As you get home you take your meds for tonight which makes you a tiny bit lethargic as you pack up. However you being quite the packrat and hoarder manages to pack in more items than a normal person would in your backpack leaving you room for three items since you do need to take your meds for the morning and some change of clothes for tomorrow. You grab your laptop and a video camera that you can easily set up. You look around and notice some mints and an old ouija board you and chad used to mess around with as kids. Torn between the two you decided that the ouija board would be more useful than the mints you just need to remember to brush your teeth and gargle a bit of mouth wash on your way out Just in case something interesting happens. Halfway through your packing your meds and chad's rosary you get a call from rukia telling you that yes you can stay the night tonight. Although her older sister is gonna be home with her whom you recall you've never met before, better make a good impression john. But before you can practice your how do you do's your dad comes into your room and tells you that if you plan on catching a ride to rukia's house you better leave now because he and mom plan on heading out for dinner tonight. Oof, looks like you don't have much time to pack what do you take.

Chad is a great guy but me and your mom we're worried that you were closing yourself off. Which I'm glad its not true but we're a bit surprised that you're suddenly staying at some girl's house." He stops at a stop sign and you notice the same guy there staring at you. An intrusive thought comes to mind to wave at him but you push that right on out. "So you know maybe introduce us to them sometime? Doesn't need to be today" Your father taps your shoulder to get your attention and you nod. "I'll try maybe I'll invite her to our house, Who knows." your dad chuckles and you notice the guy that you were staring at is gone again. "Well if you do we'll see if we can clear out of the house so its just you two" Your father gives you a wink and drives off. After a few more minutes of seeing the guy and them disappearing you finally arrive at rukia's place. Its a one story house in a decent part of town, You notice a light in the basement and in the living room. "Well you're here, If something goes wrong don't hesitate to give us a call. You know our number right?" you nod, You do you always carry a card with their number in case you pass out in public. "alright take care john." your father gives you a hug before leaving. As he leaves you take a look around for that guy and notices, he isn't here. "

Rukia shakes her head and stammers out immediately "Uhhh she uhm was hungry and wanted me to cook for tonight. She's uhhm lazy yeah lazy. Just uhm wait downstairs while I get dinner ready okay" Ryona shrugs at her answer and walked back to their living room to nap on the couch.

With that rukia is once again is as red as a beet and she lets out a torrent in japanese but ryona doesn't care she has her hand out waiting for you to give up the taco which you do. "Well well I like guy who keeps his word, Maybe You should come over to my room instead" She winks at you and rukia puts you between her and you while speaking in japanese, man you really wish you hung around mom more she probably knows a bit of japanese considering she's a linguist. "Oh come on, He's not that young aaaand I don't think were too many years apart right?" She looks at you waiting for you to respond

Once inside you notice something in the shadow but you can't quite make out the figure but whatever it is ryona sees it too and she immediately closes the basement door at the same time rukia slams her door shut. She then starts pulling her blinders down on small window in her room. "You saw it too didn't you?" she looks up at you as she grabs a bag of salt and lines the entrance to her room with it

Yeah let's go with around 7am so I suggest we wait this whole thing out and watch some trashy movies. You immediately got to work hooking your camera up to your laptop once done you slightly opened the door so you can leave your camera outside and then closing the door while monitoring outside. With that done you got to watching mamma mia with rukia and possibly apologizing to her which you did halfway through the movie. "Rukia I am really sorry about slamming the door on ryona it was just a refl-" She raises her finger to shush you. "I understand and I guess it's not really your fault since she you thought this was all hokey but I'm still mad okay. I forgive you but give me a bit to cool off okay". Your probably not gonna get answers out of her so you question the other sister the one who's nursing a very sore arm. "Are you okay do you need ice or anything?" She pats your head and smiles. "Nah I'm used to getting my arm broken, I love fighting." that took you by surprise but no you need to question her about what was going on outside. so all throughout the movie you'd ask some questions about the house and ryona will give you an answer

After the movie you check on your camera to see that a man is casually walk in and out of a room in the dark, he seems to be wearing some really dirty pajamas lots of soot. Meanwhile the sisters are debating whether or not they should put on rambo 3 or 1000 first dates. You also notice that your laptop can still connect to the internet if you can get the wifi password from rukia or ryona.

"Hey do any of you know this guy outside?" The moment you bring attention to it the man briefly turns towards your direction, not the camera but your direction as if it was looking at you through the wall. You jump back a little and looked to ryona who was generally unperturbed

"Noope and I don't wanna, also rukia you haven't told him the wifi password yet?" ryona shrugged then looked to rukia who gestured towards the door

"I couldn't! because the haunting started way earlier than expected." Rukia said as she walked over to your laptop and personally types in the password. You have put your laptop on the ground forcing rukia in a position which you can catch a glimpse of her undergarments, it was pink. You clearly look away because you don't want ryona to catch you leering.

"Also I think we should watch rambo" Ryona pumps her fist in the air upon hearing your answer and points at rukia but before she can gloat. You correct yourself "No not rambo 3 I mean rambo 4 you know the one that was just called 'rambo'." Ryona looks at you confused and checks rukia's dvd collection. "I can just stream it when rukia gets the wifi on my laptop." Ryona lets out a whistle and laid down side by side with rukia, Who opted to lay flat on her stomach in front of your laptop.

"Sweet you got netflix in this thing" Rukia lays down and well gets on netflix for you. Which you have a subscription well rather your parent's subscription anyway.

"That and paramount+ and I think a bunch of others. You know Ican kinda see why chad prefers dvds with the amount of streaming websites floating around nowadays." you go to join the sisters in watching rambo and or something else on your laptop but you stop when you hear the camera getting knocked into the door. The sisters look at the door too and there is a small pause before the camera is knocked into the door again and you hear a woman's voice come through the camera.

"Ruuuukia, Ryoooona I brought take out" the sisters check the camera feed on the laptop only to see it facing away from the corridor and into the right wall. You cannot see outside but the sister though perturbed ignore the voice and continue browsing netflix desperately trying their best to keep their mind off what happened.

Our hero hasn't met their mother (unless I've missed something), so he doesn't know what her appearance or voice sounds like. Maybe this figure is their mother, hence the similarity. And since their mother may have some mental problems, the sisters keep her locked up and only let her out for a walk sometimes. And these paranormal phenomena are just such an excuse and cut off from reality. The world is full of mentally ill people. Besides, they don't care to explain these "phenomena" and prefer to watch some movies. They're obviously trying to hide something. It's best to stick around until 7AM and then stay as far away from them as possible.

You sit next to ryona and call the cops easy enough. Rukia and ryona even look at you while doing so though ryona outs a hand on your shoulder before you do so.

Sadly you can't feel comfortable with the situation at the moment due to your suspicion off these two playing a sick game with you however your salvation comes when you notice flashing blue and red lights come from the window. You take a peek outside to see 2 cops coming and conversing with SOMEONE!?

"Ryona is there someone else in this house with us?" Ryona stands up and joins you at the window and nods.

"Yeeeep, the big guy haunting us right now. Don't worry it gets worse." The cops are let in and you hear heavy footsteps coming above you then from the direction of the stairs. There's a pause A scream, a struggle and then screaming. There's a few more screams, and a god awful squelching sound, then someone or something heavy being dragged down the stairs. You walk over to the door to take a peek to see if its safe only to find the dark and 2 silhouettes being dragged across the hall. Okay this is bad but this just means more cops will come right Someone's gotta come looking when 2 cops go missing? You then hear a set of footsteps and the cop car driving away from. You take a step back away from the door and rukia closes it for you.

"See I told you, we did this before actually its the first thing we did and next thing we know the cops went missing the next day." Ryona sits down in front of the laptop again and continued to watch rambo. "So relax watch some movies it'll passover" She seemed unbothered by the fact that 2 fucking cops just died in her house while rukia is looking down trying her best not to think about it. Jesus christ john what the fuck did you get yourself into. However just as the cop car pulls away you see the same man you saw from the bus.

"Well chad says that we can make A break for it when the walls start screaming or something loud happening so I'm going to give you guys a heads up and if you don't mind I'll be packing up my laaaptop" You reach for your laptop and ryona puts her hand on yours.

"Just let me finish okay and are you sure he's going to pull through and are you okay with risking his life?" Ryona looks you dead in the eye waiting for your response.
