She beams at you. “Of course, sir! Alchemy covers two subschools of standard magic: transmutation and potion making. While the most obvious of our deeds involve transmutation, such as the walls of the city and the spires we live in, most of our experimentation goes into potions, which we make through various herbs and materials, as well as magical augmentation. We’ve got healing potions, strength potions, agility potions, mental stimulants, and endurance drinks. Currently we’ve got many more being tested and refined to make sure it’s fit for public consumption!”

As for the Daedalus Workshops, we’re glad that they help the people of Terec, but we’re also worried about what they’ve been working on.” She leans over and whispers, “Have you heard they’re working on golems and flying machines? It could go horribly wrong!”

You nod. Yup. Everyone’s elitist here. It’s a fact. "How good are your healing potions, and how much do they cost?"

“They can heal major wounds, like sword wounds. You know, stuff that you’d get while working out in the wild.”

She giggles. “It’s pretty self-explanatory, sir. One potion will multiply your ability for a few minutes.”

Well, tonight was more interesting than you expected. "Did you have fun tonight? I hope this monk didn't bore you." She tells you that yes, she did, kisses you on the cheek, and says that you should stop by the shop more often. As you walk back to Ingrid’s Inn, you touch your cheek.

Well, that was an adventure of a different sort, wasn’t it?
