05/04/12(Fri)00:41 No.18970653"Why don't I hurt? Didn't I fall down a staircase?"
"Not all the way, just a few steps before your foot caught the rail and stopped you. Besides, you've been out for two days. Bruises heal."
"....if I were out for two days, why am I on the couch fully dressed?"
"I was kinda hoping you could tell us that. You WERE in your bed about an hour and a half ago when I left and told Elsie to keep an eye on you while I got something to eat. When she got here you were on the couch, the IV was disconnected, and you had somehow acquired pants."
"And remained comatose?"
"No, I just don't think you were fully awake or aware. Kinda like sleepwalking."
"So I half woke up, got dressed, and walked out to pass out on the couch, and don't remember this? Doesn't that strike you as... odd?"
"Not particularly. People with an altered mindset caused by drugs, hormone imbalance, or light neurological trauma sleepwalk. It happens. On the list of things that DON'T happen? Healthy people in their late teens with no prior history, genetic or otherwise, of neurological problems having a seizure without an obvious trigger."
[ ] So, am I fine now? [ ] I hope I didn't scare you guys too badly. [ ] Wait, two days? |
