a giant beam.

Seeing the attack coming for her Lady Nekoma braced herself for the impact and guard against it to the best of her abilities. On one hand she could’ve easily dodge the attack despite its incredible speeds. On the other hand it would’ve left Kin getting caught with the blast radius. So the choice was clear as Lady Nekoma decided to tank the attack. While Lady Nekoma ultimately came out of the attack with a few cuts and bruises she was mostly unscathed. Although her fighting gi was more or less torn by the highly pressurized attack. Meanwhile Kin saw this as an opportunity to finally invade the berserk Sakura’s mind through making contact. Before she would get the chance to fully tame the best after releasing her Genjutsu Sharingan, something unexpected begins to happen. The juggernaut incarnation of rage started to kneel down on the ground. Suddenly driven to clinch its head the berserk Sakura let out a ferocious roar as it screams in agony.

Slowly opening your eyes you find yourself back in the outside world again. While you were still mutated by the Meiinfūinka you no longer felt the corrupting influence eroding your mind. The only thing that remained was the physical strain that this form put on you. This was a fine trade off since you didn’t expect to master it after neutralizing the primal urges and violent impulses that Anima carried. You could only mentally smile at this as you marveled over the changes. Still, you didn’t have enough time to be impressed with your new form as Lady Nekoma was picking herself up from the ground and getting ready to beat the ever loving shit out of you.

Coming out of your vanity you begin to acknowledge the danger that was coming your way. Even with your gains it still pales in comparison to the experience that Lady Nekoma has. Not to mention you suffered far too much damage in this long bout with your sensei. Sure you could speed up your recovery and bring yourself back into prime fighting form. Deep down you know that Lady Nekoma wouldn’t give you the chance to achieve such a revival. And on the off chance it did happen it’ll only means that she’ll start using the Nijuushou series to overwhelm your body to the point it couldn’t easily recover. All the signs pointed that continuing to battle for any reason would be disastrous and unfavorable in the long run. You may have a deep fondness for battle and self-improvement. However, it didn’t hold a strong enough influence to make you throw away logic and act on these desires.

With that in mind, you start to think the best course of action. Now one would think that telling the truth about what you did would be the most logical pathway to follow. And yet you strongly felt like that was inviting your own demise. Kin has a serious grudge against Orochimaru and for good reason. Even if you conquered the soul fragment after merging with it, there was still the possibility of you being influenced by Orochimaru. By all accounts Kin would most likely think that you were trying to save your skin and avoid your fate. As for Lady Nekoma, you got the feeling that if the worst case scenario happened she would kill you out of necessity of saving your soul. She wouldn’t immediately jump to that case but keeping on constant guard with Lady Nekoma was the last thing you wanted.

As you run through all the possible methods to escape your predicament several ideas come to mind. Most of them weren’t exactly very morally correct despite the irrefutable logic they carry. That said, you went through several of these ideas to think the most likely move that Sakura would normally make. Just a single idea came to mind. Through your full control of your body you suddenly go limp just moments before Lady Nekoma arrived. Quickly dropping to the ground you begin to undo the Meiinfūinka. Faking being too tired to move and achieving unconsciousness was a brilliant move. It gave your body the chance to naturally recover from all the strain and accumulated physical trauma you underwent while trying to get absolute sovereignty over Anima and all of its forms. More importantly, you can continue playing the fool and hide what truly happened in your mind.

Of course you made sure not to deactivate Meiinfūinka too quick as you wanted to avoid suspicion with your companions. For extra insurance Lady Nekoma slapped a talisman seal on your mouth. Considering what you can do with just your mouth she has every right in cutting off every action.

Once safely secure Lady Nekoma left you alone to stew over the current situation. In retrospect they had every right to put up a contingency plan against your berserk state. Especially when Lady Nekoma knows the symptoms that correlated to the tragedy of the Tenbin Clan. You couldn’t fault her for that. Still, this was the last thing you considered for a preemptive method when coming up the plan of playing possum. At least nobody was going to disrupt you as you recover.

Normally you’d most likely would’ve sprung back to life and tried vigorously to break through your rope bindings. This wasn’t the first time you find yourself restricted and in bondage. Heck, the first time was through manipulating your hair and losing concentration at Inari’s house due to Naruto not knowing how to knock. You were really fuming with anger during that day. Unlike that nostalgic moment you were calm and composed.

Almost to an unsettling degree you merely kept your wits about you and think about your predicament in a logical manner. Currently you were wrapped in several feet in thickly dense golden rope and your mouth was sealed in a special talisman. As Miss Fundamentals there was no doubt that your higher mastery of the technique would fair a better chance at busting through these bindings. Of course you also thought about the possibility that the Golden ropes could have anti-jutsu property or even be able to absorb your chakra and disrupt your control.

Ultimately you decide to use this chance to focus on recovery. It was an understatement to how sore your body became during your long rampage in Meiinfūinka. Combined with an assortment of physical trauma and strain you underwent from the experience it was best to not do anything that would alert suspicion. That said, you found it relatively boring pretending to be unconscious.

Although this gave you the perfect chance to practice and further hone your other senses especially your sense of touch through seismic sensing and air current sensing. It didn’t change the fact you mostly waited on the outside in complete solitude governing your body’s natural recovery. Not that you could really complain given your situation. As you expected the Dead Demon Consuming Seal was doing unfatherm amounts of torment upon Orochimaru. Not only could he not use any jutsu relating to the use of his arms but his actual arms were starting to rot and decay. Lord Hiruzen might not have ensured an instant death with Orochimaru but he effectively sealed his fate with this jutsu. For the time being he was reduced to being inactive while his men worked diligently through regions unknown to try and restore him. Luckily you didn’t suffer any of the original’s effects given that while connected to his consciousness it didn’t branded you with the same curse. Still, you acknowledge that you are more or less a backup copy of the original if he were too kick the bucket. Pushing that aside you merely continued to digest the knowledge.

Easier said than done considering there were decades among decades of knowledge and memories buried inside your mind. So much in fact you needed to essentially make a third space like how the second mind that govern Inner Sakura for all these knowledge. It was going to take a long time before you decode every tidbit of information but given the secrets buried within the mind more than made this a worthy investment.

For instance you realize that Orochimaru has looked into the scroll of sealing during his time in Konoha before his banishment. You found it funny in a twisted sort of sense just how alike you was to Orochimaru. Minus the whole lack of moralities and inhumane activities. Although you understand the logical reasoning for his actions. It didn't change your strong desire to kill him.

From you understood it was called the Shirohebi no Chikara (Power of the White Snake), a series of bodily mutations in correlation to the blessing of the White Snake Sage. Through your mutation you were able to recreate these abilities as you transition further from being human and more like a genuine beast of abnormality. Though with your mutation and full control it shift into Niki no Chikara (Power of the Vermillion Earth Ogre) instead.

Again this should be alarming to how unnatural you were becoming as a living weapon. Yet all you can think about just how efficient you were becoming and how you can make it more beneficial as you optimize yourself. All the concerns that normally plague your mind was a distant memory. When thinking about it you could only mentally laugh at the foolishness that your old self carried. It was so much better being like this. There was no alarming concern with your gains. You were still you deep down so there was nothing to worry about...right?

Also before I forget I took the story liberty to have the Senju clan's lineage spread itself thin through the generations since the mutual partnerships and ultimately creation of the village. I wanted to keep the importance of the whole Will of Fire/carrying on the Senju will while acknowledging that unlike several clans like the Uchiha they chose to fully integrate themselves with the village if not the land of fire altogether and serve as the foundation for the people of today. I think by doing this it keeps what Kishimoto wanted to achieve with them while maintaining their importance to the story.

From the medicine and the source sealed off by Inner Sakura during your last encounter with him in the forest of death you have a boundless amount of the resource to work with. In hindsight this was probably the main reason why your chakra quality and quantity shot up in volume and power. As well as several of Orochimaru’s gifts were able to be fully recreated. Hence you decided to take it one step further in the month of recovery by utilizing the knowledge of principles relating to Naruto’s eight trigram seal to naturally merge more of the chakra with your own reserves. Your current level of chakra control made it possible as you continued reaping the benefits of your newfound knowledge. By the time the month was over you were a completely different person.
