After gaining all seven Dark Dragon Balls, thanks in no small part to Karn and his family's efforts, Mechikabura prepares for his revival: the Dark King's return is nigh! And with their powers gained in the effort to combat the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, Karn and Meloka seek to master the strength of gods in preparation for the coming final battle between the Time Breakers and the Time Patrol. However, despite the PTO now comfortably ruling the majority of the known universe, threats still lurk there in the shadows. Beings who, for their own reasons, seek revenge against the Saiyan race. Will the Saiyans prevail? Or will their efforts all be in vain, overcome by their enemies past, present, and future?

You the players control Karn, the Berserker God with the power to fight against gods and other divine beings. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. Wielding the Berserker Soul, a power born of rage and hatred now combined with That Which Should Not Be, Karn has gained powers suited to facing the divine, and even those who wield the powers of Order, Law, and even Time itself. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed your way? Only time will tell, and your choices could be the difference between victory and defeat, winning and losing, even existence and not.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After traveling via Aku portal to the world of the dead, Karn, Meloka, Leyas and Sarada fought the Abyssal demon Demongo along with his allies he'd found there the dread Stand Carnival Forever Requiem and the wizard Babidi. Karn then subdued a creature for the scientists back on New Salda before learning of his youngest son's newfound power, training him the following morning and the rest of the week until Beerus the Destroyer returned. And as we rejoin Karn, Beerus has accepted your challenge.

“Well, after you.” Beerus says, raising his left hand and gesturing for you to come at him as he hovers slightly above you. “Show me what you can do.”
“HAAAAAAA!” you roar, Berserker God power unleashed as you charge at the Destroyer with everything you've got. Closing the distance instantly you draw your right fist back, only to fire a lightning-quick left jab at his head instead. The Destroyer smirks, dodging your attack by leaning his head to the left. Which you follow up with a heavy right hook, Beerus leaning back and narrowly dodging your strike. However you're not done, using the momentum to spin around into a left roundhouse, heel aimed at his temple. Only for the destroyer to continue his backward rotation, rolling under your strike and kicking you in the chin. “TCH!”

The heavy strike kills your momentum and knocks you back half a step, but you grit your teeth and refuse to be knocked back any further. Beerus seems somewhat surprised at this as he flips back upright, eyes widening slightly as he sees you charging back in. Again you roar, drawing your right back again. But this time you actually swing with your right too early, not striking him with your right and flipping forward into a heavy axe kick instead. Which he once more drifts back just out of range, giving you an opening to close in. Thrusting forward with your left fist, turning the momentum from the flip into your punch. And, with little time to react Beerus catches your left in his own, stopping your strike. As your fist hits his palm the force of the impact blasts out, you hearing everyone below crying out in surprise at the force of the blast. But Beerus, instead of looking surprised or angry is actually smiling.

“Heh, now that's more like it.” he replies, shoving you back away from him. You stop yourself after a dozen yards or so, the Destroyer looking almost eager to continue. “Show me what you can do, Saiyan.”

“Time to take it up a notch!” you shout, blazing your aura then crossing your arms, drawing your aura in and condensing it into your Energy Body. Ki hardening you dash forward, arms out to the sides in a clearly-telegraphed grab. The Destroyer sees you approaching and smirks, jabbing you in the face with a quick left as you charge in. His punch is incredibly heavy, but with your Energy Body active his punch doesn't blow you away. His strike doesn't land true, sliding off your face and letting you keep charging in. His eyes widen a bit, surprised that his attack didn't stop you. “HRRAAAA!”

“What?” he exclaims, looking shocked as you swing your arms around. Before he can escape your arms hit him on the back, pulling him into a bear hug with only his left arm free.
“Gotcha.” you say, smirking and dropping your armor. You let your energy surge, then with a roar unleash everything. “GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
“Whaaaa-?!” Beerus exclaims as your ki explodes out from you. Emerald turns to crimson as you burn through your ki, the explosion crashing against the Destroyer God in your arms. Yet you can feel him resisting, not getting folded by the outpouring of ki. So you end the attack, releasing the Destroyer who is looking at you with narrowed eyes. “That wasn't a bad attack. I actually felt that one. Now, let me show you how it's done!”

Then he raises his right hand at you, and before you can react a wave of unstoppable force blows you backwards. You fly backwards for several seconds before the force of the attack slows, allowing you to stop yourself only to find he's blown you clear of New Salda's atmosphere entirely. And then, from the planet below you see a horrific sight. A massive orb of ki, one radiating with divine power is gathering. It easily dwarfs your own Event Horizon, then the Destroyer sends that orb up towards you. You watch as the attack rises up out of your home's atmosphere, the gigantic attack rapidly closing the distance towards you. The giant orb gets closer and closer, flying far faster than you'd thought it was. Growing exponentially larger, you have only a few seconds to react before it reaches you.

But what do you do? How do you counter this?
>Piercing Fist Mk II through the orb, punch straight through it and down at the Destroyer below
>Avoid it with Instant Transmission, teleport to someone nearby back down on your planet and try to sneak the Destroyer before he realizes you've returned

“Tch. Here goes!” you shout, yet in the vacuum of space there's no noise. You draw your right fist back, gathering and spiraling your ki into an infinitesimally small point, spinning it faster and faster as you continue pouring more power in. Your attack swells, growing larger and larger as the massive orb gets closer and closer, obscuring your view of New Salda entirely. You watch the titanic attack grow closer and closer as you focus your own ki, into the one attack you have to get through this. Then, when it is only yards away, your attack is ready. “NOW!”

With a soundless war cry in the void you charge forward, thrusting your right fist towards the incoming mass of ki. Your spiraling energy, the Piercing Fist Mk II carries you forward, directly into Lord Beerus' overwhelming attack. But while his attack is far stronger than your own, your ki is far more focused. The tight spiraling of the energy behind that razor-thin point punching straight into the Destroyer's mass of energy. You keep charging forward, pushing through until you've cleared straight through his attack. And, without that mass holding you back, rocket back towards your planet.

However, as you draw close, Beerus starts firing a rapid barrage of energy beams at you. His shots all streak through the air towards you, but they actually deflect off of your tightly-spiraling energy, reflecting off at various angles. Yet each hit does slow you down, even with redirecting most of his attacks' energy they still pack quite a punch. And after taking more than a dozen shots directly on your Piercing Fist Mk II's energy, your attack itself starts to fade. The power you'd put into it destroyed by the god's power, it leaves you wide open to the barrage. Forcing you to weave through the beams of ki, Beerus taunting you.

“What's wrong, I thought your attack could go through anything?” he asks, a mocking tone to his voice. “Don't tell me this is all you've got?”
“Tch!” you exhale through clenched teeth, trying to figure out a way to close back in through the barrage. But then, as you narrowly avoid another beam, the Destroyer himself has closed the distance near-instantly, swinging his right for your face. But, as he does, your body moves. Without thinking you feel yourself turning counterclockwise, narrowly avoiding the attack while simultaneously bringing your right up, landing a solid blow to Beerus' cheek. The sudden blow catches the Destroyer off-guard, knocking him back a dozen yards before he regains control and stops his backwards flight. You look down at your fist then back up to Beerus, who is looking at you with a mixture of shock, outrage, and something that might be impressed as he stares at you.

“You-That movement...!” he says, sounding both worried and impressed before taking a deep breath, then to your shock actually takes a fighting stance. You stare the destroyer down, returning to your own fighting stance. However, as you stare each other down, suddenly you feet a powerful, painful shock to your guts. Only to be blown back, looking down and seeing Beerus has driven his foot into you, just below your ribs and robbing you of your breath. Wheezing out you try and swing down at him, but the strike is weak and he easily dodges around it. Flipping up and over your arm to kick you upside the head, sending you flipping and spinning uncontrollably through the air. Tumbling for several seconds you finally stop yourself, only to see Beerus has immediately closed the distance once again.

Only for you to see his attack coming, using the Su Ma to narrowly twist clockwise around his right. His fist barely grazes your cheek as you twist, catching him with a solid left to the jaw that knocks him back a half-step. Probably more to surprise than any damage, your strike still weak because you can't breathe. But the God of Destruction immediately retaliates with a left, only to miss as your spin continues around him. And as his strike whiffs, you twist, bringing your right heel up in a powerful roundhouse to the back of Beerus' head. Your strike knocks him a couple feet forward, the Destroyer letting out a low growl as he stops himself, rising up and turning towards you. Only for you to be on the move again, this time dodging counterclockwise around his left jab. But before you can fire a heavy right with all that momentum Beerus spins as well into a back right elbow at your head. Forcing you to flip backwards, ducking under the attack and kicking up at him with both feet. Your heels slam into his chest, sending the God of Destruction flying higher into the air. The shock of your kicks travel up through your legs and into your guts, shocking your system and causing you to inhale, getting your breath back.

“GUUH?!” you inhale, air rushing into you. As the Destroyer flies back to a stop, you take a couple deep breaths, restoring your breathing to how it should be. He looks to you and growls, surging back towards you. But this time, breathing deeply, you're ready. He closes in, driving his left at you then twisting to a right turning kick as you turn clockwise to dodge the punch. Then, leaning back you avoid the kick and continue the movement to flip under the follow-up left backfist he tries to catch you with. Leaving his jaw open to a kick, your right boot heel smashing into his face. The strike stops him in place and staggers him backwards, you taking the momentum to flip back and reorient on him. Beerus, stopping in place wipes his chin with the back of his left hand, eyes narrowing at you.

He growls, baring his teeth before charging again, and again you focus on the Su Ma technique. You flip, twist and spin through his attacks, narrowly avoiding taking his strikes directly and letting his blows spin you around faster and faster to strike him harder and harder. The Destroyer's wrath growing by the second until he roars, energy exploding out from him in all directions.

“WHAAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, hundreds of ki orbs exploding out from him on all sides. The sudden attack forces you back, dodging and weaving through the barrage as you get some distance from him. He continues the attack for another few seconds, you getting maybe twenty yards back before he stops. Then, once the attack's finished he lowers his arms, looking at you. “Well, I must say your improvement is....Surprising. I hadn't expected your progression to be quite so swift. Impressive.”

Well? How do you respond?

“You think that's impressive? Then take this!” you reply, dropping down out of the air several dozen yards and throwing your arms wide. Then, you start gathering your power out into both of your open hands, strength surging. “Let's see how well you fare against my strongest, most devastating attack!”
“Oh? Well then, hit me with your best shot!” he replies, flying up a little higher into the air as you start creating several orbs of ki out from each hand. “Show me the depths of your power!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF2UgmM2pKs

“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, channeling more and more power into the energies you've gathered. Out past each hand you have nearly a half-dozen orbs growing larger and larger by the second, each growing to the size of your own torso. You pump each one with incredible power before combining them all together. The different energies resist for a few seconds before merging, the ki combining and growing exponentially as they form into twin, spiraling orbs of overwhelming power on either side of your body. The very air trembles as your attack's might reaches critical mass, you swinging both arms forward. You combine the two spiraling orbs of exponentially-expanding power, the two spiraling orbs resisting combining for several seconds. But then, just as they begin merging, you fire. “DAWN BREAKER!!

You unleash your overwhelming power as a gigantic twinned beam, the spiraling energies surge into the air directly up at the Destroyer. Who doesn't dodge your blow, remaining in place as the attack closes in on him. You feel your energy crash into him, the Destroyer unable to resist the full power of your strength as he's blown away. Your attack sends him out of New Salda's atmosphere in a single second, your attack overwhelming him. You feel his power rising to resist your own, then after a few seconds feel his power change. His ki changes from divine ki to his unique Destruction energy, destroying your energy as your attack comes in contact with his own. But it doesn't wholly resist your own strength, you still feeling his energy being pushed back away. Even through his destructive power, he doesn't immediately overwhelm your own. It takes him a second or two to increase his power enough to stop your attack. Feeling that he's now able to resist your strongest blast you end the attack, sighing out as you stop the flow of ki.

“Phew.” you sigh out, lowering your arms and powering down. But not transforming back down, waiting to see how the Destroyer reacts to taking your current best shot.

“Hey Dad, where are you all?” Chilli suddenly asks telepathically. “Are you all coming? Today's Kazuburo's birthday, remember?”
“Oh, right. Sorry, Lord Beerus just showed up a bit ago. I've been sparring with him.” you reply, feeling his surprise through the link. “He and Whis showed up, probably to take your mother back to his planet.”
“I see.” he replies, but before you can focus you sense the Destroyer's ki rapidly approaching. You look up, seeing the God of Destruction seemingly-lazily drifting down towards you.

“Well now, that was quite the impressive attack.” Beerus says, drifting down out of space, flying to a stop still considerably above you. “Perhaps you'll be a worthy rival, in another two hundred years or so. If you keep up your efforts.”
“I'll take that as a compliment.” you reply, raising your fist to him before powering back down to your base form. He smirks, drifting down towards you and stopping.
“I'll accept your surrender gracefully.” he replies, tapping his fist down onto your own with a smug expression. Seems he's rather pleased with how things have gone.

But what now? What do you do?

This is prob more in character. While Beerus and Whis have had some meals from Silver with us, I don't see Karn as been TOO keen to invite someone as dangerous and potentially malicious as Beerus to hang around his family and grandkids. Too likely to take offense at something minor.

“Chilli, have a question for you.” you think back to your son. “If I can convince Beerus and his assistant to come along, your mother will get to stay for the party as long as they do. But, having the Destroyer along does come with a lot of risk for your world, so I want to ask if that's what you want.”
“If you can convince them, do it. I'm sure Mom wants to come too,” he answers instantly. “Besides, if he acts up, I know how to keep him in line.”

And then he ends the connection. And, for a moment you aren't quite sure which of them is scarier, your son or the Destroyer God. Who notices that you'd quit paying attention, looking at you with his head tilted to the side.

“What was that, Saiyan? You seemed quite distracted by something.” the Destroyer says. “Something important, I presume?”
“Yes, my son. Do you remember his son, the one born on the day we first fought?” you ask him, the God of Destruction idly scratching his chin in clear confusion. “He's a year old now and my son's throwing him a birthday party on his world. If you would like to come along, you and your attendant are welcome to join us.”
“A party you say? Well, I wasn't going to stop for anything to eat, but if you make an offer like that I can hardly refuse.” he replies nonchalantly, but you can tell he's clearly eager and trying to hide it. “Very well, I accept your son's invitation.”
“Then let's regroup with everyone and head on over.” you reply, Beerus following you from above as you fly back to your home. Landing on the sands a few seconds before Beerus, you telepathically tell Meloka what's going on and what the Destroyer agreed to, to which she smiles.

“Whis, we're not heading back right away. We've been invited to a party.” Beerus says, a hint of excitement in his voice.
“Alright, let's get a move on everyone, don't want to keep them waiting. Next stop, Chilli's planet.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead. Your family all come over and hang on, Beerus and Whis looking at you all in confusion.
“For Instant Transmission to work, we all need to be touching.” Meloka says, holding her other hand out to Whis. “If you both would like to arrive instantly, instead of taking time to travel, you are welcome to join us.”

“Instantaneous movement does cut down on travel times. Even for someone as fast as I, the trip would still take several minutes.” Whis says, placing his hand atop your wife's own before then placing his hand on Beerus' shoulder. “We are ready.”
“Then let's go.” you reply, focusing on your son's ki and getting his ready call before teleporting. Leaving New Salda behind, and returning to the planet your son now calls home.

One moment you're standing with your family on the beaches of your home, the next find yourself in the Crimson Demon Village, where the party is already in full swing. In the town square is a massive bonfire, day having already given way to night on this world. Several of the Crimson Demon Clan are dancing around the fire, someone playing a stringed musical instrument while three or four give voices to the song. And there, in the center of the large U-shaped crystal-made table is your first grandson. On the opposite side of the table sits your granddaughter who, since you teleported in behind your son and grandson, sees you all first.

“GRANDPA! GRANDMA!” she shouts, launching off the table and flying at you and your wife. Meloka catches her, laughing a bit as she says her hellos. Your grandson, seeing this turns, eyes lighting up as he sees you all as well. And without hesitation jumps as well, right for you.
“Grandpa!” he calls with far less volume than his sister, flying far more slowly and unsteadily over to you. You catch him and hold him close a moment, then holding him up over you. “You made it!”
“Of course kiddo, I wouldn't miss this for the world. Hope I'm not late.” you reply, lowering him back to your level as he smiles. “Just had to bring a few other guests along.”

“This is your grandson?” Beerus asks you, looking curiously to him. Your grandson, seeing Beerus immediately cowers against you, trembling in what you think is fear.
“What's wrong kiddo? He's not going to hurt you.” you whisper to him, your grandson surprising you by thinking back.
“He's scary.” Kazuburo replies, body trembling. He even curls his tail around your arm, holding you tight. “He-He's a monster.”
“Yes, but he's a polite monster, and not here to destroy anyone.” you reply to him, also telepathically. “As long as we're nice to him, he'll be nice back and not hurt anyone.”
“O-Okay. I understand.” he replies, taking a deep breath, then raising his head back up over your shoulder to look at Beerus standing behind you. “G-Greetings, Lord D-Destroyer.”

“Greetings, little one. I am Lord Beerus.” Beerus replies, not seeming amused by your grandson's reaction. Which is the opposite of Meloka Wolbach's, who, ignoring her brother's fear, flies out of her mother's arms over to the Destroyer. Leaping at and hugging him around the neck. Catching him by complete surprise, you seeing his eyes widen as he now has a tiny half-Saiyan hanging off of him.
“My Father told me that you're even stronger than Grandpa, so does that mean you're the strongest in the whole universe?” she asks innocently, looking up at him with her big eyes.
“I've not met anyone from this universe who could challenge me.” he replies, looking down at her. “And what is your name again?”

She smirks, letting go of him and leaping to the ground, striking her poses. Where you notice she's wearing different clothes than usual, a pink shirt, skirt, and black robe.

“My name is Meloka Wolbach! Daughter of the Crystal Sage and Explosion Master, Super Saiyan, and soon to be student at the greatest magical academy in the universe, Red Prison to become the greatest Archwizard of the entire Crimson Demon Clan!” she declares, striking several different poses while talking.
“Meloka Wolbach? Interesting.” Beerus says, glancing aside at your wife as he no doubt recognizes the name as well. But then, you see something surprising. Or, rather, someones. As there, at the edge of the light you see a familiar silhouette, barely visible in the light. But there's no way, a Time Patroller wouldn't be standing around just watching and not causing a scene. Would they?

Well? How do you approach this situation?

“Happy birthday kiddo. Here, say hello to everyone else too.” you say to your shy grandson, passing him over to Broly, who gingerly takes him. Your son looks at you curiously a moment, but seeing your expression then reaches out to you telepathically.
“Everything alright?” he asks you.
“Not sure. Time Patrol spotted, stay alert.” you reply, seeing his eyes go wide as you give him a nod, then start making your way out of the group of your family. Everyone gives you odd looks, seeing you going the wrong way but no one else questions you, you getting free of the crowd while keeping your eyes focused on the Patroller. Then, once you're clear of the group you march right over towards him. The Time Patroller sees you approaching, and to your surprise doesn't back down. He stands his ground, watching you approach. “So. Here to ruin ANOTHER of my family's events?”

“Karn.” he replies simply, turning a bit to face you. And doesn't say anything else, just looking at you. He seems different, older than you remember. But not only that, he seems far more confident, but most noticeably powerful. He's only in his base form, working to suppress his power, but you can get a glimpse of that power laying dormant within him. His strength is far greater than you remember, if he starts trouble you're going to be in for a serious fight.
“What are you doing here?” you ask him, not shrinking back and pressing for an answer. “If you're here to fight, I'm going to crush you.”
“I'm not here to fight you, but if I were, this time you'd fall.” he replies seriously, still meeting your gaze. “But if you must know, I'm looking for Mechikabura.”

“Well, even if he does show up, don't start any trouble here.” you reply. “You and your kind have ruined enough of my family's celebrations.”
“Look.” he says with a sigh, taking a deep breath and raising his gaze back up to your own. We're already being quite lax here, with letting Towa bring your other children here as long as the other Chaya and that traitor Ace stay away.”

As he says this you turn and seeing that, indeed, Towa and your three half-demon children are there, meeting with the rest of your family and looking happy to be here. You then turn back, seeing the steely resolve in his eyes that has always been missing before.

“You're a threat, but small time, Karn. As long as Mechikabura's still out there and at large, he's got absolute priority over you and your family.” he tells you, voice full of certainty. “But don't take this the wrong way: the moment he's done, I'm coming for you personally. And I'll be the one to bring you down.”

“You leave my family out of this, and come after me directly if you ever do.” you tell him, addressing him not as you had up until now, but as the threat you can now clearly tell he is. Everything about him, from how he carries himself to even how he looks at you is completely different from before. Almost as if he's a whole new man. Which, perhaps, he just might be. “Before you go after ANY of my family, you come at me first. And we'll have it out like warriors.”

Silence hangs over the both of you, the noise from the party sounding dull as you both stare each other down. But then he gives you a small nod, silently agreeing to your terms. You give him a nod back, matching his own before turning your back on him, walking back to your family. Where you see Chilli glaring at Trunks as well, reaching out to you telepathically.

“So, is he going to leave or finally start something?” he asks you, clearly having been aware of him for some time.
“No, he's here for Mechikabura. Not us or our family.” you reply, your son sighing out in clear relief. “But don't underestimate him, this Trunks was... Different. He's not the same Trunks they've been sending before. If a fight starts, do not engage him.”
“That bad?” he asks, you meeting your son's eyes. His expression pales a bit, nodding to you again then turning back to his daughter as she asks him something. The party seems to be in full swing, just kicking off, but as long as the Time Patroller's there, you doubt you'll truly be able to relax.

Leaving Trunks behind you return to your family and the celebration, but not letting Trunks' ki signature out of your senses. Just because he SAYS he isn't going to attack doesn't mean he won't follow orders. And you know how little the Time Kai's word is worth. So, as you continue keeping your 'eye' on Trunks, you get back to the festivities. Kazuburo is back in his seat while your granddaughter is sitting on Beerus' shoulder, yet the Destroyer doesn't seem to mind thankfully. She's asking him something but you're too far away to hear, only once you get back to the table do you hear the end of his answer to her question.

“-why planets must be culled.” he tells her, to which your daughter nods along.
“I get it. Like why my Daddy goes out and hunts down certain bad guys! They were supposed to die but didn't, so he has to go make sure they do.” she answers, then looks curious an asks. “Hey, do Destroyer Gods die too?”
“Everything that lives eventually dies.” Beerus tells her as you look over to Broly, who is staring at you in concern. You tell him what you'd told Chilli, how he isn't here to start a fight but to not get too relaxed, just in case. “And while being a Destroyer does grant me a far longer lifespan than any mortal being, one day I too will have to put aside my role and let someone else take my place.”
“Ohhh, okay!” she replies happily, eating on what appears to be some sort of cake. Then notice that the Destroyer has one in front of him as well, his assistant standing a few feet away with a tiny plate and cake of his own, taking small, polite bites. But then the assistant sees you looking at him, and as if he suddenly remembers something walks over.

“I must say, your progress you showed today is quite unexpected. I did not expect your growth to outmatch your wife's under my care. Perhaps I am going too easy on her?” the blue-skinned man says, looking over to Meloka as she talks with Megumin's mother, Yuiyui. “What do you think?”

Well? How do you answer him?
>Ask what kinds of things she's been doing for training, try and appraise the training itself once he's explained it compared to your own
>Say that he could probably push her a bit more, with a bit more frequent home time to keep her motivated
>Tell Whis that her strength isn't in raw powerlevel but her skill and technique, to help her sharpen those would make her even more capable

“Well, my powerlevel's always been greater than hers, ever since the day we met. The fact you've raised her strength equal to mine is quite impressive, and shows that you're a talented teacher.” you tell him honestly. “But her raw strength was never her strongest suit. Her true strength was always in her skill, in her techniques. Even when I was stronger than her, she'd reliably put me in a healing pod whenever I'd underestimate her in a spar.”
“Oh? I see.” Whis replies, bringing a hand to his chin as he thinks over your words. “What you're saying is that it isn't about the intensity of the training I've been putting her through, but on the focus? While her body needed to be stronger to better maintain the divine power of Super Saiyan God, and perhaps reach levels even further beyond that, with her newfound mastery over the divine form perhaps it is time...”

The way he says this brings questions to your mind, but before you can vocalize them the assistant speaks up once again.

“When you were facing Lord Beerus earlier today, there was a moment. A singular instance where your movements seem to change.” he says, sounding as if he's very carefully considering his words. “Do you know what I'm talking about?”
“Yeah, this wasn't the first time it's happened.” you reply, remembering the moment your body had moved on its own to dodge one of the Destroyer's strikes. But then, before you can comment further, you hear a commotion and both turn. Only to see one of that boy Kazuma's companions, the blue-haired woman kneeling before the Destroyer God.
“G-G-Greetings, Great Destroyer Beerus.” she says nervously, holding up a bottle of something towards him. “Please, as a small token of appreciation from me.”

“Why, thank you.” he replies, a note of formality to his voice as he leans down, picking up the bottle and looking it over. “What is this?”
“It's my most expensive bottle, at least that I brought with me. If I'd have known that your eminence had been showing up, I would have prepared something more worthy of your station.”
“Don't worry about it, this celebration isn't about me after all. I was only a last-minute invite.” Beerus replies, far more nonchalantly this time. “Had I not arrived on the Saiyan's world when I did, I would have missed the party entirely.”

As he then casually tells her to rise, to treat him as just another guest, you see several other beings all talking amongst themselves. You see your wife and Yuiyui still speaking together, while Chilli and Megumin are handing their son something. Milha is talking with some of the Crimson Demon Village women, those roughly around Megumin's age and a few younger while Caulifla, Koruza, and Okira are talking together with their Stands as well. Broly and Kori are talking with the village's chief Hiropon, and others all in groups talking or dancing around the giant fire.

“The festivities are still in full swing, you should go on and enjoy the party.” Whis says with a look, one you can't quite interpret. “We can leave more important discussions for later.”
“Very well, just make sure you enjoy yourself as well.” you tell him, rejoining in the festivities. The party lasts well into the night, the giant bonfire burning low before the villagers all start returning to their homes, those from other groups like the slime and the skeleton going over to a crystal structure and teleporting away. Leaving only your own large family along with Beerus and Whis.

“Well, it's been fun.” Beerus says, yawning and stretching his arms overhead as the party dies down. “Whis.”
“Yes my lord?” the assistant asks, moving over to his side.
“I think it's time we returned home.” Beerus says, turning to Meloka. “You coming along as well?”
“Yes, just a minute.” she says, going from child to child and saying her farewells, hugging them each in turn as well as the grandchildren before coming to you. “This was a good week.”
“Yes it was. Glad you came back.” you reply as you hold her, hugging your wife to you before letting her go. “Good luck.”

“You too. Don't forget to check on Chaya as well.” she says, the comment a bit odd. Perhaps she's had a bad feeling about her eldest? But she then goes over to the Destroyer and his assistant, standing to Beerus' left as both place their hands on his back. And in a pillar of rainbow light they all vanish, ki disappearing after a few seconds. Meloka has left the mortal realm behind once more.
“Alright, let's go home.” you tell your children, everyone saying their goodbyes and returning home for dark to be falling on your home as well. Everyone gets ready for bed, the long day over. And your last thoughts, as you fall asleep are of your wife, already missing having her here in the bed with you.

You decide that you'd rather see her in person than talk telepathically, so you inform your oldest children present telepathically that you're going to visit with Chaya in case they need you. Then you raise your hand to your forehead, focusing on your ki sense to lock onto Chaya's power, teleporting to her with Instant Transmission. You leave your home behind, returning to the Yardratian homeworld by your daughter just as she lets her power explode forth as lightning from her hands. With only an instant to react you jump, flipping up and over your daughter as electricity crackles, arcing through the air at what you see was a tree as you land behind her. But she stops the attack almost instantly, turning to you with a worried look on her face.

“D-Dad?!” she exclaims, sounding shocked. “I didn't get you, did I?”
“No, don't worry about me kiddo.” you reply, seeing her eyes still blazing like the long-dead Darth Bane from the holocron. But something feels different, and as she blinks they don't change. “I was just wondering how you've been doing.”
“It's been going great.” she replies with surprising enthusiasm, turning to Elder Pybara. “Elder Pybara's been a great help.”

“Your daughter has been making good progress.” the Yardratian elder says gently. “This power of hers distorted her mind, causing some severe damage. But we've been working through it, straightening her soul back out.”
“Which is why I'm working on this.” she replies, turning back to the tree and taking a deep breath. You feel the air around her change, watching as she starts gathering her power. And to your shock lightning starts crackling around her sword, her scars lighting up on her arms. “HRRAAAA!”

You watch as she unleashes a storm of electricity, bolts striking the tree. It actually ignites as her power courses through it, your daughter ending the attack. And as she turns to you, you see that even the scars over her eyes are glowing with that same azure hue as her lightning. It lasts a few more seconds, the lightning and her glowing both fading away.

“See? I've been working hard to get better.” your daughter replies, her eyes still burning with that power. “It's taken some serious work, but I'm better now. And in a few more days, I'll be ready to get back to Dreadzone.”

“Yes, I would agree with that.” Elder Pybara says, turning from her back to you before speaking telepathically. “Her soul and body were realigned within the first day, but she refused to leave until she could use these powers more effectively. Using each ability in my presence until she could use them, even that mind-bending power of hers without distorting her own soul. She has come a long way in just a short few days.”
“Really?” you reply aloud, looking from him to her, feeling conflicted. On the one hand, you're relieved to hear your daughter is doing better, her mental state fixed. But on the other, you'd expected it to take weeks, if not months from how he was talking when you arrived. But perhaps that's simply a sign of how good a teacher the Yardratian Elder really is?

But what do you do?
>Ask her to spar with you, see if her mental state is still fine after you push her a bit beyond what anyone here could do, or if she's only fine because she isn't truly pushing her limits
>Take Chaya aside and ask her directly if she's been using her powers on Elder Pybara to control his mind, to get him to agree with her when you showed up. See if you and Divine Dragon Force can see if she's lying or not
>Try and figure out who Chaya's been using her mind-altering powers on and how they're doing now, make sure she hasn't permanently affected any of Elder Pybara's people
>Congratulate her on her progress, tell her that you'll be looking forward to her coming home soon and go back to New Salda
>Take your daughter aside and ask her if she's really okay, you know she cared for Raditz and losing him probably still hurts her

>Congratulate her on her progress and return to New Salda, but make a mental note to come back here in and check up on anyone in case she's altered the minds of either Elder Pybara's people or Elder Pybara himself after she's left from the planet.
Maybe this isn't the best way to go about things I'll admit.

“Well then, let's put this to the test.” you tell her, taking a few steps back before taking your fighting stance. “Let's find out if you're REALLY in control of this power or not.”
“Really? Let's go!” your daughter replies, taking her fighting stance as well as she powers up into a Super Saiyan, her strength nearly three times your own base form.
“This could prove quite informative.” Elder Pybara says, stroking one of his little chin antenna as he looks on. “Seeing how you react under the stresses of real combat could show anything I've overlooked.”
“Is that all?” you ask your daughter, smirking then ascending into your Berserker form with a roar. “Use your REAL strength.”

“Right!” she replies, flashing up into her semi-divine form. Then, with a thought casually tosses the sword back, letting it stick point-first in the ground while retaking her fighting stance, staring you down. You still can't quite get a clear reading on divine ki, but have a feeling that you're still stronger than her. But, to what degree you're unaware. So, you gesture for her to come to you, only for your daughter to smirk, that azure light glowing from within her scars once more. Then with her left hand pointing towards you unleashes a concentrated beam of a dozen or so lightning bolts. You leap straight into the air to avoid the attack, Chaya ending it and leaping back up after you. She swings with a heavy right, you catching her much-smaller hand in your left. Immediately you retaliate with a right of your own, Chaya catching it with considerable effort. “Gruuh!”

“Come on kiddo, show me what you've got!” you tell her, Chaya smirking and switching from pushing against you to pulling, driving both heels into your chest and kicking off of you. Her kick doesn't knock you back nearly as far as she herself is launched back, your daughter flipping backwards twice before again throwing her hands towards you, unleashing a much greater storm of lighting than the first one.
“Barrier!” you shout, opting for defense since you don't see an easy escape to dodge except for backing up. Her lightning crackles against your Barrier, your shield protecting you from the electricity. She sees this and ends her attack, drawing both hands back as you feel something gathering. The space between her hands starts distorting, shifting what you can see through it sickeningly before she throws both hands forward, releasing that power.

Your daughter unleashes a titanic wave of force directly at you, the telekinetic force striking your Barrier. It shatters immediately under the pressure of Chaya's attack, the telekinetic energy then slamming into you before you can react. You try and resist the attack as it hits, but the wave is overwhelming, knocking you back away from her. For dozens of yards you're sent flying backwards, tumbling through the air until you regain control, raising your eyes back to your daughter. Who clenches her fists and flares her semi-divine aura, blazing a path through the air towards you. And, seeing her coming flare your own power up, rushing forward to meet her charge head-on.

As the two of you trade blows in the skies of Planet Yardrat, you feel yourself getting more relaxed. You'd been worried for your daughter, both physically and mentally ever since what happened, but she seems to be doing much better. And even with her anger fueling her, her rage is focused like a scalpel, directed into her attacks and movements instead of controlling her, rampaging wildly like an out-of-control Berserker. You can't help but feel impressed, proud of your daughter as her eyes blaze, grinning and having fun sparring with you. This is the daughter you raised, the warrior you knew she could become.

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy the episode so far? Ready to see how everything plays out, how everyone's training goes, and what happens next? A fair point.
Depends on what they say tomorrow/whenever they get someone to look at it. Because if it’s one of the parts they put in that’s on Mopar, shit’s under a 1-year warranty there and I’m fine. If not, me and the technician probably going to fistfight in the parking lot for him wasting nearly two grand I had to take out a loan to pay.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 209 Intermission-

AGE 757, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE

“The festivities are still in full swing, you should go on and enjoy the party.” Whis, Beerus' attendant angel says to Karn as you watch on from the shadows. Then, as Karn walks away, Whis turns around and stares directly at you. His gaze is unsettling then, before you can really react he's simply gone.
“You're not supposed to be here.” Whis says, his voice coming from BEHIND you. It makes you a bit nervous, but you don't react, turning to face him.
“I am the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa's apprentice, here on official Time Patrol business.” you reply to the angel, not backing down. “If the Demon God Mechikabura returns, I'm here to stop him.”

“Mechikabura.... Now that's a name I've not heard in quite some time.” Whis says, hand to his chin as he ponders something a moment. “Ah, now I see. I understand. Carry on, apprentice Kai.”
“Hold on, understand what?” you ask, but he simply smirks, not answering. You are Trunks, son of Bulma and Vegeta, Super Saiyan, Apprentice Supreme Kai of Time, and a survivor of Dumplin's...unique training course. Currently you're posted in your mortal enemy Karn's timeline, at the Crimson Demon Village where his grandson's first birthday is happening. You'd arrived as Towa and Karn's bastard half-demon kids did, under orders to not start a fight with them.

“Remember, you're not here to fight.” Chronoa had told you as you'd arrived a short distance from the celebration, immediately dropping your powerlevel and making your way over. “Stick to the shadows and stay at the outskirts, no need to get involved unless Mechikabura makes a move.”

But now as you stand here, turning from the infuriatingly vague angel and watching your enemy enjoying his happy little celebration, you can't help but start getting pissed off. How dare your enemy, the man whose killed you over and over have such a happy time while your own reality was nothing but suffering. All your life you lived under the rule of the tyrannical androids, watching helplessly as they destroyed lives, even that of your master, Gohan. And after going to the past, learning from your father and gaining the strength you needed, you'd returned home to defeat the Androids, only for the most terrifying one yet, Cell, to have snuck up and killed you while you were distracted. Only to be revived by the Supreme Kai of Time to work for her, to undo your 'sin' of time travel. You'd never had anything like this in your life, and watching Karn and his family enjoy their little celebration does nothing but piss you off.

“How DARE this bastard-!” you seethe to yourself, clenching your fists as he walks around, talking with his son's allies, smile on his face. “As hard as I've worked, everything I've sacrificed, why does HE get to have a happy life?”
“Oh? You think that you are somehow more deserving of the life Karn's built here for himself” Whis asks, startling you as you'd forgotten he was still there. “Perhaps you should focus on building the life you want? Instead of focusing on what others have, hmm?”

His statement leaves you staring at him, mouth agape as the angel chuckles to himself, turning and walking back over as Beerus calls him, asking if he'd tried something. Leaving you standing there dumbstruck, wondering why you'd never thought of this before as you keep watching. You've fought hard for years, giving your undying loyalty to the Supreme Kai of Time after she'd recruited you, saying that if you worked long and hard enough that you could absolve yourself of your 'crime' of traveling through time. Meanwhile, here you have your greatest enemy since joining her living a life with friends, a wife and even children, all happy. Meloka flying over to Karn and kissing him, a brief but passionate one that makes you wish Hyoka were here with you. Leading you to wonder: what do you have? You don't have your home anymore, having been away far too long your connection to your home time was severed. You don't have everyone you'd helped save from the other timeline, as you can't go back into it. Everything you have is, in one manner or another, connected to Conton City and the Time Patrol. But then, as you keep watching, you hear something else.

“We're planning it for a bit after the new year.” Koriand'r, the Tamaranean princess known in other timelines as Starfire say to some of the Crimson Demon women as she shows off something on her left hand. A ring made of a dark metal, one you recognize as the toughest material in the seventh universe, Katchin. “Broly and I haven't picked a location yet, he's been talking with Lord Freeza about good locations across different planets.”
“Marriage...” you mutter, wondering what Hyoka'd look like in a fancy white dress. Remembering a conversation you'd had with her years ago, at least for you before you'd gone into Dumplin's dimension he calls the “Fuckbox”, appropriately enough. How she'd asked you, but at the time you'd been in a bad place, saying you couldn't afford to take the time for the celebration and everything, what with the war going on. But as you watch this enemy enjoy a life he made for himself, his son even marrying and having HIS own family despite everything, you decide that enough's enough. You've lived too long for the Supreme Kai of Time, following orders unquestioningly. It's time to start living for yourself and what you want.

“Supreme Kai of Time, I'm calling this one.” you tell her through the communicator in your ear, pressing your left hand to it as your right draws the scroll to return to the Time Nest. “Mechikabura won't show here, this is a waste of time.”
“Trunks? What do you mean?” she asks, sounding surprised. But you don't reply further over the communicator, using the scroll to return back into the Time Nest. You reappear beside the Elder Kai and the Supreme Kai of Time, both looking surprised to see you back as you set the scroll on the table. “What's going on?”

“Mechikabura's not making a move in that timeline, watching them so closely is pointless.” you tell her, then immediately sense another presence at the top of the stairs by the exit. And there, staring at you with his blank, soulless eyes is the Demon God Dumplin, looking down on you all. “And I have somewhere to be.”
“Somethin' more important than your job?” the Demon God asks but you don't back down, stepping up the stairs towards him without hesitation.
“Yes. Someone important I have to meet, to ask something I should have long ago.” you reply, Dumplin actually smirking at you and reaching with his hand into his head, drawing out a small box and offering it to you. “What's this?”

“You'll know when the time's right.” he replies, as if he already knows what you plan to do. Which, given how he and Chronoa aren't from this reality but one that existed before, perhaps he does? So, you take the box with a nod, striding out the door and then out of the Time Nest, through the mystical gate into Conton City itself. Despite the war having calmed down, the citizens can clearly feel the tension hanging in the air. Everyone knows that the war is nearing its end, that a final, destructive battle to decide which side will endure. No one is standing around talking, everyone moving with purpose. You see a couple of new Patrollers standing around near the entrance, one you recognizing as one of the newest to join the force from outside Conton City. From a very unusual timeline, one where Dr. Lychee, creator of Hatchiyack sent a pair of experimental Tuffles to Earth. Except, instead of killing the young Son Goku, they'd befriended him, this one eventually marrying him and also eventually having a family of their own together.

“Hey, everything okay?” Son Maple asks, her very clear maternal instincts kicking in as she sees the expression on your face and walks over. She doesn't even come up to your chin, yet her power is the real deal. “Is something wrong?”
“Wrong? No, not wrong. I've just had a realization.” you reply, expanding your ki sense as you try and find Hyoka. “Say, do you know where Hyoka is? I'm usually on Patroller business now, so I'm not sure.”

“Oooh? Playing hooky to go meet up with your girlfriend?” she asks mischievously, elbowing you gently in the side while bringing her other hand to her mouth. But then she sees your hand, noticing the box you're still holding. “Or, not girlfriend? Hold on, is- are you-?!”
“Yeah.” you reply, unable to contain a small smile. “I've been putting this off long enough. Today is the day.”
“Well good for you!” she says, sounding genuinely happy for you and not simply saying it because you're an 'authority' figure. “Come on, let's go find her! I gotta see this!”

“Right.” you reply, taking off from the cliff side and flying towards Hyoka's ki. Which you sense is not coming from the city, where you'd expected, but instead her power is coming from the arid desert area behind the mountain. Curious, you fly over towards her, sensing her ki along with a few others you don't recognize. And as you and Maple arrive, you see something interesting. There is Hyoka with several younger Time Patrollers-in-training, teaching them how to perform the Turtle School's signature technique.

“-ack, channeling your ki into a single point, while calling it out.” she says, taking the stance as she draws her arms back by her right side. “Kaaaaaa Meeeeee Haaaaaa Meeeeeeee! HAAAAAAA!!”

And with a roar throws both hands forward and fires, unleashing a blue wave of destructive energy. Her attack shoots across the arid ground, passing between a pair of the large mushrooms and out into the empty sky. She continues it for several seconds, then with a sigh ends her blast and turns back towards them.

“Just like that. Any questions?” she asks, then notices you overhead as no one speaks up. “Hey Trunks, you're out early. Is something going on?”
“You could say that.” you say, dropping down out of the ground. Maple hovers, the tiny Tuffle woman radiating with excitement as you approach your longtime girlfriend. Then, you see her eyes widen, hand going to her face as you drop down to a knee. “I'm not good with words, but today I realized something important. What I really want out of life. And that's you. Will you marry me, Hyoka?”

Several of the younger ones gasp in surprise as you finish your sentence, holding the box out towards her and opening it. Maple leans around, her overwhelming excitement palpable as Hyoka looks from it to you, smiling with tears in her eyes as she says a single word.

“Yes.”

I for one can't wait to hit Trunks with the "You think I want this?" line. Karn has been fighting to survive his entire life. Every single scrap of happiness he has there is a scar for. Call Karn a monster for killing so many, he is, but he's not malicious. Meanwhile a bunch of immortal assholes from beyond space and time keep trying to kill him and his family. And they don't take a moment to think that maybe, just maybe, that only galvanizes Karn and makes him even more violent and dangerous?

Trunks has the sob story twisted into eternal servitude on his side, sure. However he is blinded by his own trauma and how he is trying to inflict similar levels of woe on one family for simply having the gall to SURVIVE. Like holy fuck.

Imagine a U6 Karn. How harmless he'd be, and realize that Karn the genociding monster wasn't born but made. Maybe Trunks will realize it before he has to die for the thirtieth time. But I doubt it. He drank too much kool-aid. He got the hardheadedness of both of his parents. And he'd be crushed under the guilt of knowing he's done just as much harm to people as his timeline inflicted on him. So frustrating, that boy.
>>
>>5871299
>Call Karn a monster for killing so many, he is, but he's not malicious.
Well, not inherently malicious, no. We're still very much going to Hell though.
>So frustrating, that boy.
My thoughts exactly. He wouldn't be so frustrating if I didn't care about him or his part in the narrative however, so hat's off to GD for that.

That’s the one thing he truly got from his parents, when he decided to do something he does it. Charges full steam ahead regardless of consequences.

Very true. He falls into that “main character syndrome” very often, forgetting other’s stories aren’t happy just because he suffered.
Yes, but he’s fighting “FoR tHe GrEaTeR gOoD” so its warranted.
A u6 Karn would be a very different person.
>He got the hardheadedness of both of his parents
VERY true.
>>5871307
Oh no, Karn IS malicious. But only to those he deems deserving.
And that’s the hard part. Making characters compelling despite wanting to plant their faces through concrete
>>
>>5871364
>Oh no, Karn IS malicious.
I would argue that while he does have something of a mean streak, he doesn't go out of his way to inflict misery upon others (unless provoked). He is certainly capable and willing to commit malicious acts, but in a vacuum, I have no reason to believe he'd express that same behavior.
You want to see what a truly malicious being is like? Look at Babidi. That motherfucker had nothing but ill intentions for everything around him.

It was a long road to leading up to it, but damn did our efforts pay off. Now we're well into the arguably more important aftermath of our success; making sure the fruits of our labor can be enjoyed long after we're gone.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After testing his training against the Destroyer Beerus, Karn returned to Chilli's world for Kazuburo's first birthday and met a particular Time Patroller observing the festivities. Words were exchanged before Karn spoke with Whis about his wife's training, then after the party she returned with the Destroyer to the realm of the gods. On the following day, taking his wife's advice he decided to check in on Meloka, it nearly being a week since she was left with the Yardratian Elder Pybara to help her. And as we rejoin Karn, your sparring match with your daughter is now really heating up!

“HRRAAAAA!” she roars, throwing her left hand towards you and unleashing a torrent of lightning while calling her sword up into her right. You dodge the cone of lightning as she then charges in, taking her blade in both hands and bringing it down on you in the powerful Djem So strike called “Falling Avalanche”. Both hands on the weapon, dropping it down, the attack uses the full body to deliver the maximum power blow. But you were ready for her, bracing yourself and catching the attack. Your hands grab the blade on either side, stopping it from descending and hitting you. She smirks, backing off and tossing the sword back to the ground with a smile. “Heh, not bad. But I have something even you might not be ready for.”

You watch as, suddenly, she reaches out her hand. And from behind her back a nearly foot-long metal cylinder, black ridges on the bottom third as she presses the raised rectangular button, crimson blade igniting in a similar fashion to King Cold's weapon. But where his is an icy blue, hers is blazing red, matching the red of her eyes.

“This one can't be stopped, except by very specific materials.” your daughter says, grinning as she holds it up in front of her, showing it off. “These energy blades cut through just about anything. If you want to fight with these, to really go at it with our Djem So technique, I got a couple more back in my room at Dreadzone I can hop over and get real quick.”

Well? How do you respond to this offer?
>Accept, let her get you one of these weapons and try wielding this weapon for yourself
>Tell her you appreciate the offer, but activate your Energy Body while telling her about your 'fight' with King Cold and his blade
>Answer thanks but no thanks, use this opportunity to practice your evasion and avoid letting that blade touch her
>Decline the offer and tell her that such weapons shouldn't be used on each other here and now, that's too dangerous

“Sure, ever since King Cold hit me with his, I've been curious how they handle.” you reply, your daughter's eyes widening at this for a few moments. Then, nodding she deactivates her weapon, turning to Elder Pybara as she raises it to her head.
“I'll be right back!” she tells him, vanishing after he gives her a small nod. The Yardratian elder then turns to you, still with his usual carefree expression as he addresses you.
“She's shown remarkable progress. Your daughter is quite motivated to overcome what happened to her and prevent harming herself like that again.” he tells you, but then his tone shifts, sounding more serious. “However, were I you, I would keep a close eye on her. This power she wields is a corrupting, addictive force, one that could easily take her once more. As she goes forward, this power of hers could cause a repeat of what happened.”

“I see.” you reply, Chaya reappearing before you.
“Here.” she says, holding out a more cylindrical handle. The end she's holding towards you is burnt and blackened, as if it were longer before and severed by an intense heat. “I didn't have one really your size while you're transformed, but this is the biggest I've got.”
“Thanks. Now, how does it work?” you ask, taking the weapon in hand. Immediately you can sense a power from it, something radiating within the weapon with a strangely familiar strength.

“Push this button here, while channeling your ki into the crystal inside the weapon.” she tells you, pointing it out before then taking her own weapon, activating it again. But this time, paying attention you can feel her energy connecting with the weapon as the blade activates. “Just like that.”
“I see.” you reply, focusing on the weapon and following her example, pointing the end away from her and yourself before activating it. The weapon activates with a buzz, unlike her red blade's hiss, the yellow energy of the weapon extending into a near-identical blade. But it doesn't feel quite right, it feels just....off. You wave the weapon back and forth, getting used to how it handles as your daughter remains at a distance, letting you get your feel for the weapon before you resume your sparring session. You move through a few of the Djem So strikes, adjusting to how the weapon handles before turning back to your daughter. “Ready?”

“If you are.” she replies, taking her Djem So stance across from you. You do the same, both of you holding your weapons overhead and staring each other down. Her eyes blaze with the same power as the phantom dark lord's, grinning as she stares you down. Then, as one you both lunge forward, swinging your blades down.

The two of you launch into your attacks, the force of your blows knocking each other's weapons back. Immediately you both keep up the attack, twisting your blades overhead to crash together once more. Over and over your weapons clash, blade striking blade hundreds of times in only a second as your weapons paint glowing trails through the air. The blur of the blades, the hum of the weapons blend together in a cacophony of battle. The weapons move so fast you don't even have time to think, reacting purely on muscle memory, training and instinct. Yet, as the battle continues, her power seemingly only grows. Her strength and her anger both continue to rise as she continues her assault, strikes landing harder and faster the more she swings her weapon. Almost as if she's taking the energy you're using fighting her, and adding it to her own somehow. Then, with another double overhead swing your blades smash together, seemingly locking together in place and putting you in a contest of power. One that you should be able to easily win.

But you can't, Chaya evenly matching your Berserker strength with her own power. And, to your surprise, even begins pushing back, overpowering you. She pushes you back, nearly bringing your own weapon back against your body before you pull back, disengaging and trying to get clear. But, as you jump back, Chaya lunges. Just as you'd practiced with her hundreds of thousands of times under the guiding eye of Darh Bane, thrusting her blade under your guard at your chest. Reacting purely on instinct you twist without thinking, narrowly avoiding getting impaled. Instead her blade burns across your right pectoral and your right tricep, the sudden, burning agony causing you to lose focus and cry out.

“GYAAAH!” you call, raising your left up to your chest as you drop the weapon in your right, it deactivating as it leaves your hand. And, for a single moment your daughter looks like she's going to go back in, to go for the kill when suddenly that dark cloud around her vanishes, Chaya blinking then her eyes widen in shock.
“Oh no Daddy!” she calls, deactivating her weapon and rushing over to you. “I'm so sorry, I-I got so focused on the fight, I forgot that-!”
“Tch! D-Don't worry about it kiddo.” you reply through teeth gritted against the pain. “You sure got me good.”

“Let me heal you.” she says, raising both hands towards you, looking worried and more than a little guilty at the damage she caused.

“Yeah, please do kiddo.” you tell her, holding your arm out and sighing out, powering back down. She does as well, returning to base alongside you as she flies over, extending her hands out towards you. You watch as her brow furrows, your daughter concentrating on using her Spirit Control on your injury. You watch as she focuses, feeling the pain of the injury starting to fade before talking. “That power you were using, there at the end. It felt... Familiar, somehow.”
“You recognized it? Darth Bane told me that you hadn't decided to train in it.” she says, sounding surprised as she continues healing you. “Why not? Juyo's really strong.”

“It is, but you saw the downside just now.” you tell her. “You can lose yourself in that anger. And with that, combined with my Berserker power, well...”
“Oh, I get it.” she replies, nodding once in understanding. “With your Berserker anger on top of that, you'd be really scary. I don't know if I'd be able to stop you, even without your Berserker God form.”
“Yes, but not only that. It also wears you out far too quickly.” you tell her as the burning sensation in your arm fades entirely. “Having uncontrollable power along with that rapid exhaustion just spells disaster.”

“I see.” she replies, continuing to use her power until the burning sensation in your chest fades away entirely. “There you go, good as new!”
“Appreciate it kiddo.” you say, reaching out and ruffling your daughter's hair. She giggles a bit at this, trying to hide her reaction but failing before you let her go. “You've gotten a lot better.”
“I've been practicing.” she says, not getting your meaning. So you place your hand on her shoulder, looking her in the eyes. “Dad?”
“No, I mean with what happened before.” you say, a dark look flickering across her face a moment. “I don't feel that same anger, that hate from before. You seem to be doing much better than when your mother and I left you here.”

“Yes, Elder Pybara's been a great help.” she replies, a note of something in her voice as she talks. Whether that's regret or something else you can't quite tell, Chaya continuing. “I didn't realize how bad I'd gotten until I nearly attacked him when you both left.”
“You what!?” you ask, suddenly shocked. However, it is the elder who speaks up, having levitated himself up to your level.

“Your daughter had quite lost her way. Consumed by her hatred and envy.” he continues, you seeing your daughter look away for a moment. Shame on her face. “She had attempted to leave, but when I blocked her Instant Transmission she nearly fried me.”

“You did what now?” you ask, turning to Chaya who is looking away from the elder. Who laughs at this, speaking up while you stare at her judgmentally.
“That lightning of hers is quite quick. It nearly caught me.” he says, seeming completely unphased as he talks about her nearly killing him as if speaking of the weather. “Chaya here is much stronger than the first time she landed on my planet, both as a woman and as a warrior. And, it is my opinion that you're ready.”

“Ready?” she asks, turning to him confused. “What do you mean?”
“Your mind has been clear, aside from that momentary lapse during that technique you used at the end of the fight. If you, and your father think that you are ready, your time under my care has ended.”
“Really?” she asks, looking more confused than excited as she looks to the Yardratian Elder, not to you.

But as she stares at the small, blue elder, you have a thought. And decide to test it, telepathically reaching out to the Yardratian.

“Elder Pybara, I'm going to try something. Be careful, she might get volatile.” you think to him, the elder not making a move with his face as he replies to her aloud.
“I think you've gotten as much from being here as you can.” he tells her. “I've done what I can for you, helped guide your mind and strengthened your soul. The rest is up to you, Chaya.”
“I...Thank you, honored Elder.” she replies, giving him a more proper bow before turning back to you. “Did you hear that?”
“Yes, but, I'm not so sure.” you reply, finishing the plan in your mind then speaking aloud. “After all, Raditz is back. If you-”

“Radi?!” she says, eyes lighting up a moment. But then her expression changes, you seeing a profound sadness in her expression as she looks down. “No, you're right. I probably shouldn't go back if he's come home. But could you give him a message for me?”
“A message?” you ask, your daughter nodding once.
“Please tell him that I'm sorry for everything, and won't bother him or his girl again. And that I hope he's happy, that she loves him like I could not.”

Chaya, choking on the last word sounds genuinely upset, you reaching over and grabbing your daughter, holding her to you. Her body trembles, Chaya trying to keep it together for a few seconds before failing and breaking down in sobbing tears against you. She is clearly still upset about losing Raditz, missing having him as 'hers', but as you hug your daughter, you can tell she's grown up. It's only been a week, yet she's no longer the entitled girl she was when you'd left her in the elder's care. Your daughter just keeps growing up, one life lesson at a time.

“I miss him.” she says through sobs, you sharing a look with Elder Pybara, who has a sad smile on his face as he turns and flies down to the ground, leaving you and Chaya alone for this moment. You don't have any words for her but just hold on, hugging your daughter to you as she cries and make soft, comforting noises to her. It takes her a couple minutes to get herself back under control, eventually pulling away and wiping her face with the back of her bracer while saying, “Look at me, crying like this. Get it together.”

She then takes a deep, calming breath and then another, focusing on her breathing as you feel a slight vibration in the air, your daughter outlined in a familiar yet faint golden glow a moment before sighing out. Which is when you reveal the truth.

“Sorry kiddo, but Raditz isn't actually back.” you tell her, Chaya looking up at you with her tear-streaked face in confusion. “Sorry for lying to you like that, but I had to make sure.”
“Make sure? What?” she asks, completely lost as she stares at you as if you've grown another head. “Dad, what are you talking about?”
“He's still gone. But I had to make sure you weren't going to do anything crazy on your return.” you tell her, Chaya's eyes rising to meet your gaze. “I had to make sure, kiddo.”

“No no, I understand.” she replies with a sigh, not one of frustration just sounding tired. “I know that it's smart, I was out of control. It's just...”
“I'm sorry.” you reply, reaching out and patting her on the head. “I know what I did hurt you.”
“Yeah, it hurts. But not what you said.” she answers, looking as if she's trying to hide her upset from you. “You got my hopes up, but knowing that I hurt him so bad that he still hasn't gone back hurts.”

She then takes another deep breath in, exhaling with a sharp sigh and refocusing herself.

“Right. Radi's gone, have to focus on the here and now.” she replies, shaking her head. “I need to go talk to Vox, let him know that I'm back and ready to return to full time. Thank you Dad. For everything.”
“Of course kiddo. Anytime.” you reply, Chaya giving you a smile, but there's a hint of sadness in it. The smile doesn't quite reach her eyes, you seeing her hurt still there as she reaches down, drawing both the hilt you'd dropped as well as her giant sword, holding all three. The two of you share a final nod of understanding, Chaya then teleporting away. Once she's gone you sigh out, feeling relieved at your daughter's condition. She's still hurt, pain like that won't go away anytime soon. But she's in a much healthier place now than she was a week ago. You thank the Yardratian Elder for everything before returning home.

The next morning, however, as you and Karn Jr get in the gravity chamber, ready to train, Chaya suddenly appears as well. She seems surprised by her little brother being here as well, no doubt expecting to return to you and her usual training schedule.

But what do you do?
>Crank the gravity up to where it was before, try and push Karn Jr to keep up even if he has to transform to do so

“Today you both are going to do something different.” you say to your children, walking over to the controls and cranking it to the maximum level you train at yourself. You then turn, not activating the chamber yet and address them. “Today you'll be sparring each other.”
“YAY!” Karn Jr says, clearly excited. But your daughter only seems confused, looking from her powerful but nowhere near her level little brother back to you. “We get to spar!”
“But this isn't any normal sparring session. Today, I want you both to go into your full power.” you tell them, Chaya's eyes widening.

“Are you sure?” she asks, looking back to him a moment. “I don't want to hurt him.”
“Don't worry, he'll be going full power too.” you tell her, Chaya raising a brow at this. “But you go first. Take on your divine power kiddo.”
“Alright.” she replies, a bit hesitantly before clenching her fists, blazing up into her as she calls People's Champion form. Her gold and blue aura blazes as she looks down at her little brother, taking her fighting stance. “Ready.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K61rG1hxBwA

“Good. Now, just like we practiced.” you tell your youngest, who nods and clenches his fists. His naturally-golden aura blazes up around him immediately, sparks dancing as his powerlevel shoots skyward.
“HAAAAAAAA! HRRRAAAAAAAAA!” he roars as his hair starts growing longer and longer down his back, eyebrows disappearing as his brows themselves grow more pronounced. You feel his strength continue to rise until he's fully ascended into Super Saiyan 3, then it stops rising and instead begins to grow greater. “HRRRRYAAAAAA!!!”

“What?!” Chaya exclaims as she feels his power not growing stronger but wider, his ki overflowing and far exceeding what one person should be able to generate. You feel it as his energy starts growing exponentially greater, activating the chamber in preparation. His ki grows to that of two of him, then four, then eight, rapidly doubling, doubling, and doubling again as his hair and aura tint green. His energy continues to swell until it is hundreds of times greater than his Super Saiyan 3, an army's worth of energy compared to her singluar being. She looks over to you, eyes wide and a hint of panic as he continues yelling, unleashing a final, voice-cracking shout as his power reaches this new plateau once more. “What is this?”

“GRRRAAAAAA!” he snarls, blitzing straight at Chaya with a heavy right. Which she dodges with a spin, not the controlled spin of the Su Ma but more of a panicked reaction, narrowly avoiding the attack as he flies past. Only to flip, kick off the far wall and rocked right back towards her again.
“HAAAAAA!” she roars, swinging her right to meet his. And with her power she stops him, but with the sheer weight of all that energy behind his strike, she doesn't keep her feet. She's blown clean off the ground, all the force of his blow sent into your daughter, who flies back at the opposite end of the room. Only to flip around and kick off the wall as well, rocketing back towards your youngest.

She moves faster than he can react, fist slamming into his face and knocking junior back a couple steps. But her strike doesn't send him as far as you think it should have, staggering him back a few steps but not sending him flying. The weight of his massive power keeps him grounded, shocking her.

“Wh-What?!” she says, shocked by the weight of his ki. He then bounces back, going back on the attack. She is forced onto the defensive, trying to withstand his attacks a few moments before switching to the Su Ma style. You watch on as your daughter begins to twist and weave around his erratic attacks, throwing a few attacks that barely affect him as he keeps attacking relentlessly. But then, after a few moments, you hear her start trying to talk to him. “Hey, Junior it's me. It's Chaya. Don't you recognize me?”

“HRRRYAAAAA!!” Karn Jr bellows, not acknowledging her words at all as he continues attacking. But then she switches techniques, catching his right in her left, then his left in her right and holding him at bay.
“Jr, it's me. It's your big sis, Chaya.” she says to him, eyes meeting. “I'm Chaya. Chaya!”
“Chay.....Ya....?” he mutters, blinking a few times as he seemingly begins to recognize her. “Chaya?”
“Yes, yes it's me, Chaya!” she says, your son's brows furrowed in confusion as he tries to rationalize his anger and his sister at the same time. “Focus on your power, don't let it go! Control it!”
“Control...” he mutters, looking from her face to his fists in her hands as his power starts to diminish. “My power..... All this?”

Well, this is quite the breakthrough. Seems she somehow got through to your youngest, who follows her instructions. His strength continues to drop a few more moments before stabilizing, looking curiously at himself as he floats back to the ground.

“What's going on?” he asks her, you speaking up and surprising him.
“Well well, look at you.” you tell him, a grin on your face. “You're finally getting the hang of this.”
“What do I do?” he asks you, looking confused and a little scared as he looks to you for guidance.

Well? What do you tell him?

>Tell him and Chaya to both attack you bare handed, you'll spar them both for a bit as watching them go at it got you in the mood to fight

“For now son, focus on maintaining that power.” you tell him, Junior nodding along as you talk. “If you let your focus slip too far it'll fade away entirely again. So keep your attention on it, try and hold onto that form as long as you can.”
“Okay!” he replies, closing his eyes and bending a bit over, fists clenched as he blazes his dense aura up. It is so thick you can't even see him anymore through the yellow-green fiery blaze, feeling his power stabilizing as you turn to Chaya.
“And as for you, now we get back to it.” you tell her, your daughter nodding and powering back down to her base form. Only to nearly drop to the ground, not suspecting you'd put the gravity so high.

“Woah!” she exclaims, nearly dropping down to her hands and knees but keeping herself standing, hands narrowly avoiding touching the ground for support. “When'd you crank it this high?”
“When you and your brother transformed, now let's begin.” you tell her, getting into the position to start your reps. She does the same, you both counting out loud as you hear your youngest occasionally growling, his power fluctuating every minute or so. And as you go through your workout you keep your attention on your youngest, feeling his strength dip and surge, spike and plummet as he struggles to maintain this awesome power of his. But he does maintain it, not losing the form through the push-ups or sit-ups you lead Chaya through, Junior deciding that simply standing doesn't help and instead takes to the air, flying laps through the gravity chamber as you and Chaya keep working. After another few moments doing pull-ups on the bars he starts timing his pace to your calls, first one lap around every call, then three every two calls. Which has the added benefit of moving air through the chamber, giving you and Chaya a comfortable breeze as you push through the workout.

Nine nine seven, nine nine eight, nine nine nine, one thousand!” Chaya calls, finishing the pull-ups and dropping to the ground, chest heaving as she struggles to breathe. Seems that week off of intensive training is catching up to her. But then suddenly you feel Jr's overwhelming presence start dramatically shrinking, using up the power of his form. Immediately you rush to the controls, shutting the chamber down as he powers out of his form. He's a strong kid, but that much pressure at his level might crush him. So you power down the chamber, gravity returning to normal as his strength fades, collapsing to the ground by his sister and returning to his 'base' Super Saiyan form, chest heaving as well as he struggles to remain conscious.

“Tha-Wha-Haaaah-?!” he pants, unable to form words as he lays there, flat on his back. You walk over, picking up both your exhausted eldest daughter, so tired her eyes have even reverted to their natural black and your youngest son, eyes half closed as he's barely conscious from sustaining his form for so long. “Daa-?”
“It's okay, I've got you both.” you tell them, both children immediately closing their eyes and leaving everything to you. Junior passes out almost immediately, Chaya saying something you barely catch.
“N-Not...Yet... Gotta be...Strong. Like... Daa...Dy...” she mutters, struggling to stay up but passes out anyways, going limp in your arms as well. Her fighting spirit puts a smile on your face, you taking your children from the gravity chamber and into the shower, turning on a couple for them before stepping into a third for yourself, washing the morning training off with them and your spar with Freeza before that. The heat wakes them up after a few moments, both kids getting up and washing themselves off as well. Then once everyone's cleaned up and dressed, you address them both.

“Good job you two. You both put in real heart today.” you tell them, putting a hand on each of their heads and ruffling their hair. “Same time tomorrow?”
“I'll be here. But I gotta go, have a fight I need to go get to.” Chaya replies, turning to her little brother. “You did great! Let's do it again tomorrow.”
“Yeah! Let's do it!” he says, grinning excitedly and bouncing up and down excitedly before she raises her right to her forehead, teleporting away back to Dreadzone. And once Chaya leaves, your day returns to its normal schedule.

Nothing else happens out of the ordinary for another week, you all returning to your normal schedule. However, a week exactly from the first day your eldest daughter and youngest son start doing their daily spar, something changes.

Nothing happened until lunchtime, where, midway through your meal, suddenly a familiar mind reaches out to you. You can feel their panic, the fear filling your friend's mind as Guldo of the Ginyu of all people reaches out to you.

“Karn! We're in trouble! I need your help on Planet Potaufeu, immediately!” he thinks to you, fear radiating so strongly through the link you immediately rise, right hand going to your forehead before he's even finished the thought. “Everyone else, they've been taken!”
“Dad?” Broly asks, concern in his voice but you ignore him, focusing on Guldo's ki through the mental link. And, focused on his ki you vanish. One moment you're in your ship's mess hall, the next find yourself in a cave next to the four-eyed man, who looks beaten to hell. He's covered in bruises and a few burns, seemingly from energy attacks as he lays slumped on a wall next to an older, pale blue-skinned man with white hair on the sides of his head and beard. The old man's in just as rough shape as Guldo is, laying slumped beside him.

“Guldo, I'm here. What's going on?” you ask as you start trying to heal him with your Spirit Control, using your own energy to heal him. After a few seconds all of his eyes open, some through the heavy bruising as he looks to you, grinning despite the clear pain.
“You made it. Good. But there's no time. I-I'm the only. One left.” he replies. “Heal Potage first. He can tell you. What you're. Up...against.....”

And with that he loses consciousness, you continuing to heal him another several seconds before turning your focus to the other man. Who opens his eyes as you start healing him, looking up at you with a dazed and confused look. No doubt from those hits to the head.

“Hey, it's going to be alright. What's going on here?” you ask the old man, who wheezes and coughs before speaking.
“The fools. Always those searching for easy paths to power who doom us all.” the old man says, then focuses as he looks at your face. “Hold on, you're....Karn?!”
“Yeah, it's me. Guldo here called me for help, before he passed out.” you tell him, continuing to heal his body and energy with your own while talking. “What's going on?”
“It started several days ago, when a group of space pirates came looking for some 'Superhuman Water', claiming that by consuming it, it would make them a thousand times stronger. But that rumor is wrong. Instead of gaining power, the fools unleashed Commeson.”

“Commeson?” you ask, lowering your hands as you finish healing him as much as you can, the man looking himself over then running his hands over himself, feeling the damage he'd taking having been severely reduced. “What's that?”
“A weapon. Long ago, my ancestors were under attack, and created a weapon of unbelievable power.” he says. “But they couldn't control it, eventually sealing it away. As the last of my people, I have protected Commeson's prison for many decades, only for those pirates to defeat me and unleash that monster. Which is when your friend Guldo there arrived, with his friends. But they were no match.”

“What? Impossible!” you say, shocked that ANYTHING could defeat Captain Ginyu in Majin Buu's body, much less something a people as weak as this guy could create. But, after a moment's thought realize it has to be magical, and that you don't know enough. “What is Commeson? How does it fight, what does it do? I need to know everything if I'm going to take it down.”
“You have to find its core. Find the core and smash it. That should release your friends, if they haven't been consumed entirely yet.” he says, which doesn't sound good when suddenly you sense the rest of the Ginyu Force rapidly approaching you. But their energies don't feel quite right, and on top of what Guldo warned, means that this could be trouble.

“Get Guldo and retreat deeper into the cave. Now.” you tell him, the man wordlessly going to Guldo and getting his arm over his shoulder, rousing Guldo and helping him limp deeper into the cave as you turn towards the entrance. Only to see a familiar silhouette suddenly appear, along with three others.
“Ginyu Force! Sound off!” Captain Ginyu declares, the other members of the Ginyu Force posing and shouting as normal.
“BURTER!”
“JEICE!”
RECOOME!”
“And GINYU! And together we are-!”

“THE GINYU FORCE!” the four of them shout together, flaring their individual auras. And that's when you see it. They aren't their usual colors anymore, in fact they all seem to be made of some dark, purplish, almost translucent slime. And you realize that, whoever these guys are, they aren't the REAL Ginyu Force. This 'Commeson' ate your friends, then has the audacity to mimic them? Right in front of you?!

“Commeson! How Dare you impersonate! My! FRIENDS!!” you roar, ascending into your full Berserker God form. Your aura illuminates the entire cave, the force of your transformation blowing their slimy bodies back, distorting their forms. “I'LL KILL YOU!!”

Well, you COULD go for that. As long as you don't mind losing everyone absorbed, while letting Commeson-Ginyu potentially regenerate and come after you later. After absorbing and turning who knows how many planets' people into Commeson as well. But other than that, planet destruction would work fine.

“Impersonate? No, no. You're mistaken. We ARE the Ginyu Force.” this jelly doppelganger of your friend says, sounding exactly like him. “We are just now one with Commeson, who has taken us into him and made us even stronger. Join us Karn, and become stronger along side us!”
“Where is the real Ginyu Force, you bastards?” you demand, lightning crackling around you as you stare the duplicates down. But then, seeing Guldo behind you Burter tries to use his speed to blur past. But you were ready for him, stepping back and twisting into a right backfist. Your large forearm slams into the jelly-like Burter's neck, clothes-lining him and knocking him flat to the ground. “ANSWER ME!”

“We ARE real. Can't you sense our power, Karn?” Ginyu asks you, sounding very much like the friend you've known all this time. “We're just as real as you are.”
“What's goin' on 'bout, Karn?” Jeice asks, sounding exactly as Jeice usually does. “Don't you recognize me? It's me, Jeice.”
“No, you're not. And I won't ask again.” you say, when suddenly your instincts scream at you that you're in danger. Without hesitation you condense your aura, activating your Energy Body while turning to see Burter has turned into slime, trying to absorb you just like the Time Patrol's Majin creatures before. Forcing you to leap back away from him, backing towards Ginyu and the others. And immediately the captain goes on the attack, stretching his arms out towards you. But you turn, deflecting his arms away with your left while dashing in, landing a powerful gut punch with your right and sending him flying back out of the cave. “HAAAA!”
“RED ROCKET!” Recoome roars to your left, his powerlevel surging ten, twenty, no, THIRTY times over and launching into his signature flying knee at your head. “RECOOME KNEE!”

Thankfully, due to your armor it doesn't damage you, yet the force of the blow still knocks you back towards Jeice. Who also tries absorbing you just as Burter did. Forcing you to end your Energy Body already, unleashing an Explosive Wave that blows him away. Shredding his thinned form, splattering him all over the far wall. However, in that moment Recoome'd planted his feet, taking his pose and unleashing his power from his mouth in a devastating wave. “ERASER GUUUN!”

“Dammit!” you snarl, unable to get your shields up in time your only option is to block. But in your much larger form of Berserker God you stop his attack with one hand, catching the beam in your massive palm. Only for your instincts to again warn you of danger from behind, only for Burter to drive both feet full speed into the back of your left knee, hitting just hard enough to steal your balance and breaking your focus as Jeice goes on the attack from your right, having reformed his body.

“CRUSHER BALL!” he roars, firing the blast directly at you.

“HRRAAAA!” you roar, reaching out with your right and catching that attack as well, stopping both attacks from hitting you. Only for Burter to again turn into a wave of purple goo, trying his best to absorb you. With limited options, you telepathically tell Guldo to get out of here, you're bringing the whole cave down. Without a second's hesitation his ki is suddenly coming from outside the cave, along with the old man's as you redirect Jeice's attack into the ground at your feet, his powerful orb exploding in a massive blast. His energy washes over you, slightly singing you as the explosion blows the three of them back. And as the smoke starts to clear, you see that this cave had been in a mountain, only to be blown away by Jeice's attack. “Dammit.”

You need a plan. But what do you do?
>Telepathically ask Guldo to figure out how to stop them with the guy he saved while you keep the Ginyu Force occupied and focused on you. Worst case scenario you can go to Namek and have them all revived after the battle's over with Porunga's power
>Instant Transmission to Guldo then suppress your powerlevel, try and figure out a plan with the three of you before going back into battle. You need a plan if you're going to save them
>Telepathically reach out to Freeza and explain the situation, ask him for his help. If they're REALLY the Ginyu Force as they claim, they'll follow his orders
>Reach out to Chilli, explain the situation and see if he has any ideas on how to handle this. You don't want to drag him into it, but his powers might be your only chance to fix this without killing anyone in the Ginyu Force

Immediately you power back down, reverting to your base form while suppressing your power. Then, as you do you reach out to Guldo's powerlevel, teleporting back over to him with Instant Transmission. You appear beside Guldo and the old man Potage, both of who start at your arrival.

“Easy, it's me.” you say quietly, holding your hands out towards them. “We need a plan. There's got to be a way to save them.”
“They're still back at the sight of the prison, where we tried to stop it.” Guldo says. “After it ate them, they started turning transparent.”
“That is because Commeson drained them of everything. Soon they'll fade away into nothing, leaving only Commeson behind.” Potage tells you. “If Commeson is not stopped before they fade away entirely, your friends will be gone forever.”

“So, how do we stop it?” you ask, the elderly man raising a hand to his beard, stroking it as he thinks. “There has to be something.”
“If you can break its core, Commeson will lose its grip on everyone it captured.” he tells you. “It is a small, yellow crystal, somewhere inside one of the bodies he makes. If its broken, his hold on all of them will end and then he can be sealed back away.”
“Alright, so how do we find it?” Guldo asks, to which the elderly alien sighs out.
“I don't know. The only way to know for sure is to check them all, one by one.” he says, to which you interject.

“When I blew Jeice away, I didn't see a crystal in him.” you say, the old man nodding.
“Very well, it isn't inside him. But it has to be in one of them. Either in one of those pirates, or someone else on your team.” the elderly man says. “Just do not let Commeson envelop you. He will drain away your powers and abilities, leaving you an empty husk as well until you vanish.”
“Karn. Leave finding Commeson's core to me.” Guldo says, eyes meeting your own. “I'll kill this bastard. Just keep them busy while I hunt it down, if they all gang up on me or figure out what I'm doing, I can't stop them all.”

“Keep 'em busy, huh? I reckon I can do that.” you reply with a smirk, turning back to the old man. “Hey, Potage, right? You'd better find somewhere safe to hunker down, until we're done. Don't want it to get you too.”
“I have to go back to the prison. The seal is still there somewhere, without it Commeson cannot be sealed back away. I must find it while you two work on defeating this monster.” he says seriously, you nodding to him.
“Alright, good luck. Guldo, stay in telepathic communication with him, just in case he gets into trouble.” you tell him, dropping the suppression on your power so your strength rises exponentially. “I'm going to make a bit of noise.”

“Good luck Karn.” Guldo says, then he and Potage are simply gone. Guldo no doubt using his Time Freeze to get himself and the old man clear before you power back up. You decide to make a bit of a show with it, flying back up into the air and shouting.

“COMMESON! COME OUT AND FIGHT ME!” you roar, ascending up into your Berserker form, then the Ascended Berserker. “HRRRRAAAAAAA!!!”

You roar, raising your power to its limits while transforming into your strongest form, hair growing out down your back as you grow even larger, taking on the monstrous form of Berserker God once more. Your challenge doesn't go unanswered, the Ginyu Force members he'd captured all flying towards you from different directions.

“There ye' are! Thought you'd run away back 'ome or somethin'!” Jeice says, smirking.
“So, are you ready to join us?” Recoome asks. “Once you're one with Commeson, your power will grow even larger.”
“No, I'll pass. I'm going to save you, no matter what it takes.” you say, taking your fighting stance. “Bring it on.”

But how do you handle them?
>Rush in and attack with your Djem So, overwhelm them with your form's incredible power
>Attack with the flips and spins of Su Ma, don't let yourself get touched much less captured by their slimy absorption ability
>Keep your distance and cut them down with energy attacks. If they're focused on rebuilding themselves after your attacks, they won't be able to absorb you
>Energy Body and defend, trust in your armor-like barrier to prevent their absorption technique from working while staving off their attacks. You only have to stall until Guldo takes down its core, not destroy them

“HAAAAAA!” you roar, immediately targeting Ginyu again with a wide-angled ki wave. Your energy crashes into him, blasting the slime copy back away from you. Even as a slimy copy, his power is still the biggest threat. So, you blast him away as the other three go on the attack. Recoome again activates his Red Rocket powerup, aura blazing as he lunges towards you with his 'Recoome Knee' once more. Ending your blast you turn towards your giant friend, catching his knee with your left palm while Burter rushes in from your right, blocking his spinning kick with your right forearm.
“Got you!” Jeice exclaims from behind you as he once again stretches into a wave of purple slime, prepared to engulf you from behind. But, having already expected the sneak attack, you were ready. “HRRRAAAAAA!!”

Your ki explodes out from you in an Explosive Wave, knocking back both Recoome and Burter while shredding Jeice once more, then flying up higher into the air to get distance as your attack ends. Then, with the height advantage you gather your energy, sensing Guldo and Potage, are far away unleash a powerful Scattershot down.

“HAAAAA!” you shout, unleashing the orb you'd gathered into your right hand down. It splits into hundreds of smaller shots, the orbs exploding on contact with anything solid. Covering the trio below in explosions, your attack sending them all dropping down towards the ground.
“I won't let you hurt them!” Jelly Ginyu roars, power exploding up exponentially as he blasts towards you, pink aura blazing. “Even if you're a friend, I won't tolerate you attacking them!”
“You're not my friend, you're a cheap copy!” you roar back, drawing your left hand back and creating your Energy Javelin before pitching it at his rapidly-approaching power. “Now get out of my way!”

“Too slow!” Ginyu replies as your attack closes in, stretching his body into an “O”, leaving an opening for your attack. But instead of letting it pass harmlessly through you fire your Eye Beams into your attack, detonating it right as it's halfway through him. Detonating the lance of power and tearing Ginyu in two. “Gu-whaa?!”
“Got you!” you reply, readying another attack when suddenly inspiration strikes. This Commeson, it stole your friends power when it ate them. Which means this power isn't their own. And if someone's using stolen power, you can send it back to its rightful owner. So, you shape that power, drawing both hands forward while unleashing another wave of power. One laced with the Yardratian ultimate Spirit Control Technique: Forced Spirit Fission.

“HAAAAAAA!!” you roar, unleashing a powerful wave of emerald energy at Ginyu's upper half. Your wave slams into him, energy ripping his gelatinous body apart while drawing some of the REAL Ginyu's power from him. Which you direct upwards, forming a ball of energy far, far above. But you don't stop there, ending the beam you then turn to the rapidly-approaching Burter. Again you fire, emerald energy crashing into the blue blur and shredding his more liquid-like body while tearing some of your friend's energy free. Only for you to see another mass of energy forming below, one made by Jeice. Yet before you can do anything to stop it, just as you end the attack at Burter Recoome's ki suddenly appears behind you. With only a split-second to react you leap away, Recoome appearing in that spot behind where you'd been as he swings his arms through empty air. “Instant Transmission? Really?!”

“We've been busy since the last time we worked together.” Ginyu says, splitting himself into TWO identical slime Ginyus each with their full power. Not using something like that technique you learned from Cell, the Multiform that splits power evenly among the bodies you create. One starts rushing headlong at you while the other raises its fingers to his forehead, readying to Instant Transmission as well.
“HRRRYAAA!” you roar, unleashing another wave at the rushing Ginyu and consuming his body only for the other to appear behind you, immediately stretching and wrapping his arms around your chest. “Tch! Get OFF!”

Ending the wave you unleash another Explosive Wave, blasting him away from you and shredding his arms to nothing, only for Burter, now recovered to dash in and fire a rapid flurry of blows at your chest and head. Forcing you onto the defensive a moment, blocking his rapid attack for a few seconds before catching both hands. Then, without hesitation open your mouth and fire a Mouth Blast, consuming his entire head and upper body. His legs fall, you spinning and smacking Ginyu with Burter's arms, throwing them at his face while getting further back away into the air. But then they all scatter, Jeice's massive Galaxy Crusher Ball rising up from the ground directly at you. Seems these copies do have your friends' personalities, as he didn't aim it at the planet by getting above you and dropping it down.

But that doesn't mean you have to stop it, instead, as the planet-crushing attack draws close you simply raise your right hand to your forehead, focusing on the copy Jeice's powerlevel down below. And with a moment's focus teleport behind him with Instant Transmission. Before he realizes what's happened you activate your Energy Body once more, relying on it to shield you as you swing at his back. Caught by complete surprise, your ki-clad fist slams into the back of his head and sends him flying. He doesn't even make a sound, maybe despite being jelly you're still able to knock them out?

“JEICE?!” Burter exclaims, seeing you hit him. Then his aura changes, turning from a pale blue to a dark, deep blue. Then he blurs, moving faster than you've seen him move before as he dashes to you. Fist slamming into your face before you could react fast, but thankfully your Energy Body shields you from the blow. He launches into an incredible attack, fists flying so fast you'd think he has seven arms. But despite this dramatic increase to his speed he doesn't hit much harder, you not even feeling his attacks through your armor. So you throw your arms out to the sides as if inviting him to hit you harder, which he accepts, turning into a whirlwind of fists, feet, knees and elbows. Only for him to be so enraptured by hitting you he doesn't realize what you're doing, swinging your arms and pinning him to your chest. “What?!”

“Caught you.” you reply, slamming your forehead into his face so hard his jelly splashes and splatters, you then releasing him into a devastating right lariat to the throat and upper chest. Your heavy blow sends him flying in another direction, ninety degrees to your left of the way you'd sent Jeice as Recoome flies in.
“Recoome! Dive Kick!” he roars as you turn, deflecting his left shin off your left forearm. Knocking him off course, crashing heel-first into the ground beside you and leaving his upper body wide open for your devastating turning right, fist catching him in the temple. “GUYOH!!”

Your powerful punch sends him flying the opposite direction you'd sent Jeice, only for the Captain to attack in that moment.

“MILKY CANNON!” he roars from directly over you, firing a massive purple ball of energy down atop you before you could react. It detonates on contact, blasting away nearly half the thickness of your armor before he dives into the smoke cloud after you, left fist stretching at your face. Stepping aside and leaning your head, his fist only grazes your armor. Missing a direct hit only by the energy he'd shaved off your armor with his blast.

Only for his right to then fly down at you on your left, missing you by nearly a foot and confusing you. But that's answered as he then uses his arms like a bowstring to launch himself down straight at you, forehead slamming into forehead. Even through what's left of your Energy Body you feel that one, staggering back a step as Ginyu recoils as well, the heavy strike seemingly hurting him more than it hurt you. Allowing you to plant your feet, bracing yourself as he recovers.

“Gaaaaah?! What are you made of?!” he calls out, hands going to his forehead.
“Tougher stuff than you, pretender!” you shout, kicking off the ground at him and launching into a devastating Djem So combination. Fake right overhand into left jab to the face, right hook to the temple followed by a left uppercut just under the ribs finished with a devastating straight right to the jaw, snapping his head back and staggering the fake Ginyu. But before you can continue the attack Jeice dashes in from behind you, air humming with the sound of a drawn Ki Blade. So you turn, focusing on your ki and rebuilding your energy as you catch his right wrist with your right, stopping his backhanded strike before it got close. “Nice try. HAAAAA!”

You then rip his arm upwards, exposing his chest to your powerful right side kick. Had he bones they would have crunched, instead his body stretching around your blow like the Majins who work for the Time Patrol do before the force launches him back and away. Only for Recoome and Burter to both charge you from opposite sides, Burter unleashing a flurry of blows at your right while Recoome drops down on your left with a two-handed axe-handle, you blocking his heavy strike with your left forearm while ignoring Burter's lesser blows.

“Tch! Ignore ME will you!?” he exclaims, activating his own Energy Blades with twinned hisses of energy. Immediately you shove Recoome back, turning to Burter as he goes on the attack. Fortunately, he doesn't seem able to attack with his blades while using that impossible speed boost he was using earlier but he's still fast, forcing you onto the defensive. You deflect his strikes with your forearms, his blades cutting deeper and deeper into your Energy Body with each strike as you look for an opening. Only for Ginyu to stretch his arms out again, binding your left up with both of his, partially restraining you. “Thanks Captain!”
“No problem! Now cut him out of this armor, so he may join us!” Ginyu orders, Recoome dashing in with a massive two-handed Energy Blade as well. It's width reminding you of your son's blade you'd found, the blue one made of some ancient dragon's bone as he brings it down on you. Forcing you to stop it, catching the heavier strike in your right hand while Burter carves away at your armor. Their teamwork is too good, you can't stop them when they're fighting together! “Hurry!”

“Tch! HRRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, destroying your own Energy Body by unleashing even more ki, your Explosive Wave shredding it and blasting the Ginyu Force members back away from you. But they don't give you an instant, Recoome, Burter and Jeice all lunging back in towards you with blades drawn. You have to active your Energy Body again quick, or you'll be-!

CRACK

“GUUUOOOAAAH!”
“KYAAAAAAAAH!”
“GYAAAAAAHH!!”
“HUUUAAAAAGH!”

All four of them suddenly stop, crying out in pain as glowing red lines all appear throughout their bodies. Almost like cracks in glass as their bodies start losing their shape, turning more slimy.

“KARN! DESTROY THEM, NOW!” Guldo screams to you telepathically. “They're about to vanish, do it NOW!”
“HRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, throwing your energy out into your Red Dawn technique. Everything goes red as your ki blazes, consuming the four writhing forms of these fake Ginyu Force. As your energy explodes out you feel their bodies disintegrate from the force of your attack, their energy as well as the energy you'd split off before with Spirit Fission all flowing back towards where you sense Guldo. After completely eradicating the quartet you end the blast, sighing out as you power down over the massive crater you'd made. Your power plummets as you revert back to base, and for a single moment your vision goes a little blurry. But you did it. “Pheeew.”

All alone floating over the crater your blast had made on the alien world you look up at the sky, reflecting on what just happened for a moment. Even if it was only four of them, even if they weren't the REAL versions of your friends, the Ginyu Force are still a terrifying team. Despite you being leagues above any of them, even Captain Ginyu with the strength of Majin Buu, they'd still gotten you on the back foot, nearly taking even you down when fighting together. If Guldo hadn't saved you when he did, you might have been in real trouble. But before you can think on it any longer, a familiar voice suddenly appears in your mind.

“Karn, it's time.” Mechikabura thinks to you. “Today is the day Chronoa falls!”

>>
>>5873854
And that's it for the battle, did you enjoy seeing the Ginyu Force's growth? Ready to beging 2024 with the most important battle of Karn's life? What did you think of their tactics and abilities, anyone in this skirmish catch you by surprise? And are you ready to finally invade Conton City once more? All this and more, next year on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>5873854
>“Karn, it's time.” Mechikabura thinks to you. “Today is the day Chronoa falls!”

Fuck's sake, old man.
Karn Jr. is going to have a tough day, barely having a hold on his apparently-crucial-to-the-plan power that he's barely been given time to train with.
>>
>>5873865
He’s out of time and can’t wait any longer. As much as he wanted Karn Jr to get better, stronger for his form to last longer. But there’s still a way. Chaya’s powers will now be needed
>>
>>5873889
Geeze GD. Did you roll a Nat 1 in the background or something? Even before merging the berserker souls this kind of timeline is not sustainable. And doing this now when we're already tapping ourselves fighting Copy Slime? Fuck the oldman picked a bad time.
>>
>>5873891
It seems that old men in DBZ have a bad habit of dying at the worst possible time
>>
>>5873854
Shit, he picked a rough moment to do this....and good on the best squad getting their props, even if they were fake. Quality and Quantity on a team are hard to find, but Ginyu knows how to pick em.

I'm actually a bit nervous now. Meloka hasn't tapped into blue yet, and we have yet to fully grasp Beserker God's might, much less what lies beyond. And Jr. only knew for a week that he was the Beserker Avatar or some shit. I know that fusing the souls accelerated the timeline, but shit, it really comes at ya fast. Do we have a plan for an arc conclusion atleast 6 years in the making?
>>
>>5873891
He used a bit of sorcery to see how much longer he had left, feeling death approaching, and it was far less than he expected. He has to go NOW.
>>5873909
Very true.
>>5873910
Ginyu certainly does. His team is the most competent unit in all Universe 7.
>>5873915
Oh, this is going to be spectacular. But what makes you think that the arc will be that short?
>>
>>5873915
I for one am ready for Karn to go BEYOND ANGER when he simply can't keep up despite it all and all the work and effort everyone else is putting in. For Karn has the shoulders of Atlas, and no matter what, he can't lose. He's just not that kind of dad. For the sake of the future he will stop them! Eat your heart out, Trunks. It's our line now.
>>
>>5873993
This battle is going to be quite something. The plan is in place, all the pieces are gathered and everyone is in position. All that's left is to roll the dice, and decide the fate of Time itself.
>>
>>5874005
The hype is on.
>>
>>5874005
6 years in the making, how will we fuck it up
>>
>>5874030
By winning TOO HARD
>>
Rolled 14, 78, 64 = 156 (3d100)

>>5874030
Like this;
>>
>>5874014
This is going to be quite the battle. Keep a close eye on Conton City, there may be familiar faces lurking about.
>>5874030
By being overconfident in your strength, that’s the number one way. Number two is getting blitzed by a third party.
>>5874038
Ha.
>>5874049
Those rolls will not win you the day. They might be good enough to defeat fighters with red hair, but not blue. Or those with even stronger-colored hair/skin.
>>
>>5874060
>Keep a close eye on Conton City, there may be familiar faces lurking about.
You mean the faces of the mook squad we bullied into quiting for the three minmaxed tard strength members, and Giren? Or some of the goons we saw on the one day we just kind of buggered around in the tournament they had....Kid Trunks and Goten want a rematch dont they?
>>
Merry Christmas everyone!

>>5874156
They haven’t quit, they’re just less effective. Yes they do, but I also meant more of…Other faces. Ones you may or may not recognize, depending on your readings.
>>
>>5874207
MERRY CHRISTMAS
>May not recognize?
Like the various non DBZ characters pinky snatched to try and fight Karn's bullshit?
>>
You know i'm actually really concerned about this conton city mess, on the one hand i really want to beat the time assholes collective asses really really hard, especially time cunt because she literally nukes infinite lives and treats nobody with respect, actually straight up nuked reality because she couldn't calm the fuck down and see how the fight was gonna go with mechi; on the other hand i actually don't want to kill the time idiots, like trunks doesn't deserve the hate crime that will probably ensue in conton city because he actually proceeds to piss karn off enough with his sheer idiocy. i wanna spare him at the end of this. i also wouldn't hate the time cunt so damn much if she didn't have a literal proven in universe track record of the absolute worst genocider alive with the sheer highest kill count.
>>
>>5874410
No no, Trunks has flown past the point of not earning the hate crime we will bestow upon him as the ultimate non racist. He choose the path of lickbooting servant. We must, at the minimum, break him. Pink Bitch is to be given no mercy, she is fundamentally irredeemable.
>>
>>5874219
Potentially.
>>5874410
It’s been a long time coming for her, her kill count is uncountable. Even beings like Galactus, Dr Who, Darkseid, Thanos, etc don’t even have a hundredth of her killcount combined from respective verses. As for everyone else there, well we shall have to wait and see.
>>5874428
That all depends on one question: was/is what she’s trying to prevent by all of the reality destruction she’s done? Is whatever lies beyond it so terrible that it justifies her actions, or is she truly the monster she appears with no remorse?
>>
>>5874470
>Is whatever lies beyond it so terrible that it justifies her actions, or is she truly the monster she appears with no remorse?
Frankly I don't give a damn. We'll punch her. And if whatever comes after is worse, we'll punch it too. Go full Asura's Wrath up in here.
>>
>>5874470
If whatever is worse than her, but she somehow thinks her mediocrity was actually preventing something means one of three things, the thing is playing with her, its not nearly as threatening as she thinks it will be for everyone else, or the bitch is feeding it in some weird metaphysical way. I blame Colonel Sanders the uncooked time bird.
>>
>>5874428
Oh no I agree pink bitch needs to die, she's done some legitimately irredeemable shit. Where my issues lie here though is what do we do afterwards, someone's gotta be in charge of timeshit if she's actually holding terrible things back and ol mechi also has a track record of being a team killing fucktard once he got his youth back, so I kind of expect him to do something extremely retarded as well. Maybe dumplin but he's probably gonna be doing Mechikabura's demon god job at the end of this either way.
>>
>>5874659
He already sorted the chances of him going full retard once his youth is back, we wont do it twice this go around.
As for Pink Bitch so far the only thing she stands to lose is her place at the top of the food chain.
>>
>>5874475
A fair response.
>>5874597
Undoing reality to undo something is a drastic solution, but Mechikabura isn’t that level of threat. Whatever it was had to be a serious threat if it were necessary.
>>5874659
That’s a good question. Who all could even fulfill the job requirements? Fu? Chilli? Aeos?
>>5874816
Supposedly. Hopefully.
>>
>>5875032
The final boss beyond time is just GD the quest master.
>>
>>5875125
Ha, but no. -I- am not the final boss
>>
>>5875140
That sounds like something the final boss might say.

Say something the final boss would never say.
>>
>>5875148
>Say something the final boss would never say.
That’s impossible, final bosses have said everything from “player’s in the right I’m not stopping” to “Why are you attacking me I’m right?!”
>>
>>5875206
True final boss lines are "I am remaking this world" "I'm putting my foot down" and "final destination".
>>
>>5875288
>NO ITEMS
>KARNS ONLY
>FINAL DESTINATION
>>
>>5875288
Ha. But no, a QM is no good final boss. As me losing and no doubt dying means no more updates.
>>5875291
Ha. But no, if there is a ‘final’ boss to SCQ, its not me.
>>
Just a reminder there won't be an episode this weekend, as I'm going to be going through the pastebins and everything to get ready for the new year. But at the moment I don't have an idea for an epilogue on this one, should we follow up with the Guldo on what he went through to defeat Commeson? Do we want a Maz/Kayle epilogue confronting their older siblings Tatsu and Tomi over their agenda? Or perhaps some of Meloka's training under Whis, or even Trunks' wedding preparations? So many choices, so I'll see what you all think as far as epilogues go, which'll drop over the weekend.
>>
>>5875703
>guldo
Seems fun
>meloka training
Also interesting
>boy’s weddings preparation
I want to crash his wedding so fucking hard after the shit he pulled during Karn’s anf Chili’s wedding.
>>
>>5875703
I'm gonna have to go with my gut and say Maz and Kayle vs Tatsu and Tomi sounds the most interesting.
There's a lot of obvious dramatic and thematic potential there I feel.
>>
>>5875032
>Aeos
I'm legit convinced she's half the reason pinky gives absolutely no fucks about lives as a whole and why she even reset shit, fuck time kai's as a whole.
>>
>>5875708
So many good options.
>>5875718
True, their conflict is something different.
>>5875807
But does Aeos even know? Or has the Aeos of this reality been another casualty?

i hope we survive the time patrol arc. i'd be a damn shame if we karn didn't get to see the T.O.P

Patron poll for Jan 2024 is now live until Tuesday the 2nd at 8pm EST, so make sure to cast your votes. New year all new options. In the meantime, finally got the majority of the post-Christmas cleaning in preparation for the new year done so tomorrow/Saturday I'll be able to dig into the pastebins and update them all.

>>5876111
With so many wish dragons around, it's not about if YOU will survive. You're too important to too many factions to stay dead for very long. But being revived may come with... Obligations, depending on who and when/where you are revived.
>>
>>5876111
karn will survive but we are essentially fighting for our freedom this arc

If we see Xeno Goku again and he hasn't broken out the Power Pole, I'm gonna call him out for insulting us like that.

>>
>>5877310
>Karn's pole has twice the length and ten times the girth
Ha!
Now I'm thinking about what Vegeta's favored weapon would have been. Probably something oversized or conspicuously small.
>>
>>5877314
i imagine vegeta would have some stupidly over complicated weapon if anything, like a 3 section staff or a kusari-gama or some shit.
>>
>>5877620
Either he'd vaguely hear about the bat'leth and how it's a warrior's honorable weapon of honor and pride and decide that's for him, or maybe some kind of rocket hammer or the glaive from Krull.
>>
>>5877660
Nunchucks. He'd use nunchucks.
>>
>>5877664
Pretty sure he just has a Chieftains Gravity Hammer laying around.
>>
>>5876570
True.
>>5877230
I don’t know why, is there a joke I’m not getting?
>>5877314
>spoiler
His fists. Would deem other weapons “lesser”. Especially in the saiyan pod days, any weapon small enough to fit wouldn’t be powerful enough for him to swallow his pride to use.
>>5877689
That’s Karn.
>>
>>5877696
What about a light saber? Ki blades aside those things are just stupidly effective.
>>
>>5877699
If he ever found one, King Cold himself only has three in his collection. Two of which are his own and former master’s weapons. Arctus had to build his own, and without force sensitivity you’d make not a sword but a bomb. One with an instantaneous fuse. Chaya found a collection, less than a dozen still working in the literal cave full of the crystals. They’re quite rare in this day and age, especially with Coruscant being obliterated and the mid-Clone War Order being scattered on warring planets across the universe.
>>
>>5877696
>I don’t know why, is there a joke I’m not getting?
No. I just remember that Goku has a favored weapon and I figured if he was serious about taking us down, he'd use it.
>>
>>5877721
We might get it back with Daima, but he hasn’t used it since training on Kami’s Lookout.
>>
>>5878023
Which, when you think about it is odd. He uses it only once more, not even in a fight but to escape the fire cauldron just before his wedding when he meets grandpa gohan for the last time. Unless you count world’s strongest movie, as its technically non-canon to the manga but canon to the anime.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 209 Epilogue -

AGE 757, NEW SALDA

“No no no, that's not right at all! Kayle, your body's at a fifty degree angle, not forty five. Maz, index fingers out, not middle.” Tomitsu shouts, the fused being sounding frustrated as they stands there, arms crossed before you and your twin brother. “Try it again.”

You sigh out defeatedly, having gotten it wrong again for the uncountable time, having been doing this for over an hour. Turning to your twin brother, to ask him if he wants to switch sides when you see him glaring angrily at Tomitsu.

“Oh? What's wrong?” Tomitsu asks, voice raising a bit in tone. “Are you getting angry?”
“I'm done.” he replies, standing back up out of the pose and turning away. “Keep your stupid fusion to yourself, I quit.”
“Maz?” you ask, but before you can say anything else Tomitsu's gone around your brother, standing directly over him and looking down.
“You quit? Just like that?” the fused being asks. “Are you really going to just give up that easily? I thought you wanted to be stronger.”

“Of course I want to be stronger. But I never wanted to do this stupid dance.” Maz replies. “YOU'RE the one who dragged us out here, remember?”
“Because you're going to get stronger, right? This is how.” the fused warrior replies, flashing up into Super Saiyan Three. His sudden burst of power knocks both you and your brother over, standing over your brother and looking down on him. “I didn't know you were such a quitter. What would Dad say if he saw you quit like this?”
“You don't get to say that!” Maz snarls with surprising venom, surging to his feet as his golden aura blazes. “That's MY daddy, not yours! Tatsu and Tomi get to call him dad, not you! You're not my brother or sister! You're a monster!”

“-Wha-?” Tomitsu says, shocked by your brother's declaration. But, as he says it, you can't help but feel some small part of you agree entirely with this. You are Kayle, twin to your brother Maz and daughter of Meloka and Karn, the strongest Saiyans in this timeline. But your older brother and sister twins, Tatsu and Tomi, are... Different. As long as you've known them, they haven't been, well, alone. There's a third being inside them both, calling itself “Tomitsu”. Even your dad recognizes that it's a different being than your siblings, calling it out by name from time to time. But it has never felt like family to you. That strange, alien mind doesn't think like anyone else you know. “You-?”

“Nobody likes you!” Maz continues, fired up now as he continues shouting. “You're NOT my brother or sister, so stop acting like you are! You act like we should want to be like you, but I'd NEVER do that to Kayle! I'd never let her insides get eaten by some weirdo in her head!”
“Yeah!” you chime in, feeling emboldened by your brother's shouting. “I like Maz as he is, I don't wanna have to share my brain with a weirdo!”

“Maz... Kayle...” Tomitsu says, sounding completely shocked by both of your outbursts. The fusion warrior seems so surprised that they fall out of the transformed state, reverting back to base form and staring at you both. It doesn't say anything, but as you see the hurt come over that face that looks almost like either of your siblings', you start to feel kind of bad for it. “I-I just wanted you... Wanted you both to get to have what the three of us have. But, if you don't want to, I can't force you.”

And without another word Tomitsu kicks off the ground, blitzing away. Making your guts feel all wriggly and uncomfortable. Suddenly you want to go apologize to Tomitsu, but Maz turns angrily from him back to you.

“Thanks for backing me up. I thought you'd think the same way I did, but I was worried you might agree with them instead.” he says, reminding you of something Tomi had told you. How she and Tatsu, since they were born, were always able to read each other's mind, to always be talking telepathically before learning that was a thing. And you feel jealous of your big brother and sister, wishing you and Maz were that close. Maybe learning this whole fusion thing would be worth it after all? Yet as you're sitting there in your doubts, suddenly you sense your biggest brother's energy. A moment later he appears next to you both, a scowl on his face.

“Broly?” you ask him, surprised that he's here now. “What's going on?”
“I sensed Tomitsu take off, leaving you both and was worried.” he replies, looking from you to your brother's faces. “What happened? I thought you were going to train together today?”
“Well...” you say, looking towards your brother. Who is silent a moment before speaking up.

“We don't want to learn fusion anymore.” he tells him, your oldest brother's brows furrowing a bit. “We're done.”
“Yeah.” you chime in. “We don't want to turn out like that.”
“What?” he asks, the anger in his tone causing you to slap both hands over your mouth so no other words that make him angry come out. He takes a deep breath, then continues. “Kayle, what do you mean by that? What happened?”

You stammer wordlessly for a few moments, before Maz speaks up, drawing Broly's attention from you.

“Don't you find it weird too?” he says, Broly turning to him. “Tomitsu. That.....Thing isn't our brother or sister!”
“Maz. That's-” Broly starts, trying to speak calmly but your brother is fired up, shouting over him.
“When was the last time you talked to Tatsu? Or Tomi? Huh?” he asks angrily, you seeing your brother about to shout him down but then stop. He freezes, mouth agape as he looks down at your brother, then closes his mouth, brows furrowing even further. “That being isn't our brother or sister! It's been taking them over!”

“...Is that what you both think?” he asks, looking from him back to you. Which you nod to him, holding your right upper arm.
“I talked to Tomi once. Last week.” you say, voice a lot quieter than your brother's. “But we didn't get to finish talking before Tomitsu took her away.”
“I see. If this is what you both really think, then perhaps we should-” he starts, but then your Daddy's voice speaks up in your minds.
“Come on everyone, lunch is ready.” he thinks, you all sensing him for just that moment before he ends the mental link.
“We'll talk about this with him after we eat.” Broly says simply, raising his right hand to his forehead. “Come on, let's go eat.”

You and Maz take his offered left, Broly teleporting the three of you back into the mess hall. Where you find your father, Karn Jr, Okira, and surprisingly Tatsu and Tomi are already seated. The three of you sit down as well, noticing immediately that neither Tatsu nor Tomi look towards you or your brother, Broly picking up on this as well. He doesn't say anything however, you all digging into your meal. No doubt wanting to eat first before bringing it up. But after a few minutes, he speaks up.

“Dad?” Broly asks, his tone causing you to look up to him, then your Daddy. Only to see him raise his right to his forehead, vanishing. “Wh-?”
“What's going on?” Caulifla asks, Broly closing his eyes as he focuses for a moment. “Where'd he go?”
“Dad's with the Ginyu Force.” Broly says, you all sighing out in relief. “Whatever they're up to, they must have called him in for backup. But I didn't sense anything terribly powerful there, so it must be fine.”
“Should we double check?” you ask, feeling worried for your Daddy. Sure he's stronger than just about anybody from any timeline, but you've seen him in the healing pods before. Like that one time back during that war, where Momma thought he was gonna die because of those crystals inside him. “They might need more help.”

“It's best not to interfere. If Dad's fighting something and needs any of our help, he'll let us know.” Caulifla says, her voice kind of weird but you can't place why, something in how she said that doesn't sound like her normally. But that goes away as she keeps talking, voice returning to normal. “Besides, we wouldn't want to get in the way if it's real trouble.”
“I guess.” you reply, going back to your meal. The rest of the lunch is quiet, everyone either worried about Daddy or they can feel the tension between you and Maz and Tatsu and Tomi, the four of you not talking. But then, all of a sudden, Karn Jr just vanishes! One second he's there at the table with you all, trying to tell Okira something, but then he's just gone. “What?!”

Everyone shouts in surprise at seeing him gone, but before any of you can do more than make a noise, suddenly you are no longer in the mess hall. You and your siblings, all of them even Chilli and his family who all weren't in the mess hall with you are here now. And, looking around, recognize where you are.

“Towa? What's going on?” Broly asks immediately, you turning to see him looking at Towa in her transformation, Future Chaya and Ace both powered up to their strongest forms. “What's happening? Where is Jr? And Chaya?”
“Chaya's gone too.” you mutter, realizing that he was right and she wasn't brought here too. Even though Chilli and his family were all brought along. You then use your ki sense, to see if anyone else is missing when you sense something even stranger: there are TWO Chillis! As you sense this you turn, looking for the other only to see an old man with a beard, half his face a skull as he stands at the back of the room. And, seeing you looking his way meets your gaze, giving you a creepy half-skeleton smile with a small nod.

“Mechikabura's summoned your father, as well as your siblings.” Towa says, addressing his last question first. “Because today is the day. With your father and youngest brother's powers combined, Karn is going to lead the Demon Realm's invasion of Conton City. Today is the day the Time Patrol finally meet their end!”

Another one of those problems we can't punch to death...I just hope Tatsu, Tomi, and Tomitsu aren't too shaken up by all that. It's harsh, being told by your flesh and blood that you're some kind of monster.
We're gonna set Maz and Kayle straight after the dust is settled. We having been fighting this long just to see our family put each other down like that.
>>
Damn. I can't believe Maz just gave Tomitsu the freak treatment like that. But now that they brought it up, it is something worth thinking about. Tomitsu can't exist at the same time as Tatsu and Tomi. Will they have to "swap places" forever?
>>
>>5878918

>“When was the last time you talked to Tatsu? Or Tomi? Huh?” he asks angrily, you seeing your brother about to shout him down but then stop. >“I talked to Tomi once. Last week.” you say, voice a lot quieter than your brother's. “But we didn't get to finish talking before Tomitsu took her away.”

This is a bit of an issue, though. Complicated, too. It's one thing to tell Tatsu and Tomi not to lose themselves in their fusion, to act and interact with others as their individual selves for (most? a decent chunk of?) the time, but that's essentially telling Tomitsu that he/she doesn't deserve to exist/operate most of the time because he's/she's 'less real', so just back off and let the 'real kids' play. Harsh.

For some reason it was saying I was in incognito mode in my normal browser when it was turned off, and now that I switched its working fine....

To a new year, new beginnings, commitments and a wild year of SCQ. I don’t think that even -I- am ready for what’s coming. Both with the battle for Conton City, and what comes afterwards.
>>5879203
Classic.
>>5879204
Huh. Weird.

If we end up dying, I expect no less than a million souls being used as fuel to drag our soul back from oblivion.
>>
>>5879351
I'm on a different browser now, so posting with pictures should still work? Might be a update glitch.
>>
>>5879359
>just a million
>>
>>5879359
Karn wipes his ass on millions.
>>
>>5879359
Ha. But no, a single wish is all revival takes. HOWEVER…
>>5879561
Who knows?
>>5879636
Used to. Not so much anymore, his days of leading an army from the front are years behind him. Until now.
>>
Y’all have NO IDEA how excited I am for this weekend! I have been waiting so long to get to this moment, can hardly believe this is how 2024 kicks off!
>>
>>5880431
Here's hoping Towa thought to bring ALL of our allies along and not just our family.
Frieza, Ubo, and the Ginyu Force would all prove invaluable in an assault like this.
>>
>>5880443
I think you’re misunderstanding. Towa isn’t a part of the assault, and neither are your family. No one from your timeline is a part of this attack, going directly INTO Conton City but you. At least, initially. Mechikabura has your family all hidden safely away in Towa’s realm, with not only Future Chaya, Ace, Evolved Demon God Towa AND Punished Chilli for protection, but, well we might see in a final epilogue for the episode, if I get it written in time.
>>
>>5880790
Friezas going to finally hit his black form when we fucking die to trunks isn't he?
>>
>>5881121
No, not quite. Freeza might not be involved in this attack at all. Mechikabura’s sending in Saiyans all hopped up on double Berserker Soul time immunity and rage to rampage and destroy.
>>
QM UPDATE
Unfortunately, since it's already Wednesday and I haven't gotten a single word down, I won't have an epilogue ready this week before episode 210 begins. But when 210 hits, I hope you all are ready. The largest-scale conflict since the Covenant War is about to go down. And it probably won't end in a single battle either...
>>
>>5881516
aw hell, this will be a fight alright.
>>
>>5881516
Oh yeah, bring on the Time War...just for reference, is pinky gonna try and drag the Theros Gods in for a rematch?
>>
>>5881556
Its going to be crazy.
>>5881571
Why? They couldn’t handle you at a far weaker state, much less what you are now. If they’re pulling gods to fight you, they’d be much stronger….Angrier deities…
>>
>>5881594
>they’d be much stronger….Angrier deities…
If'n it be the one methinks it do then we'd get neg-diffed. He's hax through sheer dumb power. Makes Jiren look like a toddler.
>>
December's Patron story/artwork just dropped, go check it out! Enjoy that little bit of lore, and maybe foreshadowing as well?

>>5881611
Not sure which one you mean, but there are a few that could fit my description. Which is why I kept it vague.
>>
>>5881650
>Not sure which one you mean
The ANGRIEST of course.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehp5E-g7ygI
He and Karn would actually get along famously when talking about their kids and what they would do for them.
>>
>>5881650
That was a good epilogue GD. I am so fucking mad right now.[.spoiler]
>>
>>5881686
Quite possibly, were they to meet in a neutral setting. But if Karn were to lead an invasion of that earth, however…
>>5881937
Glad you enjoyed. And yes, not everything is always as it seemed.
>>
>>5881594
Because I find the idea of red shirting those smug goons hilarious and something I could see her doing just to get more bodies on the front line.
>>
>>5882282
While funny, Conton City is full of more physical and magical threats, less divine ones. Gods could potentially discover the truth, after all.
>>
>>5882308
Oh that's a great joke. Gods being intelligent enough to deduce things. Whew. Knee slapper. The only smart god we've never met is a dead one. Or at least, one of the dead.
>>
>>5882318
I’m not sayinng they’d be SMART enough to figure it out. But they may notice something “wrong” with her Mantle as Supreme Kai of Time.
>>
Here we are, 24 hours away from a battle that’s been brewing since episode 10. The Battle of Conton City begins tomorrow!
>>
>>5882318
Undying? Jergal is a weird definition.
>>5882376
Like she is wholly unfit for it and has been fucking up for a looooong time to try and keep things her way? Nah, your still giving them more credit than they deserve.
>>
>>5883003
>Like she is wholly unfit for it and has been fucking up for a looooong time to try and keep things her way?
More like they realize that her power isn’t quite “right”, like the mantle barely belongs. Like it doesn’t belong to reality, exuding a “wrongness” beings of Order would be able to pick up on.
>>
>>5883091
If the mantle is passively rejecting her for whatever reason, does that mean the position of Supreme Kai of Time is still up for grabs?
>>
>>5883091
Its almost like she fucking glows?
>>
>>5883104
>If the mantle is passively rejecting her
No. She has this reality’s mantle. And all those that came before, still tied to reality and existence by her presence. In much the same way as Karn’s Berserker power being tied to DDF.
>>5883111
Ha! Yes
>>
>>5883120
I fucking knew it.
>>
>>5883136
to be fair we've known shes queen glowie for well over 150 threads now, thats not new info.
>>
>>5883208
Speak for yourself, I thought her only failing was bad cooking! Whoever could have foreseen this turn of events? By all the kamis and kais. :^)
>>
Soon.

>>5883136
Ha
>>5883208
True
>>5883218
Heh.
>>
SOON!
>>
>>5883496
It is time! >>5883539
