With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years.

You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After defeating the Doom that had come to the Kryptonian Superman's world, Karn traveled with Ubo and his daughters to King Cold's world to finalize the truce between the Kryptonians and Cold Clan. While there, King Cold tried to aid Karn in gaining potentially another Stand, but instead hits Caulifla's Triumph, evolving and transforming it into Triumph Requiem. With this new Stand Karn took her and Okira to meet with the old man Joseph Joestar, his Stand aiding in discovering what Requiem could do before returning home. Two months of peace pass, until the day of Chaya's fateful rematch arrives. And as we rejoin Karn, she has just announced this to the family, everyone agreeing to go. Even Meloka, who doesn't usually show up for these sorts of things. Which does cause you to raise a brow.

“I'm NOT letting her go out and fight that bitch again without me watching.” your wife replies telepathically, seeing the expression on your face. “I didn't go last time, and my daughter nearly died. I'm not going to miss watching her tear that little runt's heart out.”
“So you're not worried for her this time?” you ask, genuinely curious as to Meloka's opinion on the fight.
“After how hard she's been training? If she loses this time, she deserves to.” your wife replies simply, ending the mental link. You think about it for a moment and have no choice but to agree with the thought. Damn near every single morning she's been pushing herself to match your own daily training in sixty times New Salda's gravity, on top of her other daily technique training of both the late Guardian's Su Ma technique with her siblings, and under the shade of Darth Bane as the two of you practiced your Djem So technique against one another. If, after all this work she still cannot prevail, then she was never going to win.

However, you shake off the darker thoughts, allowing your daughter's clear excitement to carry you all along from the mess hall. Telepathically you tell Raven that you all will not be stopping by this morning to train, to which she thanks you for the heads up as you head to your room, getting dressed. Not in a simple training suit, but putting on your full armor. Meloka, to your surprise does the same thing, you not having seen her wearing that in a while. She notices you looking at her, looking back over her shoulder at you.

“Just admiring the view.” you tell her to which your wife's cheeks turn a bit pink, Meloka turning back and helping your youngest son into his suit of blue, yellow and white armor as you pull your boots on. And once everyone's ready to go, you all look to find Chaya only to see she's not around. Curious, you focus more on your ki sense, and quickly find your daughter's power not far away, next to another familiar strength. But was Raditz always this strong compared to her?

“Wonder what they're talking about?” you mutter to yourself as Chaya and Raditz have their moment, but then Chaya reappears by you all. Noticeably alone, to your surprise.
“Everyone ready?” she asks excitedly, your eldest radiating confidence. “Great! Just one quick stop to make before we go, everyone hold on!”

As she raises her fingertips to her forehead, you're curious what she means. But then as she uses Instant Transmission to teleport all of you elsewhere, immediately you know what she meant. As you find yourselves outside Chilli's home, your eldest-born son standing there with his wife and daughter. Who is immediately excited to see you.

“Grandpa! Grandpa!!” she shouts, launching herself out of Megumin's arms directly at your chest. Surprising you, being no stranger to projectile children easily catch her without letting her hurt herself.
“Hey there kiddo. You been behaving for your parents?” you ask, your granddaughter nodding her head enthusiastically.
“Yes I have. I even brushed my own tooth!” she says excitedly, grinning and showing off her single fang tooth on her top left side. “See?”
“Well well, look at you.” you say, doting a bit on the little girl as she grins, making sure her tooth sticks out over her gums to show it off. “Ready to watch your auntie Chaya?”
“Yeah! Auntie Chaya!” she shouts excitedly, looking around to find your daughter and launch herself at her as well. You chuckle, sharing a knowing nod with your eldest-born son as everyone takes a few moments to catch up. But then Chaya's scouter dings, her expression growing more serious.

“Alright, it's go time. Everyone hold on, this jump is quite a ways away.” Chaya says, raising her right to her forehead. Looks like the rematch is really about to start.

“Jump?” your daughter asks, looking from your older sister to you.
“Hold on tight.” you tell her, putting one hand on her shoulder. “We're gonna teleport, so hang on to me.”
“OKAY!” she replies, wrapping her arms around your left arm and squeezing tight. You feel her cut off circulation in your arm, patting her head with your free hand before taking your wife's. She places her other hand on your mother's arm, everyone holding onto someone else as your sister prepares herself. Then, after a few moments, the world around you all changes. One moment you are all standing outside your home, the next find yourself in some sort of spaceship. Or, more specifically, a ship's hangar.

“Ah, there you are.” the formerly undefeated champion of Dreadzone Soba says, the Yardratian looking more dressed up than you've seen him before. “And the family as well, great. Your ships are both ready.”
“Both?” your father asks him, to which Soba gestures to a very modern-seeming craft.
“This dropship will be where you all will watch the battle from, if you want to head down planet side.” Soba says, then gestures to a ship of a design you've never seen before. It is a cylindrical tube of a craft, with a pair of wide wings out each side in the middle, and far smaller ones at the tail end along with an upright wing for some reason. “And your craft, Chaya. This one will be yours.”

“This the transport getting shot down?” she asks, you seeing your father's brow raise in concern.
“Bingo. Your 'teammates' are already inside waiting for you.” he replies, your own brows furrowing a bit. You focus your ki sense, but don't sense anyone living inside. More robots, perhaps?
“Hold on. Shot down?” Karn asks, his worry apparent. But Chaya steps forward, standing confidently.
“Don't worry, it's just part of the show before the fighting really starts.” she says casually. “That's how I'm getting to the battlefield, this ship'll get shot down. My first mission in the fight before getting my hands on Tanya is defending the wreckage for a certain amount of time. Then the battle will really heat up.”

“Are you gonna win this time?” Okira asks her innocently. And for a moment, a singular second, you can see rage unlike anything you've seen from her before burning in her eyes. A fury not unlike your father's terrible anger burning behind her eyes. And you don't even have to hear her say it to know that your sister won't stop gunning for Tanya until at least one of them is dead.
“Don't worry, I won't lose.” Chaya says, purposefully softening her voice. But you can hear the hard edge to it, can feel her anger bubbling beneath the surface. “She won't beat me. Ever again.”

“Good luck Auntie Chaya!” your daughter calls out to her, letting go of your arm with one hand to wave her way. “You can do it!”
“That's right, I'm gonna win today.” your sister tells her, looking back and waving once before boarding her craft. You all board the landing craft, getting aboard and settling in. You sit beside your wife and father, mother to his other side as your daughter bounces up and down excitedly in your lap. But then she starts squirming, you letting her get out of your lap and to the floor of the rather comfortable viewing area. Where she surprises her grandparents, standing up and walking around on her own. If a bit unsteadily.

“Well well, look at you.” your father tells her with a smile on his face, but you can still tell he's clearly a little worried. And after the condition your sister was left in last time she fought Tanya, you can't blame him. With your own daughter smiling up at you all, you can't imagine how hard it would be to see her in the same sort of shape Chaya was in. Or how you would be able to restrain yourself from murdering whoever did that to her. “Walking already, huh?”
“Not just walking, look!” your daughter exclaims, clenching her fists as she focuses. Your old man watches curiously as he no doubt feels your daughter powering up, then after a few seconds starts levitating! “See? I can fly too! Just like Daddy!”

“Hahaha well, look at that!” he says, reaching out and grabbing her as she starts dropping a bit. “Look at you!”
“See? Isn't that cool?” she asks him, to which he smiles and nods. Your daughter squeals happily at his praise, burying her face in his shoulder as he holds her. He then looks to you, smile not fading as he reaches out to both you and Megumin telepathically.
“She's growing up fast.” he comments, your wife answering first.
“She gets that from her Crimson Demon side, for sure.” Megumin answers aloud rather proudly. “Our species become independent far quicker than other humanoids, at least as far as we've encountered. At eight months she took her first steps on her own.”

“Well, isn't that something.” he says, but as you see your sister's craft on the screen approaching the battlefield now feel your mood change. And so you ask him, telepathically.
“Do you think she can do it?” you think to your old man, sensing him immediately understand your worry. “Can she really win this time?”

“I do believe so. She's really come a long way since her last loss.” your old man thinks to you seriously. “If she fights like a Saiyan, if she stays focused on her goal, she'll win. But that doesn't mean Tanya will make it easy for her.”
“Yeah, I have a feeling they're both going to be going all out.” you reply as the screen overhead activates, playing the introduction of the match over a panning shot of what looks like an active warzone!

“Gooooooood evening Dreadzone fans, and welcome to another incredible, exciting episode of Dreadzone!” Dallas, the green-skinned announcer shouts into his microphone over the sounds of battle below them. “Today is the day everyone and their grandmother has been waiting for, the long-anticipated rematch between the former champion Chaya and our current champion, Tanya!”
“That's right Dallas, today's events are promising to be one of the most memorable Dreadzone championship matches ever.” Dallas's robotic co-host Juanita declares, even sounding genuinely excited for once. “Today we're flying high above an active warzone on our current Champion's homeworld, where the two of them will be throwing down. And here's our challenger now, coming in to make her-”

KABOOOOM[/B]

Juanita's speech is interrupted as the ship carrying your sister gets shot down, a beam of golden energy from the opposite end of the battlefield your sister's approaching from fires out and cuts the ship's wing clean off. Immediately your sister's ship starts dropping like a rock, crashing down in the no man's land between the opposing armies.

“Well, looks like she's not going to be getting her usual entrance into the battlefield, but I'm sure-” Dallas starts, when the craft laying on the ground suddenly explodes! The metal craft is consumed by a massive explosion, the fireball's shock wave slamming into the camera and knocking it off target for a moment.
“Auntie Chaya!?” your daughter shouts in shock, her little eyes going even wider than usual as she stares at the screen. She then whips her head around to you, looking frightened. “Daddy! Is she okay?”
“She's fine, just watch.” you tell her, and sure enough after a few moments you can see your sister emerging from the burning wreckage just fine. The camera zooms in, you all seeing her dragging out a pair of mechanical bodies, two more following her out and still moving under their own power. But you can't focus on them, eyes fixated on how serious your older sister looks. She then clenches her fists, screaming as she begins powering up!

“HRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, ascending immediately into that divine form of hers. Which catches you by surprise, you'd have thought that she would try and conserve her power for the real fight at the end. Yet immediately once she transforms, you watch as she turns, swinging and firing a powerful Ki Punch Blast out towards the 'enemy' forces before kicking off the ground, taking to the air. Which is an immediate mistake, as more than a dozen crimson beams of energy are fired her way. Chaya dodges most of them, managing to catch a pair with her bare hands a moment before the beams fade away. But then a large shell, easily the size of her torso drops past her.

“SHIT!” you can see her mouth, unable to hear her over the carnage as she drops down, getting between the four machine soldiers and actually catching the massive shell. But as she does, it explodes right in her face, knocking her down to the ground beside the downed fighters.
“Oh no!” your daughter shouts, raising her hands in worry. “Auntie Chaya got hit!”
“A little explosion like that is nothing.” Okira tells her confidently, your youngest sister one of Chaya's biggest fans. “She's fine, it's gonna take a lot more than that to stop her!”

“Really?” your daughter asks excitedly, eyes sparkling as she turns back to the fight unfolding. You watch as she's forced to not go wildly on the attack, instead forced to defend the four 'living' allies from a relentless assault as they take fire and artillery bombardment from both sides. Yet your sister proves her worth, shooting down the artillery shells while dodging most of the energy beams, you actually watch as one shoots the stump of her tail. Causing her to clearly wince in pain, whirling towards the source and throwing a hand out. And then, to your surprise, the oddest thing happens. As the ultra high-definition screen and Vox's most advanced cameras show, it almost looks like your daughter throws something. The air ripples as the unseen attack travels through the air, energy beams striking that force are deflected, their beams bending out in all directions except towards Chaya as it carves a ditch through the ground. Then the unseen attack slams into the machine soldiers firing at her like she threw a wall at them. Smashing through the trenches and crushing the bodies against the fortifications or their fellow soldiers behind them. “WOAH!!”

“Not bad.” you hear your old man mutter, glancing to him and seeing that he's staring intently at the screen. If he were focusing any harder, he'd be firing those Eye Beams of his straight through it. Which makes you wonder, for a moment, if Vox has already taken precautions for that with his tech?

But you don't have long to wonder, as suddenly a vehicle with heavy tracks breaks out through the line on the side she'd emerged from, the squat vehicle with the large barrel firing a shell large as your sister's head at the enemy forces as it advances towards her. Then you see a much smaller vehicle, one without armor and a canvas-seeming top following behind, realizing that the half-track half-wheeled vehicle must be a ground troop transport, meant to get your daughter's team out of the conflict. Seeing this she immediately crosses her arms, pulling off the Multiform technique!!

“Woah, now there's TWO aunties?!” Meloka Wolbach calls out in shock, your daughter turning to you looking starstruck. “Can I do that too? Can I me two mes?”
“When you're older, if you still want to learn I'll teach you.” you tell her, the answer satisfying her enough that she turns back to the screen. Your sisters split up, one Chaya defending the transport while the other escorts the four soldiers to the craft, getting them all inside before recombining herself back into one being. Then she escorts her allies back behind the friendly lines, disappearing into the ranks of one side.

“And just like that, after a grueling ten minutes of intense combat, Chaya has overcome the first challenge and successfully escaped being trapped in no man's land!” Dallas declares, the sound of an audience somewhere cheering. Perhaps back at the station, watching on the screens in the arenas? “When we return, she'll be leading a daring charge back across towards enemy lines, but how will she fare? Stay tuned, as we'll be right back after a message from these sponsors!”

The screen then changes, going into some sort of advertisement as your sister gets to take a break. No doubt already feeling the strain of using that form for so long.

But what do you do?

“Nice job so far sis.” you think to Chaya, feeling everyone else congratulating her as well. And to your surprise, she's somehow able to address each of you individually, you not hearing what she thinks to the others as she replies.
“Thanks. Honestly, was expecting more.” she replies, turning her attention from you to the others she answers as well before returning to you. “She's got something else up her sleeve, I know it.”
“No doubt. But if this was her opening salvo to try and wear you down, she'll have to be saving something big.” you answer her. “Either that, or she's severely underestimated you.”

“No, she wouldn't do that.” your sister replies immediately. “If there's one thing she won't do, that's underestimate me. She spent years planning on dethroning me the first time, there's no way in hell she half-assed this attempt.”
“Play it smart and keep your guard up.” you reply to her. “You've got this.”
“Appreciate it Chi.” she replies, then after a moment's pause addresses all of you simultaneously. “Time to go.”

She then cuts the mental link with all of you, the screen changing and coming back to the show. The opening sound plays, bringing back the two announcers over the battlefield. They explain how the second phase will go, how Chaya will have to lead an infantry charge directly into the enemy's front lines. A suicide mission, for the normal soldiers. But one you know she'll have no difficulty with. And sure enough, as the camera pans to your sister, you see her raising the giant two-handed greatsword you'd repaired for her, screaming out a battle cry as she takes off at a light jog. And behind her more than a thousand mechanical soldiers follow in close behind, your sister slowing her pace so she doesn't leave them in the dust. Something your daughter immediately picks up on, turning to you.

“Daddy. Why is Auntie Chaya going so slow?” she asks, sounding worried. “Is she hurt?”
“No no, she's keeping up with her soldiers.” you tell her, pointing to the screen as Chaya whips the sword back and forth, deflecting laser fire that would have hit the soldiers directly to her sides and behind her. “That way she can protect them too.”
“Ooooooh, I get it!” Meloka Wolbach answers, holding her arms up as if holding an imaginary sword. But after a couple of swings she frowns, looking from the screen to her hands. And then, as her crimson eyes start glowing, you sense her latent magical power stirring.

“Crystal Magic Sword!” your daughter shouts, her magical energy blazing up into her hands and solidifying into a solid magical weapon. To your and everyone else's surprise, she's never used your crystal magic in that way before.
“Woah! No way!” Okira, shouts in surprise, your daughter's power drawing her eyes from the fight going on on-screen. “That's so cool!”
“Its just like my Daddy's magic swords.” she replies, Okira glancing aside at nothing then nodding to it. She then copies her niece's stance, and in a different voice speaks. “AN IDENTICAL SWORD TO MELOKA WOLBACH'S APPEARS IN OKIRA'S HANDS.”

Then, just as she said, an exactly identical blade appears in your sister's hands. Which shocks you even more, your daughter's eyes widening in surprise. Your other siblings don't react to how her voice changed, Broly not even looking away from the screen as Chaya throws out a hand skyward, somehow detonating dozens of artillery rounds before they reach her soldiers behind her.

“This is so cool.” Okira says, raising the weapon up defensively. “Come on, show me what you've got!”
“No no, don't start fighting you two.” Megumin says, both young girls turning to your wife at her command. “We can do that later, for now let's see how Chaya's fight goes.”
“Oh, yeah!” your daughter says, letting the weapon fade as she turns her attention back to the screen. Okira looks down at the weapon still in her hands, it not disappearing so she simply lays it down on one of the room's tables before returning her focus to the screen as well. Where Chaya's now made it to the enemy lines, swinging that heavy sword as if it were no heavier than a twig. Her magical blade smashes through mechanical soldiers as her remaining allies, who went from numbering a thousand to less than thirty, dive into the trench after her. “Go Auntie Chaya, go! GO!!”

Chaya cuts through these advanced robots with ease, moving fast enough that they look like they're standing still in comparison. She and her soldiers spread out through the first level of trenches, your sister making her way towards an armored bunker from which rapid firing lasers blasting towards Chaya's 'side' of the battlefield is shooting. Soldiers pour out of the reinforced fortification, taking a double-stacked formation with all their weapons at the ready. But that's not all. From somewhere down on the battlefield, you suddenly sense a massive surge of magical power. Glancing over to Megumin, you can see the worry on her face that tells you all you need to know. Something big is about to happen, that surge of magic coming from somewhere near your sister.

“Are you going to tell her?” your wife asks, you shaking your head.
“Not yet. Not until I identify what that surge is.” you say, closing your eyes as you focus. Drawing your mind planetside you shut out your other senses, focusing exclusively on your magic sense. You can feel that magic below swelling, growing and expanding rapidly. If you can't figure it out in a matter of seconds, whatever magical trap Tanya's prepared will catch your sister. You peer into that swelling magical pool, the energy rapidly expanding. But as you focus on it, suddenly you understand what it is. And what's about to happen to your sister.

“Chaya, get clear right now!” you immediately shout to her telepathically. “That bunker's about to blow!”
“SHIT!” she shouts aloud, leaping back away from the bunker on screen, firing a barrage of ki blasts from her feet at the soldiers as she slams into her own soldiers. Driving them all back and away from the bunker. Several are blown apart from her force while the blasts tear through the enemy soldiers, traveling past the firing squad and into the bunker itself. Which suddenly detonates in a massive, fiery explosion.

“WOOOAAAAH!!” Meloka Wolbach shouts out in surprise, flinching back away from the screen as the explosion consumes the camera near your sister. “Oh no, Auntie Chaya!”
“Don't worry, big sis is fine!” Okira says confidently, turning from the screen and putting her hands on her younger kin's shoulders. “Chaya won't lose to some measly explosion. She's tanked much bigger blasts like that.”
“She can beat Explosion?” Meloka Wolbach asks, turning and looking to your wife. “Like your Explosion Momma?”
“That's right. Your auntie and I once fought in that arena, years ago.” Megumin says, sounding a bit nostalgic. “But even back then, she was stronger than me. She even overpowered my Explosion.”

“Wooooooaaaaaaaah. No waaaay!” she says excitedly, turning right back to the screen as it changes to another camera, showing Chaya standing once more outside the wreckage of the bunker. Your sister then rushes into the ruins, swinging her arm and blowing out the fire.
“C'mon, everyone inside!” Chaya shouts to her remaining dozen soldiers, who all file in. Except for the last one, who gets shot in the head which explodes it. “Tch!”
“And with that Chaya has secured the second objective!” Dallas calls, the camera changing to the announcer booth view as your sister takes cover in the ruined building. “Now that she and the infiltration team have penetrated enemy lines, now the REAL mission can begin!”

“That's right Dallas. Now that Chaya and her team have captured a bunker with access to the tunnel network, their new objective is to infiltrate the enemy headquarters and take down the enemy field commander!” Juanita says, you feeling your own eyes widening in surprise. “Now, let's get back to our champion contender and see how she's doing.”
“Dammit.” Chaya snarls, you seeing that she's confronted with a wall of rubble between herself and the tunnel entrance.
“Ooooh, that's unfortunate. It seems that Chaya's entrance is blocked, and will have to fight her way-” Dallas says, when he's suddenly interrupted by Chaya's sudden shout.

“HAAAAAAA!!” she roars, throwing both hands out then raising both up vertically. And the rubble blocking the tunnel entrance is jerked from the hole, flying up into the air. “Move, move!!”
“Yes Ma'am!” the remaining soldiers all shout with a salute before diving down into the tunnel entrance. Chaya is the last one in, swinging her magical blade into the ceiling behind her. Cutting through the reinforced material, causing the tunnel to collapse behind herself.

“Hey, why did she do that?” your daughter asks, turning around to you confused. “Why did she seal it up? She just opened it up.”

Well? What do you tell her?
>Explain that she's keeping herself from getting surrounded, if she didn't block it up more enemies could then come at her from behind, trapping her between the enemy
>Tell her that she's just being cautious, don't try and explain the strategy to your daughter. Not yet anyways, you'll be able to go more in depth to everything once you all are back home

You're about to answer her immediately, to tell her that Chaya's planning ahead, when you stop and think. She's not an adult yet, but her thinking process is more than a decade ahead of your own at that age. Which she no doubt got from her mother, the Crimson Demons were apparently designed to be highly intelligent. So, instead of telling her, you decide to instead ASK her.

“That's a good question kiddo. Why would she?” you ask her, your daughter looking to you in confusion. “Think hard about it, why do you think she would go out of her way to close that tunnel behind her?”
“Hrmmmm.” your daughter mutters to herself, hand to her chin as she ponders. “Why would Auntie Chaya close it? It's her way back out, if its closed she can't just...Wait! Auntie Chaya CAN get back out through it, even if its closed! But why close it?”

She thinks in silence a bit as Chaya and her robot team travel through the tunnels, fighting their way through the single lane until the tunnel comes to a 'Y' fork. Your sister raises her hand to her scouter, no doubt listening to Soba's voice in her ear before directing her team down the left path. But before she goes with them, she uses her telekinesis to pull the metal wall panels apart, bending them back to obstruct the other path. Meloka Wolbach watches her do this, eyes lighting up as she suddenly gets it! Your daughter turns, shouting excitedly.

“It's so she won't get surrounded!” your daughter exclaims, Okira, Karn Jr, and the younger twins Maz and Kayle all turning to her in confusion. “She shut off the other paths so the bad guys can't attack her from both sides!”
“Very observant, that's exactly right.” you say, reaching out and ruffling your beaming daughter's hair in praise. “I knew you could figure it out kiddo.”
“That's really smart. I didn't think about that.” Kayle says. Despite their eight year age gap, by your reckoning, your daughter's Crimson Demon intelligence is really showing.
“Me neither. Good goin' little sis. Wait, not sis. N...Niece, that's it.” Maz says, stumbling a bit to think of the right word. You can't blame him though, as you do have a lot of siblings. Calling someone related to you brother or sister is almost second nature to you.

But as Chaya's forces continue through the tunnel, suddenly it comes to a four way intersection at the crest of a short incline. Directly across from your sister is a heavily fortified position, two twin mounted guns pointing directly at her!

“HAAAA!!” your sister snarls, throwing another invisible wall of force forward at the defensive position. The impact is tremendous, the barrier shattering and pieces flying back as if your old man had slammed into it with his shoulder at full power. Leaving you wondering how in the world is she doing that? It isn't telekinesis, as that's a more focused application. And it isn't the sorts of shock wave punches thrown by air pressure from a hyper-fast punch. You'll have to ask her about it once this battle's all done. But done she is not, then creating an orb of ki in her hands, then launching it out into the intersection. And not a second later it gets lit up by a hailstorm of bullets from the left side, your sister directing the blast that way. Where it strikes something and explodes, Chaya sending two of her soldiers out guns ready, one examining the remains through the smoke pouring out into the middle while the other looks to the right.

“All clear.” the left-facing one says, followed shortly by the other. The two drop their ready stances, everyone else joining as they head down the right side path. Which goes in a straight line, reaching to a reinforced bunker door and an oddly placed machine on the ground that lights up with the Dreadzone symbol.
“Everyone who needs to, reload here.” Chaya directs them as the screen fades out, returning once more to the announcers.
“And just like that, our former champion Chaya has breezed through another challenge!” Dallas shouts, the audience's roars coming through even louder now. Your daughter, as well as your younger siblings all cheer at this, the announcers taking it out to another commercial break. And as it starts, your daughter turns to you and your wife, stars in her eyes.

“When I grow up, I wanna be a gladiator too! Just like Auntie Chaya!” your daughter declares, you feeling Megumin stiffen immediately as she takes a sharp inhale. No doubt remembering her time as a CAPTIVE of Vox, before your sister freed her.

Well? What do you tell her?
>Tell her that if she wants to be a fighter that it's a lot of hard work every single day, training much harder than you make her do to control her powers
>Let her know that going to Dreadzone is something you would rather she not do, but if she does still want to when she's a grown up, you'll support her
>Tell your daughter in no uncertain terms that you will not allow her to work for Vox, not as long as you have any say

You have your own ideas about what she should or shouldn't do as she grows up, but having a good sense for what your wife can get heated about, decide to let her handle this herself and instead back her up. You have a feeling you know how she's going to react, readying yourself to calm the situation down.

“No. Absolutely not.” your wife tells her angrily, half getting up out of her seat as her eyes blaze. But you also see worry and fear there in her eyes, no doubt not only seeing the present. “I won't let that bastard Vox take you away as one of his slaves, not on my life.”
“Slaves?” your daughter asks, her expression immediately changing. “Does that mean Auntie Chaya's a slave too?”
“Not quite. Your auntie's in a bit of a... Let's say different situation than most of the people that work for Vox.” you tell her seriously. “Most of the other gladiators don't decide to join in. They're captured from their planets and forced to fight for their lives. Just like your momma was.”
“You were captured?” she asks, eyes going wide as she looks to her mother. “How? Your Explosions are super duper amazing! No bad guys could stop it.”

“No they couldn't. But when I was younger, I could only use my Explosion at full power once a day.” your wife tells her seriously, relaxing back into her seat with a sigh. “Then, once I was powerless, it was easy for Vox's 'Talent Acquision and Signing Krew', or TASK to capture me and throw one of those bomb collars on me. I had to do what I was told, or my head would explode.”
“Explode?” she asks, your daughter looking up at her mother and seeming genuinely scared. “I don't want momma to explode!”

And rushes to your wife, slowing herself at the last second as she remembers she's strong enough to hurt her mother if she's not careful. A lesson you'd been drilling into her for the past few months, after what happened. Your wife comforts her, showing that she no longer has one of those collars on and reassuring your daughter before the advertisements end, the next phase of Chaya's battle starting.

“And we're back Dreadzone fans! You're just in time, as Chaya is about to break through the heavily-reinforced security door!” Dallas declares. “Let's see just how she handles it.”
“Stand back, all of you and ready your weapons.” your sister tells her remaining eleven mechanical soldiers, slamming her sword point-first down into the ground to her left while drawing back both hands by her right side. For a moment you think she's going to use the Time Patrol technique Cell knows, the Kamehameha. But instead she's using something different. The space between her hands is filled with something that isn't ki, but is clearly distorting the light that comes through. You wonder just what she could be planning, but aren't left wondering for long.

Anyways:

“HAAAAAA!!” your sister roars, thrusting her hands out and somehow throwing a wave of what seems to just be raw kinetic energy forward, the force slamming into the reinforced doorway. SHATTERING the metal door, blasting in into chunks no bigger than your fist. The metal shrapnel fills the room beyond, destroying somewhere between three and four dozen mechanical soldiers instantly. A few near the far side of the room are spared, those in front of them absorbing the shrapnel but are instead plastered to the far wall from the rapidly-fading wave of force. Chaya's soldiers all immediately open fire on the still-functional machines, wiping the last few out before she's even reclaimed her sword from the ground. “Good, let's keep moving.”

“Yes Ma'am!” they salute, your sister leading them deeper into the complex. Her attack ended at the far wall, however the doorway is instead on the left wall. Not another super heavily-reinforced behemoth like the last, Chaya not going for anything dramatic this time and simply kicking it down. Or, more accurately, kicking it INTO the far room, smashing into another pair of robot soldiers dressed similarly to Tanya herself when not in combat. She charges headfirst into this room as well, ordering her soldiers to 'not let any escape' while she carves a path of destruction with her blade. And its here that you notice something's different with her fighting style.

For years you've grown used to seeing her either using the Su Ma, or her more flashy, 'for the cameras' variant she'd been using. But now, as she holds the sword with both hands and uses devastating, single attacks to cut down multiple enemies with each swing, you barely recognize her. In fact, her sword style seems much more like your father's, you glancing over to him. Only to see him smirking as she fights, nodding slightly as she uses his more powerful, crushing blows of the style he learned from the shade residing in that Holocron he has. You can't deny it's a ruthlessly effective technique, but while watching her can't help but think it was originally designed with a club and not any sort of sword.

“That's your technique.” you say, your old man glancing to you and nodding with a small smile.
“She does it justice.” he replies, turning his gaze back to his daughter's fighting. “She's learned it well. But....”
“But what?” you ask, sensing something bothering him. “Dad, what's going on?”
“There's something....More. More than the Djem So going on.” he says, sounding a little worried even. “Her technique feels somehow...Familiar. But I can't quite place it. I should recognize what she's doing, I know it. But....”

You leave your old man to his thoughts, knowing that asking him dozens of questions will only slow his own thought process. So, you return your gaze to your daughter, who is again enraptured by her aunt's fighting, you following her gaze to watch Chaya rushing through room after room, pushing through a dozen rooms full of guards before kicking down the final door. Entering into what seems to be a rather large arena, a giant machine standing opposite her.

“Waaah haa haaa haaaa! We meet again, Chaya!” the giant green machine shouts, somehow smoking a cigar while holding a cannon whose barrel is larger than your sister is tall. “But this time, I shall be the victor!”
“Heh, you really think so?” she replies, then in a sharp tone. “Boys, guard the doorway and don't let anyone in. Shellshock's mine.”
“MA'AM!” they shout, rushing back down into the previous room as your sister walks forward confidently.

“Been looking forward to kicking yer ass again as well.” Chaya says, holding her sword beside herself with telekinesis as she cracks her knuckles and neck, radiating with confidence. And something a little darker underneath the surface as well. “But I'm generous. You get one chance to split, before I make this painful.”
“WAAAAAAH HAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAAA!! I wouldn't miss this fight for anything!” Shellshock declares, leveling his giant pistol at Chaya as she retakes her sword, taking that high guard stance with the weapon raised overhead nearly parallel to the ground. “Let's dance!”

>I just wish she would have asked us about it first given how we've been riding the thin line between controlled rage and mindless frenzy for years.
I think you’re thinking that she’s just using Juyo. But that’s not what’s happening here. She’s learned quite a lot from Bane over the years, including a special technique that works on beings who’re at least as human as androids. Because Androids, as Vegeta proved CAN feel fear. But she’s not using that either, strictly speaking. For now, let’s just say she’s developed something specific to her own unique circumstances.

“Shellshock? Does Auntie Chaya know him?” your daughter asks her mother, turning and looking back at her face. “Do you know him?”
“Yes, he was an Exterminator back while I was still there. But your aunt beat him handily before.” your wife replies, brows furrowing a bit. “Why would he be brought back? I'd thought he'd been decommissioned from fighting.”
“He received upgrades since then, Vox bringing him back due to popularity.” Broly, who had been silent up to this point speaks out. “Last time he was upgraded and she fought, Chaya went right into a healing pod for ten hours after the fight. Dr. White said that she was less than a minute from passing out due to the blood loss.”

“He does look to be quite a formidable machine of war.” Kori says, grabbing her armor by the front and pulling it out. Looking rather suggestively towards your older brother, blushing slightly. “All this tension's really getting me heated up, my armor's starting to feel stuffy."

“Is Auntie Chaya gonna lose?” your daughter asks him, but Broly doesn't answer. Eyes fixated on the screen, trying to portray a blank mask. But you can tell he's worried despite Kori's teasing, and can't blame him. There's no way this war machine wasn't upgraded even further since that battle. But your daughter's question to you shocks you back out of your thoughts and to the present, focusing on her as your sister and the giant war machine stare each other down, waiting for the other to make the first move. “Daddy. Is Auntie Chaya gonna lose?”

Well? How do you answer that?

I think we can curb a lot of potential issues by requisitioning a reinforced gravity chamber and sending it over to Chilli's house. The problem then is getting power to it, but I think Chilli's smart enough to do that.

“Do you think she's going to, kiddo?” you ask her, your daughter bringing a hand to her chin and pursing her lips to the side, your wife actually giggling at this. You glance to her, seeing her looking to you before she telepathically says.
“She's copying you.” your wife tells you, to which you raise a brow. “That's how you look sometimes, up in your study.”
“Oh.” is all you can say, your daughter having turned back to the screen as the two warriors clash. Shellshock makes the first move, firing a swarm of rockets from his shoulder-mounted cannons while taking aim with his massive gun. Your sister wastes no time, however, throwing her sword directly into his hand cannon! Causing it to explode as he pulls the trigger, blowing off the warbot's hand.

“GAAAAAH!!” he snarls, recoiling from the blast as Chaya lunges. Before Shellshock knows what's happening your sister's right foot is planted square in the giant machine's chest. Caught by complete surprise, the heavy blow sends the warbot flying backwards, slamming back-first into the arena's far wall with a crash. “Gyuuh!”
“Woah! Auntie Chaya's too fast, she's not gonna lose!” Meloka Wolbach says, eyes gleaming as she glances back to you.
“She shouldn't. But it isn't over yet.” you tell her, your daughter nodding and turning back to the fight as Chaya reaches out a hand, drawing her somehow-undamaged sword from the remains of Shellshock's gun to her right hand.
“I'll make this quick.” Chaya says, your sister raising her left hand towards the machine. Then from her fingertips explodes a storm of lightning!

“WOOOOOAAAAAH!!” your daughter shouts in surprise, you hearing nearly everyone start at the sudden display of power. As she unleashes the storm from her fingertips Shellshock's body begins uncontrollably writhing, causing certain parts of him to catch fire while other parts, notably some of what seem to be heavier armor plates, break off and fall to the ground. His voicebox breaks with a metallic screech, eyes bursting as the bulbs explode. His entire body begins getting heated up by the storm of power, some of his thinner metal pieces starting to glow faintly from the heat. But then, suddenly, Shellshock's entire body explodes! The screen goes blinding white a moment before the camera's feed goes black, the view switching to an overhead shot. Where everything appears peaceful, until suddenly there is a tremendous explosion. The ground is blasted away as the robot's destruction blasts a hole straight to the surface, consuming several heavy-seeming weapons with barrels longer than Shellshock was tall. “Oh no! Auntie Chaya?! Auntie Chaya!!”

“She detonated his explosives.” Broly says into the shocked silence.
“No. She triggered his self-destruct.” Megumin corrects, everyone turning to her. “Every Dreadzone machine is equipped with a self-destruct, to prevent anyone else from getting a hold of his tech and copying it. That lightning storm probably set it off.”
“Kiddo...” you hear your father mutter, which makes your blood run a bit cold at the worry in his voice. Immediately you focus your ki sense, but after a panicked moment's effort sigh out in relief. You can still sense her power.

“WOAH! Looks like Chaya really set Shellshock off!” Dallas shouts, half-jokingly into his microphone. But you can hear the note of worry in his tone, as he's not sure if she survived or not. But then suddenly the smoke is blown away, the familiar blue and gold aura blazing from the bottom of the newly-made crater. “And she survived the blast! Leave it to the former champion to tank a hit like that to the face and remain standing!”
“She's okay!” your daughter shouts, but then you can immediately see her expression change as you all see it. “Oh no! Auntie!”
“Ooooh, but it looks like she didn't escape unscathed!” Dallas shouts, you all clearly seeing two large, mangled scraps of metal sticking out of your bloody and battered sister. One got her straight through the guts, piercing clean through her armor and body, poking clear out of her back. And the other got her through the left shoulder, that arm hanging limply by her side. Blood covers half of her face, no doubt from a scalp wound from another piece of Shellshock from the explosion. Chaya drops her sword point-first into the ground, the tip sinking maybe a foot into the rubble as she grabs the one piercing her shoulder, wrenching it free in a spray of blood. “Glurk! I-I think I'm gonna be sick!”

“Battered and wounded, our former champion isn't giving up yet.” Juanita says, taking over as her cohost can be heard hurling faintly in the background. Chaya drops the mangled metal and turns her focus to the one in her guts, also wrenching it free with both hands. But then she looks up, finds a camera and with a 'come here' motion seemingly somehow pulls the camera to her. As it lands in her outstretched right hand the view changes to that camera, Chaya addressing everyone directly.
“This isn't over. But I need your help everyone.” your sister says, the room around you deathly silent as Chaya speaks. She looks rough, if she weren't of your father's blood you doubt she'd even be standing right now. “I need you to all believe in me. Believe that these injuries are nothing, that I can keep fighting until I win this whole thing. Just believe, and I WILL beat Tanya!”

“Chaya...” Karn mutters, but to your surprise Caulifla suddenly rises to her feet.
“I believe!” she declares boldly, her Stand rising a moment later.
“I believe as well.” Triumph Requiem says, the younger twins and Okira also doing the same. “I believe”s ring out in the room, and as your sister releases the camera and let it start floating back the most unbelievable thing starts happening. Chaya closes her eyes, taking a deep breath as, before your eyes, her injuries all begin healing themselves!

“What?” you hear your mother exclaim, shocked as right before you all the injuries seal themselves up, leaving her only covered in blood as her aura blazes brighter and brighter. “What's going on?”
“That's faith.” Caulifla says, looking not at her sister but at the chime in her hands. “Belief. What we're witnessing is a true miracle.”

And sure enough you can see your sister's strength returning through the video, grabbing her sword and resting it on her right shoulder. But as she does, suddenly soldiers and tanks appear over the crest of the crater, weapons all pointed down at Chaya. To which she smirks, planting her feet and raising the sword overhead in her Djem So's ready stance.

“I won't lose!” she declares, divine aura blazing up even higher around her as her stump of a tail twitches excitedly. But then you fell it. Another surge of magical power, far greater than the last one. But something's different. It doesn't feel like normal magic, rather, it feels like something you've only felt a few times. But once in particular, when you fought that cowardly deity hiding inside that golden helmet. Divine Magic, and a LOT of it is gathering down there on the planet below. And there can only be one source

“Chaya, you've gotta move, NOW!” you telepathically shout to your sister. “Tanya's gathering a massive amount of divine magic somewhere down there.”
“Dammit, of course she is.” your sister thinks back quickly before ending the mental link, you watching as she suddenly lunges forward on the screen. You watch as she dashes to one of the large tanks, swinging her sword down and cleaving it as she surges seemingly THROUGH the machine. Only for it to fall in two halves behind her. Several of the soldiers all begin firing at your sister, Chaya weaving through and deflecting the blasts with her sword as she looks around wildly. No doubt searching for Tanya as she moves, cutting her way through the enemy forces with ease. You can feel the divine magic surging from somewhere on the planet below, feeling it rising higher and higher. Whatever Tanya's about to do, its about to happen.

“Go sis go! Go!” Okira calls out, cheering her older sister on. But then, the camera's angle changes. You see the warrior Tanya hovering somewhere in the air, holding a rifle nearly twice her own height and pointing it down at the planet below, four distinct magical circles appearing behind her. “Uh oh, there she is!”
“By my hand the false gods shall all fall.” Tanya mutters to herself, golden energy blazing as you can feel her divine magic surging. A rainbow aurora burns down the length of her weapon, then as it reaches the end of her weapon the camera changes once more. Taking a far off shot, you not seeing either your sister or her opponent. You do see the crater down below on the planet, when suddenly from the heavens a massive beam fires down at the planet The golden beam resembles the Covenant's glassing cannon, the laser slamming down onto the ground near where your sister was.

“Auntie Chaya!!” your daughter shouts, worry clear in her voice.
“Big sis!” Okira yells, also clearly worried. The beam continues for nearly a dozen seconds before ending, fading away as the camera again changes to Tanya.
“Hmph. I figured she would have at least tried to dodge.” Tanya says, dropping the now-ruined weapon. You see as it falls that the barrel itself was blown apart, you realizing that it was a preemptive, single-shot attack meant to weaken your sister even further before their final duel. “Is she so arrogant as to think- TCH!!”

Your sister interrupts her monologue, the massive sword flying straight at Tanya like a javelin. The smaller woman narrowly avoids getting impaled by the sword, turning to look at it a moment. Which is the moment Chaya needed, suddenly just appearing beside Tanya. Reminding you that you do need to take your family to Yardrat for a time now that Meloka Wolbach's old enough to get this specialized training yourself. Instant Transmission is such a scary technique and is the least of what the Yardratian Spirit Control technique can do.

“Heh, not bad. On three?” Chaya asks with a smirk, the smaller woman nodding ever so slightly. “One. Two. THREE!”

And on three Chaya releases Tanya, both women immediately backing away from each other at high speed, getting a few dozen yards between them before both come to a stop.

“You can't beat me.” Tanya says, her divine power blazing wildly around herself as she spreads her arms, a clear gesture of dominance and smug superiority as the pistols vanish once more. “Submit to me, and you'll live. You make a great attack dog.”
“I'd rather die. But I'm not losing today. HAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, clenching her fists and letting her power surge. Lightning crackles around her body as she raises her divine might up to its limits. A few moments later the force of her going all out seemingly strikes the ship you all are in, rocking it slightly. “You took everything from me. And you're gonna die for that!”

“Auntie Chaya looks really mad.” your daughter says, turning to you and looking worried. “Is she gonna be okay?”

... Something just occurred to me. How much does Chaya actually KNOW about the Super Saiyan God ritual or the form itself? Like, we can assume she's at least seen it from the various fights with the Time Patrol but I'm not entirely sure.

My thought being that if Beerus shows up and starts talking about a Super Saiyan God that he wants to fight, is Chaya going to assume that he means HER if no one else has performed the ritual by them?
>>
>>5664086
We should probably be more concerned about Beerus being mistaken about it and subsequently challenging Chaya right then and there.
>>
>>5664091
Oh absolutely. That being said, is it weird that I kind hope he does if only because I want Chaya's powerset to diverge more from Future Chaya? I think she could impress him with enough good rolls on our side, but I wouldn't bank on it desu of course.

I honestly think that if we performed the god ritual on Chaya rather than Meloka, she'd get a bigger buff from it. Chaya is way more famous than Meloka (and therefore has more Faith to draw on), and she's already used to using god ki via Super Saiyan Rage so it probably won't crap out on her as fast as it did for Goku in Battle of Gods.
>>
>>5664097
Personally speaking, I'm of the opinion that we have Chaya, Broly, and Chilli take Beerus on as a team.
Obviously they won't beat him. Hell, they probably won't even scratch him. But what I do think they can do is last long enough to give Meloka and Karn time to observe how he fights.
That alone would be immensely helpful for fighting him in earnest.
>>
>>5664097
You have to figure the quality of prayer as well, Chaya has fans, but Karn, and subsequently, Meloka, have devotion. Maybe of their race and close allies. But enough to consider valid worship.
>>5664105
Only if they press to take him first, otherwise Mama and Daddy are making a catskin rug.
>>
>>5664105
>>5664107
That begs another question. When Beerus comes, are we aiming to kill him or to impress him enough that he's cool with training us (or more accurately having Whis train us)?
>>
>>5664097
Depending on how things go we might not even need to do the SSG ritual on Chaya. Or at least, we might technically be doing it already if the power of faith can be conveyed using Saiyan energy like Trunks with Genki from the humans. And if that's the case, all the more reason why I think we're gonna see a true awakening or evolution of Rage here. Her fans might amp it up further but that's another factor altogether. I still think Meloka should get it just so we have another member who could counterbalance Chaya and vice versa if one gets Divine brainrot.
>>
>>5664107
>Only if they press to take him first, otherwise Mama and Daddy are making a catskin rug.
I really think we should ask them to do it instead of just waiting for them to decide they want a piece of Beerus.
We're already making use of outsider information regarding the fight, might as well double down and get as much Intel as we can.
Plus Chaya (and maybe Chilli and Raven) is the only person who'd be able to get sense of his actual power relative to our own. Again, another valuable piece of information.
>>
>>5664097
As for diverging, Chaya lost her tail, and while I'm not sure Caulifia's new Stand Powers can bring it back or not. Would Chaya even want it? It's like with Chili's magic, sure by now he probably found some regenerative/restoration spell that could do the job. But the fact that he didn't offer it or Chaya didn't ask him for such a possibility is telling in itself that she wants to go down her own path. Course I could just be overthinking it as I try and fill in the holes.
>>
>>5664108
If he fights us under the pretext of destroying New Salda should we lose or fail to entertain him, I'm opting to murder him.
>>
>>5664108
We are kicking him off our fucking lawn.
>>
>>5664108
I like to think Beerus isn't that stupid after Whis will tell him about all the stuff the Saiyans have done over the years, especially with Karn and his family. But he does choose to knock the wasp's nest despite that, then we should make sure he realizes the consequences of his actions, the hard way.

But it also begs the question of which version of beerus we're getting. The Movieverse, the Anime version, or god forbid the manga version. Depending on the answer we might have to deal with the one that perpetually rubberbands himself and never gets surpassed.
>>
>>5664113
I do want to get her tail restored eventually. She may think she's just fine without it, and arguably she is, but it's been proven that a Saiyan is better off with their tail than without one.
I know if Karn lost his tail, he wouldn't say no to having it restored.
>>
>>5664118
I assume it'll be the BoG version since GD has taste.
>>
>>5664119
>>5664113
I think she should get her tail back even though she's obviously not going the Primal route if only because it helps with ki control.
>>
>>5664121
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's an extremely important organ for energy regulation AND maintaining equilibrium.
She really should just have it restored z but I can understand why she's held off on it for so long.
>>
>>5664119
>>5664121
Honestly, I do too. While I wouldn't mind if Chaya learned how to channel the Oozaru power like Super Broly and Cumber, it would feel thematically important if she allowed herself to no longer be weighted by her past mistakes and move on by restoring her tail. Never forget the feeling and let yourself be complacent mind you or take the easy out and aping your future self. But get rid of those unnecessary and/or intrusive feelings so you can remain free and lucid.

>>5664120
That would be our best bet and the easiest to surpass. Even with RoF, it's implied that if Goku and Vegeta work together through fusion or some other tag team stunt, they could seriously put Beerus through the winger if arguably surpass him.

“I believe.” you say, your daughter tilting her head at you curiously. “I believe in Chaya, that she can win this one. That she'll defeat Tanya, no matter what.”

“Yeah, Auntie Chaya won't lose!” your daughter shouts excitedly, turning back to the screen. Just as she does, Tanya's chainsaw rifle appears in her hands after a flash of golden light, opening fire at your sister. Who breaks left, dodging the spray of automatic fire while throwing both hands forward, unleashing another storm of devastating lightning. Forcing Tanya to fly up and above the storm, switching weapons with another flash of light. The rifle changes out for another one, this one firing a solid laser down at your sister. Forcing her to end her own attack and use the evasive Su Ma technique to spin and narrowly avoid the beam as she rushes up towards Tanya. Who keeps turning the beam back and forth, trying to nail your sister with the attack. But Chaya's just too fast, rapidly closing the distance into striking range.

“Take THIS!!” Chaya bellows, drawing her right back and swinging. But instead of striking the woman, instead your sister's fist slams into the spherical golden shield that appears around Tanya. “Tch!”

The heavy blow sends the smaller woman flying back, tumbling head over heels inside her shield a moment before it fades away. Only for Tanya to reorient herself, this time holding another unfamiliar weapon.

“DODGE THIS!” Tanya snarls, firing the wide-barreled weapon. Which shoots out a cone of thousands of super-heated particles, each piece leaving glowing trails behind as they all shoot down towards your sister. Who charges straight into the storm, throwing her left hand out to the side as she charges.
“HAAAA!” your sister shouts, thrusting her right hand forward and once more making an invisible wall. The particles that would have hit her stop dead in their tracks, the rest flying past her before she drops the wall, spinning out around the ones she stopped and closing in close with Tanya once more.

“Grrr! Try this then!” she snarls, swapping weapons again. But this time it looks to be nothing more than a golden metal shell around her right fist, Tanya punching at your sister. But as she does the device activates, thrusters on the back accelerating the punch as some sort of electric maybe field is generated around the weapon that absolutely surges with magic. But your sister isn't worried, roaring and swinging her right fist directly at the weapon. Flesh and metal clash, the two opposing forces colliding at full power.

“WOAH!” your daughter exclaims as the screen goes white once more, the flash from the two divine beings' clash blindingly bright. But as the light fades, you're surprised to see both fighters flying back from one another. No, not flying back. Tumbling away from each other out of control. Just what in the world IS that weapon?

“Tch! HAAAAA!!” your sister roars, reorienting herself first and firing a Scatter Beam from her right hand's fingertips. Tanya easily flies aside, dodging the attack while drawing forth another weapon, or rather weapons. They appear to be some sort of glove with claws, one upright and the other two below. Then from these weapons Tanya starts firing some sort of bladed rockets, the swarm of missiles traveling towards you sister. Who, seeing them coming gathers her ki behind her eyes, firing the Guided Eye Beams. The twin lasers cut through the swarming projectiles, destroying them all before they even get close. But this distracts your sister, who doesn't see Tanya's next attack coming.

“Look out!!” your daughter shouts at the screen as if Chaya could hear her, before that same laser beam from before slams into her guts.
“Gyuuuh!” your sister wheezes as the force from the beam drives her all the way down to the ground, crashing down into the no-man's land between the two armies which are still fighting down below. Tanya ends the attack, summoning a second one of those massive cannons as she mutters to herself.

“Good thing I had two of these made.” she says, gathering a tremendous amount of power once more. The camera switches from Tanya's perspective to a camera closer to your sister, who pushes herself up and out of the newly made crater with a smirk. Then, she makes a grabbing motion with her left hand, then jerks her arm to the right. As she does the camera changes once more, only to see Chaya's sword swing for Tanya's head. Forcing the woman to block with the rifle, which explodes in a bright flash of golden light as the sword starts cleaving through it. “Dammit! You bitch!”
“No you.” your sister replies as she just appears behind Tanya, swinging a ki-shrouded right fist straight for her spine. You can see the sudden terror on Tanya's face, eyes wide as the gem on her chest harness begins blazing with even brighter light. It takes you a moment to understand what happened, as the light fades, but you then understand that your sister's swinging through an illusion, the REAL Tanya another dozen feet in the air above with a large-barreled weapon with six spikes on the end pointing down. “Shit!”

“Die!” Tanya snarls, pulling the trigger. Firing a swarm of eight energy comets that all combine into one right beside your sister, and everything goes white.

The view switches from the blindingly bright light to another further camera, showing the flash of light as a blinding light that consumes Chaya, her sword, and the fake Tanya completely. Then, as the light starts fading you see your sister and her sword dropping down out of the sky like a lead balloon.

“Big Sis?!” Okira shouts in concern, surging up and out of her seat again.
“Auntie Chaya!” your daughter yells, clenching her fists as she watches.
“The hell was that?” your old man mutters, watching as his daughter drops like a rock. But she doesn't hit the ground, instead somehow recovering mid air, flipping back several times before reorienting herself, reaching out and catching her sword in her left hand. Without hesitation she charges forth once more, only for Tanya to once more swap weapons, this time for a strange looking weapon, Tanya smirking as your sister draws closer. Immediately Chaya seems troubled, stopping her forward momentum and breaking right. Just as she does Tanya fires, a strange dark, swirling mass down at where she was. And right as it reaches where Chaya was it stops, forming something you recognize all too well.

“No way, that's my technique!” you exclaim, rising up out of your own chair as Tanya's weapon somehow copies your Dark Magic: Dark Hole spell. The sudden point of absolute dark starts drawing Chaya towards it, your sister's eyes widening as she recognizes it as well. But then the nearest camera is pulled in, its feed going dark. By the time the camera changes you get to see your sister, reaching out with her right hand, seemingly somehow GRAB that dark hole and launch it up at Tanya! Who narrowly jets out of the way, avoiding getting hit by it directly. But the dark hole does cut through the weapon itself, ripping it from Tanya's hands and devouring it as the darkness flies past them, further up into the sky until it is no longer in sight. “What the hell?”

“I hope that wasn't your best.” Chaya taunts, her breathing still even as Tanya struggles to catch her breath, eyes still wide from her newest near-death experience. “Because if this is all you've got, then I'm disappointed in you. I was hoping for more.”
“Go Auntie Chaya go, you can do it!” your daughter cheers, jumping up and down in excitement.

“Your sister is fighting exemplary, Broly.” Kori says to Broly, you glancing aside to them only to see he looks troubled. Brows furrowed, almost glaring at the screen. You wonder what he's seeing that you don't, but suddenly watch as the light around Tanya begins expanding, growing brighter as it spreads from only four magical circles behind her to dozens, if not hundreds. Forming lines of light in the sky around her body.
“You fought well. But this ends, now.” Tanya declares, little more than a silhouette in her blindingly bright display. “Begone!”

And once more, everything goes white.

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoying the battle so far? Ready to see the limits of both women's divine powers, just how strong both of them have become? Enjoying the perspective of Chilli we've been getting, or would you rather switch it up when this episode continues? And, most importantly, who do you think will be the one to come out on top? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

Stealing that one, thank you Chaya.

Using the dark side allowed her to do something most wouldn't be able to. But her anger is at an all-time high, and the source is right there before her.
Glad to see. And yes, it's going to be a dramatic one.
>>5664137
Ha. At the rate they're going, maybe.
>>5664142
Tanya's smirk as Chaya was taunting her. He recognized that look IMMEDIATELY. So did Chaya, but this might be going according to plan for her.
>>5664143
It will finish when the episode returns, this fight has maybe a dozen updates left.
>>5664146
>>5664149
I personally love the Chilli pov, as his thought process is similar yet different enough to Karn's to be fun.
>>
>>5664153
>Spoiler
So she thinks she can trick the paranoid midget by acting a little like her old self after showing her she learned her lesson?
>>
>>5664155
Of course, that's just good fighting.
You make a pattern, then you BREAK the pattern. Gets em every time, garaunteed.
>>
>>5664162
She already showed she broke the pattern, the trick is in the open.
>>
>>5664153
>>5664153
That's good, you should give Chili more PoV shots for the inner monologue alone.
>>
>>5664155
Not quite.
>>5664162
True. But Chaya's clearly baiting something. Whatever this is.
>>5664177
I'd like to, especially for his plans at the new year. For his daughter's second birthday, he's going to be putting on a show. One that will show his planet's leaders where they stand.
>>
I’m actually curious, what do each of you think Tanya’s ability or attack here is? What do you think she’s trying in response to Chaya’s taunting?
>>
>>5664203
.....couldn't be a beam struggle, she knows first hand that it is pointless. A suicide bomb wouldn't be out of character as a last ditch, which may be what Chaya is trying to drag out. Issue being Tanya may very well have at minimum three suicide attacks.
>>
>>5664203
Shes a god now, she probably expended her energy to create a small plane of existence / new area where she is all powerful.

Classic god trick for dnd bullshit.
>>
>>5664207
A power struggle would be foolish, Tanya knows that. But she isn’t in enough danger to take the suicide bomb route, leaving her life in Chaya’s hands.
>>5664235
A possibility. But if it were such a thing, we wouldn’t get to see what happens from Chilli’s pov.
>>
>>5664242
Maybe she stopped time?
>>
>>5664250
Interesting thought, as she knows at least Karn is immune. Would she gamble on that working?
>>
>>5664273
Unlikely, if she can pull off time stop, she will assume Chaya, daughter of the guy trying to kill time supreme kai, can fight that influence with the same divine ki she uses.
>>
>>5664308
Bingo. Hadn’t even addressed the divine angle, seeing as how most are seemingly immune to time manipulation on that scale, but would be another point against any time stopping or slowing. The deities almost all seem exempt from time change, except for those like Whis’s Rewind. Or going back into their pasts and ending them then, but how likely’s that? No, Tanya has something else. Some other technique.
>>
>>5664311
I know its wrong, but it sounds like Sharingan Eye bullshit that throws someone in limbo until they change their ways.
>>
>>5664315
I will say this power she’s about to drop is bullshit. But eye illusions is thinking too small.
>>
>>5664311
So, correct me if I'm wrong GD, but Chaya's stoking her own rage to push past her normal limits, right?
If so, the principles allowing her to do so remind me of Darth Sion's unique ability (the guy is essentially a living corpse held together by the Force via negative emotions like rage, hatred, and pain)
I don't mean to imply that she's at risk of becoming a zombie propelled by spite, but I do wonder just how much the Dark Side of the Force will influence her in the future.
>>
>>5664573
No. What I will say is that her technique USES the Fear Drinker as a framework. But, let’s just say custom tailored to use something else as fuel, and not emotions from whoever she’s fighting. Fear Drinker doesn’t work against a majority-robot force anyways.
>>
>>5664675
Wait.....wait wait wait.....is she basically substituting her own Yellow Lantern with the Force by fueling it with her fear and hate of failure? On live television?
>>
>>5664675
Is she using her worshippers as fuel? twice, with the saiyan rage and the force
>>
>>5664675
...Is she using the fact that the Dark Side represents all emotional connection, not just negative, to fucking leech off the hope of her audience even more like a discount Blue Lantern?
>>
>>5664768
Oh shit, I didnt think of that......
>>
>>5664678
>>5664768
>>5664675
Is she doing both?

My nigga what are you doing?
>>
Cool another bot :)
>>
>>5664817
Why is it here?
>>
>>5664678
She’s using something as fuel, but not her own emotions. Not for that.
>>5664697
Potentially. Or maybe she isn’t only tapping into her velievers. We’ll just have to wait and see if its revealed.
>>5664768
Quite possibly. But what would happen if that connection to her followers was severed?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 196 Intermission-

AGE 755, THE THIEVES' DEN

“They're really going at it.” you hear one of the bar's patrons mutter, the room unusually quiet as most of the patrons watch the battle unfolding. A battle like this, a fight of this intensity between two self-proclaimed deities is a rare showing, even more so a grudge match being broadcast to the wider universe. You're sure uncounted quadrillions, if not quintillions of beings are watching the battle between the PTO's top general Karn's daughter Chaya and the current Dreadzone Champion Tanya duke it out for dominance. The young Saiyan's ferocity reminds you of her mother, of your battle with the Super Saiyan under Vox's cameras fondly. It was a good fight, but not for the planet as your battle with her tore the planet asunder.

“You know that she's Karn's daughter, right? THE Karn?” a woman says to the two men sitting across from her, both of whom are clearly mercenaries. The burly one is wearing a sleeveless vest with his arms exposed, showing that he has a mechanical left arm while the slim one with the unkempt hair is wearing a blue suit, both men smoking while watching the battle unfold.
“Everyone and their mother knows who Chaya is, Faye.” the larger of the duo says, not taking his eyes from the screen. “Hell, I bet everyone in here has taken at least one bet on her back when she was the champion.”
“She was Dreadzone's Champion?” the woman asks, looking back from them towards the screen. “I wonder who took her title?”

“You're looking at her.” comes the slim man's reply, crossing his arms behind his head and leaning back in his seat as she starts, turning towards him. “I bet she's been chomping at the bit to get her run back.”
“Tanya set Chaya up last time, with Vox's help.” the larger of the duo adds in. “Would have ended her too, had her father not stepped in. Just showed up out of thin air, eating the finishing blow meant for his daughter without flinching before taking her back home.”
“Just that thought gives me the damn creeps!” the thin man says, shivering a moment. “Imagine getting on the PTO's bad side and they send him after you. One minute you could be alone, and the next, poof. He's just there.”

“-ust a buncha glowy bastards, s'as's all they are!” comes a drunk's outburst from the other end of the room, you glancing that way with your one large eye. Only to see a familiar face, drowning hims sorrows if the two dozen empty bottles on the table are any indication. “I hope that bitch loses again!”

“Hang on, didn't you just put four grand on Chaya winning and regaining her title?” the robot with him asks, to the fool's irritation.
“Shhhhhhhuddup, QT!” the drunk shouts belligerently, drawing his arm back and readying to throw the bottle at his companion, but a stern glare from the barkeep stops him cold. The dandy man lowers the bottle back to the table sheepishly, lowering his head. However, your people watching comes to an end, as you see your loyal follower Melzargard approaching with a cloaked figure.

“Master, we have returned. And with the one whom you wished to speak to. This is good, yes.” Melzargard says, each mouth saying a separate sentence.
“Thank you, Melzargard. Please, have a seat.” you say, gesturing to a seat not quite directly across from you, so your guest can watch the unfolding battle should they so choose. After all, you don't get to see a fight like this live everyday. Even if he and his people lived through it, for a time. Your guest sits, keeping his hands inside his dark cloak as he sits down, setting his elbows on the table.
“Lord Boros.” the man says, his four separate mandibles moving independently of one another beneath his hood. You catching a faint glimpse of the unique, unmistakable golden armor underneath as he speaks, armor which would have him attacked on sight by those wishing to prove their worth.

“Khor 'Vadam.” you reply, grinning to the leader of the largest group of Sangheili left in the universe. Calling themselves the 'Swords of Sanghelios', they were 'gifted' their homeworld back to them by Freeza after the war. In exchange for their complete and unquestioning loyalty, under penalty of death for their entire race. But, as a PTO ally, they are free to work with you as well. So long as you don't actively work against the PTO's interests. And, after what happened here at the Thieves' Den all those years ago, you'd say you're most definitely working in their interests. After all, someone has to track down that delusional so-called deity Nabu. And who better to hunt them down than some of the greatest assassins in the universe? “I take it that you've got news?”

“More than news, Lord Boros. I have a sighting. Two weeks ago, this image was taken on a small, remote planet in the far reaches of the North Quadrant.” he says, drawing a datapad from inside his cloak and setting it on the table. And, sure enough, you do see a high-quality image of someone wearing that helmet, even dressed the same way as he was when he was here. “But it seems we weren't the first to track him here.”
“What? What do you mean?” you ask, surprised. “Who else would have been searching for him?”

“This is the same planet Karn visited two months ago, accompanied by the one called Ubo.” Khor says, swiping on the image and turning it to another. Where you see a surprisingly high-quality shot of Karn, Ubo, his daugher Okira, and a man wearing a ragged blue skinsuit with the shreds of a cape on his back all inside a sphere of his emerald energy.
“Impossible.” you say as your jaw drops in shock. But as he shows other images of the battle, ending with a video of Chaya of all people giving an interview on the planet. Because of course she was. “But...how? How in the hell did Karn find him? I went through that place ”

“From what my spy gathered, Karn didn't actually make contact with him there.” Khor says, sweeping through other pictures until it goes to a certain clip of Chaya's talk with the reporter. One where Karn and his daughter Caulifla are in the background. “He was there for a different reason.”

“I dunno kiddo. Ubo an' I just came out here so I could introduce him to his fellow Kryptonian.” you hear Karn faintly say, your brow raising in surprise as the last Arbiter of the former Covenant stops the recording again.
“There's another. And on the same planet that that bastard Nabu lives on.” you say in awe, raising your gaze to the Sangheili's own. “And if there are two Kryptonians, then there are no doubt more.”
“Indeed. But what's more important is what we have discovered since.” Khor adds, changing the display once more. This time to the view of the planet from space, a giant satellite that clearly isn't organic orbiting the planet. “Our stealth tech got by their observation platform on the way in, but these beings already have technology more advanced than spaceflight.”

Once again the camera view changes, this time catching a recording of that same blue and red suited man simply APPEARING somewhere, along with the golden helmet's newest body puppet, a woman wearing red, white, gold and blue, another woman in the Kryptonian's same blue and red colors but a more feminine design, and a man in all black and dark greys. And, for just a moment, he stares directly into the camera before drawing something from his belt and throwing it, the feed cutting out.

“This was the last transmission we received.” Khor finishes with a sigh, leaving the display on that view of the group. “Unfortunately for us, it seems that this Nabu has a Kryptonian bodyguard on his home world.”
“Thank you for the information. Continue monitoring the system to ensure he does not flee, but do not send anyone else down. Your people shouldn't take any more losses here.”

“Will you be visiting this planet yourself?” the Arbiter asks, you shaking your head. “Why not?”
“Of course not, I have no intentions of doing battle with them myself. A Kryptonian is, at the moment, still beyond my capabilities.” you say, looking down at your armored right hand a second before continuing. “No, I have a far better idea. And I know two men who'd kill for a rematch with that so-called god.”

But then, just as you say that, through the sound system you hear Chaya speaking clearly.

“I hope that wasn't your best.” the young Saiyan says, sounding confident. You turn to the screens, seeing Chaya not even breathing heavily while her foe is struggling to catch her breath. Looks like the years out of the spotlight training have paid off for her. “Because if this is all you've git, then I'm disappointed in you. I was hoping for more.”

But as Chaya says this, suddenly the other one, Tanya, smirks. You recognize that look immediately, the look of someone who is about to turn the tables on their foe. Your eye widens as Tanya straightens her back, taking a single deep breath in before the magical halo behind her begins expanding. Instead of a single circle containing four smaller circles, suddenly dozens if not hundreds of those magical circles begin appearing all around her in the sky.

“You fought well. But this ends, now. Begone!” Tanya declares, and everything goes white. Several drunks and other bar patrons all shout in shock and pain, you even wincing from the light's intensity. But as it fades, the voices only get louder.
“I-Impossible.” you say, shocked to your core. “How did she....?”
“If only we had HER on our side...” you hear Khor say almost wistfully, awed by what Tanya had just done. And, you hate to agree, but if the Covenant had her on their side, with this technique, then the Saiyan race itself might no longer exist. “Amazing.”

All thoughts of chasing the golden helm are temporarily forgotten, you and everyone else's gaze glued to the screen in shock as Tanya had done the impossible. Everyone waiting with baited breath to see how this insane turn of events will play out. But one thing's for certain, Chaya can't win the battle anymore. Not like this. Can her father even save her now? Or would he, too, fall prey to this unbelievable technique if he tries to save her again?

I am so fucking excited for this weekend, I’m bursting at the seams. I do hope at least one of you figures out Tanya’s planned technique and plan, but I’m certain no one will guess Chaya’s plan.

>>5667207
True. But that makes it even more an indictment on the others. Superman has yes vision and can hear people on earth. From space. Yet didn’t notice the Sangheili stealthed and crouched near where they appeared. All the powers in the world don’t beat someone paying true attention to their entire surroundings.

>>5667211
>I do hope at least one of you figures out Tanya’s planned technique and plan
Hey GD, how long did you initially think it would take us to open the mystery box?

>>5667241

>>
>>5667328
How can Karn prevail over such a deadly for?
But back to slightly more serious matters, are we ever gonna get a chance to go back to Sangheilios?
I understand that tensions between the Saiyans and Sangheili probably won't die down within Karn's lifetime, but I think that he's in a prime position to lay the groundwork for not just a true peace between the two races, but genuine and willing cooperation.
We wouldn't live to see it, but our descendants certainly would, and that's all that matters in the end.
>>
>>5667351
>are we ever gonna get a chance to go back to Sangheilios?
Perhaps one day. But right now probably not. Too soon, the leaders think, and one of their people might lash out in anger or grief. Causing the end of their species.
>>
>>5667471
>Perhaps one day. But right now probably not.
Disheartening, but not a deal breaker.
>Too soon, the leaders think,
And they're probably correct in that assumption.
>and one of their people might lash out in anger or grief.
Sadly that's a very real possibility.
Still, even if a formal diplomatic mission to Sangheilios is off the table right now, I'd love to get in contact with their leadership and start planning towards it when things cool down.
>>
>>5667476
That would require us smoothing things over with King Cold, if we want to do any diplomacy between species without things going tits up with our status as PTO general.
But other than that we should focus on getting ready for the big death kitty before anything. But more immediately we need to make sure Chaya doesn't die.
>>
>>5667476
Their greatest worry is, unironically, Karn’s wrath. If one of their people lashes out, they’re afraid you’ll finish them all off for the actions of one or two.
>>5667502
>smooth things over with King Cold
He’s already over it, except the part about your daughter keeping the dagger. But he also realizes that that’s ENTIRELY his own damn fault, and can’t put the blame for that on you. Now that Buu’s gone, he has a much more relaxed outlook on what’s left of his life. He achieved his greatest, impossible goal after so many centuries, getting worked up over little things now serves no purpose.
And indeed, Beerus is the one you should be worried about. At this point Chilli can do nothing to affect the outcome of the fight. In a battle between gods, the victor is decided by whoever has the greater worship, whoever has more faith placed in them to win. As we’ve seen, the Faith of the worshipers can work miracles.
>>
>>5667550
>they’re afraid you’ll finish them all off for the actions of one or two
That's disappointing, but very much understandable. I feel like Karn's calmed down quite a bit since then, but it's not like anybody is aware of that just yet.
>>
>>5667577
It's hard to imagine the guy whose power seems to be actual anger maxing being calm in any way, comparative or no.
>>
>>5667581
Wait, I got the perfect idea to show the wider Galaxy we're a much more measured and reasonable force of nature than we used to be.
We start a podcast. Call it "The Karn Experience". Camali can be our co-host.

>>5667663
Ha! That's a good one.
>>5667670
No, those that did joined the Remnants. While those that went back to Sanghelios weren't the ones most seeking revenge, actually seeing the one who killed thousands of your kind may bring those feelings out of anyone.
>>
>>5667672
>actually seeing the one who killed thousands of your kind may bring those feelings out of anyone.
Fair point, but I still want to pursue real diplomacy with them eventually. If Karn going isn't viable, then who?
Certainly nobody in his generation for obvious reasons.
Maybe one of the younger generation? There aren't a lot of them that are actually old enough to understand the conflict as it pertains to their race and the Sangheili, so that makes our options kinda limited.
I'd suggest one of the kids, but I don't want to "volunteer" them for political business if they're not really interested in pursuing that.
Maybe Broly? His relation to Karn might pose an issue, but I think he'd understand the importance of easing tensions and why Karn going himself isn't the greatest idea.
>>
>>5667676
Karn MAY be viable. In fact, Karn may indeed be the best option the PTO’s got to forge lasting peace with the Sangheili. But that would depend on his choices. After all, one or two of the Sangheili were among those Karn rescued from beneath New Salda’s waves, all those years ago.
Possibly, but they may not have the right attitude.
>spoiler
Perhaps. However, he probably wouldn’t want to.
>>
>>5667696
>In fact, Karn may indeed be the best option the PTO’s got to forge lasting peace with the Sangheili.
Yeah, but he also carries with him the highest risk of causing an international incident. It's a lot to consider...best put it on the back burner for now. We got cats what need skinning.
>>
>>5667720
>Yeah, but he also carries with him the highest risk of causing an international incident.
Would depend on how Karn handled it. If, let’s say, someone tries to sneak Karn and he murders them, but continues what he was doing as if nothing happened, not much of an incident. The greater Sangheili race would trust Karn MORE after that. Or say he doesn’t kill them, instead maims the attacker but lets them live. Say with one less arm. The other Sangheili would murder him either then and there, as a show of fealty or later to restore the family’s honor. But again the fear of total species annihilation would be lessened. It would only be an incident worthy of note IF KARN makes it one.
Yes, focusing on priorities is important. Especially as Tanya’s new technique frightens even the Supreme Kais. Even Chronoa herself
>>
>>5667725
That sounds really scary. The problem here is whats stronger, the divine brain of a goddess of strategy pulling out her hidden ace tech in front of her quintillions of fans, or one really really angry man whose powered by the faith in himself and is built to kill the divine?

Past experiance shows the answer. Karn just has to get angry enough.
>>
24 hours to go until the reveal, hope everyone’s as hyped and ready to go at launch time as I am!

>>5667848
They realize the implications of what such a technique could mean. This technique doesn’t affect Karn as much, as his power is explicitly anti. But the better question is what Chaya will do? And will her crazy plan be enough?
>>

Correction, NOW its 24 hours to go. We’re starting at our usual noon EST start time, where Tanya’s power will be revealed

That actually sounds amazing, just a single run fully dedicated to fluff and world building where we hang out and run a Q&A on Spitch(Space Twitch), with random guests able to come over and hangout with us while we shoot the shit with the galaxy at large while shit talking Shin, and Kai's in general.
>>5667618
Seriously though, just one day of nothing but that to influence the universe. We can give explicit instructions to let people ask any question, spam blockers on as always, but no filter? Just the weirdest or most common questions people talk to Chaya about, all while we have a grill out with our dojo students and the family. We can ask random students about information we didn't know about, or answer directly with color commentary from our guests.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The day of battle came, Chaya's fateful rematch with Tanya arrived, the entire family going to witness the battle. Chaya breezed through the fighting until coming up against Shellshock, her lightning causing the machine to self destruct. Then, after the faith Chaya's people have in her heals the injuries she sustained in the blast, the real battle begins. Chaya and Tanya throw down, each woman fighting and putting on quite a show until Tanya unleashes her full power. As we rejoin the action from Chilli's point of view, Tanya has just released a level of divine magical power you've not felt since battling the Supreme Kai of Time directly!

“Begone!” declares Tanya, and everything goes white. You flinch back, recoiling and shielding your eyes from the flash as your daughter and wife, as well as most everyone else in the room shouts in discomfort as well. But as the blinding light fades, you see that your sister has changed. No longer is she in that divine form of hers, in fact she's back down in her base form. For some reason.
“What the hell was that?” you father mutters, sounding as confused as you feel. “What just happened?”

Somehow, whatever Tanya did in that flash took away your sister's divine power. Leaving everyone stunned by what happened, Chaya most of all.

“Wh-What did you DO?!” Chaya shouts, sounding equal parts angry, shocked, and horrified. To which the blonde woman smirks her devilish smirk, golden eyes gleaming with crazed intensity.
“False gods cannot be permitted to cause chaos so freely. So, as punishment for your heresy, I have taken away that unearned godly strength.” Tanya decrees, an odd effect in her voice, almost as if someone else is speaking alongside her through her mouth. “One like you doesn't deserve to wield the power of the divine.”

“What the hell? How did she do that?” your father asks, you feeling his gaze turning towards you. But you have no idea.
“Daddy, Daddy! What happened to Auntie Chaya?” your daughter asks, but you still have no answer. “Why did she turn back normal?”
“Tanya did it, somehow.” you tell her, staring at the screen in shock. “She robbed Chaya of her divine power.”
“And now, you shall face divine justice!” Tanya declares, raising a hand overhead. Only for a ridiculously-oversized rifle to appear in her hand, the smaller woman catching it with her other and bracing it against her shoulder. “Divine Smite.”

And she pulls the trigger.

Your sister raises her arms, flashing up into her Ascended form, but as the shell hits her and explodes, her body disappears. Reaching out with your ki sense, you can immediately tell something's wrong with her. Despite being in her Ascended form, you don't remember her powerlevel being so weak. It's nearly half of what your own Ascended powerlevel would be, did she really lose that much power from whatever Tanya did to her? Does her divine form really take that much out of her when she loses it?

“Auntie Chaya!!” your daughter shouts in a near panic, and as the smoke clears she gasps in shock. Having tanked the shot with her forearms, both are scorched and burnt, blood dripping down to her left elbow before she lowers her arms, glaring up at Tanya before flaring her golden, sparking aura up around herself. “Daddy, is Auntie Chaya gonna be okay? She isn't gonna die, is she?”

Well? How can you answer that?
>Put on a confidant face for your daughter, tell her that you're sure she's going to still win this
>Say that you've seen her in far worse shape than this and still come out on top, to not give up believing in her just yet
>Tell her that you think she's going to lose, but with her Auntie Caulifla here she'll be okay in the end no matter what happens
>Ask your daughter if she really thinks her auntie is going to lose, or if she'll find a way to win this

Truth be told, I had the mindset to think based on Tanya's antics she would want to take away any and all advantages that Chaya had. First I had a similar mindset as >>5664235 where she would make a world where she is the god and rewrite reality so that Chaya couldn't retaliate since in that world she wouldn't be a god-like being. But your statement about how if that was possible we wouldn't be seeing the fight from Chili's point of view.

So it got me thinking about what sort of other ways she could precisely do that but still keep the realm of Chili and co-watching the fight. Two came to mind, both have been proven as facts through the Moro arc. Those skills are either the power to seal divine power, or to steal it altogether.

I didn't say it because I didn't want to spoil and put a wrench in your plans by taking the fun out of the reveal. And how it was done was different from the prospect that I was thinking about resetting Chaya back to zero and road-blocking her from being able to transform.

What I truly didn't see coming was Tanya making herself a makeshift Being X or getting him to work with her to pull off this true god status.
>>
>>5668830
You know, part of me really did wish we or Meloka taught her how to SS3 or at least find a means to strengthen SS2 beyond the Ascendent method in case divine power became a non-factor.

Man am I glad Chaya trained under Soba and Pybara.

“Things may look bad, but I've seen Chaya in far worse shape than this and still come out on top.” you tell your daughter, looking over from the screen to her and trying to appear more confident than you feel. “Don't give up on believing in her just yet.”
“Yeah, you're right!” your daughter says, smiling again as she turns back to the screen. “C'mon Auntie Chaya, you can do it!”
“C'mon big sis, you can beat her!” Okira calls out as well, the two youngest girls cheering. “GO!”

“That was supposed to smite me? Well, I guess it did sting a little bit.” your sister taunts, smirking up at Tanya who only seems to glow even brighter gold. “But you made one fatal mistake.”
“Oh? And what would that be?” Tanya asks, cracking open her gun to eject a shell larger around than her forearm before materializing another one with a pointed end in her left, driving it into the gun before closing it once more.
“That you could EVER come between me and my fans, my true believers.” Chaya says, smirking and clenching her fists. You see the veins bulge in her head as, with a throat-tearing scream, you feel her powerlevel dwindling once more. And to your and clearly Tanya's shock, that divine aura blazes up around her once more! “HRRRRYAAAAAAA!!!”

“What?! No, that's impossible!” Tanya shouts, leveling the gun at her and immediately firing once more. But this time your sister can react, throwing her right hand palm-first towards it, detonating the projectile midways between them. Looks like she's not out of this yet.
“This isn't good.” you hear your father mutter, turning from the screen to him. He turns, sensing your look and starts thinking to you. “When she accessed this power for the first time, in Towa's realm, it almost killed her. Without her followers powering this form, it burns through her very soul to sustain itself. If she's not careful, she could end herself with this power before Tanya ever gets the chance.”

Feeling your own eyes widen as you realize the stakes of the fight, you turn back to the screen in time to see your sister blitz through the smoke, closing the gap between herself and Tanya to deliver a devastating right cross by punching THROUGH the weapon and shattering it. No doubt knowing the consequences of improperly channeling this power, aiming to end this immediately. Your daughter then raises a hand to her forehead, teleporting up behind Tanya and slamming a world-breaking two handed hammer fist down into Tanya's back, the smaller girl crying out in pain as Chaya's attack sends her crashing down to the ground. Then, still high in the air, your sister throws her arms wide, aura blazing wildly. Wait, is she doing what you think she is? Is she going to destroy the whole planet?

“HRRRRYAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars as her aura blazes brightly, even with her power being divine you can feel the pressure from all the way up here. Just how much power is she planning on using? “I'm ending this, right here and now!!”
“Go big sis, go! You can do it!” Okira shouts, cheering Chaya on.
“C'mon Auntie Chaya, win!” your daughter cheers as well, eyes glued to the screen in awe. Her power continues swelling, Chaya bringing both hands forward and pointed down, directly at the smoke cloud where she'd sent Tanya.

“Is she going to destroy the whole planet?” Koriand'r asks Broly, but he doesn't answer.
“FINAAAAAAAAAL!” Chaya shouts, the orb of ki in her palms radiating with power, golden lightning cracling from her and scouring the ground's surface beneath her. But then, all of a sudden she's just gone. One second she's there, the next she simply vanished. But then the camera's view changes, showing Chaya standing only a foot away from Tanya's back, hands out towards her. “FLAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!”
“SHI-!” Tanya shouts, only to be consumed by the blast. Chaya's attack is tremendous, the camera changing once more. This time to one of the satellites, showing the devastating power of your sister in proportion to the planet itself.

“Woooooaaaaah....” your daughter says, awestruck by her aunt's power as you all watch the beam blast off from the planet's surface and out into space.
“Not bad.” your old man mutters, you glancing aside to see him smirking. But as you turn your focus back, you see that Tanya survived!! “No way! How did she do that?!”
“Hmph. Not a bad attempt.” Tanya says from within her golden shield, turning to face your sister with an arrogant smirk. “But you were too slow.”

“D-Dammit!” Chaya snarls, again powering herself up. Tanya drops the shield and starts smirking, her twin guns materializing in her hands. “This isn't over yet!”
“No, but it will be soon.” Tanya replies, now looking totally in control of the battle. “You may have temporarily found some reserve of strength you stored away, but it won't last long. You can't keep that up for much longer, maybe a minute at most. And then, when that meager flame burns itself out, you lose.”

Things are looking grim, but as you look away from the screen to your old man, surprisingly both he and your mother look.... surprisingly unconcerned. Especially for what he just told you.

“Hang in there, Auntie Chaya! I know you can win!” your daughter shouts at the screen.
“Yeah, that's right! Take that jerk down!” Okira adds in, the two girls the only ones making noise. Everyone else is quiet, watching and waiting to see what happens.

“You really think you've got me, huh?” Chaya says, her sudden smirk wiping the one right off Tanya's face. And to your shock, suddenly your sister powers back down to her base form before jumping back into her Ascended form. Which is still at about half of where you'd thought it should be, from her power this morning before the fighting started. Just how much power does that divine form consume? “You've already lost this fight, you just don't know it yet.”

Her aura starts growing, the edges turning more jagged as you can feel her strength jumping. And you watch as she takes on the Ultra form, muscles bulking up considerably. Leaving her out of breath, but still smiling.

“Hit me with your best shot.” your sister taunts, drawing her aura in around herself. Using your father's Energy Body technique to strengthen her defenses even further. “But you'd better make it count.”
“Daddy, what is Auntie Chaya doing?” your little Meloka Wolbach asks, turning from the screen to you. “Is she gonna go all big and green like Grandpa?”
“Not quite.” you say with a smile, glancing over to him. Who is smiling at your daughter as well.
“Then what is she doing?” she asks you, frowning a bit in confusion.

“That's the Ultra Super Saiyan form. It gives you a lot of power and defense, but at the cost of your speed.” you tell her, gesturing back to your sister. “All those bulky, tense muscles help you absorb attacks, but they slow you down too.”
“Oooooh.” your daughter answers, glancing back to the screen at your sister. But turns back as you continue talking.
'So, why do you think she's using that form?” you ask your daughter, who looks confused. “Why would she use that one in particular?”
“Because she can't use her other one?” she answers immediately, and isn't wrong.
“Well, yes.” you reply, Meloka Wolbach grinning at getting it right. “But why that one in particular? Sure its stronger than her Ascended form, but that one's faster than this one by a whole lot. Why would your aunt make herself slower?”

“Ohhhh. Hmmm.” your daughter ponders, turning back to the screen as Tanya laughs.

“Oooh? Haaa! Aaahaa haa haahaa! You really think THAT form will let you fight me? You won't even touch me like that!” the current champion taunts as Chaya launches herself forwards. But Tanya easily takes to the air, raining down a hailstorm of lasers with her twin pistols. Chaya's Energy Body easily absorbs the hits, not slowing her momentum as your sister tries to catch back up with the now much smaller woman. Yet its painfully obvious she's not catching her. Each time Chaya gets close and swings, Tanya has time to easily back out away from, or duck under your sister's punches and kicks with little seeming effort. “But you have upped your defenses enough that these won't work. I'll have to switch to something bigger.”

And as Tanya drifts off to her left, easily dodging Chaya's thrusting front kick, the pistols disappear and are replaced by a weapon that looks more like a rifle. However, you recognize those pink crystals protruding up from either side of the weapon's scope. Your parents recognize it as well, your mother actually gasping a bit in surprise as your father 'Hrmm's, both seeming upset at this development.

“Eat crystals, bitch!” Tanya shouts, opening fire. The rifle fires the purple crystals in a fully automatic spray, the razor-sharp projectiles sticking into your sister's energy armor. Once enough hit they all explode, but don't slow your sister's charge down at all. Even once the second and third explosions all ring out, Chaya continues charging straight forward. Only for Tanya to fly up and over your sister as she charges through the last blast, swinging a right fist only to hit empty air. “Tch. Fine, try this!”

And once more Tanya's weapon changes, this time to a much bulkier, shoulder-mounted contraption as the golden light fades.

You watch as a red light ignites at the tip of the weapon's barrel, growing in intensity as your sister turns to face her foe. But the beam seemingly is ineffective against her armor, the entire weapon starting to glow faintly red. And then the weapon fires, reminding you of some of your earliest nightmares. Of some of your earliest memories, the Covenant's beams firing down on your first homeworld. For just a moment you're back to being a kid, watching as your world was invaded by the Covenant. But then you're back to the present, watching your sister tanking the miniature glassing beam. With her arms crossed, the beam is crashing into her guard, Chaya slowly being pushed down back to the ground. But then you notice something. There isn't only one star in the sky.

“The hell?” you mutter, confused as the camera angle shows you a second, blue star in the sky. “Why didn't I notice it earlier?”
“Come on Auntie Chaya, you can do it!!” your daughter shouts as your sister is driven back down to the ground before the attack ends. But then, as Tanya's weapon disappears in that same golden light, your sister powers down once more. “Huh?”
“Haaah? Is that really it?” Tanya taunts, not bothering to bring another weapon out. “Are you actually giving up?”

“You're a smart person, Tanya. But sometimes you're so clueless.” your sister says, and then, to your shock, ANOTHER Chaya suddenly appears right beside your sister! Her armor and body are in perfect condition, clearly not having been a part of the fighting like the half you've seen. What in the hell is going on? Then they both speak in perfect sync. “I told you before, this fight's already over.”
“Whaaaat? A second Auntie?” your daughter says in shock, bouncing up and down in surprise. “Woah, so cool!”
“What the hell?” Tanya says as the two Chaya merge, her strength skyrocketing. “When did you-?”

“This ends-” your sister says, raising both arms. Then swings them down, shouting out, “NOW!”

And then that giant star starts dropping out of the sky.

“What are you-?” Tanya questions, then her eyes widen in surprise. She turns, looking back over her shoulder to see the massive blue light dropping down straight towards her.
“Not bad kiddo.” Karn says softly, the entire screen whiting out from the glare of the giant attack.
“WOAAAH! SO COOL!!” your daughter shouts, throwing both hands up into the air as the camera feed changes once more. This time it's from quite a ways away, the massive orb distorted into a more oval shape as it drops down, smashing through the massive golden aura around Tanya and slamming into the ground. And as the orb hits the ground it explodes, the blast consuming that camera as well. The feed is reduced to static a moment before the camera changes again to a satellite view, watching as the orb detonates in a massive blast. “How did Auntie Chaya do that? There were two of her, then that big blast too! WOW!”

“That was the Multiform technique.” your father tells her, Meloka Wolbach turning to watch as your old man's body split into two beings. Your daughter's jaw drops in shock, eyes sparkling in wonder. “By halving your power, you can split your body into two distinct halves. But such a technique comes with risks.”
“That's why her transformed power seemed so low.” you mutter, one of your dads turning aside a bit and smirking before recombining himself. “I didn't even realize it.”
“You couldn't sense her?” Broly asks, sounding surprised before his eyes widen in realization. “Oh, right. You still haven't gone to Yardrat, have you?”
“Not yet. But now it's become a greater priority.” you reply, wondering how many of them sensed it as well. But before you can ponder on it too long, the light fades away, the camera changing through a couple before focusing on one of your sister, standing next to a massive crater. Lighting crackles down in the pit, no doubt aftereffects of such a massive shot of energy. The ENTIRE battlefield and all the machines are simply gone, reduced to nothing or fell into the hole, either way they're done.

“Is it over?” your daughter asks, turning from the results of the blast towards you. “Did she win?”

Well? Do you think its over?

“If there's no body, it's not over.” you say, your daughter looking confused at you. You can even feel your wife's gaze, but this is an important point to drive home early. “If Chaya's smart, she'll still be on her guard. Until you know your opponent is done and won't fight anymore, you should never drop your guard. Understand?”
“Uh huh.” your daughter answers, turning back to the screen as your sister drops down to her hands and knees. You notice now that' since recombining her bodies the damage she took is lessened, but not erased. In fact, you'd wager that she brought over more damage from her weakened body than not. Something important to remember, should you employ a similar tactic in the future.

“What an outstanding performance! With overwhelming power, our former champion has put on quite the display today!” Dallas shouts, his announcer platform flying down beside Chaya. “Tell us, what was that last attack you used?”
“I'm all for a mid-fight interview, but you two may want to get back.” your sister says, pushing herself back up to her feet. You seeing the shock on the robot's face and the horror on Dallas's as they understand the implications, their announcer pod immediately flying back.
“It would seem that our former champion doesn't think the current one is down for the count yet!” he says after regaining his composure. “Juanita, what do you think of her assessment?”

“If she doubts that her attack, even one as unexpected and devastating as that one didn't finish the job, then we should probably believe her.” Juanita answers. “Or, at least we should get back out of blast range.”
“I couldn't have said it better myself.” Dallas says, the camera shifting back towards Chaya once more. Only for a massive beam of light to erupt from the crater. The golden beam fills the ENTIRE thing, your daughter yelping in surprise as the light burns brighter and brighter. “And it would seem that her assessment was correct! This fight's not over yet folks!”

“C'mon sis, finish her off for good this time!” Kayle, your second-younger sister shouts as she surges up out of her seat as well. “Take her down!”
“Yeah, finish her off!” Maz agrees, getting up as well. But as the light around Tanya's form coalesces into that same cluster of divine magical circles behind her, you have a feeling it's not going to be easy. Uniform tattered and torn, blood soaking half her face and wearing a furious scowl, Tanya isn't finished yet.
“I can't lose! Not here, NOT to YOU!” Tanya howls, voice sounding even less like her own than usual. She sounds almost deranged, like a cornered animal howling.

“Insolent mortal! You should learn your PLACE, licking the boots of a REAL goddess!” Tanya declares, voice sounding even more unfamiliar as suddenly, from her circles fire twin bolts of pinkish lightning.
“HAAAA!” your sister responds, once more taking on her divine form now that the barrier Tanya'd used before is gone, then throws her own arms wide and shouts. “Barrier!”

Her golden energy forms a sphere just larger around than she is tall, the twin bolts slamming down onto it. But your sister is safe within the shield, the lightning not scorching her flesh. Which clearly upsets Tanya further, ending the attack. Only for her golden circles behind her to expand, growing to nearly thrice her own body height in width.

“Insolent bitch! PERISH!!” Tanya decrees, raising her right arm then throwing it forward. Causing hundreds, maybe thousands of energy lances the size of your father's Energy Javelins but the sheer quantity reminding you of your mother's Ki Needles as they all rain down. Your sister keeps the Barrier technique going, but as one direct impacts the shield and pierces through, nearly impaling her, you realize that it wasn't a good decision. An even worse one, as the lance explodes. Each of the spears detonate one right after the other, quickly obscuring your sister's form. But as the explosions continue raining down, hundreds by the second, even you start to worry about her. But then, all of a sudden you see her distinct divine aura blaze up through the clouds charging directly for Tanya! “What?!”

“HAAAAAAA!!” your sister roars, closing the distance and slamming her jaw with a powerful overhand right. Rocking the self-proclaimed goddess, sending her crashing down to the ground outside the crater. The impact seemingly shattering that massive ring of divine light behind her as she lands. But then you see that your sister took the brunt of that attack, now just as beaten and bloody as her foe. Chaya then drops to the ground a good distance from Tanya, slowly walking towards her as the smaller woman gets to her feet.
“Grrrrr! I hate you!” Tanya snarls, materializing her twin guns once more as her much-smaller halo of magical circles returns. “Why won't you just die?!”
“Good. I wanted you to feel how I've felt these last years.” your sister says, an unfamiliar fire in her eyes as she glares down at the smaller woman. Tanya pushes herself upright, the two staring each other down as the camera hovers above the empty crater. “Before I finished you off. HRRAAAAAA!!”

Tanya, seemingly shocked by this at first then powers up as well, the two women clad in gold glaring at each other. Both seemingly waiting on the other to make the first move.

“This is it.” your old man says, sounding unexpectedly nervous as you all watch the fight reach its conclusion. “The final showdown.”
“Hate? You know NOTHING about hate, you spoiled, stuck-up brat!” Tanya snarls, her own aura blazing brighter while her voice now sounds completely her own. “All your life you've had everything handed to you because of who your father was! Meanwhile I EARNED my way up, fighting in the trenches every single day. Struggling to survive every single day, from the day I was abandoned on a church's steps by parents who wanted nothing to do with me! I've busted my ass to be where I am today, while you've gotten to skate by on good genetics and family relations! Without nepotism you'd be nothing! NOTHING!”

Your sister has nothing to say to that, your daughter turning and looking at her grandpa, clearly confused. Your daughter clearly understands what she's saying, looking confused.

“Are those your final words?” your sister asks, holding her right hand up above her head. Only for her sword to fly out of nowhere after a few moments, landing in her upraised right while leaving her left down low, an odd, one-handed stance somewhat reminiscent of the Djem So style she and your father use. But something's clearly different.
“Daddy, what does she mean?” your daughter asks, you turning your gaze from the screen to her wide eyes. “Did Auntie Chaya not work hard?”

Well? How do you answer this question to her?

Let it be known that Chaya has never coasted on her father's name, nor has she ever given anything less than 110% to get where she is.
Growing up a Saiyan, especially during the Covenant War, is probably the last thing I'd call "easy".

Chaya did work hard to earn her place as Champion." you tell her, remembering back. "But once she was Champion, she started slacking off in her training and got sloppy."
"Really?" your daughter asks, her expression worried. “Is she still sloppy?”
“No, but that's because not taking her training seriously almost got her killed.” you tell your daughter, picking her up and setting her in your lap as you both watch the two staring each other down. “Chaya forgot why she was fighting, and Tanya beat her before. Taking her title of Champion and almost killing her.”

“No way!” your daughter says with a gasp.
“Way. But ever since then, ever since she lost her tail and title, she's been working hard every single day. She's earned her way back up to the top.” you say, focusing on the action. “Now, let's see if she's worked hard enough to call herself Dreadzone's Champion once again.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-QMpXKgzwE

And as if on cue the two women make their moves. Tanya immediately kicks off into the air, leveling both pistols at your sister to try and keep her distance. But as she does, Chaya reaches out with her left as if grabbing something in the air. And it seems she grabs TANYA with her telekinetic grip, pulling her towards herself with a wrenching pull. Yanking Tanya out of the air as Chaya swings her massive weapon sword down.

“SHIT!” Tanya shouts, the pistols vanishing in a golden light as she summons that portable Covenant laser weapon once more. But Chaya's sword cleaves it near in two, saving Tanya's life from the slash but instead slamming her back down hard to the ground. Where she immediately raises one boot, pointing it towards your sister's face and firing a beam of some sort of energy from the heel. Forcing your sister to leap back, narrowly avoiding the attack. And giving Tanya time to dash away again, once more swapping weapons into that chainsaw rifle and firing. She unleashes a swarm of bullets towards Chaya, who raises the weapon upside down vertically before her. Using the sword's metal as a shield, you hear the plinking of metal on metal as Tanya tries to fly back, until the smaller woman's rifle quits firing with a click.

“GOTCHA!” Chaya shouts, once more reaching out with her left and jerking the smaller woman towards her with telekinesis. But Tanya doesn't seem afraid, in fact looks READY as you realize she started the saw, the tiny blades spinning so fast it's a blur even to you. This is it.

“HAAAAA!!” Chaya bellows, once again swinging the massive blade down. Tanya matches her swing with a downwards swing of her saw as well, the two clashing in a shower of sparks. And, just like last time, Tanya's saw starts cutting straight through your sister's sword! But, as it does, suddenly your sister reaches forward with her left hand, grabbing the smaller woman by the throat!

“Glurk!?” Tanya tries to exclaim as her air is suddenly cut off, eyes bugging out. But before she can pull her saw free, to try and cut Chaya's arm off with it your sister wrenches the weapon free, holding her blade with the saw stuck in it down by her side as she lifts Tanya's head up over her own, holding her by the neck at arm's length as her aura condenses, once more forming her Energy Body. Tanya, now clearly panicked draws her knife from her back once more, infusing it with so much divine power it glows with all colors of the rainbow before thrusting it down, point first at your sister's wrist to break herself free. But this time, instead of being a death blow, the blade SNAPS at the hilt from the force of the attack. Leaving your sister unharmed, and the woman staring helplessly at the remains of her weapon.

“No more.” Chaya says, eyes blazing as she drops her sword, reaching out with her right and placing it on Tanya's head. “Last chance. Surrender. Or die.”
“She did it!” your daughter shouts, bouncing in your lap as she thinks the fight's over. It would be illogical to keep fighting, after all, and as a Crimson Demon she's far smarter than anyone else her age is. But as you look at the screen, Tanya clearly hasn't surrendered. You watch as her eyes change, shifting from golden to glowing crimson as Tanya suddenly smirks. And in a flash of understanding, realize what's about to happen.
“Get out of there!” Broly of all people suddenly shouts, surging to his feet. But just as he does, Tanya explodes.

KABOOOOOM

“Auntie Chaya!” your daughter shouts in worry as the camera is destroyed by the blast, a moment later you all seeing the blast on a further camera. And while it looks like nothing significant next to the massive crater Chaya's giant attack created, you're still worried for your sister. “Daddy, is she okay?”
“I don't know.” you reply, expanding your ki sense to try and find her. It takes you a couple seconds of silence, but then you can sense it. You find your sister's ki, it's faint but still there. However, it isn't alone. Tanya still lives as well!

“She's alive.” you say, your daughter letting out a huge sigh of relief. But you're worried, as you can still sense Tanya below as well. It is faint, but with your sister's power having dropped so low you can sense it as well. Then, after a few moments the smoke starts clearing, showing you all the results of the battle.
“She's okay!!” your daughter shouts, leaping up off of your lap in excitement as Chaya is shown to still be standing. However, her left arm is blasted pretty severely, hanging limply down by her side as blood drips down it to the ground below. Where Tanya's body lay, uniform scorched by her blast. The harness with the massive gemstone in the center is completely destroyed, exposing the burned black flesh beneath where it was. Tanya is clearly unconscious, barely clinging to life as your sister looks down at her. She did it, she won. But why does she look so...Upset?

You don't like that look on your sister's face, she looks rather upset. As if she's barely holding her emotions back, like standing on the brink. So you decide to telepathically reach out to her, speaking directly into her mind.

“Hey Chaya, what's wrong?” you ask her with a thought. “You won, so what're you doing looking so upset? This is what you spent so long working for, aren't you supposed to be celebrating?”
“It, it's just....” she starts, at a complete loss for words and instead lets her emotions flood through. You feel it all, her anger, her hate, loss and grief. Her pain, all the pain she suffered after the fight, the fire in her body as an aftereffect from the lightning she took from the first fight, everything. You feel everything she felt, all the pain and doubts she suffered over the years, working towards this moment. But now that it's here, that she has finally won, you can sense the emptiness in her. And understand that she was expecting to feel....More. You understand that it still doesn't feel real to her.

“Chaya, you did it. You won.” you think to her. “You did it. Look up.”

And she does, looking up to see the announcer's pod dropping down towards her.

“That's it folks, we have a new Champion!” Dallas announces, the pod dropping down by your sister. “Or, rather, our former Champion has regained her throne! How does it feel to be back, Champion Chaya?”
“Champion....” your sister says, still looking a bit shell-shocked. But as Dallas holds out his microphone to her, suddenly your sister snaps back to the present. Taking the microphone, she speaks in it directly to your sister. “Hey Cauli, mind giving us a hand down here? She's not going to last much longer.”
“Oh really, you're still choosing to save her life?” Juanita asks, raising a metal brow. “Even after everything that's happened between the two of you, all the betrayal, you refuse to let her die? Why is that?”

-BACK TO KARN'S POV-

“Despite everything, she's still one hell of a fighter.” Chaya says, Caulifla and her Triumph Requiem appearing right behind Chaya as she talks. “Letting her die here for losing would be a waste.”
“Aren't you worried that she could come back even stronger, ready to take the title back in a few years?” Dallas asks, somehow holding another microphone despite Chaya holding his. “After all, what if she takes another page from your book, departing only to return exponentially stronger?”

“If she doesn't, I'd be disappointed.” your daughter replies as the golden light of Caulifla's chime washes over everyone, lighting them all with faint golden light. Except the robotic announcer, who is unphased by the healing magic. “She beat me before because I got complacent. But that was my own fault, not hers. So killing her over my mistake isn't right.”
“You have a rather... Interesting moral compass. But regardless, welcome back Champion Chaya. Do you have anything to say to the people of the universe?”

Chaya steps forward from the announcers, holding the microphone Dallas gave her as she speaks directly into it.

“First, I want to thank my family for all they've done. Especially my daddy, for being harsh. I know I said some things I regret, but it's thanks to you that I'm standing here as the winner today. And not dead in the ground on an alien world in a misguided, reckless attempt to get stronger. And I want to thank everyone who helped me train along the way, including my fellow former champion Soba, my brothers Chilli and Broly, Mr. Perfect Cell, my momma and daddy, and everyone else who helped out. And, lastly, I want to thank you.”

As Chaya says this she turns, facing the woman who just moments ago was trying to kill her as Caulifla pulls her up to her feet. Next to your third daughter the other two women look like girls, Cauli towering over them both.

“If you hadn't nearly killed me, pushed me to the edge and forced me off my throne, I would have remained complacent and weak until someone else came along and killed me. So, for that, I gotta say thank you.” Chaya says, dropping the microphone and holding her hand out towards Tanya. Who looks at it in disbelief, looking up from the offered hand to Chaya's face and back, before settling on looking in your daughter's eyes.
“Are you sure about this?” Tanya asks her, a teasing edge to her voice. “You're not gonna get another chance to finish me off so easily.”
“I'm counting on it.” Chaya replies, Tanya smirking before taking Chaya's outstretched hand.
“Is it over?” Meloka Wolbach asks your son, your granddaughter looking a bit confused. Clearly not getting what happened at the end. But she will in time, no doubt. One day she will understand.
“Yeah, it's over.” your son says, but then turns to you and Meloka. “But there's one thing I don't get. What was that attack she used? How did she gather so much power without it blazing so bright I couldn't help BUT to sense it?”

“That was the Spirit Bomb.” your wife answers, you turning to her as she explains. “As Cell explained to your sister and I, the Spirit Bomb is a technique that doesn't use your own ki. Instead, you use a small bit of energy from every single willing living being on the planet you're on, combining it all into a single attack. But it was even bigger than Cell said it would be.”
“Well, that part is obvious.” Broly says, you looking over to your son as he stands back up, stretching out. “She has fans all over the universe, not just a few planets. I saw her numbers before when we worked out and sparred together on one of her streams. If even half of that number all gave one percent of their power, that would be insane. I'm surprised she didn't blow up the planet, throwing that much power around.”

“Good job kiddo.” you think to your daughter, Chaya turning back to the camera and giving you a beaming, brilliant smile. She did it. Now, all that's left is to see that she doesn't make the same mistake again. With the battle now over, Chaya talking with the announcers while another ship comes down, a woman roughly Chaya's height running out and hugging the tiny general and lifting her off the ground before Caulifla returns to you all, you taking Chilli's family home before returning home yourself. As you do, Kayle and Maz run off, saying they have a ship to catch. “Hold on, what's this about catching a ship?”
“We're goin' to Planet Tatsu!” Kayle says, your brows going up at the sudden news.
“Yeah! Mister Doctor Daiko said that he needs us to test his monsters, now that they've acc... Accla...Eekamma....” Maz says, clearly struggling to remember a specific word.

“Acclimated?” Okira asks, your second-youngest son's eyes lighting up.
“Acclimated, that's it! You're so smart sis!” he says, your youngest blushing a bit at his honest praise. “Now that the monsters are acclimated, he wants us to go fight them!”

Welp that one anon should be happy that Chaya spared Tanya. While I would've been fine with Tanya dying as a result of "Talk shit, get hit" or "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes" by pulling a stunt like this. I have to say Chaya has really grown up from this trip and come to understand precisely her faults and why things ended up like this. And she's lucky that she got humbled by Tanya rather than losing her life to someone worse. I think by doing this she all but reassured everyone she won't ever be complacent again. I do think she should still from time to time challenge people elsewhere to keep improving herself, not solely expect them to come to her arena. But that's just me.

You know what I mean. Not that you literally gave it to her. Now I only hope she remains consistent in keeping up her training and pursuing an alternative transformation to fall back on when she can't use her divine powers. We don't know exactly if the soul can be trained and honed to increase its mana amount, at least not without diving into learning magic.

“Alright, just let me know when you've made it.” you tell them, taking a knee and ruffling each of their hair with a smile. “I'm curious how it all looks.”
“Will do!” Maz says, snapping his heels and actually giving a proper Saiyan salute. Which Kayle copies a second later, also trying to look serious. So you hold in your laugh, pushing yourself back up to your feet and returning the gesture. Then once you do they both fly up at you, hugging onto you before flying over to their mother, hugging her as well before flying off towards the city.

“Not going to tell them to be careful?” Caulifla asks, you shaking your head.
“They've heard it all before. Besides, anything like that I tell them today won't stick in their heads once they leave.” you reply. “Better to tell them once they're planetside.”
“Well, I can't disagree with that.” your daughter says, disappearing for a moment. Before returning, holding onto her spear and with her tiny medallion around her neck. “I gotta go help someone else out, I'll be back soon.”
“Have fun.” you tell your daughter as her figure is wreathed in that dark blue energy, her soul going off to fight someone in another timeline. Everyone else goes about their day as usual, you slipping back into the usual routine with ease. The rest of the day passes uneventfully, Chaya coming home around suppertime to eat with everyone. But as the day winds down she takes off again, not teleporting but flying out of the ship somewhere. You have your suspicions as to who she's going to go see, but leave her to it. That's her business.

Time passes, the days all seemingly melding together until, one evening a few weeks after Chaya's win, you and Meloka are getting ready for bed when suddenly your wife turns, lunging towards you. She buries her face in your chest, squeezing you tight as you suddenly feel something wet against your chest.

“Mel? Everything okay?” you ask her, immediately worried. But she doesn't immediately tell you, you feeling her sobs as her entire body convulses with each. You have no idea what's wrong but hold onto her, hugging and trying to comfort your wife despite not knowing what's wrong. Only that something has to seriously be wrong for her to suddenly break down like this. You hold her for what feels to be somewhere between six and eight minutes before she finally pulls her face from you, looking up into your eyes with her red, watery eyes.
“I'm sorry.” she says, looking absolutely devastated. “I'm so sorry Karn.”

“Mel, what's wrong?” you ask, her absolute state worrying you even more. “Talk to me, what's going on?”
“I was talking with Dr. White, as well as the others. Trying to figure out what's wrong with me. But I just can't.” she says through her sobs. “I've tried and tried, but I just can't do it.”
“Can't do what? Meloka, you're not making any sense.” you say, holding her while sitting back on the bed, still holding her to you. “What's wrong? Tell me everything.”

“The doctors all said that I'm done. I didn't want to believe it, but its true. I'm not fit to be a wife anymore.” she says, collapsing into sobbing once more. You immediately tell Broly and Kori, who're approaching the door telepathically that you all need a minute, not to come in before severing the link, focusing back on your wife.
“What do you mean, not fit to be a wife?” you ask, still not understanding. “Mel, what did they tell you? What's going on, you're worrying me.”

Your wife tries to take a deep breath, taking over a minute to try and compose herself before looking up into your eyes again.

“I can't do it anymore. I can't have any more of your children.” she says, breaking down and collapsing against you as she sobs. “I'm no longer fit to be your wife!”
“What do you mean, you can't?” you ask her gently, rubbing her back as you talk. “Talk to me hun, what did they say?”
“They ran their tests, and whatever happened that made Karn Jr possible, they said it burned my body out. The eggs, I think, they said I can't make any more no matter what I do. And that it doesn't matter what else they do, I can't become pregnant again. We won't have any more kids together, no matter what I do.”

And she dissolves once more into hysterical crying, you holding your wife to you as you process what she'd told you. You had thought it odd, that even after all these years after your last son's birth that she hadn't gotten pregnant again. But, from what you pieced together through her sobs she's now no longer able to have children.

Well? How do you react to this news?
>Ask her if she really wants to have more children, or if she's just upset that she doesn't have the choice to anymore?

“What? Hold on, slow down. What does you not being able to have kids anymore have to do with you being my wife?” you ask her, still confused but at least think this is what she meant. “Weren't more than two of our kids born before we even got married anyways?”
“But that's different!” she says, sounding upset. “I was able to have kids back then! But now....”
“Meloka. Did... Do you really think that I would leave you if you couldn't have kids anymore?” you ask her, seriously concerned. “Were you really worried I'd leave you over this?”
“But, but you love having kids! If I can't even do that, what I'm supposed to do, then what.... What's the point? I'm useless as a wife now.”

“Mel...” you say, grabbing your wife and hugging her to you as you're lost for words. You hold her tight, your wife pressing herself to you as well. “I'm not leaving you hun, that's not your fault what happened to you.”
“But it is. At least, they think so.” your wife says, sounding defeated and dejected.
“What do you mean?” you ask her, brows furrowing. “What happened?”
“Dr. White. He thinks it was because of Karn Jr.” she says, pulling her face from you and meeting your gaze. “He thinks that, due to the stress of maintaining Super Saiyan 3 for the whole pregnancy of our last son, that it burned my system out. It took everything my womb had to keep him going, to birth our last son as a Super Saiyan. To keep him alive, instead of what happened....”

“So, in exchange for our last son to be born, happy and healthy and without any issues, you can't have any more kids now?” you ask her, your wife nodding through her tears. “Well, I'd consider that a fair deal.”
“Huh?” your wife asks, looking shocked. “What do you mean?”
“If I had to choose between you being able to try again later and losing another one, or having our last son born healthy, I'd take how it worked out for us with OUR son. Every. Single. Time.” you tell your wife seriously, her lip trembling before she can't help but smile before burying her face into your chest again, her body wracked with sobs once more. You hold your wife close as she cries out, but you can tell it is no longer from a place of fear or sadness. But in relief, letting out the emotions she can't express with words.

You hold your wife until her sobs stop, raising her teary-eyed gaze back up to your own.

“T-Thank you.” she says, smiling as she meets your gaze. “Sorry for that. I must seem ridiculous for getting all worked up over this.”
“It's fine hun, I'm glad you're feeling better.” you tell her, reaching up with your left and placing your hand on her head. Ruffling her hair as she lets off a little laugh, shaking her head as she smiles. “Come on, let's go on to bed Mel.”

You hold your wife, falling backwards onto the bed. Only for Meloka to get a familiar gleam in her eye, your wife straddling you and leaning in.

“Doesn't mean we have to stop doing this.” your wife whispers in your ear, grinning as she leans back, rubbing herself against you seductively. And you're sold, reaching up and grabbing your wife by her hips as you agree with her. And despite knowing you won't have any more children with your wife, that doesn't mean the act isn't still a good time.

i think i wouldve liked to see tanya actually pull through. really get schemes that actually put chaya through the ringer and push her to and beyond her limits. but i suppose a human souped up on fanaticism is gonna hit empty before a sayain kicks the bucket 9 times outa 10.
woulda been psyched as hell if they somehow came to a full on draw.

She would have had to have had backup, as Chaya's fanbase was nearly double Tanya's own. And for those of her followers, they were able to chat on Chaya's stream as she hosted it from the ship's interior, using all their power to forge the Spirit Bomb. And, funny thing about the divine forms is they're not a multiplier off the same way other Super Saiyan forms are. Not exactly. So Chaya splitting before transforming one body meant that, while in her divine form, that Chaya was just as strong as ever. Which is what kept Tanya from noticing anything wrong, as she can't sense normal ki.
>>

>as she can't sense normal ki

Extremely warped, cringe, and delerious persective but I'm honestly glad this happend before we had to ask"what happens when God Meloka and Beserker Karn have a kid?" Because I can think one answer to that, and it ain't pretty. Or it's thermonuclear

Did Tanya's trick pernemantly reset chaya's divine process meter?

The day after learning your wife's terrible news, right after finishing training your students for the day and dismissing them, you receive a telepathic update from the youngest twins. Who have been in contact daily, usually complaining about how the only things to do on the spaceship are to spar and train in the gravity room. To which you and your wife had recommended trying to come up with new and interesting techniques, something to help pass the time. Which had helped them, both kids having their own brand-new surprises for the creatures that crawled out of the depths of Daiko's people's lab.

“We finally made it! We're about to touch down!” your daughter Kayle thinks to you.
“Hey, no fair! I wanted to tell Daddy, you already told Momma!” Maz complains, you chuckling to yourself before addressing them.
“Finally made it, huh? Alright, are you both ready to go?” you ask them, to which both answer in the affirmative. You turn to your wife, who is already waving at you to go with a smile while her hand is on your youngest's back.
“Byeeeee!” Karn Jr says, your wife having turned even more protective of him after the other day's news. “Have fun!”
“I'm not gonna be gone long, just taking a look around is all.” you reply, waving with your left as you raise your right to your forehead, focusing on Maz's energy. Then with a thought leave New Salda behind, appearing beside the two of them. “Are you both ready?”

“Ready!” Maz says, puffing out his chest and putting his fists on his hips, trying to cut a more imposing figure. A moment later she copies him, which looks rather adorable, coming from a pair of 9 year olds.
“Hang on, we're about to begin atmospheric entry now.” a voice comes out over the ship's speakers, your daughter rushing over and turning the gravity chamber off. Then the three of you exit the reinforced area, going out into the ship proper and seeing the planet below through the driver's front. The ship is already past the planet's ring, approaching the yellow-tinged world and descending towards it. “They're expecting the two of you planetside to begin your briefing, save your questions for them, understood?”

“Yes sir!” both of your twins answer seriously, saluting the pilot even with his back turned. So you remain quiet, not saying anything as the ship enters the atmosphere. Entering a planet you vaguely remember seeing.

As the ship flies down you get to see Planet Tatsu, formerly Planet Vampa. You recognize the little native bugs feeding on the green 'seas' in each crater, only to wake the giant worm creatures up, which in turn try feeding on the bugs. The circle of life, playing out before your eyes. But then the ship starts flying towards the first signs of civilization, an area with an electrified fence surrounding a landing area for regular ships as well as five impact landing zones for the attack pod ships. You see there are a few Attack Pods stored off to the side of one of the three buildings, perhaps just enough for the staff to escape, should their defenses fall?

“Don't go oogling the defenses too much kids, those are for the adults. You're not gonna spend much time behind that safety perimeter fence.” the pilot says, his tone starting to annoy you. So, you decide to speak up.
“Perhaps you should join them.” you say, startling the man so badly her jerks the controls, whipping his head around to see you standing there behind your twins. His purple complexion gets a few shades whiter as he sees you, then immediately whips his head around back and levels out the ship.
“G-G-General Karn! I-I had no idea you would be joining us, sir!” the pilot replies, voice trembling with worry. “I a-a-apologize for my tone, I was just-!”
“Save it.” you say, cutting his stuttering, nervous stream of words off. To which both of the twins giggle, and even without Bane's help you can smell the fear radiating off of this man. With his powerlevel smaller than the bugs wandering the planet's surface, there's no way he'd survive more than a day outside the fence.

But you don't say anything more about it, letting your silence speak for you as the ship lands, the three of you disembarking. Walking out the back hatch, there seems to be a group of people waiting for you. And, to your surprise, at the front are the Head Scientist Daiko and B7!

“Ah, General. I hadn't expected you to be joining us today or we'd have had more to eat prepared.” he says, tone slightly apologetic. “Will you be staying for the briefing I'll be giving Maz and Kayle, or...?”

Well?

“Yeah, I'll stick around for a bit and see what the two of them are getting themselves into.” you reply to him, the head scientist nodding once before turning his attention to the kids.
“Very well, if you all would follow me.” Daiko says, you all following him towards the largest building. B7 and yourself bring up the rear, you addressing the Saldaman.
“What're you doing way out here?” you ask him, the two of you walking side by side.
“I came along to protect the site itself.” the Saldaman replies. “I'm the only one here able to stop those Scyther, since they can fly over the walls at night. As well as the other creatures.”

“Other creatures?” you ask, the small being smirking. “What do you mean?”
“Just wait for the presentation, you'll see.” he says, then he turns, looking out towards a nearby rock formation. You expand your ki sense, and to your surprise sense more than a dozen creatures lurking within. Each are quite powerful, far stronger than Daiko or the other non-combatants within the fence. Three of those creatures lurking have at least a six-figure powerlevel, surprisingly strong but not at the same level as your twins. Or even B7, who's nearly as powerful as the two of them are. “You all go on ahead, I'll handle this.”

“Right. Stay safe B7.” you tell him, sharing an understanding nod before he leaps up on top of the building. The rest of you all go inside, Daiko standing before a wall-mounted screen, a half dozen seats facing it.
“Please, everyone have a seat and we'll begin.” the head says, you and your children all sitting down as he clicks a button on a handheld remote, changing the screen. “Now, let us begin. First, we'll be airdropping the two of you from Attack Pods down at the first landing site, where you will have to survive for twenty four hours. Once the 'crash' site is secured, you all will move on here, towards this village.”

He clicks the remote again, once more changing the view. Your jaw drops as you see it, emotions swelling as you recognize the village there. That was YOUR home! You'd recognize it anywhere, that was your home village back on Planet Vegeta right before the end of the Saiyan-Tuffle war.

“Everything alright, General?” Daiko asks, you nodding silently. “Very well. Once the two of you have fought your way to the village, you will need to restore it to livable conditions. Exterminate the creatures that have infested the buildings and rebuild the bonfire in the village center, using whatever means. Then, once that has been completed, you all are to return to us here. Now, any questions?”

“That's your cue, do either of you have any questions?” you ask the kids, who both look back and forth from you to Daiko a moment.
“Ummm. Mister Daiko. Why do we have to defend the pods for a whole day for?” Maz asks him hesitantly. But Daiko immediately answers, as upbeat as you've ever seen him.
“A good question. As someone who hasn't gone out on an attack mission yet, of course you don't understand.” he replies, changing the image once more. This time to a shot of several smashed Attack Pods. “These ships are, after all, how most fighters travel to and from planets. Now, say you're touching down on an alien world, with the intent of massacring the locals. But your ships get destroyed. Without your father's help or that teleporting technique, how would the two of you ever get home?”

Silence hangs in the air as the twins think that over, their eyes widening and jaws dropping as they realize the predicament they'd be in.

“O-Ohhhhhhh! NOW I get it!” Kayle answers first. “We'd be trapped!”
“Exactly. THIS is the reason your ships must be protected! Now, how you'll go about protecting them is up to you, some people would bury their pods while others would destroy a wide area around the ships, making sure nothing could approach undetected. But the how is up to the two of you. Any more questions?”
“Is there any really, REALLY dangerous monsters we gotta watch out for?” Kayle asks, a hint of nervousness in her tone. “Most of the monsters here don't seem too scary, but I can sense one really big something out there. Is it friendly?”

“Ah yes, you both know how to sense ki. Good. What you're sensing is one of our newest creations.” he says, changing the slides once more. This time bringing up a much larger, barrel-chested version of their Scyther monsters on screen. Devouring the face of one of the giant worm-like creatures native to this planet. It no longer has the bladed arms, but now has sharp-looking spines all over its back as well as the end of its tail. “We call it Tyran. Hrmm, let me see.”

Daiko then takes a scouter from the table near the screen, flicking it on and aiming at the two of them. You immediately focus, powering down to avoid distorting the machine's readings, or worse causing it to detonate. He nods to himself, turning the scouter off and addressing them again.

“Tall me, can either of you go Super Saiyan?” Daiko asks, to which your kids grin while sharing a look, getting up out of their chairs.

“HAAAAAA!!” the two shout, both taking on their Super Saiyan forms simultaneously. Their golden auras blaze, Daiko seeming unphased and simply nodding to them.
“Good. If you encounter Tyran, we'd recommend not fighting it unless you're in this form. It is powerful, far stronger than any other beast on this planet. But even WITH the power of a Super Saiyan, I'd still suggest fleeing.”

“Really? Why is that?” you ask, intrigued. “I can sense it from here, its strength is only probably a couple million.”
“Only a couple million right now.” Daiko corrects you, switching slides again. Only to show a video of the monster mid-attack, firing a beam of energy from its mouth through one of those beast's chests, punching straight through it and cutting it in two. “Its powerlevel surges as it unleashes this attack, much like your own Final Flash attack.”

“So it's really strong.” Maz says, you recognizing that look in his eyes. He wants the challenge.
“Indeed. Be cautious, should you choose to challenge it. Now, any more questions?” Daiko asks, the kids sharing a look before looking to you. But when you don't offer any more they turn back to him, saying they're ready. “Very well. Now, before you two head off, we have prepared a meal for you of the local cuisine thanks to B7's hunting, to prepare you for what to expect.” What sorts of things are edible, and which are unexpectedly poisonous. If you will follow me.”

He turns to head to the door, your twins looking to you before following him.

“Good luck you two.” you say, dropping down to a knee and hug the two of them for a moment before letting go, rising back up to your feet. “If you really need me, let me know.”
“Okay!” Maz replies, but you can tell he's still thinking about that beast Tyran.
“Will do!” Kayle says, the two then running off after Daiko as he leaves the room. Left alone you turn around, walking back out into the midday air. You take a deep breath, then decide on what to do next.

With your kids having all they need to succeed, you raise your right back to your forehead, teleporting back to New Salda at your wife's side. The rest of the day is uneventful, you and Meloka talking to the twins before heading off to bed yourselves. The next day, Tatsu and Tomi tell you both that they're going with their team on another mission, you wishing them luck as well before they head off with their team. Chaya heads of as well, going to do something for Dreadzone. But then, for the rest of that day, you notice the missing hole their absence leaves in your daily schedule. With six of your children gone, leaving only you and your wife, Caulifla, Broly, Okira and Karn Jr your table that evening in the ship's mess, it feels quite empty. Something everyone else notices as well.

“Wow. It's really quiet, huh?” Caulifla asks after you all finish eating, the uncomfortable silence hanging over the room. “It's usually a lot louder.”
“Yes. At first, getting used to your large family was rather difficult.” Koriand'r adds in, clearly happy to chase the silence away. Before looking back to Broly, a gleam in her eyes. “But I am rather glad I did. Thank you again for taking me in.”
“Of course.” you reply, then after a moment's thought add in. “Speaking of, have you been meeting with Ticho?”
“Yes, she's quite the quick learner!” Kori adds, expression brightening. “My niece is rather talented, she's far above where I was in competency at her age! Watching her development has given me quite the encouragement.”

“Encouragement?” you ask, Broly suddenly jumping a bit and his cheeks reddening a bit. You aren't sure what she did to him under the table, but then you understand what she means. “Ah. I see.”
“Dad...” Broly says, his face brightening as he's clearly embarrassed by this. But the youngest two don't understand, looking from you to Broly and back, clearly confused. But Meloka surprises you the most by reaching out, laying her hand atop Kori's and meeting the young woman's gaze.
“I'm sure you will make an excellent wife and mother, when you decide the time is right.” your wife says gently, you hearing a slight hint of pain in her voice. Meloka's clearly not over her own loss, no longer being able to have children of her own. But the others clearly don't hear it, Kori beaming to your wife.
“Thank you. From such an exceptional mother like you, such words are high praise.” Kori says seriously with a smile. “When I do, I shall work hard to make sure I'm worthy.”

The days go on by, after a week Kayle tell you that they're done on Planet Tatsu and heading home. You ask if they'd rather be teleported back, but agreeing. You teleport to the twins, and to your surprise as you arrive find the massive beast you'd seen from Daiko's images before is laying dead in the center of the base, two of the buildings smashed to pieces.

“What happened here?” you ask, confused.
“We got it!” Kayle shouts happily, turning to her brother. “Maz, Daddy's here!”
“Just in time!” your son shouts, you turning to see him emerging from the beast's guts, holding a steaming, cooked slab of meat he'd clearly cut from it. “Here, try some!”
“Well, don't mind if I do.” you tell him, taking the slab and tearing a chunk off. The flavor is surprisingly spicy, but not bad, a rather unique flavor for meat. And as the two of them describe their time here, fighting monsters in the dark of night, sweeping through the recreation of the village and fighting the Scyther monsters in close quarters, both gained a lot of valuable experience. You also notice that they're both roughed up, but neither have any wounds that seem very serious. “Sounds like you both learned a lot.”

“Yeah! I can't wait to come back!” Maz says, emerging back from the beast with several more slabs of meat, all ready to be ki-fried. “If you'll give me a minute, I'll have enough for everyone then we can go back home. Daiko said we could eat it, as long as we leave enough for him to make another one back home.”
“Speaking of, where IS Daiko?” you ask, not sensing the scientist anywhere on world. In fact, you don't sense ANY Saiyans other than your children nearby, and B7 is seemingly on damn near the other side of this world. “Where is everyone?”
“When Tyran broke down the fence, they all ran away in their ship.” Maz says. “We stayed behind with B7 to make sure the big monster didn't destroy their ship with its stinky breath attack.”

“They got away, and we got this big monster ourselves.” Kayle brags. “And we even saved some of the buildings, too!”
“Looks like you two had one hell of a time, glad you made it out alright.” you say, Maz emerging with the last of the cuts from the monster's ribs. “Let's head on home.”
“B7 said he'll stay behind once we're gone, to make sure no monsters take up residence in the base.” Kayle says. “He said that he's gonna get our pods and bring them back, then wait here until the ship returns.”
“Then I suppose we can wait for him to get back.” you say, wondering just how powerful that monster was that it needed both twins and B7 to take down.

B7 confirms their story once he returns, declining the offer to return to New Salda with you all. He praises how strong the twins have become, that they're now even stronger than himself. You tell him that if he needs anything, anything at all while he stays there to let you know and you'll be right over, the Saldaman thanking you and promising he would before you return home. With the younger twins back the schedule again returns to a more normal state, the weeks passing until one morning, while you and Chaya train at 60x New Salda's gravity first thing, your eldest-born son reaches out to you.

“Hey, are you doing anything tomorrow?” he asks you out of the blue.
“I don't have anything in particular planned, other than training. What's going on?” you reply, not sure what he's getting at.
“Well, tomorrow's the first day of the new year. Meloka Wolbach's second birthday.” he says, you realizing what he means.
“Of course we'll be there.” you say before he can continue. But as he does, you notice something different in his tone.

“Mind having everyone show up in their armor?” Chilli asks, his question confusing you a bit.
“Sure, but is there a reason?” you ask, then after a moment's thought. “Besides those damn Time Patrol bastards?”
“No no, we're doing her birthday there at Towa's the day after so we don't have another fight with them on our hands.” he says. “No, this is about, well....Sending a message.”
“What do you mean?” you ask him, wanting to make sure you understand going in. “To who?”
“Tomorrow, for my daughter's birthday, I'm going to be leveling a fortress. One that has never fallen to send a message to EVERYONE on my planet.” he tells you, a surprising level of anger in his emotions as he communicates. “I'm going to make an example out of the so-called Demon King, to show everyone the consequences of coming after my family.”

“Looks like your son takes more after you than you thought.” Bane adds in, the specter's thoughts not reaching your son. But you can't help but agree with him, letting him know that you will be there. But as he ends the mental link, you can't help but wonder what happened to upset him so greatly? What did this 'Demon King' do to piss your son off to this extent, that he'd wipe him and his people off the face of the map? But you don't ponder on it long, as you're sure to find out soon. And as you continue training, you wonder just what sort of show he has in mind?

And that's it for this episode, did everyone enjoy the ride? Ready to be one year closer to Beerus's arrival, to see what power or ability Chilli's concocted to destroy the strongest magical barrier on his planet? Curious what the others have been up to, and how relations between characters will continue developing? All this and more, NEXT TIME ON SAIYAN CONQUEROR QUEST!

>>5670006
Once again, I am immensely proud of our kids. I'm also excited to help Chilli demonstrate the might of the Saiyan race to the inhabitants of that backwater, just like old times.
>>
>>5670008
>I'm also excited to help Chilli demonstrate the might of the Saiyan race to the inhabitants of that backwater, just like old times
Not... Quite. He's not going for a more traditional Saiyan approach to shock and awe, rather a more Covenant one. Digging deep into some of his earliest, darkest memories of the Siege.
>>
>>5670030
>Covenant
Ah. I see.
They should have listened, the poor bastards.
>>
>>5670030
>Glassing
I know it will get the point across, but I can imagine Karn having mixed feelings with Glassing....
>>
>>5670035
He's going to reduce the Demon King's fortress to ashes.
>>5670037
Karn will be surprised by what he sees. Chilli's newest creation will be impressive, but slightly horrifying.

Kori gonna make Broly an army. Good thing he is used to raising kids.

THAT'S OUR KIDS, KILLING GOJIRAS JUST LIKE PAPA!

Our Bean son is good people. And now its our Granddaughter's Birth day! Time for a grand show.
>>5670050
That's our edgy weeb son, he's been Shojoing it up, but its time remind people he's tortured past Senin Saiyan nuttery. True SS material.

He may be more like his biological father, who knows?
It was Karn's first mission off-world where he encountered his first dragon, the one that gave him his cheek scar.

I'm only cautious about what's left since it feels like we've done the vast majority of stuff that should be addressed or are fun to do. I don't want this to be a meandering filler rest or hardcore training session with nothing of enriching value until we get to the 200 number for the reveal like it's Nu-Shonen, especially One Piece. Lesser GMs would do that and I know you're better than that. But I rather have assurance rather than pussyfooting assumptions.
>>
>>5670125
yeah but everyone knows Tamaraneans are sluts and Saiyan's ain't know for their use of birth control.

>I'm only cautious about what's left since it feels like we've done the vast majority of stuff that should be addressed or are fun to do
There's not a lot to address before Beerus arrives. But there may be calls for help. And a certain other....Well I don't want to spoil. But we have at least one last big fight before Beerus's arrival.
>>5670176
Ha. But is Broly one who'd just go with someone else's flow?

>>
>>5670239

Yes, but only when he realizes there's nothing to "control" in the first place. But even Karn hasn't gotten to that point yet.
>>
>>5670249
You’ve got maybe one more encounter with his work in this lifetime. But we’ll see how it plays out
>>5670252
The last dozen times he lost control of his emotions and just followed them, he hurt people. People he cared about. Which is why he was so easily able to control the Primal form, his ENTIRE LIFE has been about suppressing and dominating his emotions

Alright, time for your regular bombardment with questions.
How likely are Broly's kids to have the Legendary mutation?
Is Maza any closer to achieving his rightful throne?
When are Chaya and Raditz gonna have some kids?
Is Silver thinking about retiring any time soon?
Would Bane be able to point us towards any Sith artifacts or fonts of the Dark Side that we could use to get stronger?
Has there been any increase in Saiyans pursuing education or training in some kind of trade or craft?
If House Vadam exists on Sangheilios, has Thel been born yet?
How many years does Cold potentially have left?
Is Frieza going to be present for the battle with Beerus?
Is Cooler ever gonna get around to challenging us once again? He's taking his sweet time I'll say that much.
Would Daiko's team be able to reconstruct the Kryptonian genome if they had enough samples?
Would it be possible to have Chilli infuse our Berserker Ki into an enchanted blade if we could get it into a vessel first?
Has Jergal considered offering Meloka Jr. a position similar to her father's when she's of age?
Did the science team ever manage to finalize the design for those combat EVA suits?
And what about that power armor they were working on way back when?
>>
>>5670186
> One last big fight before beerus
Okay, fine I can accept that. I've already come to the conclusion that we probably won't start digging into the SSG ritual ourselves and the people who did probably don't want to tell us atm in order to avoid waking Beerus up early.
>>
>>5670391
He himself is dead and gone, but there’s one final project he had a hand in out there somewhere…
>>5670496
As likely as yours.
He is certainly at his strongest. But that title would have to wait for a certain goddess’s downfall.
If they get back together, who knows?
Yes, which is why he’s been training so many.
No, not after so many years. Any residual power would have no doubt faded long ago.
Some have, mostly due to wanting something to do now that peace is here.
Perhaps, but if he was did he survive the razing? Freeza was understandably angry when he heard you almost died.
Good question, as even he doesn’t know.
Absolutely, he wouldn’t miss it. He wants to try his hand as well.
When he’s ready
No.
>Would it be possible to have Chilli infuse our Berserker Ki into an enchanted blade if we could get it into a vessel first?
Hwut?
No
Yes and yes, but they’re really only suitable for those on the weaker end of the scale. Anyone above 10k will probably break the suits.
>>5670538
That information is still kept hush-hush, King Vegeta doesn’t want deities springing up and waging war on his planet.
>>
>>5670186
>But there may be calls for help.
Is this the Ctarl-Ctarl's problem they were talking about some time ago?
>>
>>5670578
>Freeza was understandably angry when he heard you almost died.
Took me a second to piece this together.
I'm extremely doubtful that Thel would have survived that, which is a shame.
He'd probably be the Kaidon his house and people need most right now.
>>
>>5670623
Not if he was still on the great journey grind.

Also GD, are all sanghelli dropping the "ee" from their names since there's no formal military for them anymore?
>>
>>5670696
>Not if he was still on the great journey grind.
If he was, he's dead for sure. Besides, Thel is reasonable enough to where he could be made to see the lies the Prophets propogated for centuries.
>>
>>5670607
Potentially.
>>5670623
A LOT of Sangheili didn’t make it after that. Everyone on Sanghelios passed away during his rampage.
>>5670696
>>5670701
Depends on if he’s old enough to be part of the new Arbiter’s force, whether he lived or died. But IC you’ve never heard of him
>>
>>5670840
>Everyone on Sanghelios passed away during his rampage.
GD, how many Sangheili are actually left in the universe?
>>
>>5670496
>Would it be possible to have Chilli infuse our Berserker Ki into an enchanted blade if we could get it into a vessel first?
>>5670578
Adding to this question, can Okira say she wants a Sword made of her daddy's Berserk Ki? Will we get an artifact like Chilli's Crystal Sword she just created.
>>
>>5670578
>Perhaps, but if he was did he survive the razing? Freeza was understandably angry when he heard you almost died.
honest question. Which time?
>>
>>5670578
So yeah I don't expect anyone to get an early taste of SSG before Beerus shows up. And there are no other facets to better fine-tune our Berserker 3 past to what it already is so we're as prepared as we can ever be. For better or worse.
>>
>>5670851
More than the total number of Saiyans, but not by too too much.
>>5670862
No. Ki is a LIVING energy, and her power doesn’t affect the living. But speaking of, did she take it back home? Or leave it there?
>>5670888
On Sanghelios. Which is why he massacred the Sangheili.
>>5670905
You’re AHEAD of where I’d originally anticipated, as far as the Berserker 3/God/whatever name is decided for it. But that’s for the OTHER reality’s power, not the one native to your own time. That version won’t look anything like you.

Are they the same thing or was that an evolution progression tree? Like B3 -> God -> Mysterious name

Also, the name would obviously be Titan or Satan related since Antigod doesn't roll off the tongue well for a super form.
>>
>>5670986
>Zenith
But there are at least TWO forms above it, one that you know IC.
>>5671058
To be fair a lot were in the ships during the Siege of New Salda, and even more perished when High Charity bit the dust. Freeza is directly responsible for around 70% of the entire dead Sangheili population.
>>
>>5671096
More than Sangheili, and not all are on New Salda. Only the chieftan you’d fought’s son was brave enough to seek refuge there initially, but their ranks have grown as news spread. Especially post-war.
>>5671240
You have seen the final form Mechikabura knows of, and than the one you have soon gors into it. However, what happens when one combines Berserker power from two alternate realities?
>>
>>5671257
well i meant it for berserker god. and for double berserker god then I dunno, zenith squared?

also, I was thinking about what big fight do we still have to do and we are still due to fight Janemba and Hirudegarn. But we didn't "kill" Buu so I'm not sure if Janemba will still be born the same way, and I'm not sure how Not!Babidi is gonna free Tapion because Guru is sure not going to fall for his acting. But I know a kid who probably would...
>>

Hoi would need to choose whoever he's fooling verrry carefully. He'll either get extremely lucky or told to do a flip

That’s what I’m saying, you have
>Berserker
>Ascended B.
>3?/God?
>unknown
>the form Mechikabura showed
Calling something you IC know is not the peak a Zenith doesn’t work. Could work for the final form, down the road.
>Janemba
Would need a surge of dark ki, but with Buu’s body still in the living world that demon’s arrival isn’t likely.
>Hirudegarn
There are ways to unleash such a powerful being, but all require magic.
>>5671281
Quite a few. But imagine if Hatchiyack waited until NOW to attack, gathering ALL the hate from High Charity first?
Yes. Some paranoid beings would simply kill him and lock the box away in a vault underground, INSIDE another vault.

QM UPDATE/QUESTIONS

I don't know what happened to me, but I just typed out the ENTIRE epilogue today. Hot damn I'm on fire. Going to go over it tomorrow, make sure everything's right before posting it on Thursday. In the meantime, looking back, what's been your favorite moments of the entire quest so far? And your most/least favorite of these now several arcs covering the time skip from the end of the Covenant War to Beerus's arrival? Have you enjoyed these more character-focused episodes before we dive into the higher stakes once more? And are you ready to battle the big bad Destroyer? We're rapidly approaching the climax, one of Karn and Meloka vs the God of Destruction Beerus, are you ready? And since for at least part of the fight you won't get Karn's POV, are you ready for the Meloka move list grand reveal?

>>5671494
If she ever gets a power beyond Apex, we'll see.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 196 Epilogue-

AGE 755, SACRED PLANET OF THE KAIS

“WHAAAAAAT?!” the ancient Kai shouts, falling backwards out of his seat in shock. You're surprised too, but having anticipated his reaction move.
“Za Warudo.” you say, your Stand stopping time for a split second. Just long enough for you to reach down, gently taking the elder by the back and setting him back upright in his seat before resuming time. “Be careful, honored elder.”

“Mhrmm. Thank you Kars.” the elder says, coughing softly into his closed fist as he regains his composure. You are Kars, the ultimate being, the perfect life form. But as you stare into the crystal ball, showing the battle waging down below in the mortal realm, you fell a very real chill at the base of your spine.
“Wh-What did you DO?!” the Saiyan shouts, sounding angry, horrified and shocked in equal measure. But as the tiny one speaks, it isn't entirely her voice. Someone, or something, is also speaking through her.
“False gods cannot be permitted to cause chaos so freely. So, as punishment for your heresy, I have taken away that unearned, godly strength. One like you doesn't deserve to wield the power of the divine.” declares the figure, the voice feeling familiar to you. You've heard that deity before, but where? The woman uses her power to materialize another weapon, this one comically sized compared to the tiny woman. “And now, you face divine justice! Divine Smite.”

The Saiyan transforms into the second level of Super Saiyan, sparks dancing around her body as her divine power is cut off, raising her arms to block the powerful shot. Her body and aura disappear in the explosion and resulting smoke cloud, you turning back to the Elder Kai.

“How did she do that? I didn't think it possible for a deity to be separated from their power like that?”
“It shouldn't BE possible, not for some mortal who recently stole divine power.” Elder Kai retorts, shooting a dirty look at Shin a moment before continuing. “But there's another hand at work here, she's getting help. Another deity is ALSO channeling divine power through that girl Tanya there. One of the Lords of Order, were I to hazard a guess.”
“The Lords of....You mean like that one in the helmet, Nabu?” you ask, a dark look coming over both of the Kais' faces. Which means not only are you right on the mark, but that this is rather frowned upon by the gods. “I take it this means he's stepping outside his bounds?”

“Well, not exactly.” Shin says, you turning towards him as he speaks. “Strictly speaking, there is nothing wrong with ASSISTING another deity in the execution of their duties in the mortal realm. However, since Tanya isn't a proper deity in-an-of herself, but is rather trespassing into the domain of the gods, t-”
“He's flagrantly disregarding the rules on a technicality!” Elder Kai shouts, again letting his emotions get the better of him as the battle continues. But then Chaya roars, silencing everyone as you can all feel it.

“HRRRRYAAAAAA!!!” Chaya roars, SOMEHOW once more ascending to her divine state despite the impossible anti-god sphere Tanya erected around the battlefield.
“What?! No, that's impossible!” Tanya and the other voice shout, the woman immediately leveling her weapon at the Saiyan and firing again. But this time Chaya's ready, detonating the projectile with a small exertion of will before surging forward through the smoke, punching through the girl's weapon and slamming her fist into the smaller girl's jaw. Sending her flying, the Saiyan teleporting up behind her only to slam her down into the ground with groundbreaking force.

“How could she be doing this?” you ask, genuinely curious. “I thought this barrier was supposed to stop that form?”
“And it is. At least, most of its power.” Elder Kai says, seeming the least surprised of you all. Which is a major shift in how he was acting before. “This young Saiyan, mortal though she may be, has amassed quite the following in the mortal realm. And while the barrier does stop their faith from reaching her inside it, she can still draw upon HER faith in them, her desire to do right by those who worship and believe in her to tap into this power. But it comes at a cost.”

“A cost? Like what?” Shin asks, not understanding. But you know, eyes widening in understanding. The power of faith on a wide scale is a conglomerate power, but faith itself comes directly from the soul. From one's own being. Without being able to draw upon those uncounted quintillions of souls, there's only one soul there she can draw from.
“Her soul.” you mutter, Elder Kai nodding in approval before explaining what you'd discovered about divine power to Shin. Who, as a Kai, probably never understood the true nature of divine power as he was born with it. Using it would be second nature like breathing, something one doesn't consciously think of but simply does.

“FINAAAAAAAAL!” the godly Super Saiyan roars, then suddenly just vanishes. She's gone! Or, rather, not gone. Just moved faster than even your eyes can perceive, which must mean she used that Instant Transmission technique. To reappear right behind Tanya, catching her off guard. “FLAAAAAAAAASH!!”

“SHI-!” the combined deities shout, only to both be consumed completely by the blast. But as she is, Tanya erects a godly barrier, one that deflects the titanic energy Chaya is unleashing just around her own body. But as she does, you also notice something else. You'd felt it faintly before, but as the beam is dying out you sense another divine power. One less angry and violent than the two women, but a third source. One free of all dark emotion.

“Elder Kai, do you feel that?” you ask, brows furrowed as he looks to you questioningly. But he doesn't say anything or indicate, so you continue. Either he doesn't know, or wants you to say so he can compare you to Shin once more. And you oblige, as the more Elder Kai can vouch for you, the easier replacing Shin will be in the future. “There's another source of divine energy somewhere on that planet. It's different than the energies they're fighting with, but it is unmistakable.”
“Umm, ehh, excuse me.” a voice you don't recognize suddenly speaks up, you not looking around as it appears directly into your ears, not from a source anywhere around you. But that doesn't stop the gathered Kais from looking around in confusion. And it is Shin who speaks up first.

“North Kai? Is that you?” Shin asks, to which you hear the voice again.
“Yes, please forgive the intrusion.” he says, you wondering who this “North” Kai could be. His existence implies other cardinal directional Kais, but what purpose they could serve is beyond you at the moment. “But I just discovered something CRAZY happening in my quadrant of the universe. Somehow a mortal is down there using MY most secret technique!”
“Your technique?” Shin asks, confused. “North Kai, what do you mean?”
“See for yourself. Do you sense the two mortals wielding divine ki battling it out?” he asks, Shin confirming. “Well, look up in the sky.”

To which Elder Kai adjusts the crystal ball, Tanya taunting Chaya as the Saiyan sees that her attack failed, only to see a ball of pale blue and white light in the sky. And as you see it, you can feel that that is the divine energy you sensed. The energy and faith from uncountable mortals all swells from that orb, you all watching in silence as it just keeps growing.

“What is that?” Shin asks, sounding awestruck.
“Heh heh, that would be my Spirit Bomb technique!” North Kai declares proudly. But then, after a moment of silence adds in a far less enthusiastic tone. “But I have no idea how that technique got out. I haven't taught or even SHOWN it to anyone who doesn't live full time on my little planet here. I haven't the slightest clue how a mortal of all things somehow copied it.”

“I think I know the answer.” Shin says, albeit with a bit of hesitance. You know what he's about to bring up, the Elder Kai looking annoyed a moment before returning his attention to the fight. Where Chaya powers down, only to start powering up a different way, body bulking up massively into that improper powerup state. Sure it has physical and ki power greatly enhanced, but with the debilitating power drain and severely slowed movement and attack speeds, it is ill-suited to combat. But you think you understand her plan, taking a moment to observe everything and can't help but smirk. She isn't using that power to win, she's using its power and durability to stall for more time. “And that would be that that family, the father Karn in particular, have quite an extensive history with Time Travelers.”

“Time Travelers? Hrmm, that is quite something. I bet in another time, for the right cause I could have been persuaded to teach an exemplary mortal my special abilities.” North Kai muses as the fight goes on, the now far smaller woman easily avoiding all the Saiyan's attacks. But as the North Kai rambles on, explaining the technique you keep watching the battle. Until the pace suddenly shifts, as after taking a direct hit without much seeming damage, the Saiyan powering down. Only to have ANOTHER Chaya appear beside the first, still in pristine condition. The one preparing the technique no doubt, but you hadn't been aware the Saiyans could multiply asexually. If they could, then why are their numbers so low?

“I told you before, this fight's already over.” they say, bodies merging back into one. “This ends NOW!” she shouts, swinging both arms down. And down drops the massive attack, North Kai's Spirit Bomb. Tanya seems confused, but as the light gets closer she looks over her shoulder only to see the massive attack dropping right for her. It crashes into Tanya's divine barrier, punching through it with ease and causing it to shatter, the woman throwing up her shield once more just before the bomb drops on her. Chaya and Tanya both disappear in the light, the bomb exploding with enough force to easily have destroyed the entire planet, had it not gone off on contact with the planet's surface. But as the blast fades, the smoke clearing to reveal the Saiyan is still standing. But the entire site of the battlefield is simply gone, replaced by a massive crater. Yet the other so-called deity isn't done yet either.

“Woah. I had no idea my Spirit Bomb could pack such an impressive punch!” North Kai comments into the silence. “I bet a shot with that much power could have even taken down a monster like that Majin Buu.”

“WHAT?! You had a technique capable of stopping that monster's rampage, but let him kill everyone?!!” Shin shouts angrily, North Kai quickly clarifying.
“No no, I didn't have it back then. Majin Buu is WHY I developed the technique.” North Kai says. “I was preparing techniques for if that creature ever returned, that we would have something that could possibly destroy him. I only finished developing the Spirit Bomb in particular three hundred years ago.”

“I see. Please, forgive my outburst. It was uncalled for.” Shin says, getting up and actually bowing.
“No no, no need to apologize. I gave you the wrong impression.” North Kai again clarifies, knowing his place is beneath the Supreme Kai. “I-”

But his next sentence is cut off as you ALL feel it, a massive surge of divine ki from that world once more. You all turn your gaze back to the crystal ball, watching as that entire massive crater is filled with divine light. You sensing that at least two separate deities' power are mixed within. The power she stole, as well as that other power that could well be Nabu's merging together and surging to their maximum.

“I can't lose! Not here, NOT to YOU!” the woman, who now barely sounds like herself shouts, sounding almost deranged. “Insolent mortal! You should learn your PLACE, licking the boots of a REAL goddess!”

Her divine light suddenly surges with that power, firing off twinned bolts of lightning-like energy. Chaya counters with a shield of her own. The merged deities then fire another barrage attack, this one battering down the Saiyan's shield and blasting her. To which she responds just like her father, charging TOWARDS the source of pain and throwing a devastating punch. She strikes Tanya so hard the infantile goddess is slammed to the ground, striking with such force that her halo actually shatters. Everyone going silent at this shocking development. Whoever that other deity was immediately bails, leaving Tanya to fight for herself as the Saiyan slowly drops to the ground and starts walking towards her.

“Hey, umm, this might be improper to ask, but... Whose power was that?” North Kai asks, no doubt also sensing that meddling deity's influence suddenly disappearing. “Aren't we forbidden from playing such a.... *Ahem* Direct role in mortal affairs?”
“Yes. We are.” Shin says, a hard edge to his voice as the two fighters exchange words one more time. “Whoever that was, they have some serious explaining to do.”

“Right, uhh, just, just double checking.” North Kai says nervously, no doubt not wanting to be associated with whoever's breaking the rules. “I'll leave you to that then. Thank you so very much for your time.”

And with that the unseen Kai makes a hasty retreat, leaving you all to yourselves. Shin rises from the table, clearly trying to put on a mask to hide his emotions, but the diminutive Kai is radiating with anger.

“Kars, Kibito, we're leaving.” he says angrily, then turns to the Elder Kai. “Honored elder, I shall return shortly.”
“Yes, yes, go take care of your business. But then hurry back, you hear? I would like another cup of tea, and Kars makes the best tea I've ever tasted!”
“Thank you, great elder. I'm flattered.” you say, bowing as Kibito readies himself to use the Kai Kai teleportation technique to send you all from the divine realm.

“This shouldn't take too long.” Shin says, a hint of annoyance in his tone now at Elder Kai once more praising you.
“Kai Kai.” Kibito says, and you all depart the divine realm once more. This should be.... Interesting.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 196 Epilogue End-
>>
Ya know, if Shin was smart, he'd inform Karn of Nabu's continued interference and let him deal with the problem himself.
>>
>>5672485
Is shin actually motivated to do something? Holy shit.

Excellent job GD
>>
>>5672485
>actually managing to fuck up so bad even shin wants to put his foot up your ass
Nabu/Being X/ whoever the shit this is, you have totally screwed the pooch this time. There's following the laws of order, and then there's pissing off the big big boss of order, you have crossed the line into the latter.
>>
>>5672485
>even Shin is sick of Nabu's shit
And I thought the line couldn't be any bigger. He's in soooooo much trouble
>>
>>5672529
No, this is a godly manner. And a god should mete out consequences.
>>5672608
Right? It’s quite a surprise.
>>5672652
Yeah, thought they’d pull a fast one. But were caught.
>>5672682
We’ll see just how bad eventually. Maybe
>>
>>5672704
>nd a god should mete out consequences.
First time for everything I guess.
Here's hoping Nabu gets stripped of his divinity so we can kick his fucking teeth in for good.
>>
>>5672717
Everyone involved with his shenanigans needs atleast one hit in when he finally gets caught for all the shit he pulled
>Shin takes away Nabu's divine training wheels
>Lobo bludgeons him with the hook
>Boros breaks Nabu's left arm
>Chaya breaks his right
>Frieza death beams his kneecaps
>We break Nabu's spine over our knee
>The entire Karn Clan kick the shit out of him while he's down
>Chilli puts him out of his misery and reaps an overdue soul
>>
>>5672771
Meloka should blow up his eyes just for the extra fuck you. Caulifia healing the damage so everyone gets another redo before Chilli does the finished touches.
>>
>>5672776
>making the sweetest cinnamon roll part of your torture-porn revenge fantasy
Not very cash money of you, bro.
>>
>>5672781
I wasn't the one who wrote the entire thing, just pointing out if he wanted to be accurate then Meloka and Caulifia be putting her two cents. While I know Caulifia is a cinnamon roll, I think even she would have her breaking point with the amount of shit Nabu has done to the universe, not just her family which would be a big indicator. But then I don't see her gleefully healing him endlessly or partaking actually in hurting him. Just giving whatever healing conduit for her powers to activate for someone to use in her stead, while she sit sits outside and far from the act.
>>
>>5672771
If we do eventually get a chance to settle our score with Nabu, I think it'd be best to keep it between us, Chilli, and maybe Chaya depending on whether or not she wants the fight to be broadcast.
>>
>>5672785
>I didn't kick the shit out of that bum, officer, I just put my foot on his ribs after some other guy knocked him out with a brick
>>
>>5672717
Shin won’t go that extreme, past experience should have taught you that.
>>5672771
Ha, but no.
>>5672776
Caulifla’s not a torturer. And Chilli, well… He’d get flashbacks for doing that.
>>5672790
>Chaya
Why? She just broadcast to the entire universe, or at least those who could truly tell. that SHE was better. Other deities have taken note of Chaya’s level of devotion with some level of concern. Especially Whis.
>>5672822
Ha
>>
>>5672485
Shin...you will undoubtedly fuck this up, and Kars will get credit for thinking of just feed him to the God Killer Karn. Kudos for getting MOTIVATED though, just needed that fire lit under your ass.
>>
>>5673023
>shin goes to "deal" with the problem
>gets the shit kicked out of him because the extent of shin's magic is knowing how to make rocks and look into a crystal ball and has not once in his life learned how to just throw a punch despite being physically stronger than the majority of creatures alive
I can't wait.
>>
>>5673059
It's a shame that we couldn't make the vision of Swole Shin come true. Oh well, atleast we have a Kars
>>
>>5673023
That wouldn’t do, can’t having gods deposed by mortals. Lowers the estimation of deities in the eyes of the universe, which lowers ALL of their powers.
>>5673059
He actually has considerable tools, they’re just never seen in use.
>>5673255
Not everyone is destined for gainsness
>>
>>5673342
Yeah that's true, I don't think the Saiyan drive of "Eat, Sleep, Train, Repeat" would be common for the average sapient life form, much less a deity. Except for South Supreme Kai, probably. He was the only cool one.
>>
24 hours until the next episode begins!

>>5673362
He was a warrior, enough for KID BUU to absorb his strength
>>
>>5673366
Things really went down the shitter since Buu was let loose the first time. If only they had dragonballs back then.
>>
>>5673417
Honestly the fact that they let it all happen and then got picked off one by one has shown that the Kais were already fucking useless back then.
>>
>>5673417
If only SHIN KNEW about Dragonballs back then. Fixed for you.
>>5673462
To be fair, Majin Buu was the FIRST to jump the Kais IN THEIR OWN REALM. Getting two out of five before their warrior confronted Buu is reasonable response time. Especially since GSK was weakened from his battle with Moro. Better than Namek losing FOUR of 7 villages before their warriors responded to Freeza’s conquest.
>>
>>5673531
Has Old Kai considered looking for people to act as interim Cardinal Supreme Kais? If Shin gets busted down and Kibito gets promoted, he'd only have to look for one or two.
>>
>>5673342
>Lowers the estimation of deities in the eyes of the universe, which lowers ALL of their powers
Have we/the pto/the news contributed to that? I'd imagine at least ONE of the incidents where they were absent for something karn-level got a footnote
>>
>>5673592
He has to wait until new ones are born. There are Kais, then there are those born to be Supreme Kais. Two totally different fruit from the same tree.
>>5673755
The one event Shin PUBLICLY showed up for (ending the Siege of New Salda) actually increased his devotion overall. He showed up, didn’t DO anything fighting wise and the battle simply ended there and then.
>>
>>5673800
Does time loli get any worship from places outside of conton city?
>CAPTCHA: GODRY
Looks like the mansus is getting antsy
>>
>>5673821
>Does time loli get any worship
I can’t say, because spoilers
>>
>>5673821
i'd say we know she gets worship from other divinities at least, because shes clearly at the top of the totem pole or towards the top.
>>
Soon

>>5673952
Well yes, but that’s only a fraction of her overall power

It's TIME!
